Let me go!" the kid was howling as his aunt dragged him toward the house. "I don't want to learn to play the violin! I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!" "That's him." I said to Chet. "That's our ticket. That's the kid who knows where the treasure is." "And you think he's going to come with us, Jimmy?" Chet was dubious. "Come with us?" I smiled. "He's going to run away all by his ownself. We'll just give him help and a place to run to." "You think so?" "I watched him yesterday." I said. "Come on, we got to go around back." Chet followed me to the back of the house. Like most of the houses in this small town, the forest came up to only a few feet of their back door. "That tree right over there." I pointed. "He'll come skinnying down it any second now." I headed us toward it. "But it's nearly twenty feet from the back of the house!" Chet pointed out. "The kid can climb like a monkey" I said. "Just watch." Just then, the kid came sliding down the trunk of the tree I had indicated. "Hey, kid!" I called out. He crouched, turned. "Who are you?" A small shock of black hair and the skin white, so white it was hard to believe he had an Indian mother. Maybe seven or eight years old, he wore only a pair of filthy dirty jeans, his chest was smooth as silk and looked soft as a kitten's fur. Pretty little feller, that was my thought, and shook my head, brought a smile to my lips. "Just a couple of guys looking for adventure. How about you?" I said. "Adventure?" the kid caught the word like I intended. "What kind of adventure?" "We're going to go live in the hills up yonder." I pointed. "I figure we'll play games all day, like Cowboys and Indians and Pirates and fight big battles with sticks and search for buried treasure and such." "Yeah?" the kid chewed on this. "Can I go with you?" "You ready for adventure?" "Yeah!" the kid said. "I can play an Indian better'n anybody! I am part Indian! You can be the cowboys!" "What do you think, Chet?" I asked my partner. "We could use another partner." Chet said. "For our games." "Then come on, kid." I told him. "You come with us and we'll play with you any way you want us to. We got us some adventures to have, out in the wild yonder!" "Yeah!" I put the kid up on behind me on my horse, and he held on tight. I had him keep quiet until we got out of town, then I said, "Okay, kid, our adventure has begun!" "Don't call me kid!" was his first order. "My name is Wild Hawk! I am an Indian warrior!" And he let out a warrior whoop that carried a hell of a long ways off and I had to chuckle. This kid was a regular hellion, all right. "Shit, he's going to get us caught!" Chet complained. He was beside me, he dropped back and grabbed the whooping kid off the back of my saddle and held him squirming around on his saddle. We had to get this kid's trust, wild as he was. You see, he knew the location of a treasure! An honest to God, lots of loot, buried treasure. He was keeping its location secret, dipping into it and spending money around town. That was all we knew, and, as a pair of accomplished grifters, con men on the prowl to cheat men of their money, all we needed to know; the kid had access to an unknown amount of silver dollar pieces, there were plenty more where those he had came from, and Chet and I intended to get him to show us where he kept it. Which meant that we first had to get him away from his aunt, and then make him into our friend enough that he'd show us where the money was kept. "Ah, shit!" Chet yelped, interrupting my reverie. "The kid's done bit my finger!" "Let me go, let me go!" the kid shrieked. I didn't see just what he did next, but Chet's words left no doubt about the consequences. "Yah! He's got my knackers!" And the kid was sliding off Chet's horse and he got off and onto a log that was lying on the ground, then gave a leap that would have done anybody proud and he was right back on the back of my horse again. "Good jump, kid!" I praised him. "Ah, damn, my knackers!" Chet moaned. "Ah, damn, damn, damn!" "You don't mess with Wild Hawk!" the kid said. "Yeah, you don't mess with Wild Hawk." I said. "But we got to keep our voices down until we get well away from town. Otherwise, your aunt is going to be after you in no time." "I'm Wild Hawk!" the kid said to me, but his voice was lower. "She comes after me, I'll scalp her!" "Okay, you can scalp her if she comes after us." I said. "But let's ride quiet just a little bit longer, okay?" That promise of mayhem kept him quiet for a while longer, then he said, "When are we going to play Cowboys and Indians? I want to scalp him." and he pointed at Chet. Chet had a sore crotch and his response was terror. "What you want to scalp me for?" He asked. "^ÑCause I'm an Indian and you're a cowboy." the kid said. And he let out another war whoop. This one didn't sound quite as fun-loving as the last one, it had something in it that made me think maybe I should sleep with one eye open tonight! Well, the kid jumped off my horse the moment we got to our camp and said, "I'm Wild Hawk! All white men must die!" and he was running off into the bushes around the camp. "Jimmy?" Chet said. "Do we gotta play with this kid? I don't want to get scalped by him!" "Come on, he's just a kid!" I scoffed. "What's he going to do to us. Now come on, let's play cowboy and Indians with the kid." So I put my hands with my forefingers out, in the shape of guns and I went hunting for Indians. I got as far as the first set of bushes in the direction where the kid had run and I felt a sharp pain in my butt! "Yow!" I shouted out. The kid had somehow laid his hand on a sharpened stick in the couple of minutes we had been apart, and he had just jabbed me in the ass! "Die, white man, die!" the kid yelled. Only my dodging quickly kept me from getting my ass poked again, and I was turning around and I had one hand on my ass (was that blood?) And the other I tried to plug the little savage, but he had gone again. "Chet! Chet! Get yore hide out here and help me catch this Indian!" I said. "I don't want to play this!" Chet said. I guess the kid had gotten him harder than I'd thought. "Come on, he's just a kid!" I said. "He's no kid!" Chet said. "He's a devil, I tell you! Something in that yell he makes, it chills me right through!" And that kid's yell sounded. He wasn't close now. He was out in the woods a way. "Come on, Chet, we have to go after him." I said. "You don't want him getting bored and going back home now, do you?" Chet moaned, but he came with me as we hunted for the kid. I heard Chet give out a cry as he fell and I turned to see him on the ground, the kid on top of him, and I saw with horror that the kid now had a tomahawk and was about to bash Chet's brains in! I yelled out, "Hey, kid, don't! Stop!" The kid whapped Chet on the head, a scary-sounding bonk and then I got to him and I yanked it out of his hand. Chet had both hands over his head now, and he was moaning and cussing at the same time, making a sort of "guhh-huhna-neh-hunh-guh!" sound out of the mixture, and I said, "Now, kid, you have to play nice if we're going to play with you." "My name is Wild Hawk! Give me back my tomahawk!" was his only reply as he tromped on my foot, hard! I was screaming and hopping on one foot, and he was gone along with his tomahawk. Again, Chet and I heard that war-whoop starting in from the bushes. "I am Wild Hawk! All white men must die!" Chet came over, rubbing the lump on his head. "Jimmy? "Yeah, Chet?" "What the hell we going to do now?" "We got to keep playing with him until he gets tired." I said. "Then maybe he'll be ready to talk." "Oh, sweet Jesus!" was Chet's only reply. And we set out to hunt Indians again, with all the enthusiasm I reckon we would have when we had to climb the gallows for our hanging. If we lived that long. I'll spare you the rest of the details of that long, hard first day. I was limping bad by the time the kid decided he'd had enough. I had bruises on several parts of my body. Chet was in whimpering terror, the kid had gotten to him far worse than me. But the kid was now over by the fire, and had broken into our store of meat and had some of it hanging on spits over the fire. Not my idea of how to cook, but it would work well enough, and I was too tired to fuss. "You making us supper, Wild Hawk?" I asked him. "Sure, white men, sit at my fire. We'll eat before I scalp you." Chet began to shiver and he whispered to me. "Jimmy...I can't stand it any longer. You got to get the location of his treasure out of him tonight. I can't play with this kid any longer, he ain't a kid, he's a demon, I tell you!" "He's got to be tired out." I said. "We'll try him when he's done eating and see if he'll talk to us." After dinner, the kid was yawning. He came over to me and said, "Can I lay my bedroll out next to yours?" "Sure, Wild Hawk." I said. "Us cowboys and Indians ought to get along. No reason to be fighting a lot, you know." "Yeah." He said, yawned again. "We have to treasure these times we have together." I said cunningly. "Yeah." The kid snuggled up next to me. "I hear you have a treasure." I said. "People in town tell me you pull out money, silver dollars, and they ask you how you got it, they say you tell them you got a treasure hidden away." "Uh-huh." "A fellow having a hidden treasure sure is lucky." I said. "Uh-huh." this was almost a mumble. "I sure would like to see that treasure." I said. Only a grunt from the kid now. "Would you be willing to show me and Chet where you keep your hidden treasure?" I asked him. No answer. "Wild Hawk? Kid?" He was asleep. Damn, he looked like a little angel while he was asleep. I managed to slip him out of his clothes and into his bedroll without waking him. Done with that, I got undressed and slipped into my own bedding. Sore and stiff and tired as I was, I went right on to sleep. I wasn't sure at first what woke me up in the middle of the night. I didn't hear nothing. Then I realized that the kid had crawled into my bed with me and had snuggled up to me. "Hey, cowboy." came his soft whisper. "You awake?" "What is it, Wild Hawk?" "Nothing." came his answer. "Just wondering." "Go back to sleep." I said. His arm came over to rest on my chest and his leg up over mine, and I just chuckled softly. So the bad warrior who had terrorized us all day had a sweet side to him, too, did he? His hand rubbed over my chest and I reached up and ran my fingers through the hair on his head. His hand rubbed over my stomach and it felt soft and warm and small and inoffensive as a kitten walking on your stomach while you slept. Who could be afraid of a kitten? But Chet was so terrified of this kid, he was ready to give up the search for his treasure, this little kid who was now snuggled up to me and rubbing his hand over my lower stomach and it was so warm as he stroked the hairs of my pubic patch above my cock and I kept my hand in the kid's hair and I clenched my fingers and relaxed again, rubbing his scalp like that, this vicious Indian warrior who would whoop and yell and was damned clever about ambushing his two hapless adult playmates and.... "Uhhh!" I grunted as the kid's hand cupped my cock. It was stiff, not the sort of stiff where you notice it, but the way it gets hard sometimes when you sleep and you only notice when you move, and it soon goes back down. Only this cock didn't wilt away at the kid's touch, he grabbed hold of me and he began to pump his hand up and down like he had done it all his life! "Uuhhh! Ahhhh! Kid! I mean, Wild Hawk!" I gasped out. "You said you'd play with me all I wanted, anything I wanted to do." Wild Hawk said. "So we're playing." "Yeah, but.... I didn't mean.... Ah, shit!" I gasped. My cock had been powerful neglected these past few weeks. No money for the girls, no time out on the range, no privacy when I did feel my juices rising. I hadn't stroked my pud for days and days and now, it was writhing under this kid's grip, as he pounded my cock in a way that had me moaning, had me gritting my teeth, had me...wondering. "How'd you learn to pump a man's tool for him, Wild Hawk?" I asked him. "Lots of guys." Wild Hawk said and I could hear the shrug in his voice there in the darkness of a cloud-covered moonless night. "Back when it was just pa and me and the other miners at the silver mine, there weren't no girls about. So the men would come over and get friendly with me, soon enough, I learned they was wanting me to play with them like this. They all liked it. Do you like it?" "Uhhh! Yeah, kid, I like it a lot." I couldn't deny that, my cock was singing too happy. "Oh, man, yeah!" I wasn't going to last a heck of a lot longer. "Did you do anything else with those other guys?" I got out. All I was doing was asking, honest, I didn't mean it the way this kid took it. "Oh, yeah." the kid said. "They also taught me how to do this!" And the kid dove under the covers and his pretty, soft mouth caught hold of my cock and he started milking me like a prize cow at a milking contest. I was so damned hot already, I didn't last two minutes under that loving suction, I grunted, and I said, "Kid, I hope you know what's going to happen next!" and I was lucky to get that much out, for I began to grunt and moan and I creamed a hell of a big load right into that kid's sucking mouth. He gulped it down like any whore I'd ever rented for the hour, I filled this kid's mouth with a huge, hot load of my jizz and he drank it like it was so much sarsparilla. When I was done, panting as softly as I could (Chet was asleep a little ways away, after all), I hissed out hoarsely, "Ah, damn, kid, you are one fine cocksucker! Oh, hell!" "Yeah." the kid giggled. "Can we play some more games tomorrow?" "Anything you want to, kid." I promised him. "Anything you want to." And he giggled some more and he snuggled up tight to me and I went on back to sleep. The next morning, the kid was gone. I looked around the camp along with Chet, but there was no sight of Wild Hawk anywheres. "He got away from us and went back home!" was Chet's opinion. "He's going to be bringing the law up here on us! He'll get us both sent to prison for kidnapping!" he yammered like a virgin on her wedding night. "Now hang on, Chet." I said. "We're jumping to conclusions. I promised the kid we'd play some more games today, and maybe he's just out there waiting for us to play with him." "So where is he?" Chet asked. "Where's that bone-chilling Indian holler he's got? He's gone back home, I tell you." "So what do you want to do?" I asked him. "Clear out of here." Chet said. "Right now. We got a little money on us, we can make it to the next town. We can get a job there, I'm willing to work a while afore I face that kid again. You won't have to work, Jimmy, I'll make us a stake...." "Maybe the kid did go back to town." I sighed. "Well, we have to find out. If we're going to clear out, we need to know if the kid's going to send the law after us or not." "What are we going to do?" "You wait here for me." I said. "Pack up our camp. I'll go back to town and see what I can find out about the kid. Then we'll know whether we got to cut and run, or if we can take our time about leaving." "What if the kid gets there before you?" Chet said. "There's only one path back to town." I pointed out. "The kid will be on the trail still if he's heading that way. You need to be here in case he's sticking around waiting to play again." Chet shivered at that, but he didn't want to ride into town with me, either, so I left him packing up the camp and rode into town. I didn't see the kid along the way and with some trepidation, I approached the kid's house. The aunt was outside tending to her garden, and she looked up as I rode to her front fence. "Howdy." I said by way of introduction. "Howdy." "I'm looking for that kid you got living with you." I said. "You know where he is?" "Out and around somewhere." she said. "I can't control him. Nobody can, he's wild as they come. I've gone looking for him so often, I've decided this time, he can come home when he's ready. When he does, I'm shipping him off to live with my brother back East. Let him take care of the little heathen for a while." And with that, she bent back to her weeding the garden. I considered that for a time and I said, "Well, thank you kindly, ma'am." So the kid wasn't back home yet, and she wouldn't worry if he wasn't. Chet and me could keep this kid a few more days without any problem. Plenty of time to make friends with the kid, and learn where he got all those silver dollars he'd been spending around town. It was the afternoon before I made it back to the camp. When I did, my eyes darned near popped out at what I saw. The kid had Chet tied to a tree, his shirt open and his pants down around his ankles, and the kid was busy pumping Chet's dick for him. Chet was whimpering like mad and as I got off my horse and got closer, Chet moaned and shot a wad right out over the kid's flailing arm. "Jimmy? Jimmy, that you? You got to help me, please!" Chet moaned. The kid turned around, and he was playing Indian again, I saw the red marks on his face and the feather in his hair. Where did the kid come up with all this stuff? It was like he had a village of Indians nearby helping him out! "All white men must die!" he yelped. "Wild Hawk has you prisoner!" "He caught me with my pants down in the bushes." moaned Chet. " I come to and I was tied to this tree. He's been yanking my willy ever since. I shot three, four times now, and I can't do it no more, I can't do it!" "Talk to Wild Hawk or I'll torture you some more!" Wild Hawk demanded. "Okay, I'll talk, I'll talk!" Chet groaned. "Me and Jimmy were after your treasure." "My treasure?" the kid stepped back, stonkered. "You got that treasure and me and Jimmy want it." Chet said. "That's why we brought you up here. Get you to show us where the treasure is." Wild Hawk looked at me and I said, abashed, "Hey, kid...." "You just wanted my treasure?" Wild Hawk said. What could I say to that. "I'm sorry, kid." I said. "We didn't mean to hurt you, not really. But all that talk of treasure was too much for us." And the kid turned and ran off into the bushes. I think he was crying. "I'm sorry, Wild Hawk!" I called after him. "I'm sorry!" I got Chet untied and Chet was nattering away. "I told you this kid was nothing but trouble, I told you, Jimmy." "Yeah, you told me." I said bitterly. "Just like you told him." "Hey, you have your willy pumped over and over for six hours and see what you do." Chet said. "Maybe," I said. "But it was hard on the kid. He lost his folks and got an aunt that doesn't want him and no other kids in town to play with. How else is he supposed to act?" "Well." Chet said. "We should head out tomorrow, I reckon, bright and early. Need daylight to make it through these hills." "Sure." I said. "Tomorrow." I didn't have a whole lot to say to Chet the rest of that day. Nor to myself, neither. Chet and me had run a powerful lot of scams in our day, taking money any way we could get it. And for the first time...I was ashamed of myself for doing it. Maybe I was finally developing a conscience, as my mother would have said. She had died when I was eight, about the age of Wild Hawk. And I'd been alone, same as Wild Hawk. Near nightfall, the kid showed up again. He was clean, no paint, no feathers, just a plain kid. "Here you go." he said and dropped the bag at his feet. It was the kind of bag banks use to transport money, made of heavy canvass, and when it landed, it made a hard, clinking sound. "Here's the treasure you wanted. Take it." Chet started and I grabbed his arm, held him back. "No, kid. We don't want your treasure no more." "The hell we don't." was Chet's remark. "Chet...leave it be." I said. "Keep your treasure, kid. It's yours. And I'm sorry, powerful sorry, we ever tried to take it from you." The kid watched us and when he saw I was serious, he picked up the bag and lugged it back into the bush. "Now what the hell did you do that for?" Chet demanded. "He was going to give us the money and you told him to keep it? He's just a darned kid spending that money on lollipops and sugar canes, iffen he ain't spending it on tomahawks for to bash your brains in like he near did me yesterday, and you can't find a better use for it?" "Chet, I'm giving up the grifter's game." I said. "It ain't no fun no more. I'm going to stay around here, find a job, and maybe find a way to apologize to Wild Hawk that he'll listen to. That kid has nobody in the world who wants him. You know what that's like same as me." Chet had grown up in an orphanage. "That treasure is all he has. I just can't take it from him. I can't take nothing from anybody again." Chet's answer to that was to look at me, go over to his saddlebag, load it on his horse, get on it, look at me, shake his head, and ride off. Clear as could be, he was telling me our long partnership was now over. Me, I started unpacking the rest of it. Maybe build me a cabin here. When I turned around, the kid was standing there again. "You aren't leaving?" He asked me. I shook my head. "Naw. I reckon my days of living on the road are now over. I got to find a way to build a stake, and buy some land and settle down." He looked at me and said, "Can I stay here with you then? Until you move on?" "You'd better talk to your aunt. She wants to send you back East to live with your uncle." I said. "You wait here until the morning with me, and I'll give you a ride back to your home." "Can't we play any more?" the kid wanted to know. I looked at him and smiled. "Sure, kid. We can play the rest of the day. Really play, just you and me." His answer was to launch himself at me and hug me fiercely, and I looked down to see tears in his eyes. Maybe a few in my own, as well. We ended up back in my bedroll, and the kid commenced to giving me the best damned blowjob I'd ever had. Then it was up for some games, real kid's games. The kid was still a rough player, but his attacks on me didn't leave bruises any more. We played Cowboys and Indians, and then we played Pirates and then we had supper and he gave me another blowjob as the stars slowly came out in the darkening sky. Tonight, we had a moon, in its last quarter but shining like it was full just the same. "I don't want to go live back East." the kid said to me. "I want to stay with you." "I wish you could stay, too." I said, rubbing his soft black hair. Then it hit me. "And why the hell not?" The next day, I delivered the kid to his aunt who promptly made arrangements for him to ride the grocer's delivery wagon to the city. I was waiting for the kid at the city with the letter in his pocket to his uncle, asking him to take care of Wild Hawk from now on. We rode back to the hills together, and Wild Hawk dug up his treasure and with it, he and I set out for new lands. With Wild Hawk's stake to help us, we could set up a home for just the two of us, and with the land still wild, nobody would question him being with me. I had gone grifting with Chet to steal Wild Hawk's treasure. And I had ended up with the treasure and a lot more besides. THE END Comments, complaints or suggestions?
