Normally, I would have ridded myself of my little problem right away, but being a nice day and all, I decided to hold off. Something just whispered to me in the back of my head that something might happen today. It was a nice Tuesday in late July, only about 85 degrees with a slight wind, no clouds in sight, and generally a good day to go motorcycle riding. I had nothing better to do, and I figured I could at least get a look at some hot looking studs in the campgrounds. I left the house at 8:30, and rode off up the highway on my bike. I was headed for the National Forest about 20 miles up the road. On the way, I decided to ride over Shady Pass to Lake Chelan, knowing I could catch some glimpses of some guys sunning themselves on the beaches. I was totally engrossed in the scenery, and didn't notice that I was doing 5 MPH under the speed limit. I noticed a teal 1994 Ford Ranger 4X4 coming up behind me in the mirror. I started to drool over the truck, as I have always dreamed of having one, then I noticed the driver. He was about 22, short light brown hair, lean, chiseled face with Oakley sunglasses on, nicely tanned, and had a medium muscular build. Just as he passed me, I heard David Lanz and Paul Speer playing Behind the Waterfall, and could feel the bass thumping the air. His biceps and pecs flexed as he manuevered the wheel. He glanced at me as he passed, and gave a quick nod. My heart skipped a beat or two. I waved back at him, as he sped up the road. Then, I noticed he had a bike in the back of his truck. Yes! Maybe this weekend wouldn't be as boring as I thought! I sped up, and followed him up the road. One side of me was saying, This hot stud could NOT be gay, as he was just too good looking. The other side realized that this hot stud was listening to New Age music. I knew that what type of music you listen to does not determine if you are gay or not, but since such a hot looking stud WAS listening to New Age music, he must have had more open views and better taste than your common surfer/v-ball stud who only listen to rock or rap. It just flipped a small switch in my mind. I followed him past the turnoff for Shady Pass, and onto the road for Tommy Creek. Either he didn't notice me following him for the last 25 miles, or he didn't care. Obviously, it has to be the latter, because anyone could have seen my tongue dragging behind me on the road. He finally stopped at the North Tommy trailhead. I slowed to a stop as he stepped out of the truck and jumped into the bed. He said "Hello" as I walked toward him. He was wearing shorts, which were filled in nicely, both front and back, and Teva sandals. His legs were also tanned, and nicely muscled, not to mention his washboard stomach. It looked like he worked out daily. Now that he didn't have his sunglasses on I could see he had the clearest blue eyes I have ever seen. "Hi. Sorry about driving so slow back there, I was enjoying the scenery too much." He smiled, and took off his sunglasses. Shit! He had the bluest eyes I ever saw. My heart melted on the spot. "No problem, I was enjoying the drive also. Where 'ya headed?" he asked as he started untying the bike. Shit! Time for a quick answer here.. "I was just going to ride out to Marble Meadows, Mad Lake, and maybe stop at Klone Peak on the way to get some pictures. You?" "Sounds like you know the area pretty good. I have never been in the Mad Lake area before. It looked interesting on the map, so I decided to ride around a bit." "Yea, I know most of the trails in the area. I used to work for the Forest Service, and my Dad still does. He used to take me on all the trails around the Entiat area." "I kinda feel stupid asking this, but would you mind if I tagged along? I could use the company." He cracked a slight smile as he added: "And a tour guide." I could not believe this was happening. The hottest looking guy I have ever seen, and he wanted to spend the day with me! I could barely talk, but I quickly gathered my wits, and smiled back. "No problem, I would enjoy the company also. I'm John. I live here in the valley if you haven't guessed already." I extended my hand out for him. His handshake was gentle, but strong. He smiled and said "I'm Eric. I live in Wenatchee, and I'm always glad to make a new friend." I helped him roll the bike to the ground, and stood aside as he tried to start the bike. Fortunately, I was on the side with the kick starter, so I got a great long look at his leg as he pumped the starter. I was too busy admiring his muscular legs that I didn't notice that the bike wasn't starting, and he was looking at me. "Shit! The plug blew out again. It hasn't done this in a while, and I was hoping it wouldn't do it again." He got off the bike, and walked to the truck. "At least I remember to carry extras." I was worried that he caught me looking at his body. I nervously glanced around trying not to stare at him. "Fuck! It looks like I forgot to throw in an extra plug the last time this happened. It looks like I won't get to see Mad Lake this time. Sorry, but you'll have to go alone." From one aspect, he looked pissed and disappointed, but I thought I caught a glint in his eye. Hell, I got this far, I might as well go out on a limb here. I smiled and asked: "Well, if you still want me to be your tour guide, you can ride behind me if you like." Eric cracked another one of his dazzling smiles. "Really? Sure, I'd love to go. Help me get this piece of shit bike into the truck, and I'll get my stuff." Well, this wasn't turning out to be too bad of a Saturday, not to mention he was better looking than the guys I expected to scope out at the beach. And he was going to be with me the whole day! We got the bike back into the truck and locked to the bed, and he asked "Shouldn't we change into long pants?" "Not unless you feel like it. This trail is kept pretty clear, and there isn't too much to worry about." "I was hoping you would say that, it's oo warm for anything but shorts. Let me change into sneakers though." I watched as he changed into a pair of well-worn Nike Cross-Trainers and Nike ankle socks. I topped off the tank with the extra that I always bring, then rearranged the fuel container, and my gear to make room for Eric. I strapped his pack on top of mine. I was relieved that he didn't put on a shirt. Eric climbed on the bike first, and got himself situated comfortably on the bike. I took one last quick look at him before I got on. With his feet propped on the passenger pegs, his calves were pumped up, and as he leaned back on the packs to stretch, his muscular chest rippled under the skin. Seeing this hot young stud on my bike, really put me over the edge. I started to get hard. I quickly got on the bike so he wouldn't see it through my shorts. We both put on our helmets, and I started the bike. After checking to see if he was ready, I drove down the trail. I took my time since it was only 9:30, and it only took 30 min. to get to the meadows, as it was only 7 miles. He rode like he was an expert. He leaned on the corners when I did, and didn't move around much. I was kinda disappointed because he kept his hands on the hand holds on the side of the bike. We could talk and pretty much hear each other since I wasn't driving too fast. He asked questions like: How long have I lived in Entiat? How often do I get out like this? How old was I? Where was I going to school? and Did I have a girlfriend? I answered them quickly and he told me his answers also until he asked the last one. I thought for a sec, and said: "No, not anymore. We broke up a few years back, because I just didn't know what I wanted in a relationship yet, and we just didn't love each other anymore." I heard him mumble something like "Maybe I can help" or something like that. No, it wasn't possible. He was straight. He HAD to be! I asked him if he had a girlfriend, and he said: "Not anymore, I am about like you. I dated alot back in high school, but I guess I wasn't ready for a relationship yet." We rode in silence for another mile or so when I felt his arms close around my waist. "Do you mind? My arms are getting a bit cramped from the position of the handles." Of course not! This only made me harder and hoped he wouldn't feel it and get pissed. "No, go right ahead. Whatever makes you comfortable." I kinda got the feeling like he wanted to say something else, but didn't know how to say it. I didn't want to take the chance and say something and get the shit beat out of me. So I decided to keep going like we were, and let him make the first move, if there was going to be one. About 4 miles in, I stopped to look at the view, both in the mirror, and the countryside. "This is great! I can't believe the color of that lake down there!" I wanted to tell him that it didn't even compare with the color of his eyes, but I said: "Yea, it is nice up here. In another mile, we can go to the top of Klone Peak, and see Mt. Rainier, Glacier Peak, Mt. Baker, and the Entiat River. It even gets better than this." "It sure would be nice to take a dip in that lake, is there a way down to it?" If there wasn't, I would cut one in myself, I thought, just to be able to watch him swim! "The only way is to walk the last half mile down to it. You wanna go?" "Sure! That water sure looks refreshing." I started up the trail again, shifted myself on the bike a bit when I thought I felt a hard cock rubbing on my ass. I was sure of it! Eric then repositioned himself so I didn't fell it anymore. I was almost sure of what he had on his mind, but still was hesitant about doing anything. At that moment, he dropped his arms just enough to touch the tip of my cock, hesitated, then raised them again. "Sorry, arms are getting tired." "No problem, shouldn't be too long 'til we reach the lake" I then felt him gently, almost innocently rub his fingers across my stomach, and trace a circle around my navel. He then placed both hands on my stomach, and lightly rubbed them up and down my abdomen. "You don't mind do you?" I figured this stud HAD to be gay. If not, I would find out here and now. "No, actually it feels great. Go ahead." "Sorry if this offends you, but I have to admit that I am attracted to you." YES! I have waited years for a hot stud to say that to me! And here we are almost to a remote mountain lake to go swimming. "It doesn't offend me. I am attracted to you also. I just can't believe that someone as good looking as you is gay." "Well, these are new feelings for me. You are the first guy I have ever been with like this. I am really nervous." "You can't even come close to being as nervous as I am. This is my first time also." I paused for a second, looked at him in the mirror then I said: "I have to admit something here. I really was on my way to Lake Chelan today." Eric smiled. "What?" "Yea, I was bored this weekend, so I thought I would go to the beach and scope out some hot guys, and look at what I have here." His smile broadened. "So, what made you come up here?" "When you passed me, you nodded at me. Something clicked, and when I heard David Lanz playing, I knew something was up. I just decided to follow, and act if I was going to the same place you were. The hot looking jock types either don't listen to New Age music, or just don't want people knowing that they listen to it. Since you didn't mind letting someone know that you listen to David Lanz, I just had a feeling, like you weren't self conscious and stuck up like the others. And I was right." He grinned, "Rock is O.K., but you just have to be in the right mood for it. I guess that I am different in that I do like to keep myself in good shape, but I would rather keep my mind on other people, and the scenery, rather than on my own body. I have found that there is nothing better to help me relax, than driving in the woods listening to New Age, especially David Lanz and Paul Speer." Eric paused for a second, then, "I have to admit something also. The bike runs fine. I just had the kill switch on. I felt you watching me, and was hoping you would offer to let me ride with you." I stopped the bike, and put the kickstand down. "You mean we both were getting signals from each other," "and neither of us knew what to do about it." he completed. "I drew my leg over the tank, and sat with both legs on the ground sideways on the bike, and looked into his eyes. He leaned forward and our lips met. It was like a clasp had been released from my chest. I finally felt free. I found what I really wanted. His tongue found its way into my mouth, and I found my way into his. For the first time in my life, I got to feel what a hot stud's body and mouth felt like. I ran my hands over his chest, rubbing his hard nipples between my fingers. He had his hands up my shirt and all over my chest and stomach. I felt his firm pecs flex beneath my hands. He cupped my face between his hands as we still kissed. I caressed his arms and felt his large biceps flexing as he continued to caress my face. This is what I have been missing in my relationships! Then I heard the motors of bikes in the distance and I drew away. "Sorry, but I don't think most people would appreciate two guys kissing in the forest." He smiled, and quickly kissed me again. "No problem, I can wait. Since we are out here, we might as well see the sights." God I love him! And he's all mine. I listened, and pinpointed that the bikes were still about 3 miles behind us, up on the hill. I got back on the bike, and started up the trail. Eric leaned up against me and wrapped his arms around me tight. "I have been waiting to do this for some time now." Eric relaxed a bit, and rested his hands on my thighs, while still leaning up against my back. Whenever the trail straightened out enough for me to drive with one hand, I would place my left hand on his. I was flushing with joy. I was in heaven! I still couldn't believe that this hunk was attracted to me! After another 10 minutes, I arrived at the trail to turn up to Klone Peak. I stopped and asked Eric if he wanted to see a great view of the area. He said sure, and I rode the quarter mile to the top of Klone Peak. He got off the bike to stretch, and walk to the edge of the cliff. Klone Peak is extremely steep on one side, with cliffs and rock outcroppings, and the other side, is pretty much a sheer drop-off. Since it is so tall, We had a great view of Mt. Rainier, Glacier Peak, Mt. Baker, and many other smaller peaks. The day was relatively clear, with no cloud in sight other than the ones that always hover over the Cascades. Also from this vista point, I could see the bikers that were behind us. They were still stopped on top of the last hill looking at the view, which was about 15 min. back on the trail. With that thought, I led Eric over to a rock outcropping on the opposite side on the peak from the bikers' view, and we sat down. As we looked over the valley before us, Eric leaned over and placed his arm around my shoulders and pulled me tight. I wrapped my arm around his strong back and just leaned there in ecstasy, just savoring the warmth and feeling of Eric's tight body. Then, Eric brought his strong hand to my face, and turned it so our eyes met. I couldn't believe the deepness of the blue of his eyes. I am not kidding when I say that a dark mountain lake is no comparison to the color of his eyes. Slowly, our mouths met once more. I wrapped both arms around him while I explored his mouth. Surprisingly, I got even harder at this feeling. As we continued to kiss, I thought about what exactly I had here. Here was this hot looking stud, whom in all rights should be straight, and he is kissing me! It was just too much to believe. I pulled away for a second just to look at him. "What's wrong?" he asked. "Nothing's wrong, I just wanted to take a look at you again. I still can't believe this is happening to me." "Well, maybe this will clear things up." he smiled, as he pulled me to kiss again. Then I felt his hand start caressing my cock. I ran my hand down the front of his chest, stopping briefly to rub his hard nipples and feel his taut pecs, the continued slowly to his cock. I wrapped my hand around his erect pole, which I later found out to be eight inches, and started to stroke it. As soon as I touched him, he flinched slightly, and when I started to stroke, he broke away and arched his head back in pleasure with a low moan. I kissed his neck and dropped down to his nipple, where I ran my tongue around its perimeter and gently sucked on it. I loved how he tasted. The slight smell of his deodorant, the smell of his after shave, and the slight salty taste of sweat all mingled together into one mind numbing euphoria. It felt like I was high. All of a sudden, Eric sat up straight, and looked back towards the bike. I turned around and listened also. The bikes were climbing the trail on the way up here. Shit! I looked at my watch, it had been about 20 minutes since I last checked on them. I totally lost track of the time. We got up and returned to the bike. They would be here in another minute or so. I gave Eric another quick kiss and he mounted the bike, and I climbed on next. We both were trying to conceal our erections. Fortunately, I was wearing loose shorts, so it didn't show much. Eric had on tight shorts, but he was right up against my back, so his didn't show either. We both put on our sunglasses, he had the Oakley's, and I had Serrengetti Drivers. I started the bike, and pulled off the side of the trail as there wasn't much room on top for many bikes and waited. Two bikes finally came around the corner and slowed to see what we were going to do. I waved for them to continue. The lead rider nodded and they accelerated up the hill coming to a stop next to us. They appeared to be father and son. The father was in the front, and looked to be about forty or so. His son was about 17, wearing a tank top which showed his well muscled arms and chest. Still, he didn't compare to the sight I had in the mirror. "Where are you guys headed?" the first biker asked. "Out to Marble Meadows, Mad Lake, and looping around the Tyee trail back this way. You?" A couple times when I looked at his son, I caught him starting at Eric with his mouth part way open, as Eric still didn't have a shirt on. I would glance at him, and he would quickly turn and look the other way. Hmm. That's interesting! It also appeared he had a growing bulge in his jeans. I wondered if Eric noticed this also. "Sounds like a great ride. This is as far as we are going. I wanted to get some pictures, and we will head back and go up Shady Pass." Yes! I thought. Maybe we will be alone out here. "Great day for pictures, a little smoky, but pretty clear." "Yea it is. Should be nice riding." I tapped Eric's right leg and he looked at me in the mirror. I nodded my head slightly in the direction of the young kid, and Eric nodded and smiled back. "Well, we had better get going as we have a long ride ahead. Have fun!" "Well, you guys have fun, and be careful!" I nodded and started the bike again, and headed down the trail. As soon as we hit the main trail again I stopped and turned around to Eric and said: "Did you see that kid starting at you like that?" "Yea I did. I kept my head pointing forward, and he couldn't see my looking at him through my sunglasses. He kept looking at my chest. I flexed my biceps and pecs a couple of times, and his jaw almost dropped! He was even getting a hard on looking at me." "Well, I guess there are more of us out there that we think." "Apparently so. At least I don't have to worry about that problem any more." he smiled. "Neither do I." We kissed again for a second or two, then I continued up the trail. We rode in silence for the next mile, just enjoying the feel of each other's bodies. When we arrived at the junction with the Blue Creek/Two Little Lakes trail, I stopped the bike long enough to query Eric on if he still wished to go for a swim. "How far is it around the loop?" "It is about 15 miles total, with a few stops along the way. You wanna wait until we get back here? We will probably really be warmed up then." "That sounds great! It is a little cooler this far up, but I could still handle taking a dip later on." I got off the bike, and asked "You feel like driving for a bit?" Eric smiled and scooted forward, letting me on behind him. As he started the bike, I placed my hands around his tight waist, and let my fingers rest on his washboard stomach. He turned to me and said: You be sure to tell me where to turn, as I have no idea where to go." "Just keep to the main trails, turn left at the next major junction, unless you see someplace you wanna go." As we started up the trail, I leaned up against his strong back and ran my hands up to his pecs. I traced the defined edge of the muscle with my fingers, letting them drop into his deep, smooth sternum. For the next mile, I continued to caress his chest and abs. When we came to the junction, Eric stopped the bike. "Where does the trail lead to the right?" "Out to Marble Meadows, and down the Shetipo trail to Cottonwood. Marble Meadows is mostly just many small ponds covering a large meadow system. The Shetipo Trail is too steep and has too many roots and rocks to travel on a bike." "O.K. Mad Lake is just up here then?" "Yea, it is about a mile and a half to the left." We turned and took the left trail to Mad Lake. I was enjoying the ride, as I got to see more than I usually do when driving. Not to mention, the scenery was better too. Most of the time I spent leaning against him with my arms around his waist. Until he pulled the bike off the trail, and said: "Another bike coming." I immediately leaned back against the packs and placed my hands on the passenger handles, looking like they had been there the whole time. After a minute, a single bike with a man driving, and his wife or girlfriend sitting behind him slowly rode by us. He smiled and nodded at us, while she smiled and was scoping out Eric's build. As we continued, I quickly looked back and caught her looking back at Eric. I smiled to myself at how lucky I was to have someone as great looking as Eric to myself. After a few minutes, we caught a glimpse of Mad Lake. I tapped Eric on his leg and pointed to the right, towards the lake. He nodded and turned down the small trail leading to the lake. Eric pulled the bike up near one of the picnic tables and coasted to a stop. I let him get off the bike first, and as he stretched and flexed his legs, and as I kept an eye on him, I untied the packs and walked over to the table. He was standing there in awe gazing at the lake. I followed his gaze and caught my breath as I took in the scenery. I have never actually 'looked' at the landscape like this before. The green ceanothus, alder, small leaf maple, huckleberries, pine grass, thimbleberries, and Doug Fir and Ponderosa Pine trees blanketed the hillside, which was dappled with outcroppings of rock and various small waterfalls cascading into the lake. The crystal blue-green lake sat nestled in a small bowl at the base of this colorful hillside, with Mad River gurgling out of the southeastern edge. There was a grassy meadow that led down to the lake, which Eric was walking towards. Shit! I was so caught up in the beauty of the area that I didn't even notice Eric had left! I wondered if he has said anything and I was just spaced off? The sight of Eric standing in the meadow with the sun highlighting his muscular frame could only make this even better to look at. I retrieved my camera from my pack, and snapped a couple of quick shots. I started down towards the lake when Eric called, "Could you please bring my camera? It is in the back pocket of my pack." I turned back and found his camera. Hmm. We have more things is common than I thought we would. We both had Minolta Maxxum 7000's. I wondered what other things we shared... "This is beautiful! I have never seen anyplace like this before!" Eric gasped as I handed him his camera. "Yea it is! You know, I actually have never really noticed that it was this nice before. I have heard that things are always better if you have someone special to share it with." Eric smiled as he knelt down at the edge of the water, "Well, I guess we will find out won't we?" He swirled his hand in the water. I smiled back. "I wouldn't mind doing a little research sometime." "This water isn't too bad. It would feel nice to jump in later today" I knelt down and tested it myself. "No, it isn't bad is it? Normally, it's a little colder than this." Eric stood up and glanced at his watch. "I can't believe it's already 11:30! Why don't we have lunch, and then go exploring? I would like to get some slow-motion shots of those waterfalls." We walked back to the table, and I wondered where the usual tourists were. Not that I missed them, just that it seemed that things were working together too well today, almost like everyone planned this. We both sat on the side on the table facing the lake. I handed Eric's pack to him, and he started getting things together. I pulled out my lunch and removed my sandwich and a bottle of water. The first thing Eric pulled out was a Sony Discman and a pair of amplified speakers. He looked at me and smiled. "You mind if we listen to a little Lanz and Speer?" "Of course not. I could listen to them anytime." He started the disc, and after a few seconds, I recognized 'Miranova', which is the first track on 'Natural States'. What a choice of discs! We both ate in silence for the next 10 minutes, just enjoying each other's company, and capturing the spectacular view. We sat close enough that our legs could touch, and occasionally, we would hold hands. We each had turkey breast sandwiches with sprouts on whole wheat. I couldn't wait to see how much more we had in common. After we finished and cleaned up, we locked the bikes and started hiking towards the far side of the lake. "Where did you want to go first?" he asked. "The easiest way to get near the top is to cut through these trees on the right. There is an old game trail there. It winds up the hill, and crosses up near that field of talus about three-quarters up." "Sounds good. You have been up here many times I guess?" "Yea, this is the first place my Dad brought me on the bikes. We would come up here for a week at a time, just relaxing, and exploring all the trails and hillsides." "That's great. I have always wanted to explore this entire valley, preferably with someone who knows the area well." "Well, I can show you around the valley if you want, I never grow tired of showing off this area." "What other places are good to see?" We hit the base of the hill, and found the trail. Eric went first, giving me a great view of his legs flexing as he stepped over rocks and stobs. As we ascended the hill, we continued talking. "Well, Silver Falls is a nice quick hike, only a little over a mile, but you can get some nice shots of the falls. My favorite is the Entiat Glacier." "I have heard a little about the Glacier. How far is that?" "After you hit Cottonwood campground, you hike 15 miles up the Entiat River Trail, into the Glacier Peak Wilderness. It is breathtaking! Snow caves, dozens of meadows, and hundreds of waterfalls to explore." "That sounds great! When does the snow melt enough to get up there?" "Actually, anytime now is fine. The snow usually melts in early July. What are you doing this weekend?" "Looks like I am going up to the glacier!" he smiled. "Where are you working? We will need to leave on Friday to be able to have a full day to explore." "I work at a credit union in Wenatchee, and I am off for two weeks on vacation. You?" "The Forest Service didn't rehire for the timber crew, so I am just hanging out until this fall. I will be moving to Spokane to go to school." We continued in silence for a couple of minutes. We hiked on the small, abandoned trail, which wound through pine grass, thimbleberries, huckleberries, and a smattering of ceanothus. We were almost to where the trail cut across the talus slope. "You didn't say anything about me moving to Spokane." I stated. "I was just thinking. When are you moving?" "I will probably go around September 1st. School starts on the 19th." "I noticed a transfer available to a bank in Spokane. I didn't pay any attention to it until now. What would you think if I also moved to Spokane?" I smiled to myself. "I'm not sure if I could stand it without you, but I don't want you to rush to any conclusions just yet. Think it over for a bit." "Well, I have been thinking of relocating somewhere, and there IS an opening at the moment." **** Well, This is as far as I have reached so far... I am hoping to make this into about a 150 page book here real soon. I just wanted to know what needed to be changed to make it better...
