"Do you think they are in there, Roberto?" "They aren't outside and not in the pool. Gotta be somewhere." Sure enough, entering the gym, Anthony lies faced down, stripped to the buff, on the massage table. "Here we are, slaving away in the kitchen," Roberto scolds, "and you're in here, lying down, getting an erotic massage!" "Erotic? Un-uh," Anthony stands up for himself. "Tell'em, Nicholas." Being in a prankish mood, Nicholas, hands oiled up, slips one right up Anthony's ass crack. Anthony props himself up on one elbow, turns around and says, "Nicholas, what do you think you're doing?" All smiles, he says, "Giving you your erotic rubdown?" Roberto and Randy, realizing the stunt Nicholas is pulling, join in. "Lying to me?" Roberto says. "Now look what you did, Nicholas! They think I'm lying to them!" All Nicholas does it laugh. Roberto steps over to where Nicholas is, as he rubs some oil into Anthony's asscheek. "Don't go too deep," Roberto warns, "he might like it!" Nicholas says, "Yeah, he always was the kinky sort!" Randy pushes himself over to where they are, moving into the space between Roberto and Nicholas. "What do you mean by the kinky sort, Nicky?" Not wanting to bring up facts, coinciding with the ordeal he and Randy went through, Nicholas alludes to, "Oh, nothin' hon. Unlike most folks, getting a rubdown, Anthony likes to have his private parts rubbed." "Doesn't sound kinky at all," Randy says, asking, "How about giving me a rubdown sometime?" "How about now?" Nicholas inquires. "Sure." "Get up," Nicholas orders, with a hefty hand-slap to his ass. "Nice," Randy says of Anthony's glistening orbs. Thinking it has been part of the rubdown, he tells his lover, "Don't forget to do mine, too, Nicky." "Oh, I won't!" "By the way, Sep and Adam aren't in the pool. Anybody know where they happened off to?" Nicholas snapped his finger, but it made a dull sound. He reported, "As I closed the gym door, I saw them sneaking off towards Sep's cottage." "Those two?" Anthony remarks. "Who woulda thought!" "Why not?" Roberto entertains. "They're both muscular, handsome, the friendly sort." "You need a hand getting up on the table, Randy?" Anthony asks. "No, I've got him," Nicholas answers. Randy says thanks. Outside of the gym, the two walk the hall, down to the kitchen, which backs up against the pool area. Stepping between the double glass doors, Adam and Seth are on their way out. "So there you two are!" Roberto says, snagging them. Anthony, straightening Sep's tie, asks, "And where are you two headed?" Adam says, pointing his thumb to his side, "He's taking me out to dinner." "Really?" Anthony asks. "Um, Anthony," Sep asks, "do you think you could advance me fifty bucks on my paycheck this week?" Adam jumps in with, "That's okay. I've got it." "No," Sep remains headstrong, "I offered." "Then we'll split the bill," Adam says, insistently. Sep then says, "Never mind Anthony I think I'll have enough, since moneybags," pertaining to Adam, "is splitting the bill." "Are you sure?" Anthony says, holding up a fifty dollar bill, taken from the kitchen desk draw. "You leave money lying around like that?" Adam asks. "Yeah, but just don't think about going on any treasure hunts!" Adam laughs. Soon the two are out the door, Seb snatching the bill from Anthony's hand. Anthony again says, "Who woulda thought? A cop and a kid!" "Excop," Roberto reminds him. "And don't forget you're going to ask around at Applegate if they need any security officers." "Oh, I wouldn't forget. Come Monday morning, that will be my first priority." As Roberto fixes them some chicken, he asks, "When is the next swim competition?" "Next Thursday." "Home or away?" "Away." "Where's `away'?" "Greenville." "I think I should go with you to keep you out of trouble." "It's not necessary, but I'd love to have you come along, hon." Circling Roberto's waist with his arms, which doesn't take much, Anthony gives him some sweet kisses on the neck, as he turns the chicken in the skillet. "Do you mean it? Can I really go, Anthony?" "As long as you're not missing out on anything." "What am I missing out on? All I do is hang out around here all day. Sometimes it gets kind of boring." "Well," Anthony lets him entertain the question, "what would you like to be doing?" "I think I'd like to get a job. Do something to get some of my own spending money, instead of having you buy me things." "But, I like buying you things," Anthony replies, kissing the top of his lover's bare shoulder, next to the cream-colored apron strap. "I know, but I need something to do during the day. I'm going to be thirty soon and I have to think about what I'm going to with the rest of my life." "Taking care of me?" "That's not what I mean." Fully understanding, Anthony says, "Okay. Monday morning I'll make it my second priority." "Anthony?" Roberto says in a wee, soft voice. "What?" "Can I look for myself?" "Of course you can." "Not that I don't appreciate it." Turning the chicken off, Roberto turns around. They move away from the stove. "It's okay. I understand," Anthony replies, more interested in something else, now that he has Roberto's entire attention. "I want to get absorbed in some kind of business." "And Eskridge, being a prosperous college town, has a lot of them," Anthony informs. "Then maybe I'll walk the town on Monday morning and see who's hiring." "Sounds like a plan to me." "Good. Let's eat," Roberto says, breaking away. Roberto, clad in a pair of shorts and kitchen apron, walks around the kitchen, removing four plates. "I'll set the table." "I'll do it," Roberto tells him, "you go and see how Randy and Nicholas are doing. Tell them dinner's on the table." "Righto!" Anthony says, faking a bad British accent. Walking the hall, he's thinking more of Roberto's future, than Adam's. One of the things on his mind, of importance, is making sure they have plenty of time for tender moments. Walking into the gym, he announces, "Roberto says dinner's on.... the table. What's this?" "I'm standing up!" Randy says, proud of himself. "I see that," Anthony replies, furthering, "no less with `greasy' hands?" Instead of Randy faced down, Nicholas lies of the masseur's table, faced up. "Having an `erotic' body rub?" Anthony says, pinching Nicholas' left nip. "Owch!" "Wimp!" Anthony tells him, turning to Randy and saying, "he really likes his nips tugged, did you know that?" "No," Randy replies. "I do `not'!" Nicholas argues. "If anybody, it would be `you'," he says of Anthony. Out of the blue, Randy says, "Well, when my nips had clamps on them it hurt like hell, but now they feel pretty good." "Really?" Anthony and Nicholas say at the same time. Nicholas adds, "I thought your nips still hurt you, Rand?" "Not too much. My concern was," and he looks down at his pecs, "them always being this.... puffy." Nicholas, sitting up, flops his legs over the side of the table, saying, "They're still just swollen some. That will remedy itself. Besides, even if they didn't, I'd love you the same!" Seeing a tender moment unveiling, Anthony repeated himself, "Dinner's on the table," and let himself out of the gym. "Guess what?" "They're not hungry?" Roberto guesses. "Oh, I'm sure they are hungry, but Randy says his nips don't bother him." "Yeah, so?" "He says they feel kind of good." "So?" "Nothing." "Good. Will you run upstairs and get me a tee shirt?" "Okay," Anthony agreed. As Anthony is in their room, opening a draw, Nicholas walks by, in the hallway. Returning from his room, he has two tee shirts in his hand. He meets Anthony. "Oh, same," Anthony says of the reason for being in his room. "Guess what?" "What?" "Rand walked from the gym to the kitchen." "You're kidding?" "Nope. He says from now on he doesn't want to be an invalid." "I know he's said that before." "Yup. I think he's finally snapping out of it." "Cool," Anthony says of the recovery. "Now don't forget about the artist supplies." "Oh, I won't. Come Monday morning, I'll be headed into town." "I think it's just what Randy needs, plus get him enrolled in some courses at Applegate." "Maybe we can drop over in the afternoon. Will you be free?" "Not until about four. We've got a swimming competition on Thursday." "Here or away?" "Away. In Greenville." "Maybe Rand and I will come watch." "Would be good for him," Anthony says. "You know he thinks the world of you for all you've done." Overriding the comment, Anthony replies, "I think Roberto is waiting for us." "Yeah, okay," Nicholas replies. Before making his exit, he comments, "And thanks for everything, babe," taking the back of Anthony's head in his hand and delivering a touching kiss. At the top of the stairs, Anthony tweaks Nicholas' nip then hightails it down the stairs. "You little rat!" Nicholas yells, traisping down after him. As Nicholas enters the dining room, the three sit there, Roberto and Randy helping themselves. "We've almost given up hope on you!" Roberto scolds Nicholas. Putting Randy's tee shirt over his head, Nicholas helps him feed his arms through the openings. After throwing his own tee shirt on, he sits at the table, across from Anthony, saying to him, "I owe you one." "One what?" Asks Roberto. "He knows," Nicholas responds. By the way Anthony smiles, Roberto knows it's meant to be kept between the two. "Nothing important," Anthony says, as he places a piece of chicken in his mouth. Randy brings up, "So what is this between Sep and Adam?" Anthony reports, "Well, Nicholas and I saw them heading back to the cottage." "Then, Anthony and I are standing here in the kitchen," Roberto tells, "and they're headed out to dinner together." "Isn't Adam much older than Sep?" Randy asks. "A six or seven year difference," Anthony says, adding, "but when it comes to love, does age really matter?" Randy looks to Nicholas, as he says, "None, as far as I can see." "You're what, Randy? Nineteen?" Anthony inquires. "Twenty. Almost Twenty-one." "There and Nicholas is twenty-six," Anthony tells him. Randy speaks up, "I wasn't thinking it bad. I think it's cool." "Oh then, excuse me if I thought otherwise." Before long, plates have been eaten clean. The broccoli bowl has been emtied, brown rice eaten up and two pieces of chicken remain on the platter. "I guess that's dinner for you and Roberto for tomorrow night," Nicholas says. "Oh? And where are you two off to?" "Where else do we go out to eat? Nicholas asks. "Linguini's? What's the occasion?" Anthony follows up with. "Just the fact he got out of his chair and is walking on his own. I think that's reason enough," Nicholas tells him. "Maybe you would like two more celebrators along?" Anthony invites himself and Roberto. "Sure. It would be right nice to have you two come with us," Randy says. "As long as it's okay with you Nicky?" "Fine by me," Nicholas says to Randy, patting his hand. "Anybody in the mood for some croquet?" Anthony suggests, rubbing his hands together. "Croquet?" Roberto asks, a mysterious look on his face, a want to know what it is. Randy says, "I used to play it when I was a little kid. Sure!" Right away, Nicholas belts out, "Ya gotta watch out for this guy," pertaining to Anthony, "one time he hit the ball so hard, it went flying through the air!" "Oh yeah," Anthony replies, giggling, "I'll never forget that experience, as long as I live!" Randy and Roberto look back and forth between the two, as if watching a ping pong match. "Me neither," Nicholas replies, rubbing his crotch. "Almost cost me one of my orbs!" "You hit Nicky in the balls?" Randy inquires. "Wasn't intentional, I can assure you," Anthony says, as if apologizing on the that day, two years ago. "Sure," Nicholas says, "here I am laying on the ground, holding my crotch and you'd think he would have come running over!" "I was stunned." "Who was stunned?" Nicholas questions. By the way the debate was going, more like a comedy routine, Roberto and Randy were laughing their asses off. "I didn't notice anything with the size... they both look the same," Anthony reported. "And how would you know?" Randy asks Anthony, arms folded across his chest, putting Anthony on the spot. "Um, well.... ah because I wanted to make Nicholas was alright." "Yeah," Nicholas joked, saying, "Anthony fondled my balls, `claiming' he was checking for damage!" "Is that so?" Roberto asked, assuming the same position as Randy. Maybe all of this was shocking news to Randy, but for Roberto, it had been no secret Anthony and Nicholas at one time had some type of relationship going. He couldn't recall yet if Randy has caught Nicholas casually kissing Anthony on the lips, regardless of whom was present. Roberto has known of their closeness, but left it at casual, brotherly love. Nicholas smiled, asking, "So who's up for a game of croquet?" Randy jokes, "Do we need to wear athletic supporters?" % 2B continued... Copyright 2007 T.
