Miguel Sanchez The Pilot - Book II Chapter 10 I went out and checked the house and turned off all the lights. I crawled in bed and Robert moved so I could be in the middle. Robert turned off the light and I lay there with two precious boys wrapped in my arms. I closed my eyes and wondered if there was any possible my life could be better than this. I woke the next morning and felt two pairs of hands caressing my body. I looked around and said, "Ummm, what a nice way to be woke up?" Shane had his hand around my dick and Robert was bust playing with my balls when Shane said, "Just lay here Daddy, we have something for you." The next thing I felt was a warm mouth envelope my dick and another start sucking on my balls. I closed my eyes and thought, 'I must have died and gone to heaven.' I felt a little digit probing around my hole so I raised my legs to allow him better access. The next thing I felt was totally amazing. I felt the tip of a tongue lick my neither region then touch the outside of my hole. Robert was rimming me and I wondered who taught him this trick. After five minutes of that I was almost ready to blow. The next ting I knew I felt Shane insert the vibrator in me and turn it on. I was looking to see where Robert went then I saw him lubing his hard cut cock in preparation to assault Shane's ass. I have to admit that this was one very hot sight. My son was sucking me while being prepared to be fucked by his foster brother. I leaned back and was enjoying the services and sights these two boys were giving me. I closed my eyes and thought, 'I've must have died and gone to heaven.' My two boys were really giving me a show. I told Shane was getting ready to blow and he sucked down every drop of juice I gave him. Robert was going to town on Shane's ass so I turned around and started sucking his joystick. I wrapped my lips around it and so sooner than I did I felt him feed me with his boy juice. Robert had driven in deep in Shane's hole and filled him with his sauce. Once we all came back to earth, we used the toilet then took a shower. I put on my underwear while the boys chose to remain nude and went to the kitchen for breakfast. Robert opened the cupboard and saw the donuts I bought yesterday. He grabbed the box and said, "Daddy can we have these for breakfast?" I nodded my head then said, "You better set the box where I can reach them also kiddo." He giggled then put the box on the table. He brought over some paper towels while Shane poured them each a glass of milk. I was a nice sunny day in Miami and I was wondering what to do. It hit me that neither boy had a bike so I decided to remedy that situation. I finished my morning coffee then said, "You guys go get dressed we have some shopping to do." Thinking nothing of my statement, they quickly dressed and we headed off. I vaguely remembered a bike shop on Federal Highway so I took off trying to see if my memory hadn't failed me. After driving for about thirty minutes I saw the sign. The boys were in the back seat talking and carrying on not paying attention to where I was going until I pulled into the parking lot and shut off the engine. Robert was the first one so see the shop and he said, "Daddy, are you going to get us bikes?" I got out of the truck and was surrounded by two jumping beans. I wrapped my arms around them and entered the shop. They took off in two different directions and after about fifteen minutes I was looking at bikes for each of them. Shane found a fifteen-speed racing style bike and I watched him sit on it and the size was perfect. There was room for the seat to be adjusted so as he grew it would still fit him. Robert found an off road style bike that had ten speeds and it too fit him well. I thought his was more practical than Shane's because of the field out back but I let each make their own choice. I next found helmets that were the proper size and made sure they fit right because I did not what them to prove that concrete is harder than their heads. I paid for the bikes then dropped the back seat so they would both fit and we headed home. It was almost lunchtime so we ate then I let the boy's go riding. I decided the Yukon needed a bath so I pulled it out then donned a set of Speedos and sandals. I was about half way done with the job when I heard a wolf whistle. I looked around and there at the end of the driveway was John. He was standing there with a big grin on his face then he said, "Nice view Buck." I shot the water hose at him and he giggled as he came running up to greet me. I leaned down and picked him up in a big hug. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and said, "I see you've moved in now, huh? He returned my kiss and said, "Yeah, we moved in last weekend. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to say good-bye but now we don't. Where's Shane?" "Ah don't worry about that son," I said putting him back on his feet. "Shane's around here somewhere. He and his foster brother are riding their bikes." "Cool," John said blinding me with his killer smile. "When did you get a foster kid?" I looked at him and said, "Please don't call him that son. He's a sensitive boy and has been through a lot in the past month." I explained all that Robert had gone through then John said, "I'm sure glad you're his foster Dad now." I was just about to say something when a voice yelled, "Hi John." Shane peddled fast to the house then set his bike down and went to hug his friend. Robert came up and watched the goings on when I said, "John, this is my foster son Robert. Robert, this is John. John is Shane's first friend and met each other at the hotel where we were staying." John walked over to Robert and gave him a long hug then said, "It nice to meet you Robert. I don't have many friends and I would sure like you to me mine." Robert smiled and said, "If you're my brother's friend, you're mine too." The three boys took off on their bikes again then I went back to work in the truck. I looked in the sky and saw dark rain clouds moving in so I hopped the boys would be back before it cut loose. I walked outside and saw the boys heading in my direction. The three of them parked their bikes in the open bay and went inside to get something to drink. I was relaxing from my afternoon exercise when I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door and there was John's Dad. I invited him in and said, "Hey stranger, come on in." "Thanks Buck," he said shaking my hand. "I saw my boy's bike in your garage but wasn't sure who lived here. Nice house you have here." "Thanks," I said heading towards the living room. "I was washing my truck when John came up. I have a new addition to my family. Boys, can you come here please?" Three boys came scampering out of the room over garage when Shane said, "Yes Daddy, you called us?" "Yes son," I said. "Hi Dad," John said. "Look who I found?" I made the introductions when the phone rang. It was Chief Roberts and he had an emergency and he needed me to come in. I looked at John and said, "John, can you watch my boys please? I've been called into work." "Sure Buck," he said. "Do you know how long you will be?" I was heading into my bedroom to change and I said, "I don't know. I don't even know what the emergency is yet. The Chief wouldn't say. I will have my cell phone with me so I can call. Can I get your number so I can program it in?" John gave me his new number and I came out in my uniform. Little John said, "Wow Buck, you look sharp." I thanked him then said, "Shane, Robert I want you to ride over to John's house and stay there. Robert, John and Pat are good people and they will take good care of you and your brother." He ran over to me and said, "Be careful Daddy. I don't want to lose you." I patted him on the head then kissed his cheek saying, "You won't lose me son. I'll be back as soon as I can and I'll call John to let him know what's going on. Daddy has to go now." I reached my arm out for Shane and ended up with an extra boy as I gave each hugs and kisses. Shane said he had his key in case they needed anything so I left and let Shane lock up the house. I had been told that we could have red lights in our vehicles for emergency use and I had got myself a dash light. I started the truck, turned the red lights on and headed for the station. On the way I reached into my pocket and clipped my ID card to my pocket. Thanks to the red lights it only took me five minutes to get to the station. I walked into the bay and saw Ace and the Chief standing there. I looked at them and said, "What's up guys?" The Chief said, "A big multi-car accident out on I95 and traffic is blocked for miles. Ground based ambulances are having a hard time getting through to reach the scene. We have two choppers in route but they're coming north from the Keys so it's going to take them a little while to get here. State Police have blocked traffic and are turning southbound traffic around so emergency vehicles can get in but that is going slow. As of yet, there is no one on scene. Buck, I'm sending you and Ace out and he's going to get you in there one way or another. There maybe room in the median to set down or he may have to lower you on the cable. I need you to report on victims and if extrication is needed." I nodded my head and went out to the pad. Ace walked over to the new chopper that arrived and it looked like a sleek version of the one I flew in California. Ace looked at me and said, "Your in charge Buck, so you're the pilot." I switched on the battery and hit the starter. The engines slowly started turning and within a minute the rotors were spinning and then engines warming up nicely. I belted up and put on my helmet then got clearance for takeoff from Miami International lifting off heading for the scene. As I got out over the interstate, I could see traffic starting to get thick and heavy. We finally spotted the accident and from what I could tell there were five cars involved and at least two of them had heavy damage. I noticed a flat piece of ground in the median and decided that was where I was going to land. Ace looked at me like I'd lost my mind but I said, "I've had to land in tighter places than this Ace. This is a walk in the park." I hovered over the spot then turned the chopper so the tail was away from the roadway, landed then shut it down. I went into the back of the chopper and grabbed one of the paramedic's flight bags and walked over to inspect the carnage. Despite the physical damage I could only see some bumps and bruises. Ace was a certified EMT so he began treating those minor wounds. I walked further down and saw the fourth and fifth vehicles. These two cars were the most damaged with the fourth car being sandwiched. I called Central to give them my report and the Chief acknowledged me as well. I tried to open the doors and because the front end was really crumpled, they wouldn't open. I could see two people in there and none of them was moving. I radioed Dade Central and asked what unit was the closest to arriving on scene. I found out one of the big rescue trucks was now heading north on the southbound side of the interstate. There was a turn around area near the accident so they had a place to pull in and work. They arrived on scene and started the extrication process but I needed to get inside so I could determine the extent of their injuries. The crew managed to get the driver's side door open enough where a blanket could be put in to cover the front seat passengers. When that was done, I took my glass punch and broke out the passenger side window. I removed all the shards of glass then slid my body about half was in and checked the passengers. I felt for pulses but couldn't do it properly so I had to get my six-foot plus frame into that car. I got another blanket and covered the back seat passenger and had the crew remove the back window so I could get inside. Once that was done I went in and assessed the people inside. I crawled in and checked the driver first. I put my fingers on the carotid artery and felt for a pulse. Finding none, I took my stethoscope and tried to listen for one. I had Ace get the monitor and hooked him up to it so I could see if the was any electrical activity. Seeing none, I pronounced him Dead On Scene. The other front seat passenger wasn't breathing so I managed to lean the seat back enough and she started on her own. The back seat passenger was unconscious but breathing. I had Ace come over and assist me with triaging these two patients. I started checking the woman while Ace checked out the one in the back. I put the woman on the heart monitor and saw that while I was checking the back seat passenger, she quietly passed away. This was becoming a day I was wishing would quickly end. I heard the one in the back seat start to moan so I turned my attention there. I put a cervical collar on them then managed to log roll them onto their back. I noticed it was a boy about fifteen years of age. I began to examine him and found a fracture of the tibia and fibula. I continued checking him out (not that way people) and couldn't find much of anything else wrong with him. I stuck my head out the back window and said, "Look guys, I have a patient here that is going to need to be lifted flat and straight up out of here. The front two passengers have expired so why not just cut the damn roof off the car so we can get him out." I young firefighter most not have like what I said because he stuck his head in and said, "Hey flyboy, you take care of shit in here and we'll work out here." I turned around a little and this kid nearly shit himself. I looked at him and said, "Is that how you talk to an officer?" "Ah, ah well ah," he stammered. "No sir." "I said to cut the roof off this car now get to it," I said now totally pissed. I sent Ace to the bird to get the traction splint and backboard while started an IV. I quickly got a line established and cut his pant leg then hooked the boy to the splint. I said, "Son, I'm going to give you some medication in that tube for pain but you're still going to feel it when I tighten this splint. I need to do this so the bones won't move when we get you out of here." He nodded his head and in a weak high-pitched voice said, "Yes sir. Is it OK if I cry?" I took his hand and said, "If it will make you feel better, go ahead and cry son." I gave the boy 100mg of Demerol slowly in his IV and watched him drift off. I put the straps around his ankle then tightened the splint. The boy let out a scream and started weeping openly. I went up beside his head and said, "I'm sorry son. I didn't like having to hurt you but your leg won't get damaged any further." I consoled him then he finally stopped crying. I had Ace slide in the backboard and we log rolled the boy so I could slip it under him. I got him centered on the board then let him rest. We were waiting for the crew outside to cut the back posts off the car when the boy said, "Sir, I have a problem. I need to pee." I looked at Ace and he want back to the bird to see of we had a urinal on board. He came walking back with the little yellow plastic jug. I handed him the jug and asked him if he could do it and he shook his head no. I unzipped his zipper and fished inside for his penis. I finally found it and put it into the jug. As soon as he felt that he cut loose with the contents of his bladder. When I was trying to find this boy's tool I was acutely aware of the absence of pubic hair on the boy. I first judged him to be about fifteen. He was lying there lost in his own world and I said, "What's you name son and how old are you?" He looked at me and said, "Billy, sir. Billy Thomas and I'm thirteen." I looked at him and said, "Hi Billy, I'm Buck and that guy out there is Ace. We're helicopter pilots. As soon as we get you out of here you're going for a ride. When I first looked at you I thought you were fifteen at least. You're a big young man." He smiled at me when I said that and said, "Thanks Buck." I needed to take a piss so I had Ace come inside and stay with Billy and watch his vital signs. I slid outside and found a tree to water. I also called John and told him what was happening. I told him the next time he watches the boys, there might be an addition. I told him what I meant by that and he said, "Buck, you're a mighty big man to want to raise two sons on his own and God knows your heart is big enough, but three? Pat and I are licensed foster parents here in Miami and I can call Social Services and ask that they assign him to us. Besides, I think John might like having a brother. After he was born Pat needed a hysterectomy and he was our only child." After hearing that I said, "OK John, call Linda Eggleston there and tell her what I've told you. She will get the paperwork moving. I don't know if he will need to be admitted or not but I'll let you know as soon as I find out. I might be another hour or two before I can call you back but call Linda as soon as we hang up." I hung up and went to the chopper for the paperwork I was going to have to fill out on Billy. I sat inside the door and filled all three forms out. I wrote the deaths up as John and Jane Doe Thomas because I did know their last names. I looked up and saw the roof being lifted off the car so it was time to get back to work. I opened the back of the helicopter and rolled out the gurney and took it over to the car. I climbed back into the car then strapped Billy to the backboard and had two firefighters on the outside to pass Billy to when we had him up. Ace and I lifted Billy out then passed him over to the others then set him on the gurney. We then strapped him to the gurney then rolled him over to the helicopter. I got him a set of noise protectors and put them over his ears then rolled him into the back of the bird. I hopped in and sat beside Billy in the back and Ace closed the doors. Ace took the left seat and began to start the engines. After allowing the warm up we took off for Jackson Memorial. I called the hospital with my report and they said they would be standing by. It took seven minutes to reach the hospital and there were personnel with a gurney waiting for us as we landed. When the blades stopped turning they approached the chopper and we transferred Billy to their stretcher. We took the trip down to the first floor and we wheeled him into the trauma bay. Once in the stretcher I gave the staff my report then went outside to finish my paperwork. I told the ER attending that two DOA's would be coming in as soon as they were extricated. I finished my paperwork and went back into the trauma room to see what else, if anything was wrong with him. I was watching and listening to what was going on and it seemed that my first impression was in deed correct. After everything was done, x-ray came in to shoot his broken leg. I stepped out of the room and saw Linda Eggleston coming down the hall. We moved out of the way and she told me John called her and filled her in on what happened. She had all the papers filled out and was just there to see if he would need to be admitted. I saw x-ray leave the room and I had another few minutes before the films would be ready. I was about to go back in when I saw John and Pat coming down the hall. I looked at them and said, "Where's the boys?" John looked at me and said, "They're in the waiting room and John is beside himself at the prospect of having a brother." I walked up front and was mobbed by three boys. Robert looked at me and said, "I'm mad at Mr. Phillips Dad. He wouldn't let me call you. All I wanted to do was see how you were and tell you that I loved you." I looked at Robert and said, "Son, when Daddy is at work and on a call I don't have time to stop and talk. People are hurt and injured and they are depending on me to help make them better. When I called John, I was able to talk. My partner was watching that boy so I knew he was in good hands. I hope you understand this son." He stopped and thought about it then said, "You're right Dad, I shouldn't have acted like that." I gave all three boys hugs and kisses then went back to see how bad Billy's leg was broken. I saw the x-rays on the viewer so I went over to take a look at them. The bones were in perfect alignment and to me it looked like he was going to get away with just a cast. An orthopedic surgeon had been called to consult and was due down any minute. I walked over to Billy and said, How ya doing sport?" He looked at me and asked, "What's going to happen to me Buck?" I could tell by the question that he knew his parents were dead and he was now alone. I looked at him and said, "Well son, it looks like you'll need to go into foster care. Now before you go and get yourself all upset, hear me out. There is a couple that want very much to be your foster parents. I know these people and they are very good caring individuals who have a son your age. I think you would be getting a very good home and will have people who want you and will love you. I think that sounds like a pretty good deal, if you ask me." Billy looked surprised and said, "They really want me? Wow. Do you think it can really happen?" I looked at him and said, "Yeah kiddo, I think it can really happen." Just then a doctor I didn't recognize came into the room and started looking at the films. A couple of minutes later the trauma doctor came back in. I walked over and looked at the films with the others. The other doctor looked really surprised at how well the bones were back in alignment. Dr. Fellows looked at me and said, "This is Dr. Neff. He is an orthopedic surgeon and I've asked him to look at Billy's x-rays." I could see Dr. Neff studying each film and then he said, "I think we can get away with just a long leg cast and then keep him on bed rest for a couple of weeks until the bones start to mend. I really don't see the need to do surgery because of the job you did realigning the bones when you put him in splint traction. I'll get the stuff ready and get his cast on him." I was very pleased at the way things were turning out here. I went back outside and told everyone that Billy's leg would just need a cast. I saw Dr. Fellows come out and I asked, "Can these people go in and see him. This is Ms. Linda Eggleston with Social Services and this couple is John and Pat Phillips. They are going to be his new foster parents. Pat is registered nurse and can take care of Billy at home. They also have a twelve year-old son so Billy won't be lonely." Dr Fellows seemed quite happy for the young man. His smiled and said, "I'm glad this young man isn't going to have to spend any time in the hospital. He's been through a lot for one day and is going to need love and understanding as he comes to grips with the loss of both his parents. He realized they're gone but I don't think the full effect has totally hit him yet. Along with pain medication for his leg, I'm going to prescribe a mild tranquilizer that will help him sleep if he starts having recurring nightmares. Dr. Neff will be back in shortly to put a long leg cast on him. Buck, can you get his jeans off so he'll be ready to go?" I nodded my head then went back inside. I looked at Billy and said, "I hate to do this son but I need to strip you down to your briefs so the doctor can put a cast on your leg. I can cut the left leg off so they can be worn. Is that OK?" He smiled at me and said, "No one's going to see me in them will they?" Just as he said that Linda, John and Pat came in. Linda looked at Billy and said, "Hi Billy, I'm Linda Eggleston with Social Services. These people here are Mr. And Mrs. Phillips and they are going to be your foster parents." I was working on Billy's jeans then took the traction splint off. I reached up and undid the button and slid the zipper down. He was so moved that he really had foster parents that when I said lift, he just lifted his butt so I could slide his pants off. I covered him with the sheet when he finally said, "Are they really going to be my new parents?" Linda nodded her head and the tears began to fall. John and Pat went over to comfort their new son so Linda and I stepped out into the hall. I looked at her and said, "You realize that one way or another this child was going to have a home?" She laughed and said, "Yeah I do Buck and if the Phillips hadn't offered theirs, I know who would have." I saw Dr. Neff and a technician go into the room to start to work on Billy. I walked back up front and saw my boys. I was passing the nurse's station when I bumped into Randy. He looked at me and asked, "Hey Buck, how's Robert doing?" I was just about to answer when I was mobbed by three boys. I giggled and said, "Why don't you look for yourself?" Randy laughed saying, "It would appear the there are no lasting effects from the bites." I smiled and said, "Except for some small bruises around the bite marks no." We talked for a few minutes then I looked down the hall. I saw Billy in a wheelchair being pushed by John heading our way. They came up to us and I said, "John, this is your new brother. His name is Billy and I have a feeling he is going to really need you and your parents now more than ever." "Wow," John said. "Thanks Dad thanks Mom. You know I've wanted a brother. Hi Billy, I'm John." The made the introductions then I said, "I need to get going and fly back to the helipad. I'll pick the boys up at your house in about an hour. Shane looked at me and said, "Aw Dad, do we have to go home?" I looked at him and said, "Yes son you do. Billy needs his rest and they all need time alone to get to know each other. You can see him later in the week." I ruffled his hair then found Ace and headed back to the pad. I went over to the Phillips and checked on Billy and John insisted he share his room with him. He had a queen-size bed and Billy said, "This is so great Buck and I've always wanted a brother too. John and Pat said we could even sleep together. I think that's nice cause I know I'm going to cry soon. I really love it here and all but I'm starting to miss my Mom and Dad." "I leaned down and kissed the top of his head and said, "I know you will son and they know it. We will all be here for you especially you new Mom and Dad. If you want to talk with me for any reason, they have my number and I'll come over anytime." I got my boys and got shooed them home over much complaining then went there myself. I grabbed a beer and sat in the love seat and relaxed before heading off to bed. To be continued
