Chapter 28

				  BED BOY

One night when he had finished he just rolled off me and went to sleep
without first kicking me out of his bed onto my dirty mattress on the
floor.  So I was able to spend the whole night cuddled up against his big,
hairy body and to sleep coiled around him like a rope.

At one point he flung his arm across me in his sleep and pinned me to the
bed under its meaty weight.  I liked that.

Next morning my usual morning beating was of unusual severity as if to
signal that I was not to read anything into having been allowed to sleep
beside him.  But I didn't mind.  If that was the price to pay for it, that
was OK by me.
