Chapter 5

Both boys had the best sleep that they had ever had. They were so cuddled up to each other all night long, it was so loving, that they had never slept better. When they finally woke the following morning, they just stared into each others eyes for quite some time, their noses having very nearly been pressed together all night as they slept. Finally their stomachs told them both that no matter how much they were enjoying their loving embraces, that they needed breakfast and would not take no for an answer.

Without saying a word, both boys hopped out of bed. Their double thick diapers were both so full that they were nearly knocking their knees, but neither cared about that in the least, they only wanted food. They each got themselves a bowl of cereal and sat down and ate, silently, neither had yet to say anything. As soon as they were finished eating and cleaning it up, they headed to the bathroom to brush their teeth. Once fresh, they latched onto each other and kissed tenderly for several minutes.

“Mmm, good morning Baby, I had a great sleep, how 'bout you?” Yen asked.

“And good morning to you too, I slept great, better than I ever have before, but man are our diapers wet.”

“Yeah, it's great. Should we hop in the shower together?”

“Sure, or do you think we'd both fit in the bath?”

“Maybe.”

“Ever since you told me about having baths instead of showers here, I've enjoyed it a lot more. Not only do I at least get a bit of a warm bath, but it's far more relaxing.”

“Good, let's give it a shot then.”

They headed to the bathroom and Yen started the hot water, not even turning on the cold at all. The tub was not large by any stretch of the imagination, and though neither boy was anywhere near large either, it was still going to be a tight fit for them. Once the water was about half way, they stripped each other of their soggy diapers and slipped into the slightly warm water. The water rose almost to the very highest limits that it could before it would start draining through the overflow, so Yen shut off the water.

Because Dennis was the larger of the two, he had sat down first, and then Yen had climbed in and sat with his back to Dennis' front. Both boys had to have their knees pulled up, but they did fit. They both laid their heads back and relaxed for quite some time without saying anything and hardly moving any at all. When they did finally move, it was so that Yen could start washing Dennis, who had instinctively gotten up onto his knees.

Yen slowly and tenderly washed Dennis from head to toe, and then they traded places and Dennis repaid the favour. They rinsed each other off under cool water as the tub was draining, and then they hopped out and dried each other off. All this and not even one word had been spoken, yet they both felt like so much had been said. Once dried, they headed to the bedroom and diapered each other.

“That was really nice.” Dennis said, sighing deeply, his was the second diaper to be put on this time.

“Yeah, it was. I've never had such a relaxing bath before.” Yen said as he was crawling onto the bed to join his boyfriend.

Dennis turned as well so that he and Yen were laying facing each other, and they both reached in at the same time and pressed their lips together. Seconds after starting, Dennis started reaching his hand down, until he was rubbing the new bulge that had occurred in Yen's still dry diaper. Yen sighed deeply through the kiss and then reached down and started petting Dennis through his dry diaper too. Orgasm number one took only a few minutes this morning and they both spewed their loads into their diapers, thereby wetting them at the same time. They grunted and sighed as they came, yet neither stopped kissing or rubbing.

Once they came down, they inserted their hands in each others diapers, and while still kissing, this time they stroked each other properly. They lasted a couple minutes longer before cumming once more, and yet they did not stop anything, they just kept going, and then ten minutes later they came again.

Dennis extracted his hand first and licked off all the mess first, and Yen followed suit long before Dennis had finished savoring any of the precious treat. They both sighed deeply and then reattached their lips and tasted each other in that way.

“Wow, that was totally incredible.” Dennis said, glowing brighter than the sun.

“I'll say. From the moment I first saw you I knew you were something special, I was wrong, you are the only thing special, I knew I had to get to know you, I knew we'd be boyfriends.”

“Thanks.” Dennis smiled shyly.

Yen did not say anything, just pressed their lips together once more and kissed his boyfriend for a few more minutes.

“I wonder if my dad's home or not.” Yen finally said when they broke their kiss.

“Who knows. I suppose I should probably be heading home soon though.”

“If you insist.”

“I don't really wanna, that's for sure, but I do wanna spend the day with my dad too.”

“I know, same here.”

“I should get dressed and head home then.”

“Yeah, I know.” Yen said sadly.

Yen helped Dennis to get dressed, but he himself did not bother to get dressed. Once Dennis was dressed, they kissed tenderly for another few minutes, and then before too long, Dennis headed home. When he walked in, he was met by his dad, but he was not alone, he was there with another man.

“Oh, good morning.” Dennis said in shock, he had not been expecting anyone else to be there, and certainly not another man.

“Umm, good morning.” His dad blushed.

“Oh.” Dennis said in understanding.

“What?”

“That blush, it says a lot, and you look familiar, you look just like my boyfriend, just older. You're Juri, Yen's dad, aren't you?” Dennis asked, actually giggling.

He had never even suspected that his dad might be gay, and catching him with another man was a bit of a shock as well. It did not bother him in the least though of course, why would it really, in fact he thought it was great.

“Yes Dennis, Yen's my son, it's good to finally meet you, Yen's told me so much about you.” He smiled brightly, enjoying Damian's discomfort.

Damian, Dennis' dad, had never been with another man before, only because he had been too afraid to try it, though he had always felt that he was bi.

“It's good to finally meet you as well Juri, Yen's told me so much about you as well. So Dad, gay or bi?”

“Bi.” He answered softly, still blushing.

“Cool. To tell you the truth, I often got the feeling you weren't completely straight, I just sorta felt that you were gay too, but not all the time, that's cool.”

“Thanks.”

“Well, I have to go, Yen's probably wondering where I am by now, thanks for the great night Damian, it was incredible, and I certainly hope there'll be a repeat performance, maybe next time the boys want a night to themselves we can too.” Juri said, and Damian went even more red than he had been before, and both Juri and Dennis started laughing.

Juri gave Damian a kiss and then headed out. For the longest time, Damian could not even look at Dennis without blushing, but Dennis kept looking to his dad and smiling lovingly. Finally Dennis brought it up though, almost three hours later.

“So, is he your boyfriend then, or was it just for fun?”

“We haven't figured all that out yet, but we both admitted that we were looking for something more.” He said, blushing brightly once more.

“That's great Dad, you do deserve someone too, and to tell you the truth, I didn't want some hag to come and ruin everything like that last one that lived with us for a while, she was a real bitch.”

“Yeah, I know.”

“So, how long have you known you were bi then Dad?”

“Since I was thirteen, at the oldest.”

“How many guys have you been with then, because you certainly never let me see that?”

“Just one, last night was the first night.”

“Wicked, and did you lose your virginity last night then?”

Well, if Dennis thought his dad was blushing before, it was nothing to how he blushed with that question.

“You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I haven't lost mine yet, we just enjoy sucking and stuff so far, but it's so awesome. I can't wait 'til we do make love to each other though.” Dennis said, and he was not blushing at all saying this to his dad, who was still blushing enough for the both of them anyway.

“Yeah, I did, I'd dreamed of it for so long.” He said in a bare whisper.

“That's awesome.”

“Thanks. I have a question for you though.”

“What?”

“What would you think of moving again, I think I've found another job?”

“Oh Daddy, I wanna move so badly, I can't stand it here, but, well, I have Yen now, I love him , I don't know what I'd do without him.” Dennis said, already starting to cry.

“I know. What if I were to tell you though that they might be moving with us?”

“Really?”

“Yes. Yuri and I've really hit it off, last night was our first sleepover, but we really like each other, and well, I need someone, he seems to fit that spot quite nicely. You and Yen have each other, and that's great, so I thought it was only fair. It'll be several months though before we can move in all likelihood, but could be as early as the beginning of next month, which is only a couple weeks away.”

“Wow, that'd be awesome. Where to, where will you guys work?”

“That's the kicker. It's a mill, I'd be doing pretty much the same job I used to do, but it's way the fuck up north in a little town that's at least a thousand hours from nowhere I swear. I hadn't even heard of the place before it's that small. It's more a camp than anything, but it is a town and has a few amenities. As far as I know though, there are no other kids there though, that might be a problem for you boys, you'd have to home school, because with no other kids there, they don't have a school for you to go to. The worst part though is that for nearly eight months of the year you're landlocked, because the snow's too heavy to get in and out, other than by plane.”

“Wow, how does the mill operate like that then?”

“They're a specialty mill, they cut the trees that are in that area, even in the winter time 'til the snow gets too deep, then they spend the rest of winter cutting it all, then it gets shipped out once the roads open back up again.”

“Oh, okay, but Juri's a cook, not a millwright.”

“That's right, hence the reason he has a job. There's no other cooks there and they want an actual cook. They've just been taking it in turns, anyone who can cook, does, but none of them like doing it.”

“Are there no women there either then?”

“A few, but not many. From the way it sounds, these are the types of women who prefer working in a mill rather than in the house. The way the guy made it sound was that we would not be the only gay couple there, although there are straight ones as well.”

“Okay, what kinda place would we be staying in?”

“They have a bunch of log houses for everyone.”

“Good, I miss our log house almost as much as I miss the silence.”

“Me too actually. The place has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, rec room, living room, good size kitchen, pretty much everything.”

“Wow, sounds like a nice place.”

“The pictures he showed me looked nice.”

“How long have you known about this?”

“A month, at least that's when I applied for the position. Trust me, I've been looking since I lost my job. The timing just happened to work out though that Juri can come along. The owner of the mill actually asked me if I happened to know a good cook that might like to come work there as well, and I said I could think of one guy, that we'd been working together for a bit and that I really liked him. He asked me if we were a couple, I actually stuttered, and probably even blushed, even though we were talking on the phone at that time, but he said it would not be a problem, because he had several gay couples already working for him, that he himself was gay and had a partner, so it was of little concern to him if that were the case. It wasn't long after that phone call actually that I admitted to Juri what I wanted.”

“Oh, that's awesome, so, in as little as a month, we could be living in a nice place again.”

“That's right.”

They continued talking for the rest of the day nearly about the up and coming move, though they did go out shopping and picked up more diapers and some groceries, they watched TV together for a bit, but mostly they talked.

Juri got home and Yen came out to greet him as usual, and Juri told Yen the good news. They too sat and talked about it for a long time, and overall, Yen was happy about it, until he thought of something.

“Dad, I can't lose Zach and Bryce though, I just lost Jill and Jenny, I can't lose them too. I wanna do it, really I do, but not if it means leaving them.”

“Oh. Well, Bryce's mom isn't exactly a winner, nor is she helping those boys to really grow up, though they seem to be doing fairly well on their own, and I doubt she'd even notice if they were to move out. I don't think she's entirely there, the one time the boys stayed here for the weekend, I called and told her they were staying, then on Saturday night she called asking if the boys were by chance here, because she lost them again.”

“Not all there I'm afraid is kinda being kind. Bryce and Zach have had to do the grocery shopping for as long as they can remember, and after Zach's dad died, it was months before she even remembered that he was supposed to be staying there. Heck, last week Bryce was saying that she's getting worse, forgetting more and more, and one day she even asked him who he is. He's not sure if she's on drugs or if her brain's just fried or if she's actually mentally handicapped, because she's never said. Maybe she should be in a hospital or something then, and if she does, maybe the guys should live with us.”

“Do you honestly think Bryce would wanna give up on his mother like that, I for one know he loves her a great deal?”

“No, he wouldn't wanna give up on her, that's for sure, but if she's getting that bad, then she shouldn't be on her own, and certainly not raising kids. It's not fair to them either, they should just get to be kids and not have to worry about that.”

“That's very true, but you of all people know that in this hell hole, your family's all you got, so you have to stick to them through thick and thin, no matter what. No, he shouldn't abandon her, no matter what, and I certainly wouldn't wanna taker her with us, I'm certainly not gonna be responsible for her.”

“Could I talk it over with them and see what they think?”

“I suppose so, but best friends or not, I think we should take any opportunity we can to get out of this place. I've told you what I'll be paid and what all we're getting, it's a huge chance for us to finally get what we deserve, what I've always dreamed of for you. Granted, it's so far from anywhere that I don't know how that'll feel, we've always lived here, where anything we need's within walking distance.”

“I'd really like for us to get the chance finally to escape from here, but I just can't leave them alone. My friends have been all I had for so long, other than you of course, I just can't stand the thought of abandoning them. If I get the chance to move on, I'd like them with me. We all promised each other a long time ago that no matter what, we'd all crawl outta this place together.”

“I know, you kids always had a great deal of honour and duty to each other, I doubt there was a secret that you didn't know about each other, and if you made that promise, then it'd only be fair to talk to them about it.”

“Thanks Dad, I'm gonna go talk to them right now then.”

“Okay, while you're gone, I think I'm gonna go grocery shopping and I bet you need more diapers, so I'll grab them too. Was there anything else you wanted while I'm gone?”

“Okay, but no thanks, at least nothing that I can think of.”

“Okay.”

Yen went and got dressed, and they both left at the same time. Juri headed out to get their supplies, while Yen headed to Zach and Bryce's. As soon as he made it there, they all went to the boys' bedroom and sat back and talked. Yen laid it all on the line, telling them everything, even about his and Dennis' dads being boyfriends and all now. He even went so far as to tell them that he wanted them to go with them somehow.

“Yen, we'd love to, really we would, but my mom's getting bad, like real bad, she didn't know who either of us were this morning again, and I had to feed her her breakfast. Once she ate, she started to realize things again, but we can't leave her. If we were to leave, what would she do, she'd die?”

“I know, I remember you telling me all that, that she was getting worse and worse, but I think that she's getting to the point where you can't help her any more. If she gets any worse, are you capable of bathing her and feeding her all the time, should you have to. You're only a kid, you need to be a kid too. I know she's your mom and all, and that she did it for you, plus you love her, but pretty soon, there's not gonna be anything you can do to help her. She's getting to the point where she's not even gonna remember you at all any more.”

As Yen was saying this, Bryce was starting to cry and Zach just hugged him tightly.

“It's mean to say Bryce, but you're gonna have to let her go, sooner rather than later.”

“I know she's gonna need more help than I can give her, I've known it was coming for a long time, but even then, I can't abandon her, I'd still wanna go visit her in the hospital and all. No, I wish we could Yen, but we can't.” Bryce said, full on crying now. He so wanted to escape, but he could not do that to his mom, even though he knew that with as bad as she was getting, it was only a matter of weeks, if not days before she forgot who he was altogether.

“Bryce, maybe it is time you let go. I love your mom too, she's been good to me, taking me in and all, but face it, her mind's shutting down. How much longer do you think she can last?” Zach said softly.

“I know, but I can't leave her behind, just to rot in some hospital, never knowing that someone was there to love her. It'd almost be better if she'd just die, I don't wanna lose her, not after losing Jenny and Jill and all, but I don't want her to have no brain at all, I'd hate that more than dying.” He was sobbing full out now, both his friends hugged him tighter.

They hugged for several minutes until Bryce's sobs settled down.

“When was the last time she saw a doctor Bryce?”

“Couldn't tell you. She always refused to see a doctor, said there was nothing wrong. Maybe I could get her in to see one now, maybe they can tell us something.”

“Then why don't we do that Monday morning, skip school, all four of us, and take her to see someone.” Zach said.

“I'd be good with that too, even though we shouldn't be skipping school, this is more important.” Yen said.

“Okay, let's do that then.” Bryce said.

They stayed talking for more than an hour more after that, and when Yen got up to leave, they all headed out, and found that the doctors appointment was not going to be necessary. Bryce's mom was laying on the couch, the TV was on, which was not uncommon, but when all three boys saw her, they knew something was wrong. She was normally pale, from rarely leaving the apartment, but she was far worse than normal, and they could see that she was not breathing. Bryce stepped forward, he knew he had to, the other two stayed behind.

“Oh Mom, you probably went and died right when I said it would be best for you to too.” He said while gently laying his hand on her forehead to be sure.

He was certain, she was nearly ice cold, and he unblinking eyes were blank. He gently closed her eyes as silent tears streaked down.

“I hope you're in a better place now Mom, you deserve it, thanks for doing the best you were able to.” He sniffed and turned to the others.

“I better make the call. Yen, please ask your dad to take us in, but you should probably go home otherwise.” He said.

“Give me a hug first though.” Yen said, his tears flowing gently as well, just like the other twos were.

All three of them ended up in a three way hug and hugged for almost ten minutes. When they finally broke apart, they all wiped their tears away and Yen headed out. As soon as he was gone, Bryce called the police and told them what had happened, while Yen went home and told his dad what had happened. Juri was understandably shocked at what had happened, but admitted that he had been surprised that she had lasted as long as she had.

Yen and Juri sat back and talked for quite a while, until Yen felt that he should probably go and talk to Dennis, so went and changed his very wet diaper and headed out. Dennis and his dad had just been sitting there watching TV, relaxing for the night, it was just after dinner, and they were surprised to hear the knock at the door. Jim got up to answer it, while Dennis pulled a blanket over himself to hide the fact that he was only in a diaper. As soon as Jim opened the door though and revealed that it was Yen, Dennis hopped up to greet his boyfriend. He made the few steps to where Yen was and they kissed for a few seconds and then broke apart.

“Hi there, I thought you'd be spending the whole day with your dad. Did he tell you the news yet?”

“I was, and yeah, he did, which is why I'm here. We better go sit down.”

“Oh. You're not gonna move, are you?” Dennis said, almost starting to cry already.

“Let's just go sit down, we have a bit to discuss.”

They did go sit down, joining Jim, who had already sat. As soon as they did, Yen got started. He told them everything that had happened that day and how he felt about it all. He admitted that at first he did not want to go, because of Bryce and Zach, so went and talked to them, who of course admitted they could not leave because of Bryce's mom. Dennis had never even seen Bryce's mom, so he was not exactly saddened to hear that she had died, though he felt bad for his friends. They ended up sitting there for well over an hour with Yen speaking, the other two hardly saying a thing.

“I wish that I could say that I was sorry for Bryce's mom, but with having never met her, and with hearing how sick she was, it almost sounds like it should come as a relief to everyone. So, if your dad's able to take them, would they be willing to move with us then?”

“It is a relief really. She was pretty sick, but even Bryce has no idea how so or anything, she'd never say, and when asked how she was sick, she'd always say she wasn't sick, so yeah. It's even a relief for him, because he was worried how he was gonna be able to continue caring for her, and he knew she was gonna have to go to a hospital or something soon.”

“It's weird though how everything happened like that all at the same time. Almost as if it were supposed to be or something.” Dennis said.

“I know, it is a bit on the strange side, and it's almost as if she died at the very same time that we were talking about it, saying how it'd really be better for her if she would, so that she could rest. My only fear though is what are the social services gonna allow, because my dad doesn't exactly make a lot of money, and we only have two bedrooms. Then again, when Zach moved in with Bryce, the social worker came and left in under two minutes, he didn't interview anyone or anything, just found out Bryce's mom wanted to take him and that was good enough. He wanted outta here as soon as humanly possible, so maybe we'll get lucky and the same thing'll happen again.”

“Social services certainly isn't supposed to do that, and to tell you the truth, even if she wasn't as bad then as she is now, and from the sounds of it she was sick even then, they probably shouldn't have placed Zach with her. I suppose though that in the slums, anything goes, as long as decent folk don't have to spend any time here.” Jim said sadly.

“That's very true, and I've seen that since I was little here. No one wants to be here, and the ones that do wanna be here, they're truly low life scum. Any respectable person wants to get outta here so bad it hurts, but the sad fact is that so very few ever do leave, that's why my friends and I stick together so much, work so hard in school, we're a team, and we'll all get out together, or not at all.” Yen said.

“Well, maybe you'll all get the chance very soon then. If all goes well at any rate, it could be very soon. I know Dennis very much wants you to come with us, no matter what.”

“I do.”

“You're not getting married, you don't get to say I do yet.” Jim teased.

“Oh ha ha, very funny. Besides, if we wanted to, we could now, it's legal here remember.”

“Except you're not old enough.”

“True.” Dennis laughed.

“You guys are strange.” Yen giggled.

“Thanks.” They both said.

“Well, I should probably be heading home, I'm getting tired, it was a long day.”

“Same here and I'm probably gonna change my diaper and head to bed soon.”

“Okay, have a good night then.” Yen said and they kissed each other and then he was gone.

Dennis said goodnight to his dad and headed to bed, changing himself of course. Yen got home and talked to his dad for a bit and then headed to bed as well. Both boys slept well, both wondering how it went for Bryce and Zach.

Sunday morning when Yen woke up, he was worried, because no one came knocking during the night, asking for the boys to stay. He went and ate breakfast with his dad, but he was distracted and hardly said a word. They sat and watched TV for most of the morning, though Yen was watching the door more than anything. It was almost three in the afternoon before anyone knocked on the door. Yen was dressed, so he hopped up and opened it before the person even lowered their hand from the first knock. It was a man in a ratty suit and ugly tie, and behind him were Zach and Bryce.

“Um, hello.” The man said in shock.

“Finally, you're here.” Yen said, very nearly pushing the man aside.

“How'd you know they'd be coming?” He asked in shock.

“Easy, I was there when their mom died yesterday, I told them we'd take them in and my dad agreed right away. What took you so long?”

“It's not as simple as all that. May I come in?”

Juri had just been sitting on the couch, trying not to laugh at the surprised look on the poor mans face.

“I guess so, come on in guys, where's all your stuff?”

“He wouldn't let us pack it up yet, but it's not like it's all that far away.” Zach said.

“Oh. Oh well.”

They all went and sat down, and as soon as they were comfortable, the man started.

“Well, I guess you know then what's been happening, so that makes it easier. My name's Bob, and I was asked by social services to look after the case.”

“Yes, we know all that's been happening, and yes, I've agreed to take the boys in, so that they can all stay together. These three boys, as well as one other, who isn't here right now, are all best friends, and they vowed to stay together, no matter what.”

“Okay, that's nice, but there's a problem with that. How many bedrooms do you have and do you have the means necessary to raise the boys?”

“Currently we only have two bedrooms, I have one and Yen has the other, but the boys usually share anyway when they sleep over at each others houses. Zach and Bryce have also slept together every night since Zach moved in with Bryce, and that was never a problem before.”

“Yeah, only because we seem to have no records of him actually being placed in Bryce's moms care.”

“Ah, I see. Not so surprising. The social worker didn't wanna be here even more than you clearly don't wanna be. It doesn't surprise me that he didn't do proper paper work, to avoid having to come back here. We know, this place is the deepest pit of hell, and no one in their right minds wants to be here, and we see how uncomfortable you are here too. That's okay, we're used to that from rich people like you.”

“Rich, I wish!” He snorted.

“Trust me, from our perspective, you're rich.” Juri said flatly.

“Right, I suppose that might be true, I apologize. The fact of the matter is though that I cannot leave the boys in your care, I've spent the better part of the day trying to tell them that, that they were going to have to move and that I was going to place them into foster homes. They refused and demanded we at least come speak to you, and removed to move a muscle until then.”

“Foster homes, as in two?” Juri asked dangerously.

“Yes.”

“Are you a cold hearted asshole?”

“Pardon me?”

“You heard me. You'd split these two boys up after all they've been through, they're like brothers, and they're boyfriends too, I'm sure they told you that. You may not split them up, and I will fight that to my last breath.”

“If they were related, then it'd be different, but our guidelines say we must not place children who are sexually active with each other, it's against the rules.”

“Well, I say fuck your rules, we're in the slums, I think you've realized by now that rules don't apply here. Now, the boys are staying here, they will not be going to live in two separate homes, you are going to sign off on the fact that I am adopting them, and if you speak one more word otherwise, you will not like me very much. Now, before you say anything further, we won't be living here much longer, we're moving, I've found a good job that comes with a house far larger than I'll ever need, so the boys will have a great place to live. It's several hours north of here, so you'll never have to see them again. You can just do as the previous worker did and wash your hands of this, and I keep the boys, or you can move to have me formally adopt them, whichever you wish.”

“Are you threatening me?”

“No, I'm promising you that if you go against the boys' wishes and separate them, you will be fighting a losing battle. The boys will fight you, and I guarantee that they'll fight you in a far more mean form than I will. Then there's me. I may come from a slum, I may not be overly smart or have lots of money, but I will do everything in my power to make sure you end up living in this slum as well. You'll be broke and broken.” Juri said dangerously.

“What could you do to me?”

“Oh, I know how things work, the boys and I could call the cops and tell them that you've been asking them for sexual favors to get what they want, and that furthermore, you've been known to come to this area to get sex from several young boys. We'd also be more than happy to find several other boys to say the same thing. Trust me, it happens here all the time, there's many kids that are introduced to sex by the time they're five in this hell hole to help pay for peoples addictions, people just like you will come here for just such a thing, we see it happen all the time, but if you think you can escape such a thing unscathed, try us, I dare you.”

“That's blackmail.” He gasped, knowing full well that even an accusation of that nature could easily ruin him.

“Yes, yes it is. Trust me, I will do it if you even dream of harming one hair on those boys' heads.”

“I don't plan to harm them, I plan to help them.” He gasped.

“And breaking up two lovers isn't harming them. Tearing them away from each other when they're all each other has, that's not harming them. You're truly dense if you believe that splitting them up wouldn't do them harm.”

“But, they're too young to be in love.”

“Oh god, you're one of those idiots who doesn't think kids can know love, you really are an idiot. Trust me, not only can kids know love, but in a slum like this, you embrace that love, because it may not last long here. The boys just lost two of their best friends not long ago because they were murdered, life isn't guaranteed at the best of times, here's even less of a guarantee.”

“Fine, you win, I'll push it through for adoption, but you'll get nothing from the ministry of children.”

“Like we want your blood money anyway.”

“Excuse me?”

“You know what I mean. Anyone who would willingly split up two kids aren't in it to help the kids, which means you're no good to kids, so therefore any money you do give people is blood money. Now, please leave, mail me the papers, do not come back, or else.” Juri smiled serenely.

He got up and left, and that was the last they ever saw of Bob the social worker.

“Well, that went well.” Juri laughed.

“Wow, we get to stay living with you, and we're gonna get to move outta this hell hole?” Bryce said in shock.

“Yes.” Yen and Juri said at the same time.

Both boys broke down in tears and Yen and Juri grabbed them up in a group hug and they stood there for quite a while. Finally Juri pushed them all apart.

“Come on boys, let's go get all your things, as well as pack up anything else that you care to bring, oh and any food in your place as well, 'cause to tell you quite honestly, 'til I actually start this new job, I may not be able to afford to feed you.”

“I have my moms bank card, she still had several hundred dollars in the account. Plus she always had cash, I'll give it all to you to help out, since you won't be getting any money to feed us.”

“I hate to take it, but I appreciate it. Maybe we should hit the bank right away and withdraw it, so that it doesn't end up disappearing as soon as the bank finds out your mom died.”

“Okay, why don't we go to my place then and us boys will start that and you can run down there right now.”

“Okay, sounds good.”

So that was what they did. They went to Bryce and Zach's and Bryce grabbed the bank card and told Juri the code for the account, and as soon as he had it, he headed out. The boys started gathering all the clothes and the few personal belongings, as well as all the diapers that the boys had grabbed from the school, since they were told they were allowed to, and they had been taking advantage of that. They threw it all into a couple duffel bags and a garbage bag and took it to their new apartment. They then went back with a couple laundry baskets and started grabbing all the food. This only took one and a half trips to do, since there was simply not lots. The other half that trip though was used to grab the few other things that they wanted to keep, and with that, they were done. Juri was just walking in as the boys were walking in with the last of their things.

“Did you get everything then boys?”

“We sure did. We also counted almost two hundred in cash, my mom had it hidden in several places, I just hope we found them all. How much was left in the account?” Bryce asked.

“Just over five hundred. Not sure how she had that much money saved, usually I'm happy if I have an extra twenty bucks at the end of the month.”

“Not sure, then again not sure I wanna know how she earned it either. There was a lot we didn't know about my mom, a lot she wouldn't tell us.”

“Yeah, well there's secrets everywhere you look, being dirt poor doesn't change that, and she had her reasons I'm sure.” Juri said.

“True. Well, I don't know about you guys, but it's been an incredibly long day, and I could really stand to go to bed.” Bryce said, clarifying it with a yawn.

“Okay, you boys take my bed, I'll sleep with Yen 'til we move, I'm sure he won't mind.”

“Nope, not at all.” Yen said.

“Thanks.” Both boys said.

They all headed to bed and the boys all changed their diapers, and then before too long, they were all sound asleep. They all slept surprisingly well considering the day that they had had. It probably should not have come as too much of a surprise to any of them when they all slept in, but by the time they woke up, the boys had only five minutes to be at school.
