The Original Joy

Author's Note Before The Story

This is a short story (shorter than an 8-year-old boy's cock), originally written and published on Nifty in 2011. Here I just revised a bit, mainly fixing the wrong words and phrases, and a few things I think not that reasonable. The story line is not changed at all.

The story background is set at where I come from. All the songs except those written by Jay, the MC boy, are real pop songs here. The songs (or say, lyrics) written by Jay are my work. For all the songs I could only try to translate the lyrics as best as I could, and may not be as beautiful as the original lyrics. Still I hope you enjoy it.

Prologue

"Jay Feng! Jay Feng! Jay Feng! Jay Feng..."

Jay sat in his own dressing room alone. He could still hear that many people were calling his name passionately. The show he just performed was still running in his mind; and he felt that he could still see the fanatical eyes of his fans.

It might be a successful singing concert. Might be. However, he didn't feel happy at all. He knew that he didn't do well in this performance. He knew that he didn't want to stand on the stage at all. On the contrary, he had a very strong, tired feeling. He had an urge to cry, but no tears came. No shoulder to lean against either.

Jay woke up from his trance and looked at his dressing room. He knew that only a very famous singer could have a dedicated dressing room. However, at that moment, he preferred giving up all these special treatments and everything he had, in exchange for a long and sweet sleep.

He glanced at his own suitcase. Inside the suitcase were some of his performing outfits, and some t-shirts and shorts he usually used to disguise himself. He thought for a while, stood up, and took a baseball cap, a t-shirt, a pair of shorts and plain glasses out from the suitcase. Then he tried to put all those into his performing costume he was still wearing. He then opened the door of the dressing room.

"Hey, why haven't you taken off your costume?" An assistant who just helped Jay to remove his makeup saw that Jay was still in his costume. He asked in surprise.

"Oh, I just need to pee," said Jay.

The assistant nodded his head. Jay walked toward the restroom. At the end of the curved aisle was the emergency exit. Jay looked back and made sure that nobody could see him. He opened the door of the emergency exit and ran out into the night.
