Sorry, about the SLOWNESS of this story, but real life interferes with all authors. I hope this story will be updated regularly. Merry Christmas, all. Now Chapter 5... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- We peed and we brushed our teeth, then we cuddled in bed and fell asleep. Clint was asleep, so I looked at his nude body, then snuggled against him. Soon I was asleep. In the morning, it was Christmas, so I looked at Clint and kissed him. "Wake up, Clint. I guess it was time to see if your mom is awake. I hope we can get on the road and get home." I put on my boxer-briefs and the pants I had on yesterday. Clint looked around and said, "Morning daddy! I slept nicely last night. Did you?" I heard a knock on the door, so I mouthed, 'Put on your underwear, buddy. I think your mom's at the door.' Clint put on his briefs, the he got up and messed up the other bed, and put on his jeans, so I opened the door and saw Francis standing there. "Good morning, Francis," I said. "I hope you had a nice sleep. Clint was a great guest. I was seeing if the roads are passable. I hope we can get to our house today. I know I don't have presents for any of you, but I'd love for you to have dinner at my house." Clint was at my side, so I put my arm around him and he looked up at me and said, "Morning mom." Francis said, "Yes. We had a nice night. Clint hates that we talk about girl things and I wish his dad would have done more, but I married a boy." She looked at Clint and said, "Now, who are you and what did you do to my son?" Francis looked at me and smiled. Clint looked at me, then at his mom, and said, "Moooommm. I had a great night's sleep." Francis said, "May I speak to Doug alone, honey?" She looked at Clint as he said, "Bye Doug. Merry Christmas!" As he went to the other room, Francis said, "I think Clint looks up to you, Doug. You were patient with him last night, asking about football." I said, "Thank you, Francis. I've learned that adults should listen to kids questions and talk to them the way you want to be treated. He asked questions and I answered them." Francis said, "Jill said that Clint was being polite, even more polite than usual last night at Applebee's. As I think he wants you to talk about guy stuff and I hope you'd be a friend to him." "I know. He was asking me why his dad hates him," I said. "As I said to Clint when he was crying that his dad is a jerk. Clint asked me why his dad hates him. I told him that I wasn't sure, but if he hated a wonderful boy, he has hate in his heart." Francis looked at me and said, "Sorry, but your husband sounds like a jerk!" Laughing, Francis said, "As I said at Applebee's, Clint's dad never really cared about Clint. He wanted me to abort him, but Clint shouldn't be aborted because he was an accident. I know he thinks he caused his dad to leave, but we had problems for 5 years before we divorced. I just think Clint would love you as a mentor." I said, "To me, your daughters need a male influence, too. I hope I can take Clint camping, and I hope Clint's friends from Durham can visit him. He misses them. I did tell him that he will make a few friends, and I might introduce him to 3 friends." I didn't tell Francis they were cute boys, too. They oozes sexiness, too. Francis smiled and said, "He would love that, Doug. He thinks his friends will miss him, but I told him he will make friends. I did tell him his friends could visit him in the summer." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Author's Note: To all who celebrates Christmas, hope you will enjoy it.
