Date: Thu, 27 Aug 2015 02:50:34 +0000 From: David Lee Subject: Family Matters, Chapter 20 Family Matters, Chapter 20 Jennifer and Ron had felt guilty about being away from their son's bedside for several hours in the night until they slipped into his hospital room and observed the two boys nestled together on the narrow hospital bed. It was evident that their presence had not been required. They felt revitalized, albeit, a bit sleepy. They had made love several times, napping between interludes of hot, gratuitous sex. Being alone in the house with no one around to hear their cries of lust and ecstasy, they had experienced more satisfaction than they had since their honeymoon. Jennifer wasn't on the pill and Ron had offered to use a condom, but when the first one tore in his haste to get sheathed, they decided to do without it. He had an overwhelming need to bust a nut, and she wanted to feel his hot cum in and on her body. She said he could pull out the last minute and baptize her. If the ancient method of birth control failed, and she ended up pregnant, she wouldn't complain. The thought of siring another child made him even hornier. He felt like a stallion! Memories of a canoe trip nearly 18 years ago came to mind. His first orgasm left a trail from her chin to her pubes. The second one bathed her vagina thoroughly. He tasted his jizz as he brought her more pleasure with his tongue Then they slept. When they awoke, they started all over again. After their second nap, they fooled around in the shower and then they made a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs before dressing to go to the hospital. ---------- Now, watching their son and his boyfriend sleep, they cuddled on the sofa, still reveling in their closeness. They, too, were drifting off when a new nurse came in to check on Austin. She immediately fussed at Rory for being in bed with her patient. Austin came to his defense just as quickly. "He was MY boyfriend long before I was YOUR patient!" Austin told her. "I insisted that he crawl in bed with me so I wouldn't have nightmares. Having him hold me made all the difference. Do you have any idea what I've been through?" "It's still against hospital policy and he will have to leave if he doesn't follow the rules." "Can't you cut them a little slack?" Ron asked, as he arose, standing tall and looking imposing in his camouflage fatigues. "My son was near death from the attack he suffered. His buddy's presence has helped him deal with it. I know all about rules, but I allowed a few irregularities to keep the morale of my men up in Afghanistan." "Well, I, uh... What do you intend to do?" "I'm not threatening to go over your head, if that's what you mean; I'm merely asking you to think of the welfare of my boy." "I guess I can forget what I saw. I served in a medical unit over there, and I know what you're saying." "Thank you for your service and your kindness!" After the nurse had left, Austin smiled at his father. "Thanks for backing me up, Dad." "That's a father's job, as long as his son isn't harming anyone by his actions. I meant what I said about Rory's presence being a healing agent." "Yes it is, and I meant what I said about the nightmares. I've had a lot of strange dreams which I can't seem to separate from reality." "What were they like?" Rory asked. "You were tied to a bench, naked, and Evan threatened to cut your throat. I ran around trying to get help, but he got me in the corner and then I woke up." "That was no dream. You're recalling bits and pieces of what happened on Friday afternoon." "Can you fill me in on the rest?" "I don't know if I should. I'm not sure if it'll make it better or worse." Before Austin could push further, they were interrupted by a team of nurses and doctors, so he didn't get his curiosity satisfied for some time. When the medical people left, Austin's breakfast tray arrived. His meal consisted of a bowl of thin Cream of Wheat, a slice of soggy buttered toast, and a glass of apple juice. "I feel like Oliver Twist in the orphanage," Austin complained. "I suppose if I finish this gruel, I'll be mocked if I ask for more." "Don't blame me," the delivery girl said. "Anybody who's had surgery and hasn't eaten recently gets pretty much of a liquid diet. You're lucky you got limp toast! If you keep it down okay and are still hungry, ask a nurse for a snack. No one's gonna starve you." "Come one, stud, you have to build up your strength if you wanna get out of here." Rory advised. "It's spring break and we don't want to spend all of it in the hospital." "Okay, I'll try, if you feed me." Rory was going to make a smart-ass reply, but decided against it. He was so relieved that Austin was recovered enough to fuss about the food, that he kept his mouth shut. Besides, he loved babying him. With breakfast over, it was time to get up to walk the hall. The nurse brought in a portable IV stand and a robe to cover Austin's backside. He started out with great bravado, but found that he wasn't as strong as he thought he was. He hated to admit it in front of his family and Rory. "Man, I can't believe I'm such a wuss!" "Don't feel bad." The nurse said. "I've seen big beefy construction workers give up before going as far as you have. The more you do this, with rest time between, the more quickly you'll build your strength back up." "Can my buddy take me walking again a little later then?" "Certainly. You probably won't need this stand by afternoon. I think we'll take away the IV bag as long as you're able to take food and water." "I'll do my best," Austin promised. Lunch proved to be a little more substantial, and Austin ate every scrap. Without his IV tube in the way, he had no excuse not to feed himself. Rory brought his lunch on a tray from the cafeteria so they could eat together. Ron and Jennifer did the same when he returned. ---------- Now that Austin was ambulatory, everyone wanted a piece of him. The occupational therapist came to see him in the afternoon. She took him down to a room where he could try getting in and out of a car, and perform several other ordinary tasks. Austin had no problem with any of them, other than tiring easily. Austin felt better about being out in public after Rory lent him an extra pair of underwear, shorts, and a T-shirt that Landon and Michael had brought. He hated the hospital gowns and robes. Being dressed more like a normal teen, except for wearing the non-slip socks, improved his outlook a lot. In the late afternoon, after Rory had taken Austin on a longer walk, the doctor came to check on his progress. "I see no reason why you should stay here much longer. I will discharge you tomorrow morning if nothing comes up to prevent it. If you don't have a fever or infection, you'll heal faster at home." "Yay! Rory can wait on me there as easily as here." "Um, I have to work at the store all day. Don't you remember? We were supposed to work half days together three times this week, but I'm working a full shift to cover your hours as well as mine." "I'm sorry you have to take up the slack for me." "Don't be! We'll still have the same amount of money to put in our car fund. Besides, you saved my life!" "We don't know that. Anyway, you'd have done the same in my place." ---------- When Ron dropped him off at home in the evening, Rory took a leisurely hot shower. Wanting to save himself for Austin, he resisted the urge to jack off, and put on a pair of basketball shorts to take Charlie out. He hugged his furry friend before going to bed. Charlie wasn't a substitute for Austin, but he was a companion. With one of Austin's unwashed T-shirts on his pillow, Rory slept alone in his own bed for the first time in days. Having room to stretch out made him feel better, but it still took him awhile to settle down. However, once he managed to drop off, it was like the sleep of the dead. He hadn't realized how exhausted he was. When his alarm went off in the morning, it didn't disturb him in the least. He woke up to something warm and wet on his face. "Austin, what are you doing?" he mumbled before he became conscious enough to realize Charlie was licking his face. "Oh my God, you just saved my butt, Charlie! I've got to get moving if I'm gonna make it to work on time." Having showered the night before, Rory was able to make quick work of his ablutions. He ran his shaver across his face, brushed his teeth, washed up a bit, dressed quickly, and applied fresh deodorant. Grandma had his breakfast ready and his lunch packed when he got to the kitchen. "Grandma, you're spoiling me; not that I mind. I didn't expect you to make my lunch and breakfast." "You deserve a little spoiling," Marian replied putting an arm around his shoulders as he sat down. "You've been under a lot of stress. I think you should have taken the day off from the store." "They're short-handed because Austin can't work, and a couple of the regulars went on vacation. One of them didn't even bother to let the manager know he'd be gone. I'll bet he won't have a job when he comes back. They're hiring a couple of new guys who can take up the slack pretty soon." "It's wise of you to be dependable. That will help get you a good recommendation someday. When you're ready, I can put Corbin in his car seat and we can give you a ride." "No, I'll be fine on my bike. I need the exercise after sitting so much the past couple of days, and the morning air will wake me up." ---------- Everyone at the supermarket asked about Austin, including Bill, the manager. He was especially interested in how the healing process was going, and helped Rory stock cans on the shelves in the soup aisle while they talked. "I appreciate both of you," Bill said. "Thanks for calling me Saturday to let me know you wouldn't be in yesterday. Having advanced notice allowed me to fill the slot so we weren't overwhelmed." "You're welcome. You know I don't miss without a good reason." ---------- At the end of his shift, Rory was more worn out than usual. He had always thought teenagers had unlimited endurance, but now believed that men in their 20's and 30's might have more stamina than they did at 16, like Coach Morgan had told them. He checked his messages on the way to his bike. There was an "urgent" one from Austin asking him to sleep over. He called home to clear it before texting back. Marian had fixed homemade German potato salad, sauerkraut, and a spinach salad with bacon and strawberries, topped with a dressing made of oil, vinegar, and brown sugar. These were to complement the brats which Michael was grilling. Not long after parking his bike, Rory was enjoying one of his favorite summertime meals. After dinner, he took a quick shower and put on a pair of camo shorts and an olive drab shirt. He dabbed a tiny amount of 007 cologne behind his ears as a finishing touch. He looked and smelled great. With his gym bag packed, he planned to ride his bike over to Austin's house. "Oh, here, you'll need these," Grandma smiled, handing him the keys to her Corolla. "I can't take your car. How will you get home tonight or back in the morning?" "I'll be driving my LaCrosse," she informed him. "Mildred was going to trade it in on a new one, but the dealer wouldn't give her what it was worth, so she sold it to me instead. I hope you don't mind having an old Toyota. I had planned to save it for your next birthday, but I think you need it sooner." "Oh Grandma, this is awesome!" he replied, bending down to hug her and kiss her cheek. "Maybe I can take Austin out for ice cream or something if he's up to it." "Maybe, but don't wear the boy out. He may need more time to recuperate than you realize." "I'll be careful. Thanks again, a million times!" Marian smiled broadly as she watched him carefully back down the drive. She was pleased to be able to make his life a little easier, thanks to Mildred's generosity. If it weren't for people like Mildred and the two young men who took him in, Lord only knew where he would be. ---------- Austin was sitting on the front steps getting a bit of fresh air when Rory pulled up to the curb. "Hey Boyfriend, how did you manage to get Grandma's car?" "It's not hers anymore; it's ours." "For real?" "Yup. She has Aunt Mildred's used Buick and she's giving me this as an early birthday present. Now we're mobile! Of course, we don't have a lot of places to go other than work." "Can't we drive it to school?" "Sure. We can use it to go see a movie or whatever we want. Would you like to get a Dairy Queen cone dipped in hot fudge?" "Awesome! Let me clear it with the `rents. They're being a bit protective right now." ---------- "I'm kinda surprised they let you out since you only got sprung from the hospital today," Rory grinned, as they drove toward their destination. "I think they're planning to have some `play time' while I'm out of the house. They're hornier than a couple of teenagers on prom night," Austin snickered as he laid his left hand on the bulge in Rory's shorts. "Damn! You'd better watch it. I don't think your doctor is going to say you're healthy enough for sexual activity, like they talk about in the Viagra commercials." "He said it was okay." "You asked him?" Rory gasped. "Well, not exactly. It was s-o-o-o embarrassing. It would have been worse if mom had been there. Dad insisted she go to her hair appointment which she'd forgotten to cancel. He dropped her at the mall and came alone to sign me out." "So how did the subject come up? Did you pitch a tent in your shorts?" "No, the doctor was telling me to take it easy and giving me some examples of what not to do. For instance, I'm not to play any contact sports for a month, including soccer, football, - even basketball, though I can shoot hoops if I'm careful. I can't bench press or use the fly machine and stuff like that which would put pressure on my chest. I'm not even supposed to do pushups since they could pull on my stitches. That's when my smart-ass father said, `I suppose that rules out the missionary position' and my face turned red." "You were embarrassed? You who told Nurse Tom that your parents were home fucking each other's brains out?" "That was the medication talking, not me. You know I don't say things like that to strangers." "So, what did the doctor say?" "He laughed and said it wouldn't be a good idea to lean on my elbows to have sex, but that didn't mean I had to avoid orgasms that were induced in other ways. In fact, he reminded me that a teen's body will `expel excess ejaculate in nocturnal emissions' if a guy doesn't get relief in some other way." "So, he basically said jack off or get sucked off unless you want a wet dream?" Rory grinned. "Yup, but in more clinical terms. I'm sure Dad said what he did on purpose so we'd know it was okay to get me off. I, um, kinda thanked him when we were in the car later. He said he wouldn't bring it up in front of Mom. Then, he asked me if we needed any `supplies' and I told him we were fine." "It's so cool you can have a conversation like that with your dad," Rory said with a hint of sadness. "It is, and I know he'll do the same for you if you want. We also have Landon and Michael. I suspect if we need any tips about intercourse, they'd be the ones to go to. That might be a little much for both Dad and us." ---------- After getting their treats from the drive-up window, Rory parked at the edge of the lot so they could open the doors and sit on the edges of their seats and be less likely spill on the spotless upholstery as they might if the car were in motion. Austin got a big grin on his face as he turned toward Rory and bit the end off of the now-hard chocolate shell, sucking a little of the melting ice cream out in a suggestive manner. Rory followed his example, licking the underside of the chocolate as well. "God, you're making me horny!" Austin exclaimed. "You started it," Rory grinned. "Yeah, but I didn't lick it like this," Austin said as he flicked his tongue like he was teasing a big cock. Both of them popped boners in the process. It was obvious that they could hardly wait to share Austin's bed. They leaned in toward the console and stopped licking their cones long enough to share some tongue in a deep kiss. When they came up for air, they saw Thad leaning against their car with a lascivious grin on his face. "Dayum! There must be a new additive in Dairy Queen these days!" "Hey Thad, how're you doin'?" Austin giggled. "I'm okay, and it appears that you're alive and well," Thad said. "No thanks to Evan," Rory frowned. "Yeah, I heard. I tried to come to the hospital, but they said only family was allowed." "I was there `cause I'm family," Rory smiled. "How'd you pull that off?" "Austin's mom called me her son from the beginning and everyone at the hospital assumed we were brothers!" "Cool! Didn't anyone lecture you about incest?" he joked. "We didn't do anything like that," Austin blushed. "Rory did help me with my bath, however." "Did he wash your teeny weenie?" "Nope, I bathed his big brat," Rory countered, with a big grin. "I stand corrected; I've seen him in the locker room. So, are you boys going to ride around for a while?" "We can't. I have to give sausage boy a shower and put him to bed soon. He hasn't been out of the hospital very long, and he needs his beauty sleep." "Yeah, he has an antiseptic air about him. You'd better hose him down before you bed him down." "Oh, I plan to!" Rory snickered. "If you don't wear him out tonight, Paul and I might drop over tomorrow afternoon," Thad said. "I should to be picking up my car in the morning." "I just got mine - ours, today," Rory told him. "This is yours? I know it's not brand new, but it looks perfect!" "Grandma kept it up well. She got a newer one, so this is for my birthday." "You're lucky. I hope I can find something as good." Paul came out of the door with two shakes and handed one to Thad. Rory invited them to sit in the back seat and keep them company for a while. Since the other guys had walked over, Rory gave them a ride to Thad's house because Paul was staying over. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Author's notes: Thank to the following for your responses this week: : Mike D, Jon S, Thomas A, Martell D, Ott H, Jay E, Jeremy R, Geoff, Bill K, Hotrod, Jim L, Douglas and Lawrence, Mendy D, Dick M, Zero, Tom A, Jeff M, Walt S, Trish R, John L, and Archie D. It's always nice to be appreciated! Speaking of which, we are fortunate to have a free site like Nifty for reading lots of good stuff. I'm very lucky to have two fine editors who keep fixing my errors. Here are a few links you might enjoy. As you can see, they run the gamut. I think the gay comic of Indian descent is really fun. And, I can see some of my character having a cabin somewhere made out of shipping containers. I hope the last one link works okay. It's a bit lengthy, but it is enlightening about our relationship with Iran. It's not surprising that some of them don't trust us!
