Here is chapter 8 hope you enjoy! Please as always consider donating to nifty! Chapter 8 I walked a few feet behind Jeremy after we dressed and headed out of the locker room, afraid in the back of my mind that he was going to whip out a video of our session and say I was on some messed up version of punkd. We reached his car and he took my bookbag and swim bag from me and tossed it in the back of a very nice, fairly new diesel type truck."Are you sure? I can just walk home..." I asked feebly still unable to believe the situation. The paranoid in me was starting to rise and I felt that he could sense it.Jeremy walked over to me from the other side of the truck and approached where I was standing. "No worries little man I seriously don't mind. Come on we gotta talk more." He answered while patting me on the shoulder.A few seconds passed while I shivered from the cool night air still unsure about the whole situation."You're safe with me don't stress cutie." I gulped still with a little apprehension and got in the passenger seat.Jeremy closed the door and got in to the drivers side and pulled off. The second we left the school parking lot he turned to me."What happened with Cox?" He asked me as we were stopped at a red light. He was referring to Kenny and the state he found us in. "Not too many people get on his bad side." He continued.Several moments of silence passed between us as he kept going down the road. I chose my words carefully "It was just a misunderstanding. I really honestly don't know how it got to that point." I almost whispered while grabbing my arm. My body relaxed slightly as I was describing what happened to him but I was still nervous."But what happened man?" He pressed on while looking at me. He took my hand in his after a few more moments of silence and reassured me a little."I just..." I began tentatively. Jeremy was watching the road but still waiting for a response."Yeah..." He said after a few moments. When I didn't answer he really didn't push the issue further."Okay listen you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to but you don't have to quit the team." He replied making a left turn."Once the other guys find out they're not gonna want someone like me on the team..." I answered still sheepish. "Well let's make sure nobody else gets wind of what happened. I'll track Cox down on Monday and talk to him." Jeremy answered cutting me off before I could continue my thought. My insides still churned violently at the thought of my big secret getting out. A small Iowa town like Lakewood would definitely not take kindly to someone straying outside the lines of what they would deem a normal lifestyle."What are you going to say to him?" I asked Jeremy as he pulled into Kelton Farms. He shrugged."I'll just talk to him as one guy to another. Don't worry Craig it's gonna be fine." He replied. He drove into my cul-de-sac and ruffled my hair before I got out. Jeremy gave me his best winning smile and winked before I shut the door and he drove off leaving me in front of my house with a head full of questions and no answers.I climbed the staircase to my room and threw my bags at the foot of the bed. I slipped under the covers and thought about what happened. One thought stuck with me constantly and that was how Andres must be feeling. I felt bad that he was just as terrified as I was about anyone knowing. I suppose the worst part is that he wasn't talking to me and telling me how he feels. I felt my mother come in the front door. "Craigy are you home baby?" I heard her call from downstairs. I willed my aching body out of bed and headed downstairs. When I made it to the foot of the stairs she was holding the door open.Andres was standing there in a pair of jeans and a sweater. His eyes looked steely and uninviting unlike they usually were."Your friend is here to see you honey is everything okay?" She asked eyeing me with a little concern in her voice. We stood for a few awkward moments. "Um...yeah why wouldn't it be?" I said nervously not taking my eyes of Andres. His expression not changing he jerked his head towards his car.I looked at my mother. Her expression changed from concern to Spanish inquisition in the space of 1/2 a second. "Is he giving you trouble Craigy?" She blurted out rather nervously. My stomach now held a boulder that had just dropped. I struggled to respond."No mom everything's fine he called me earlier he just wants to talk about the team you know...swimming stuff." I responded trying to keep my cool and still not break contact with the icy stare Andres was shooting at me.We stood for a few more awkward moments of silence before my mother started to head for the kitchen."Okay well I'll just be in the other room if you boys need me." She said still with a suspicious tone.Andres grabbed my arm and pulled me outside onto the front porch and closed the door behind him. "What did you say to him?" He asked quietly not letting go of my arm. With every passing second it was like I wanted to get away from him and his demeanor. "What are you talking about?" I asked back looking at him incredulously unable to believe the boy I had shared unimaginable moments with just a few hours before could be taking on this angry of a tone with me."I saw you get out of the car with Jeremy. What happened?" He added letting go of my arm and turning his back to me. I smelled fresh soap and cologne on his sweater. His attitude that was creating such tension in me melted away and I wanted nothing more than to be in his arms again."He just took me home. Wait a minute how did your know I was with Jeremy?" I asked wanting to know."I was pulling in here when I saw you get out. I wanted to say I'm sorry for the way I acted." He answered. His expression softened a little and I couldn't help myself. I wrapped both of my arms around his neck and he embraced me around my waist as well."I guess it doesn't matter..." He said and pulled me as close as he could and buried his face in my hair.A part of my insides wanted to tell him to fuck off and deal with his inability to face reality. But then I thought I'd be very hypocritical for doing so as I was in the same predicament. I didn't want my secret out just as much as he did. The other part of me won however when I took in the scent of his freshly showered curls and skin. Every protest and hint of the fight ebbed away from my conscience and I was very content to be wrapped in his arms again. "Can we hang out?" He whispered in my ear."I think we're doing something as a family tonight. Maybe you can come." I wondered out loud as I turned my face towards his hoping to meet his amazing lips. He backed away still holding on to me and considered the thought."Will they be alright with me?" He asked, a knot of uncertainty in his voice. "Why would it matter?" I asked back. His hesitation puzzled me. It wasn't like him to be shy."I..." He stammered. It was odd seeing his confidence fade. "What's wrong?" I asked picking up on his hesitation."I'm not dressed for anything nice you know..." Andres replied sheepishly looking at the floor absentmindedly running his hands through his messy curls."We're just going out to eat somewhere you look fine." I said hurriedly dismissing his uncertainty with a wave of my hand."I also didn't like the look on your mom's face when she thought I was mad at you or whatever." He added also without looking at me. "Hey don't worry she'll come around eventually. Come on maybe I have something that fits you." I took his hand and led him upstairs to my room.If there was something I could say about a teenager's room that hasn't already been said, well I wouldn't know what to tell you. I had posters of singers and several male models. Nothing that would suggest anything in any sort of way. I had a knack for obscuring any alluding facts about myself. A few piles of clothes were strewn across the floor in somewhat of a disarray. For some reason I grew nervous as he surveyed my wall and dragged his fingers across the pictures."It's just stuff I like nothing special." I said chuckling nervously hoping my choice of musical artists wouldn't make me more of a nerd in his eyes. He paused over a generic cologne ad with a shirtless male model I had cut out. He looked at me with a slight smirk."Is this what you like?" He asked looking first at me and then back at the picture. "I actually put that picture up because I want my body to look that way someday." I answered quickly rushing to his side in an attempt to explain. "You mean, you don't like this?" He asked me with a puppy dog face grabbing my hand and placing it on his impressive chest.I was speechless for a second trying to find the words while my fingers played with his very erect nipple that was currently poking through his t-shirt. I flicked it a couple times. Andres bit his lip and looked at me, my mouth open. "Yeah..." I breathed out. "What about this?" He continued taking my other hand and placing it on his bubble butt. My mouth was very dry and my dick was now waking up. I forgot myself."Oh wow..." I wondered aloud as I played with the plump globe that was his butt. It seemed impossible that it was soft and firm at the same time. The muscle clenched under the fabric of his jeans. He then moved my hand to the very large lump forming in his jeans. I swallowed hard and felt his very heated hardness. "Andres my mom is downstairs." I said desperately trying to get him to stop. His dick was making a very raised lump in the denim and if he continued to toy with my hands I would no longer be able to control myself as my own raging erection was starting to demand attention. He kissed me gently at first. My knees gave way and my arms immediately went around his neck. The scent of his perfect curls sending me to another plane. A knock at the door jostled us. I tore my lips away from his and my head snapped. We were making little moaning noises but I hoped I hadn't given us away."Craigy are you ready?" My mother's muffled voice spoke from behind the door. I walked over to the door and clumsily opened it. "Yeah umh we were just uh...mom can Andres come with us?" I asked unsuccessfully attempting to hide my flushed face. She eyed me with the slightest hint of suspicion. After a second she looked at Andres."Sure honey just...make sure it's okay with his folks. We're just going to Ollie's okay?" She said. There was something about the look in her eyes that told me she wasn't revealing everything on her mind. She left the room and closed the door behind her leaving me and Andres alone. I turned to him and looked in his eyes. They showed a moderate amount of panic."Do you think she knew what we were doing?" He whispered nervously. I shook my head."Mom's pretty naive when it comes to that stuff. She'd rather not know." I answered back. I wasn't entirely sure she didn't however but I didn't let him know that."Come on let's find you a better shirt." I said grabbing his hand and leading him to an overstuffed drawer. After we got burgers at Ollie's place, my mother dropped her icy demeanor towards Andres after she talked to him. She asked him why it seemed like he was in a bad mood when he first got to our font door. He feigned some answer about a stressful day and a hard workout. Satisfied with his response, her flight attendant friendliness came back and she suggested we watch a movie. One thing my mother was good at was making a night out of an average weekday. Andres got a bit red in the face and said he didn't have any extra cash for a movie ticket. She waved his excuse aside and paid for his ticket including a large bucket of popcorn and a gigantic soda. By some stroke of a miracle mom got a phone call in the middle of the movie. It must have been someone important because she stepped out of the theater with her phone pressed to her ear. We were sitting in a relatively empty part of the theater. Andres looked around to see if anyone was watching and took my hand. We stayed that way for the rest of the movie and quite honestly I don't remember what the movie was even about. I just smiled contentedly with his hand in mine. He would look over at me every so often and I'd look back. Our eyes met and he smiled a little. We'd look away and I felt a few butterflies escape from my chest. The movie ended and the lights came on. My mother still wasn't back from taking her phone call. We stepped out into the lobby of the theater but she was nowhere to be found. At the other end of the big room was a small arcade with various video games and such. Andres saw a photo booth and dragged me towards it. I hated pictures but obliged him anyway. We took several goofy sets and then one where he insisted on kissing my cheek. I felt my face burn as the flash from the booth's camera and couldn't help from grinning a dopey smile as he did it. We emerged from the booth pictures in hand. I looked at the pictures and smiled. Andres came over my shoulder and kissed my face quickly when out of the corner of my eye I spotted my mother walking back to us. I quickly stuffed the pictures back into my pocket hoping she hadn't noticed."Sorry about that boys. Well what say we get some milkshakes and call it a night yeah?" She replied a little out of breath. She smiled and turned around leading us out of the cineplex and back to the car. My stomach was in a knot for some reason. I think Andres was a bit nervous too as we pulled out of the parking lot. When we got home, Andres lingered on the stoop for a second. Mom hurried inside for some reason. He put his hand on my shoulder and I turned around. I looked over my shoulder and made sure noone else was watching. "Whatsup?" I asked him. He had a look on his face like he was struggling with what he was going to say. He looked at me for a moment and then took a deep breath."I want to ask you something but it's difficult for me to say..." His voice trailed off. His head was hanging and his eyes were towards the floor. I lowered my head a bit to meet his gaze and wondered what was troubling him."What's the matter?" I asked him softly taking his face in my hands. God it must hurt to be as beautiful as him. His honey eyes held a bit of apprehension in them and I started to worry that he was about to tell me that which was so obvious about someone in the closet. "Will you..." He started but didn't finish. My heart was sinking already, dreading the answer. "Andres just tell me..." I said hoping he hadn't heard the break in my voice. He looked up with watery eyes at me."Will you...be with me?" He said tenderly. Taking my hands in his. "With you?" I asked him softly a little puzzled. "I don't know how to say in English but I think it's...boyfriend." He said. The world stopped and I was unable to process what he had just said to me. I couldn't tell if I was about to break down from being overjoyed or the shock of being asked the complete opposite of what I was expecting him to. I took his face gently in my hands and raised it so his eyes met mine. He had a vulnerability written all over his face that I wanted to erase. This moment was too beautiful. He was too beautiful. I kissed his swollen lips and answered him without speaking. I wanted his insecurities, his fear, his doubt, his uncertainty about the world knowing to melt away just as my inhibitions were. A feeling inside me was now growing along with the butterflies inside my chest. He picked me up under my arms and swung me around as we made out tenderly. I could feel his smile through our aching lips.He set me down not letting go. I placed my forehead on his and smiled with my eyes closed."So does this mean you're my boyfriend?" I asked him unable to keep the laughter out my voice. He grinned."No this means I'm your boyfriend." He answered back smiling just as hard.We kissed a few more times, lost in each other. He finally let me go and we walked back towards his car hand in hand. He got in and kept looking at me with those honey eyes. He bit his lips a few times before blowing me a kiss and driving off. I saw the Corolla disappear at the end of our street and slowly walked back to the house. I was wearing a big stupid grin as I opened the door and closed it after I went in."When were you gonna tell me about him?" I heard my mom ask. I turned towards the living room. She was nursing a hot cup of tea as she asked. I let go of the door handle as my insides turned to ice, unable to form a response.
