Chapter 9

When he reached the Holand house there was a car parked out front that he
didn't recognize. So, he went inside to find his Grandparents and his uncle
Logan sitting in the living room.

Chapter 9

Logan was the first one to meet Adian as he came in the door.  He hugged
him close and held him. Adian didn't know why but he began to cry while
being held by his uncle. When Logan released Adian, his grandmother was
next to hug him.

 "Woh, you stink." His grandmother said as she released and looked him in
the face.

"I was just out running." Adian told his grandmother.

"Well, why don't you go shower and get ready we are going up to see your
mother." She told him.

"Can I see your room?" Logan asked.

"Sure, come on." Adian said as he left the room. Logan followed him up to
the room he shared with Scott. Once inside Logan looked around.

"You share your room with Scott." Logan asked

"Yeah, for now. I get the room next door. But for now I am sleeping here
with Scott. He has been really cool. If I get scared he comes and sleeps
with me." Adian told Logan as he began to take his clothes off.

"Wow, You are looking good. That running has really help develop your
body." Logan said as he admired looking at his nephew. The last time he had
seen Adian like this was three years ago when he still had a little baby
fat around his midsection.

"Thanks." Adian said as he dropped his shorts. Logan looked at his nephew
with surprise. He was amazed at the size of Adian's penis.

"Wow, you really have grown."  Logan said as he stared at Adian. While
thinking to himself that Adian was about the same size as he was and he was
two years older. Adian grabbed a pair of shorts and headed into the
bathroom. He smiled to himself knowing he had just given his uncle a

"No, Mom wants to make sure sis is alright before going back home." Logan
told him. Adian finished washing and decided to step out of the shower with

he loved her and how much he missed her. She wrote down on a piece of
paper, telling him how much she wanted to be at home with him. But she
wouldn't be able to come home until she was completely healed. She
wrote. She went on to explain that the Holands were willing to help take
care of him. Logan went to stand next to his young cousin and comforted
him. They stayed and talked. They let Maria know that her mother and
younger brother would be staying till she got out of surgery and
recovered. Once they had concluded their visit they headed back to the
Holland's, Mary had lunch ready for them when they arrived. Scott was back
from staying the night at his boyfriends. He smiled at Adian.  ***

The week had gone by fast and Adian's mother was doing fine after her
surgery, Logan and his grandmother went back home. They had stayed at the
house and Adian got to stay a few days with them. Nothing had happened
between Logan and Adian during that time. Even if both boys wanted
something to happen. Today was Friday and it would be the first game the
boys would be playing together as a team. They have been running and
playing together for almost two weeks, but this would be the first time
they would actually be playing as a unit. They had all met up for their
morning run, but they made it a short run. They had all agreed they wanted
to be fresh for their first game. Today John was the one to take Adian to
the ball park to drop him off. Eric and his little brother Braden along
with the Olsen brother's Freddy and Bobby. They grabbed baseballs and began
to play catch. Just as promised he played catch with Braden all week and
today was no different.

The two of them had gotten close, closer than Eric wanted them to be. He
was a bit jealous of his younger brother but he also realized that if Adian
found out about Greyson and him Adian wouldn't look at him the same. After
the run he had gone on with his brother that Sunday just five days ago. The
two had managed to have sex everyday. He had also lost his virginity to his
brother. On Tuesday after practice Greyson had managed to talk him in to

Aaron. After warming up Braden went and joined his brother and his parents
in the stands. Bridgewater was the team the Wilton Cougars were
playing. The Cougars was the name the boys had chosen since they couldn't
use the school name. Coach Holand had listed the names of the starting

Blake had confidents with his line up, Little Bobby Olson had proven
himself with the scrimmages. Plus he always had Adian to back him up if he
faltered. Bobby was able to keep the ball low and on the inside with most
of his pitches, He also had a nice cutting pitch that would sweep to the
outside and he has a nice fastball that drop nice.
 Jose was stopping everything that was being thrown at him. He was a wall
behind the plate. During all the practices the boy stopped everything in
front of him. Bobby started the first inning against the Bridgewater team
by striking them out 1-2-3. Blake patted his cute little ass and told he
was doing a great job. First up to bat for the Wilton Cougars little Bryan
Mars, he had earned that spot by having the second best on-base percentage
next to Adian. As expected Bryan was walked on four straight balls up next
was Sean Marcus. Sean is much bigger than Bryan and he was given the signal
to hit and run. Bryan dashed to second when Sean watched the first pitch
which was low and away. Kristopher was on deck and timing his swing to the
pitchers throw. Sean got a small piece of the next pitch driving it back
into the fence behind the catcher. With a ball and one strike Sean steps
out, looks down the line to Blake for the call and is given the hit and
run. Sean steps back in and gets set. Ball two came the call from the
umpire. Bryan took off for third and slid under the tag. So, with a runner
at third, Blake had Sean swing away. The young ballplayer did just that
hitting it right down the third base line. Bryan went at the sound of the
bat and was halfway home when the third baseman caught the ball. He bobbled
the ball and the throw home was late as Bryan slid under the tag.
 Kristian then stepped into the batters box and swung at the first pitch,
driving it past the second baseman which allowed, Sean to advance to
second. With runners on first and second. Adian made his way to home
plate. He stood outside the batters box and looked down the third baseline
towards coach Holand. Blake just gave him the signal to swing away. Blake
had confidence in Adian's bat. He had never seen the boy strike out. Adian
stepped up to the plate he was a little scared and watched as the pitcher
threw the first strike. Adian looked surprised, the ball looked to be just
outside the plate. He was going to say something to the umpire then
remembered what Blake had told him. (No matter what the umpire calls just
remember not to argue with him no matter how bad the call. That is the
coaches call.) Adian stepped out and looked down the third baseline. He got
the same signal to swing away. Adian stepped back into the batters box and
watched as the next pitch crossed the plate. It was low and almost in the
dirt, but the umpire called it strike two. Adian stepped out and looked at
coach Holand, Blake gave him the signal to swing away. Adian stepped in and
watched the pitcher go through his motions. When he released the ball it
look to be a breaking ball, Adian adjusted his hands and took a hard swing.
Ting.  Adian heard as he watched the ball fly through the air. Everyone
took off running. Adian ran to first base but the coach at first told him
to watch coach Holand when he rounded second. Blake was signaling him to
come to third and Adian came in just under the tag to be called safe. Adian
had just hit his first triple in a real game. Freddy was up next and then
Jose. Freddy struck out on three bad calls by the umpire. Blake went up to
talk to him. after that the calls were better. Jose hit a fly ball to right
field, which scored Adian. Eric flew out to the center fielder for the
third out. The Cougars lead was now 4 to nothing. Bobby went in to pitch
two more innings only allowing a grounder to third base, which Adian
scooped and through the runner out by a step and a half.  At the bottom of
the third inning Adian was up to bat. With a new pitcher. He walked over to
coach and asked what to do. Blake just told him to swing away. Adian stood
out side the batters box and timed his swings. When it was time to step in
he looked down the third base line and look for the signal, he remembered
to just swing away. He watched the first pitch go by which was called
strike one. He stepped back looked at the coach then stepped in again, this
time he watched as the next pitch came inside and just cut the corner for
strike two. Adian adjusted his gloves and stepped in again. This time the
pitch was coming right down the middle of the plate. Adian watched as it
came in, he kept his head down and turned on his hips driving the ball
straight over the centerfield fence over two hundred and forty five
feet. It was a home run. The crowd roared as it went over the fence. Adian
thought he got lucky as he rounded the bases. All his team mates met him at
home plate. The next three batters went down in order.  Before everyone
went out into the field, Blake made some changes. He pulled Bobby from
pitching and told him to take a seat, then put Aaron in at shortstop and
moved Kristian to pitching then switched his out field. It was league rules
that everyone had to have a chance to play. But he wasn't worried he felt
he had the best players in the league. Adian made two more great plays at
third and Aaron made a great play for a double play. Kristian pitched a
good game but wasn't able to shut the batters down like Bobby did. Adian
got up to bat in the fifth inning to drive in three more runs. Freddy even
batted Adian in before being thrown out at second base on a attempted
steal. All in all, it was a nice win for the Wilton Cougars. Bridgewater
only got two runners on and never crossed third base.

"Woh, you guys are good." One of the Bridgewater players said to Kristian,
after they shook hands.

"Nah, we are just average." Kristian said. with a big smile on his face.

"No, you guys are good, especially your third baseman. I really like how he
bats, he has such a natural swing." The boy commented.

"Would you believe this is the first year he has ever played." Kristian
said as he smiled at the young player. The boy just looked astonished.

"Really, you wouldn't know by watching him play." the young ballplayer said
with an astonished look on his face. A few other boys had heard the
conversation and were just as surprised as the boy who asked the question.

"Good game." Blake told Adian as they were putting the equipment away.

"Thanks, but I don't think I did that well. I bobbled the ball at third
base and hurried my throw to first. Plus when I hit that home run, I think,
I had my eyes closed when I hit the ball." Adian said.

"Well, you hit the ball that well with your eyes closed. You should do it
all the time. "Blake joked.

Once they got everything packed into the back of the Malibu. Blake called
all the boys over to him and told them they were invited over to his house
for a BBQ. All the boys were excited. Blake had worked out all the details
with the parents before hand. Only a few of the boys were not going to be
able to make it to the party. Adian asked the Holands if he could ride with
Blake and was given permission. Both Adian and Blake continued to talk
about the game. When they got to Blakes house he really wasn't surprised to
see that Blake lived in such a nice house. He had heard Scott, Mary and
John talk about it earlier that day. But he was curious as to who the three
teens who were in the house.

"Is this him?" Kyle asked as they met Blake and Adian at the door.

"Yes, this is Adian. Adian I would like to introduce my little, ok, not so
little cousin Kyle and his boyfriend Sammy Johnson. Guys this is Adian
Parks." Blake said introducing everyone. "Where is Ben? Blake asked.

"He is out back with Billy getting everything ready." Sammy said while
walking back into the kitchen where Kyle and himself were getting the
hamburger and hotdogs ready. They were also getting the plates and cups
ready to take out back to the porch.

"Kyle, why don't you go show Adian where he can change." Blake told his
cousin. Kyle then told Adian to follow him.

"Blake says your a good ballplayer." Kyle said trying to make
conversation. Kyle already knew Adian's back story and he knew better then
to ask other questions unless Adian was willing to give-up that
information.

"I guess so. At least that is what Blake keeps telling me." Adian said
shyly. They had just reached the downstairs bedroom where the boys were
going to change, if they didn't change before they got to Blakes house. To
make small talk, Kyle asked Adian what grade he was going into.

"I will be a seventh grader this year but I am also taking some eighth and
ninth grade classes." Adian said proudly.

"Cool, I am a ninth grader this year maybe we will have some classes
together." Kyle said with real interest. While they were talking Adian
began to take off his jersey. Kyle watched with interest. Then realized he
should give Adian privacy to change.

"Oh, sorry I should let you change."

"No, it is ok. Scott and I change in front of each other all the time."
Adian told Kyle while he was taking off his shoes. "Plus, I like talking to
you. So your Blakes cousin."

"Yeah, actually my dad is Blake's first cousin and me and Billy are Blake's
second cousins." Kyle told Adian.

"I know I shouldn't ask, but Blake said Sammy is your boyfriend?" Adian
questioned

"Yes, we have been going out for the last three years. We came out because
of my uncle and my dad's trial." Kyle told him. Adian knew better to ask,
some things are left unsaid. He knew his own father would be going to trial
soon. While they continued to watch Adian slowly worked his baseball pants
and sliding shorts off leaving him standing there with just his jock and
cup on. Kyle was enjoying the little striptease his cousins little
ballplayer was giving him. Adian turned around to put his uniform in his
bag and grab his swimsuit. Kyle thought he was going to miss the one thing

towel from his bag.

said.  Kyle was beginning to see a little bit of himself in Adian.

Adian grabbed his swimsuit and put it on before the conversation would give
him a stiffy. Once dress the two boys headed out in to the kitchen, where
Sammy, Blake, Ben and Billy were just finishing up on the burgers and
salads.

"Hey, Just in time, help us take the food outside." Ben said. So, Kyle and
Adian grabbed some of the food and took it outside to the grille and picnic
tables.

Adian let out a small sigh when he saw how big Blakes back yard was. He had
a sauna house in one corner, a big swimming pool with a diving board and
slide. A large hot tub that could seat around 8 full size adults and 12
younger teens.

"Can't we skinny dip? Billy asked once all the food was set up.

"No, I told you before, no skinny dipping with the baseball team. Not all
of the parents would feel comfortable doing that because of the trial."
Blake said. Billy knew he was right and dove in the water. Adian was next
in the water along with Kyle and Sammy. Soon all four boys were splashing
and having a great time. Ben and Blake greeted the ball players as they
showed up. Ben would lead those who were not in swimming suits to the
bedroom where they could change. Parents and ballplayers were showing up
and joining the rest out on the deck at the back of the house. The only
players who did not come were RJ Johnson, Freddy and Bobby Olson. They had
prior commitments. When Eric arrived Adian was the first to greet him when
he stepped out on the deck. The two boys then quickly joined the rest of
the team in the pool. After the boys had been in the pool for a while Blake
called the boys up to eat. Several of the boys parents had stayed to help
out. Aaron's father who was also helping Blake coach, had the boys line up
and help dish out food. Once all the boys had their food they sat down and
talked about todays game and the up coming game on Tuesday. the boys would
not have practice till Monday but several of the boys were talking about
getting together for runs in the morning and then getting together in the
afternoon for a little scrimmage match.  With plans made the boys went back
into the pool for another hour before it was time for everyone to leave.

Blake had been sitting with the parents knowing better then to get in the
pool with twelve, thirteen and fifteen year old's. He couldn't help but
notice his little cousin messing around with a couple of boys. Blake had
warned him earlier not to get to frisky with the boys with their parents
around, But after their game of chicken, Billy had figured out who he could
have a little fun with. The boy named Aaron was one of those boys. He
popped a boner the minute he got on Billy's shoulders. The two messed
around till it was time to go. Billy thought he would have to go and watch
some of Aarons games. He wouldn't mind getting to know the soon to be
eleven year old.  Adian helped Blake and the others clean up until it was
time for him to be taken home. Blake had told his parents he would give
Adian a ride home after the pool party. On the way home Blake asked Adian
if he had fun. Adian told him he did and said he was glad he had tried out
for baseball. That Party was just the first of many over the baseball
season. Not all of the parties were held at Blakes house and not all of the
parties were all innocent fun.  The team usual played two game a week all
throughout the month of June. Usually the games were played on Tuesdays and
Fridays except for the weeks they had a over night baseball
tournament. Adian had pitched in several games and his confidence was
growing each week. The baseball team was also getting stronger not just
physically but also as a group. When not playing baseball they would be out
running, and when they weren't running they were always together playing
baseball. They had yet to lose a baseball game.
 Adian's mother was doing better, Her latest surgery was to fix her vocal
cords. Logan and Adian's grandmother came and stayed the week. Adian was
allowed to stay with them at his house and Adian and Logan played video
games. The one thing everyone was talking about was Adian's batting
average. With 75 at bats Adian had 65 hits so that makes his batting
average .866% the other ten at bats were intentional walks which gave him
an on base percentage of 1000. Not to bad for a twelve year old. Adian was
the talk of most tournaments. July would be the State tournament and the
boys were getting ready to go. The first game would be played in
Bloomington At the Kent Hrbeck field. Their first game was going to be on a
Friday at 10 a.m. But first they would be playing Wilton's other two teams.
 On the Friday before they would be playing the Wilton Bobcats and on
Tuesday they would play the Wilton Mavericks. The Cougars had already beat
both teams once, The Bobcats four to nothing and the Mavericks thirteen to
four. Adian shut out the Mavericks for the first three innings and Kristian
had given up four runs. All three teams had qualified for the State
tournament and if any of the three teams won the State Championship they
will go on to play in the little league regionals.

Friday nights game went as expected. Adian pitched the first three innings
shutting out the Bobcats. Aaron came in and threw a shut out the final
three innings. Adian went 4 for 4. scoring three runs and one
homerun. Adian also led the league in home runs with twenty three homeruns
in twenty six games. Tuesdays game was a little more of a challenge it was
a hitting feast for both teams. Even though it was the last game of the
season. Both teams agreed ahead of time that they would start the non
starters. Even though the pitching was good it seemed that everyone was
having a great at bat. The Cougars won the game twenty one to
seventeen. Sean Marcus started the game giving up eight runs over the first
three innings, then JD Smith pitched the last three innings giving up nine
runs.

The next two days the boys practice everyday with Blake and without
him. The only reason he wasn't at practices was because he had to get his
summer wrestling team ready for the AAU tournament at the end of July .
