It is the most incredible feeling in the world, especially when you've been sleeping alone your entire life. I was curled up on my side facing the window, with Ash spooned against me. His arms were wrapped tightly around my chest, like I was his own teddy bear. One of his legs was draped over mine, and the soft hairs felt wonderful against my skin. There was also an interesting reminder of our earlier activities; Ash's morning hard on pressed into me. I squirmed a bit, trying to move it into a more comfortable position without waking him up. My endeavour was unsuccessful, however, and soon he was showing signs of life. "Good morning, you," he said, hugging me tighter as he yawned. "How did you sleep?" "Better than I ever have with Craven snoring above me," I joked, turning in his arms so I was facing him. "What about you?" "Wonderfully. I always sleep better with someone to hold on to." His answer made me think. Of course he would have had partners before me. It was rather silly to think there hadn't been. But now I was confronted with the idea, even if Ash didn't realize it. "Have there been many others?" I asked softly, not looking him in the eye. He didn't seem to hear me at first; caught up in his own little world. "Hmm? What did you say?" I repeated my question, and his expression became one of concern. "Not, not many," He replied, giving me a reassuring squeeze. "Only two men, actually. But there were also a few women, before I came out.." I smiled. Two men I could handle. Heck, I'd had more boyfriends than that, even if I was never in this particular position with any of them. And women I could deal with easily. That was a pretty common tale, and one I could understand easily. My hands found themselves on his tight stomach, running gently over the soft hairs that descended from his navel. Slowly I moved them up his chest, over his smooth skin until they were resting on both sides of his face. I gazed at his lips, pink and soft, before glancing into his eyes and bringing our mouths together. I parted my lips, sucking his bottom one into my mouth and pulling gently on it with my teeth. He moaned softly, and I felt his tongue trying to find it's way into my mouth. I was happy to oblige, and I silently blessed Craven for making me promise to call Ash. Oh shit! Craven! I'd completely forgotten about him. I pushed Ash away, breaking the kiss, cursing under my breath. "What is it? What's wrong? Did I do something...?" He seemed terrified that he had done something wrong. "No no, it's not you. I completely forgot to tell Craven I was going to spend the night! He must be worried sick about me!" I jumped out of bed, searching for a phone until it suddenly occurred to me that I was still naked. A flush of embarrassment passed over me, until I realized that Ash had already seen everything I had to show. There was a phone on Ash's side of the bed, and I crawled over him and the covers to reach it, sitting on his lap as I dialled the phone. "What?" Came Craven's less-than-cheerful voice over the phone. He was ever the morning person. At least I didn't have to worry about him waiting up all night with worry. "Crave? It's Dimitrios..." He didn't let me finish. "D?! Did you spend the night with him!? How was he!?" I blushed, and glanced at Ash, who had most likely heard everything Craven had said, given the volume at which he'd said it. "Do you really want to know that?" I could almost hear the gears turning in his head as he debated whether or not he could get over the icky ness of gay sex. "Arg! Alright! Yes! Fine! Tell me!" Ash and I both laughed out loud. By now I was holding the phone so we could both listen. "Craven, he has the most amazing cock I've ever seen." "Oh God! No! Never mind! I don't want to know! Ewww..." I grinned at Ash and gave him a quick kiss. "Listen, Crave, I have to go. I'm not sure when I'll be back. I'll call you before I do." "Alright," By the tone of his voice, I could tell he was still recovering from the 'cock; comment. "I might be going out with Fiona later, so call my cellular." "Roger. Talk to you later. Kiss kiss." "Fag," he muttered before hanging up. I returned the phone to the cradle and let myself drop back against the bed, draped over Ash's lap. "So, what do you want to do today?" "Hmm, I think I can come up with a few suggestions," Ash replied, leaning in to kiss me again. He let his lips linger against mine before pulling away. "Such as eating. I'm starved." We spent the rest of the morning completely naked as we fixed breakfast and just putzed around the apartment (by putzed, I mean kissing, groping, and other such activities.), ending up at last in the shower together. I took advantage of the time to really examine Ash's body. He was tight and hard, presumably from the police academy. Still young enough so that the effects of the doughnuts hadn't begun to show. He was uncannily hairless; with the exception of below his navel there was little more than a light dusting of blond hairs. I loved the way his skin felt under my touch. He was a few inches taller than me, and my eyes lined up perfectly with his lips, not that I was paying much attention to them at the moment. The shower was over all to soon, and we dressed, although it was reluctantly. I think we both would have preferred spending the entire day in the nude together. I dressed in my clothes from the night before, which were wrinkled from spending the night on the floor. "Well, if we plan to do anything together, I certainly need to stop at the dorm and get some clean clothes," I informed Ash as I tried to smooth out some of the wrinkles. "So you do," he chuckled. "How about we go for coffee afterward?" "Coffee? Are you mad? You just had coffee with breakfast!" "So? That was wake-up, brain-can't-function-without-it coffee. This is relaxing, share a cuppa with friends coffee. Completely different." I shook my head sadly. "See what all that caffeine has done to your brain?" I tapped him on the forehead to emphasize my point. "Let's not go to a coffee place, alright? I don't think my nerves can take a mochafrappalatachino." "Alll right," Ash said, sighing dramatically. "Where would you rather go?" I thought for a moment before genus hit. "I know! How about a picnic in the park? I have some friends who would love to go. Or we could just go alone. More romantic that way." "Actually, I'd love to meet some more of your friends. We can save romantic for later." The way he was grinning, I knew that 'later' wouldn't take long to get here. "Great. We'll stop at the dorm so I can get changed, and I'll call Allison and have her meet us there. He boyfriend will probably want to come as well. At least, Alley will make him want to come." Ash shook his head, but decided not to comment. "Right, so Allison and her boyfriend. Anyone else?" "Hmm. Maybe Craven? I doubt Fiona will be very thrilled to be eating on the ground, but to see her suffer is an added bonus!" Ash cringed. "You really don't like her, do you?" I shook my head. "Not really. Craven is too good for her. I can't imagine why he even dates her." I shook my head. "She's got nothing up here," I tapped my head to show Ash what I meant. "And what's worse, she doesn't seem to care. She likes being stupid." Ash nodded, but I could tell he was becoming uncomfortable with the subject. For a cop, he seemed to hate thinking ill of people, so I endeavoured to change the subject. "Do you have any idea what we should bring? Craven is still under age, so bringing anything alcoholic wouldn't be a good idea, especially seeing what your job is." I grinned at what I thought had been a witty comment, but Ash just nodded. If he had been aware that it was supposed to have been a joke, he showed no signs. "Well, I suppose we could bring lemon aide or iced tea or something," He suggested as he rummaged through his cabinets, apparently looking for something. "Wait, shouldn't you call these people and see if they can go before we plan the whole thing out?" I blushed and grinned sheepishly. "I guess that would be a good idea, yeah.. Um.. so plan on six of us?" Ash shrugged. "However many you want to invite." He smiled suddenly, a seductive gleam in his eyes. "It would certainly be much more romantic if it was just the two of us." As he spoke, he walked to where I was standing and slowly slid his hands around my body. I was in the middle of dialling Allison's number, but when he did that, I hung up instantly. He chuckled, and began kissing the back of my neck. I rolled my head forward and sighed. "You know, if you keep that up, we're never going to have this picnic. "That's fine by me," he whispered into my neck and he sucked and nibbled at the skin. I know I was going to have a huge hickey, but I didn't care. I leaned my head against his shoulder and prepared to give myself up to him, but just as I began to breath heavily, he pulled away and slapped me on the ass. "Better start calling your friends, sport." "You fucker!" I wasn't really as angry as I sounded, but Ash had done his best to get me going and then left me high and dry. "Don't worry," he said, after making sure there was a piece of furniture between us, "I'll make it up to you later. But seriously, if we're going to do this picnic, we don't have time to mess around." He became braver and ventured back into the kitchen, and began rummaging through cabinets again. "C'mon, get crackin'!" As it turned out, only Allison was available for our picnic. Crave and Fiona had plans they couldn't back out of, and Allison's boyfriend couldn't make it either. We settled in Forsyth park, under a large tree. There was a light breeze as we unpacked and arranged out lunch on the blanket. To the casual observer, I'm sure we looked like three friends out to enjoy the afternoon, but upon closer observation, they might have noticed that Ash and I seemed to hold each other's eye just a bit too long, and that Allison looked as though she felt out of place; like a third wheel. Without realizing it, Ash and I seemed to be excluding her from our conversation. "So guys!" Allison interrupted, in a last ditch effort to gain our attention. "How was it you guys met? Dimitrios never did give me the full story." He tone of voice sounded cheery, but by the look she gave me, and by the use of my full name, I knew she was annoyed with me, at least to a degree. "Well, I was borrowing Craven's car to do some errands, but I was speeding, and Ash pulled me over-" "Actually," Ash cut me off. "That's not exactly how things happened." "What? What are you talking about?" I was instantly curious as to what he had to say. "I um. When I pulled you over, it wasn't the first time I'd seen." I was dumbfounded by this new revelation. Ash had seen me before? When had this happened? And how could I have missed such a gorgeous cop? Before I had a chance to vocalize my questions, Ash turned to Allison and continued his story. "It's true that I pulled D over for speeding, and I gave him my phone number instead of a ticket, but I never would have done that if I didn't already know who he was." "So how was this?" I asked impatiently. It seemed to me that Ash was taking his sweet time getting to the point. "Um.. do you remember that gay party/rally that Brent Porter threw last month?" I nodded, wondering how Ash knew Brent, who was a relatively good friend of mine. The only thing that had kept me from dating him was the fact that he was a 'raging queen' as it were. Not very appealing to me in the least. But still, he was a great guy, and a good friend. "Well, I was there," Ash continued. "and I saw you from across the room, but I lost track of you before I could catch your attention. I didn't think I'd see you again, but when I pulled you over, and there you were, I had to do something." Allison was grinning broadly, "Awww, that's so sweet!" I had honestly just about forgotten she was there as Ash spoke. "Yeah, sweet. My boyfriend is a stalker!" I joked, but Ash didn't laugh. The look on his face was completely serious. I stopped in mid laugh, worried that I had said something wrong. "What? Is something wrong?" "You called me your boyfriend." "Oh, yeah. I guess I did. I didn't mean-" "No, it's alright." His lips were forming a smile, and I realized that while he had been shocked by my use of the word, he was defiantly not unhappy. I leaned forward and kissed him softly, my lips lingering against his longer than I had planned. "Guys! Guys!" We pulled apart and glanced at Allison in unison. "Get a room!" To Be Continued... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I know, this chapter is significantly shorter than the first, but when I got to that scene, I realized that anything more I wrote would be too much.
