Miguel Sanchez The Pilot III Shane and Robert's Life Chapter 31 John looked up at the clock, "Look guys, I have to get over to Jess Martin's office. We can talk more when Jake and I get back." John and Jake then left and drove over to Jess' office. When they arrived, the secretary handed John some papers to fill out. When he was finished, she buzzed Jess' office. Jess came out and took the two down to his office. "Have a seat guys," Jess said walking around to his side of his desk. "Let's see what you have here." John handed him the strong box then took the key and unlocked it. Jess opened it and removed the contents and laid it out on his desk. The first thing he saw was the two stacks of savings bonds. He added them up on his adding machine then said, "The total comes to $52,450.00, give or take and it's more like give. Some of these bonds have already matured but they are still earning interest. They will continue to do so until they are cashed." The next thing Jess looked at was the trust information. He looked it over then said, "This is pretty straight forward. It seems his grandmother set up a cash trust for Jake that he can't touch until he's 25 or unless he needs the money to pay for college. I know the attorney and I can have trusteeship transferred to me since you have retained me. By the way, I hear congratulations are in order." John looked at him and said, "Yeah, Jake is mine now. His mother kept her word and the Judge granted the adoption." Jess picked up the envelope and asked, "What's this?" John looked at Jake and he just shrugged his shoulders. "I haven't a clue," Jake said. "Christine found it when she opened the box when we were at Jake's." Jess got his letter opener and opened the envelope. He pulled out several pieces of paper and started reading. After several minutes, Jess looked up and said, "Jake, you're grandmother really loved you son." "I know," Jake said. "I was her only grandchild and I really missed her after she died. What is all that?" Jess set the papers down then said, "It is a notarized affidavit stating that she has given you deed to her property." "What?" Jake asked. "That's correct son," Jess said. "I'm holding the deed of trust to a piece of property here in Miami. If my memory is correct, this place is worth some major money." "Wow," Jake said. "But her house wasn't all that big, Sir. It only had three bedrooms." "It's not the size of the house son," Jess said. "It's the location. That is a prime area and people are always looking to buy there so the houses go for big bucks." "How much is it worth Jess?" John asked. "I'm not sure," Jess said. "I would say mid six figures maybe more. I have a friend in real estate I'll call. Now, do you want to sell it or move into it?" Jake looked at John and said, "Dad, that house is smaller than ours. I remember grandma's room and it's smaller than yours and Billy's." "Well I guess that settles that," John said. "Find out what it's worth then go ahead and sell it. What about the back taxes." Jess went online and found the address. "Hummm, the taxes are current. There might be a trust that was set up to cover those until you turned either 18 or 25. I will look into that." "So how much are we looking at," Jake asked. "Well the cash trust is valued at about $75,000 which would have covered all of your college education. The bonds are worth just over $50,000. The house, and I'm just giving a very rough guess here, I would say is worth at least $500,000. All told, your estate is worth just over $625,000, providing the house doesn't sell for more." "What about taxes," John said. Jess smiled and said, "Nada, zip, zero. The value is under what is taxable. And I see here that this has already been through probate so this will be easy. I don't even think it will take long for the house to sell, once it's put up on the market. Another idea would be to rent the property as long as there is a trust that pays the taxes, the monthly rental would revert to the trust fund. It will mean much more than $100,000 in the long run." John and Jake had to sign a few more papers for Jess then they were on their way home. When they returned Jake said, "I'm a little tired Dad, I think I'm going to lie down for little bit." Jake went and rested while John joined Billy and his parents at the table. John looked at his parents, "So when will you be heading back out west?" "Our flight leaves at the end of the week," his Dad said. "That isn't much time," John said. "I better let James know so he can drive down. He would really be upset if he doesn't see you before you move out there." "Billy called him as soon as you guys headed for the lawyers office. He is already on his way." Pat said. "We really didn't think that this would be as upsetting to you as it has turned out. We're really so very sorry that it has taken this depressing turn. We've already had all the documents drawn up; all we need to do is see a lawyer. Speaking of lawyers, how did you make out?" "Now that we're over the initial shock, we do understand why you decided to move," Billy commented as he gave his Mom a kiss. "Jake will be fine financially," John said. "His trust will be worth at least $625,000 but will probably be more." "Oh that's wonderful," his mom said. "We already had these drawn up before we knew about Jake." John looked at the papers and said, "Are you sure about this? I mean will you have enough to live on?" His Dad looked at him, "Yes son, we will be fine." Billy looked at the papers, "Mom, Dad, you don't have to do this for me. I make pretty good money and I've saved quite a bit already." "Now hush that kind of talk right now William," Pat said. Billy knew she rarely called him William unless he was in trouble or she was trying to make a point. "Yes ma'am." "Your father and I have done well for ourselves over the years," Pat said looking at her sons. "We have a very tidy nest egg and we don't want others to be getting it in taxes so our lawyer said to do it this way. You boys along with James and Joey will have trust funds worth $500,000 each. James and Joey can't touch theirs until they are 25. The house will be deeded to you then you can add Billy on." John looked at his parents with wet eyes, "I just wish you weren't moving so far away. I can call Jess Martin in the morning and he can take care of that stuff for you and Dad." "That will be fine son," his Dad said. "Now here, before I forget, this is a deposit we made into yours and Billy's account for household expenses and the like." John looked at the deposit slip and said, "Dad, are you..." John suddenly got quiet knowing his parents were sure. "Don't worry guys; you will be seeing lots of us. I hope you have room for us and just remember the twins might be coming a few times too." "We have plenty of room boys," Pat started. "And we fully expected to have the twins come out." "John, these trust accounts were drawn up before we realized that you had Jake." Big John began. "We want Jake to understand that we are not slighting him in the least. We will have a similar trust drawn up for our newest grandson as soon as we get back to California." "Dad, that's generous of you to offer," John replied. "But with the potential for his trust fund to come close to three quarters of a million dollars, he will be set and Buck has already promised to pay for his education as well as Joey's." Big John looked astonished. "Well, Buck can pay for half and we'll pick up the other half. Please, son, explain to Jake that that the reason we are doing this is to make sure our grandsons begin their adult lives not having to worry where things are coming from. We already love that young man and don't want to cause him any more grief. I'm afraid we have already hurt that poor young man more than we ever intended. We want him to feel that he is as much our grandson as James and Joey." "We'll explain everything to him, Dad," Billy assured Big John. "I think it would be a good idea for you guys to try to find just a little extra time for him in the next few days. It would mean a lot to him." Big John grinned, "That is one thing we can make happen, son. Thanks for understanding. Oh, and by the way, while you and Jake were out, I made a few calls and I was able to get us two tickets for the Marlin's play off game tomorrow. I know tomorrow is a school day but I don't think him missing a day of school will hurt him. Do you?" "Wow Dad, Jake will love that" Billy exclaimed. "He's the only one of the boys that really loves baseball. I'll let you tell him when he gets up from his nap. His grades are very good but you won't have to worry about that. School is closed tomorrow." Down in Joey and Jake's room Jake was on his bed in his boxers while Joey played with his playstation. Jake was trying to rest when his dick started getting hard from not having shot in a few days. It didn't help that the hand he used was the same one in the cast and try as he might; it just wouldn't work with the other hand. He slid the casted hand into his boxers and tried carefully stroking it but the cast just irritated it. He tried switching hands but it just didn't work. "Ouch," he said softly under his breath. Joey heard this and thought his arm was bothering him. Putting the game on pause, Joey walked over to the bed then said, "What's wrong Jake?" "Nothing Joey," he said, "I'm OK." He noticed the prominent bulge in Jake's boxers and said, "What's wrong with your dickie?" Can't get the tingles?" "Nah," he said. "It's cause of the cast." "Oh," Joey said. "Can I help?" "That's OK kiddo," Jake said. "Why," Joey said. "You've helped me get the tingles lots of times. Let me help you." Jake knew he needed relief in the worst way because he balls were killing him from the times he'd started but never been able to finish. Joey sat down beside his older brother and started rubbing Jake's hard and now somewhat sore dick through his boxers. Jake closed his eyes and let out a soft moan as his little brother's hand felt wonderful. Jake looked at Joey, "I guess it will be alright if you help me." Jake lifted his butt up and slid his boxers down so Joey could have better access to his tool. "Wow Jake, your dickie is lots bigger than mine." Jake giggled at Joey's innocence then said, "Well bro, yours will get bigger too in a few years." Joey reached up and started stroking Jake's dick again sending his older brother in a moaning fit. "Oh yeah Joey, that's perfect," he said. "Oh mmmm yeah, rub the end." Joey had watched and remembered the time Jake had done it for him so he was using everything he learned. "You like bro?" Joey asked as he started to go a little faster. "Oh yeah little bro," Jake said. "I'm getting close dude." "Is sperms gonna come out?" he asked. "Oh yeah," Jake said. "Sperms will come out and soon too." Joey started going faster now as Jake's hips started bucking to his strokes. "Get ready Joey," Jake said. "Ungh bro, gonna shoot, oh yeah bro, here it comes dude." Joey kept stroking and Jake cut loose with his first blast that landed in his hair. He quickly fired another and then another until his last ones were just drooling down Joey's hand. "Wow bro," Joey said in amazement. "You sure do shoot lots of sperms. I hope I can shoot as much as you do when I'm older." Joey set Jake's softening dick down and went to the bathroom to get him a wash cloth. Joey returned with a warm wet cloth and carefully cleaned his older brother. He set the rag on the night stand then scurried beside Jake for a little cuddle. Jake kissed his head, "Thanks Joey for helping me get the tingles. I love you little brother." Joey looked up at Jake with a huge smile on his face then said, "I love you too Jake. I'll help you anytime." Joey then helped Jake get his boxers up then he snuggled close to Jake and they took a nap together. Back out in the kitchen John asked, "What about all the things in your bedroom? Are you going to have that sent out to California?" Pat looked at John and said, "We will after we go through it." Big John looked at his son, "I'm sure over half of it will end up going into the trash son." Pat turned and glared at her husband then said, "And I bet most of that will be yours John Phillips. Since you're taking Jake to the ball game tomorrow, we better start going through that stuff so it won't take forever to pack." Back at home, I had just got back from taking Jeremy to the doctors where the orthopedic surgeon put a new cast on his leg because the swelling had gone down and it had become loose. The doctor took new x-rays and said it was healing nicely and he could go into a walking cast soon and he would be in that one for another 4 to 6 weeks. I had Jeremy down on the couch so his new cast could totally dry when Pat called inviting us over for dinner. I said I needed to check when Dad called out, "Is that Pat?" I nodded my head yes then Dad continued, "Tell her we'll be there." I gave her the message then hung up. "What gives Dad?" I asked. "First off," he said. "School is closed tomorrow. The public schools were off half today. I told Pat we would be there but to call back just to confirm it." "Oh, OK Dad," I said. After Robert and Aaron got home we got cleaned up and Aaron really enjoyed getting Jeremy clean. We had to wait on them and when they came out they gave us a sheepish grin. "Thank you for joining us," I said. "Sorry Dad," Jeremy said. "Didn't mean to take so long." When we arrived at Pat and John's, we were brought into the living room there they had glasses of sparkling cider waiting for us. I was looking around wondering what I had missed then I found out. No sooner had the door closed when there was another knock. I opened the door and there was James. "Hey there lil Buck," I said hugging him as he entered. When everyone was seated Pat began, "Thank you all for coming on such short notice. We have cause for celebration as today our son became a father again." "What?" Aaron said. "Really?" Jeremy said. "Cool beans love." John stood and said, "I'm sorry for not telling anyone other than Billy but I didn't want to build your hopes up or risk it getting back to Jake." James went over to Jake and said softly, "Welcome to the family little brother." He then engulfed his new brother in a tight hug giving him a kiss on the cheek. Robert looked at John, "That's alright baby. We came close to losing the twins so we know how you feel." Pat stood up again, "This next news I know you're not going to be thrilled with. With the weather here being what it is, John and I have decided to move to California." "Whoa," I said. "Pat, you know we're going to miss you." "I know you all will," she said. "But our new home is big enough for you to visit and spend time there. And we better see you too. There are a few of you who can still fit over my knee." We all turned red faced as Billy stood and said, "Please join us as we celebrate two beginnings. We celebrate our parent's new start in California and ours with our new son Jake." We stood and drank toasts to them then had a wonderful dinner cooked by Pat. The boys went to the bedroom while the adults talked. Down in the boys' room, Jeremy and Aaron took Jake and Joey in their arms then Jeremy asked, "Are you to OK with your grandparents moving?" Joey looked up and said, "I'm gonna miss them but we will still get to see them." Jake wiped his eyes saying, "I thought this was my fault. But Granddad assured me that wasn't true. They didn't know about me being here so it was just bad timing all around" The boys continued to talk when Jeremy started trying to fix a bulge in his pants. "What's wrong Jeremy?" Joey asked. "Is your wiener hard?" Jeremy couldn't hide that fact and replied, "Yeah dude, my wiener is hard." "Do you want me to help you like I did Jake earlier?" he asked. Aaron looked at Jake as he turned red. "What," Jake asked trying not to make a big deal out of it. "He helped me cause this I can't do it with this cast." Joey quickly scooted over and was undoing Jeremy's shorts. Before Jeremy really knew what was happening Joey had them down to his cast. "Nice wiener," Joey said. As soon as the other teens saw Jeremy's erection, they began trying to adjust theirs. Even Joey had to stick his hand into his shorts. Jake leaned over and Kissed Jeremy asking, "Would you like some help with that love?" "Aww," Joey whined. Aaron picked Joey up and kissed him gently then pulled his shorts and underpants off in one move. Aaron looked down and saw Joey's dick hard as a nail. Jake had started sucking Jeremy and Joey turned his head to watch. Just then, Aaron turned him around and took his little tool into his mouth. "Oooo Aaron, that feels super," Joey moaned. "Think I could try it." "I don't know if you'll like it little dude," Aaron said smiling. "But I guess you can after I'm done giving you some major tingles." Aaron set Joey on the foot of the bed and went to town on his wiener bringing him to three earth shattering orgasm before he needed a break. "Wow Aaron," Joey said looking at the older teen. "That was the best yet. Can I try it now?" Aaron didn't know if Joey would like the taste of precum of not. He traded places with the little guy then took some precum on his finger and said, "Here Joey taste this." Joey licked his finger, made a face and said, "Yuk, that stuff tastes icky." Aaron giggled saying, "I didn't think you'd like it Joey. When we get older, we leak that first before we shoot. Come on up here and you can jack me off if you want." Joey hopped up beside his cousin and proceeded to bring him off like he did Jake earlier. Aaron looked over at his brother and he and Jake were in a modified 69 sucking each other off. Joey was getting a fine show as he brought Aaron to orgasm. Aaron came just before the other two teens so Joey was able to see them shoot into the other's mouths then swallow. "Ewww guys," Joey said making a face. "That stuff tastes yucky. How can you swallow it?" Jake looked at his little brother and said, "It's something you learn to like. It's not really that bad. It's warm and kinda sweet with a little salty taste too." The boys cleaned up then started playing video games. Back out in the living room Dad asked, "Where are you going to live?" "Gee Buck," Big John said. "I don't know if you've heard of this place or not. It's kinda small." "Oh," Dad said. "Where abouts then?" "Riverside," Pat said laughing. "Hummm," Dad said rubbing his chin, "That place sounds familiar." The 8 of us sat and talked for several hours reminiscing about the past. The main topic of talk was when we were boys the twins and Jake's age. Before we knew it, it was midnight and we were all yawning. John and I went to get Aaron and Jeremy but got a surprise when John opened the door. There curled up on Jakes bed were 4 boy's bodies intertwined and sound asleep. We quietly closed the door and went back to the dining room. I looked at Robert and said, "You should see them love, they're all on Jake's bed sound asleep." Everyone walked down the hall and looked in so they could see it for themselves, then we said good night and went home. "I can't believe they're leaving Dad," I said. "Well, I can understand why they want things quieter," he said. "They don't have the love of adventure like we do." We were all ready for bed so we gave hugs and kisses then Robert and I dragged ourselves to bed. Robert and I slept in and it was nice his alarm wasn't going off. We were back over at John and Pat's house helping them pack the things they wanted to take with them. We spent the entire day going through knick knacks and boxing them up. When we were done they had four large boxes to ship out to their new home. Big John had taken Jake to see the Marlins play in the playoff. It was do or die for them and on this day they came up short losing 4 to 3. During the game, Jake asked his Granddad about his life and what he had done. Big John told him about how he grew up and then made his living, even about raising John and Billy. As Jake listened, he learned at lot about him and his new Dads. Jake then looked at Big John and told him all what happened that fateful day when his father caught him and his friend in the bedroom fooling around and then was tossed out of his house before the hurricane. When Jake was telling his Granddad this, Big John began to cry over how his father had treated him. He scooped Jake up and held him on his lap right there at the ballpark. "Oh son," John said through flowing tears. "I never knew the whole story. I'm sorry for what you're father did. I'm really kicking myself that I didn't call because if I had, I would have known I had yet another grandson. You're a permanent part of this family and no one will ever leave you or toss you away ever again." Jake held on to his Granddad as he let his own emotions flow. "I know now you aren't moving because of me," Jake said. "I guess with everything that had happened, that was just what I was thinking." "Oh son," John said still hugging Jake. "You did have a right to feel like that. I had just assumed everything was alright back here and never bothered to see how things were." That afternoon amongst the tears and cheers, Jake and Big John got to know each other and formed a bond between Grandfather and Grandson. Pat had taken Joey out for the day too. They went to a place called Moto City. Joey got to be what ever he wanted and he wanted to be a doctor. After that, he had lunch at Chucky Cheese. The day before they were to leave, Big John and Pat took Joey, Jake and James to the Miami Seaquarium and Sew World. They spent the entire day together getting to know Jake and spend time with Joey and James. Pat and John took them to a nice restaurant for dinner and by the time they got home, even James was ready for bed. That Saturday we were all at the airport watching our best friend's parents leave and start a new chapter in their lives. As Pat and John headed towards security, the three boys started crying again. Pat and John hugged each boy tightly and said good bye. When Pat went to hug Jake he said, "Please don't go Gramma, please." When Pat heard that, she broke down in Jake's arms. Big John went to wrap his arm around her and she slapped his hand. She kissed Jake and then looking at her husband said, "Now hear this John Phillips, as soon as we close on the house and set Jake's college trust up, I'm coming back here for a month to spend time with the Grandkids and have Thanksgiving with our family. Are you coming with me?" Big John looked up and said, "Well, I guess we'll see you all in about 10 days." Jake, James and Joey were still crying as the plane was pushed away from the terminal and started its taxi over to the runway. John and Billy wrapped their arms around their boys as John said, "Easy now boys, they aren't leaving us never to be heard from again. They'll be back in about 10 days and will be here for a month. How would you like to spend Christmas out there?" James wiped his eyes and said, "That's right, they will be back. I'll be able to spend time with them after my exams before Thanksgiving." "What about the twins," Jake asked. "Can they come with us?" "They're going to have Christmas here with their family this year son," Billy said. "We will have Christmas with them before we go. We'll be back for New Years and you all can be together then." We went back home and Jeremy needed to get off his leg so he went and took a nap. It was hard knowing Pat and Big John were gone but at least they were going to be happy there and not have to worry about the storms we get here in Florida. The bright side to it was that they would be back and spending Thanksgiving here with all of us. Over the next few weeks Jeremy's leg got stronger so that he could go to school without having to use his crutches. Soon, I had him back at the doctors and watched as the cast came off and my boy had two legs again. He needed help getting out to the Yukon but he managed. Aaron was beside himself when he saw Jeremy's leg again without the fiberglass accessory. Dad started working to get his leg stronger like he did with Billy. He also worked on Jake's arm but he ended up needing physical therapy but soon both boys were back to their old selves again. Life was getting routine for both families and after Christmas Billy and Jake were to be starting at Castle Prep. When John, Billy and the kids went out to California to be with Big John and Pat, the twins at first were miserable. They had spent a week there and returned just before New Years. Right after the holidays I had a stretch where everyone in Miami was either in wrecks, seriously ill or lost as I worked 7 days straight. One night when I got home my son asked if he knew me. After I tickled him a few minutes he said he finally did. The twins' love for Jake continued to grow as there were several times we heard their love making. Billy and John added another room to their house and extended the roof line so it was on the second floor. They put a door on the bottom steps so Joey couldn't eavesdrop when they made love. John told me one evening he caught Joey trying to listen in but the extra insulation installed made that impossible. The three of them did include Joey in their activities but it wasn't an every time occurrence. As I look back on everything that has happened, it is so hard to believe that everything started out with Dad rescuing me out of the middle of a wild fire over 20 years ago. Life is, I guess, going around full circle for us after Robert and I rescued the twins and our family is under way. I rescued Jake and he was adopted by John. Robert and I watch the twins grow and I am as lucky a man as the pilot. The End
