I woke with a start, Sam was tapping my shoulder and I looked at my watch, it was six. "Of course baby." I smiled at him. "Is papa okay?' "Yes son, he's resting." I wiggled myself out of the sun lounge and Kasey slept on, it's been a big day for him. "Do you want a cool drink baby?" "I got me some milk." "Okay, good boy." I ruffled his hair and then went to look in the fridge for something for dinner. I couldn't be bothered cooking so I ordered up big from the restaurant. There was a knock on the door and a smiling Trish with a wine in hand appeared. "Have you had dinner I have just ordered, but I can get more." "No Adam, we will have some lasagna if we can?" "Of course my lovely." I rang downstairs and added to my order and then I opened another bottle of wine. Sam was laying sideways on the sofa and I could hear his giggles so I deemed him okay for the moment. She looked around and I told her Kase was out on the balcony asleep. "Evans was telling me he was pissed off when they were at the pub." "He was, when I got in and he was almost attacking dad, it was a madhouse." "I wondered why they weren't still here. He should have warned Kasey, it was an unexpected announcement to all of us." "Yes it was and before you ask, I don't know why he did that. But I will be talking to him on Monday, that's for sure." "Well don't burn any bridges, as Evans and Wilson said he would have a good reason for doing it." "Kasey thinks he did it so his security will be elevated, he now gets passwords to many top secret documents. I think dad is trying to help him but I can't help but wonder if this is just the tip of a very big iceberg." "Me also Adam, Evans said Kasey will now be able to look anything up with the tip of his finger." I sat back and thought about it, I won't get mad with dad. Kasey came in and he looked like he had been sleeping for a week. I went and got his glass and poured him another drink as he sat and smiled at Trish. "Did you damage him?" She laughed, there was no way Kasey would damage dad. "No, but I have perfected a mean headlock he wouldn't be able to get out of if it comes to that." His good smile was back. Trish giggled and the air was fresh again, she has that aura about her. Evans came in with a few beers in hand and he and Kasey both said they were hungry. When that was mentioned Sam came over and placed his arms on Kasey's legs, he pushed him a few times then he picked him up. "Are you hungry son?" "Yes poppa, very hungry." "I have ordered, it won't be long." "Can I ring Billy now?" I handed the phone over to him, he dialed the number. Kasey put him on the sofa and he talked away about the cartoon they are watching together. He then unconsciously opened his laptop, I suppose he's checking his emails out. "One from the general, I wonder what he wants, again." He grinned. He read something then he got up and went into the spare room, after a few seconds he came out with a carton. Kasey grabbed the keys from the bowl on the bench and used one to slice it open. He pulled out some foam and a silver-blue laptop. "Did he buy you a new laptop Kase?" Evans asked. "Looks like it, I have never seen this brand before." He plugged it in and then looked at the welcome screen. "It's one of those quantum ones, they aren't due out for another three or four years," Evans said. "Shit, you can do almost anything with them." Kasey let us know then he opened it. "Bloody hell, this processor is enormous." "Give me a look." Evans went to stand up but Kasey snapped it shut. "For my eyes only Evans, I mean it." He looked worried. "So what did dad send you Kasey, the passwords?" I was interested. "Yes Adam, and he said my missions are already bookmarked. I am thinking the military is already trialing this type of computer." There was a knock on the door and I thanked the delivery man and grabbed the food, Trish helped me place it on the counter and then transfer it to the table as we unwrapped it. I took some for Sam with some chips then walked over. "Hang up now baby, you have to eat." He said his long goodbyes and then he had no trouble eating his dinner. Unusually the boys had waited for me to arrive back and when I sat down that was their nod to start eating, maybe Trish had something to do with that. A few beers, two bottles of wine, and a very sleepy boy put to bed sometime later, saw our friends retire to their apartment and Kasey immediately had two laptops going at once. "What does he want you to do?" "Can't say, I am so going to be busy I think, can't wait to hook this new one up, what's the internet password here?" I went to find it and he connected the new laptop to our home provider. "Shit this is quick," "I think I will go to bed, goodnight, will you lock up?" He wasn't listening, so I closed doors and turned lights out kissed his head, and headed for the bedroom. After stripping down I slipped between the sheets and being a little tipsy I drifted off to sleep. My eye opened and I looked at my bedside clock it was three am and still no Kasey. Getting out of bed I looked into the lounge room and there he was with pen in hand making notes. "Come to bed Kasey, you can do that later on today." he looked up and then looked at his watch. "Shit, time goes fast when you're having fun. I won't be a minute." I got up at six thirty. I was sick of tossing and turning, Kasey was still hard at it, so I made us a coffee and sat opposite him. When he noticed I had invaded his space he grinned. I grinned back then slipped down the chair to a more comfortable floor stance then I started relaxing my husband, did I mention he likes to compute in the nude? I guess this is going to be the norm in our sex life from now on. I have no idea what dad wanted him to work on, but I do know it would be a priority investigation. He wanted Kasey to start on it as soon as possible so he said. I finished him off then I went to shower. Normally Kase will shower with me but not this time. I dried my hair, even put on some sexy underwear but he was lost to his new computer because when I reappeared he tapped his mug on the table, I guess he wants more coffee. I cleaned up the kitchen and heard my baby go to the toilet, then he appeared not even seeing us, and when he flopped on the couch the tv went on like magic. There was one thing I noticed with Sam, whenever he watched his shows he repeated some words a few times. I reckon he's teaching himself more English and doing a good job of it too. I slipped on some sweatpants and went over to kiss his head. "Breakfast won't be far away baby." "Is there some of that red stuff left daddy?" "Yes baby, I will get you some." He wants Lasagna for breakfast. I don't mind, I gave up on the porridge ages ago. I fixed it for him then I sat again just staring at Kasey, now and then he would make a note and then go back to his old computer. Eventually, he looked up at me and said. "I will follow you in a minute, Adam, this is fascinating." "It's morning Kasey, do you want something to eat?" He turned around and looked outside sure enough the sun was up. He ran his hands down his face and shook his head. "Better you put that work aside for now, you may be missing some important pieces." "I had no idea, have I been up all night?" "Yes." I smiled. He looked over at Sam who was happy to plod along with his food then he looked at me. "I don't suppose..." "Already done about an hour ago." He grinned then he started to laugh. "I am going to kill your father when I see him." "What's it about?" "Top secret Adam, but I have some good or bad news for us both." "What is it?' "No connecting DNA for Sam, if he has family they weren't in that camp." I felt relieved because I had convinced myself that one of the young girls had given birth to him. "Good." I quietly said because it also means we have him forever. "I want to take him for a drive today Kasey, up into the mountains maybe have lunch at the lookout tower." "I'm too busy." "No your not, and I mean that Kase, you're not busy." "Please Adam this is fascinating." "Okay just for today, but tomorrow we go out, Sam needs to get some fresh air, and you need a break." "Okay, tomorrow then." He wasn't listening once more. I could hear his emails going off on both computers, and short of suggesting he move the lot into the office, I held my tongue and went to get Sam ready for our big day out. I won't take him up the mountains I will take him to the beach. He had a wash and changed into his mucking about clothes, I changed into my speedos. Taking our towels and sunblock I kissed Kasey goodbye and started for the door. "Where are you going?" "To the beach, we will be having lunch on the pier, there are leftovers in the fridge for you." "Go change." "No." I then opened the door and got in the lift. After placing the shorts I had in my hand on, I held Sam's hand to walk to the car. He wasn't too far behind us, I had just settled Sam into his ride when Kasey moved into the driver's seat. Smiling I elegantly slipped in beside him. He smiled all the way to the mountain top, when we got there Sam ran around screaming at us, he was on top of the world. He grabbed Kasey's hand and started dragging him over to the lookout platform, Kase started up the staircase and I followed behind him, what a lovely view it was. At the very top, we had to take photos and Sam went even higher when he landed up on Kase's shoulders. Lunch was a good family affair and I pressed Kasey for more information, but he held firm. "Kasey if this job dad has given you involves you going overseas, I won't be happy." "It doesn't Adam, it does involve another country but it can be handled from here." "Well, I will hold you to that." "I promise Adam it is all above board and I can tell you it involves a drug cartel. But that's all I can tell you." We stopped at several scenic spots on the way down, we even had a stroll on the treetop walk it seemed to take hours but in truth, it was only a few, there and back, Sam quickly rang Billy before he dropped off for a nap and Kasey sat in front of the computer, that was until I dropped my shorts and man sex was on his mind again. On Sunday we did have a great day at the beach and by Monday morning Sam had a truckload of memories to tell his teacher and classmates. Monday is my day off and after we walked Sam to school I was placed in a familiar position on our bed, things got a little hot and Kasey was out of control. That romp lasted a half hour and then the computer started calling him. I dressed and told Kase I had to go to the salon, I didn't go there I went to see my father. I wandered down the street crossing over at the bread shop, into the fed building and I asked the security guard if General Sutton was in and he said yes. Getting the lift to the top floor I faced his secretary and he announced my arrival. "Son good to see you." "You too dad I bought doughnuts." I placed the bag on his desk and then ripped it open. "I guess you are here for answers." "Some dad, some I already know. But the only question I have is, will this investigation put Kasey in danger?" "No son, not at all, he only has to do some recommendations and leave it to the special forces." "Okay, because I don't want to come down too hard on him, he's already neglecting his family, and Sams noticing." "I will talk to him then, he doesn't have to spend a lot of time on it most has already been done. He only has to double-check some reports." "I will talk to him again dad, but you know Kasey, it's not a question of double checking he will want to know everything about the case." That's why I promoted him, and that's why he now has the keys to operate without anyone's permission. Did he tell you about Sam's tests?" "Yes, I am very happy with the results it means a lot to us." "Well there won't be anyone coming after him in the future, you are free to be a proper family." "Thanks, dad, I had visions of court cases being held." I smiled. I ate the rest of my doughnut and left the other two with dad, then I walked out of the building over the road and bought four more. I didn't have much to do today and did think I would go to the other salon and check out the hunky staff, but watching Kasey work his magic is my favorite pastime, so I headed home. He was still at it and I think his pile of notes has grown since I left, it was all over the place. I kissed him and put the doughnuts on the table then I made us coffee. I did place one on a plate for Sam when he gets home from kindy, he will like this one its chocolate with sprinkles. Kasey picked one up then tapped the keys then looked at me. "How was the general?" "Good, he's good I didn't have to argue with him he seems relaxed and happy." "Good, any more information?" "No, only I have his reassurance you won't be going overseas again." "You know what would go well with this doughnut Adam with an a?" "I'm onto it." I slipped under the table and coated his dick with pink icing and sprinkles then I went to town on him. I was going to stick it through the hole but it was too big, the dick I mean. He was fully satisfied when I finished and sat back smiling again. He must have thought about it while in his splendor, he suddenly jumped up then grabbed me then dragged me to the bedroom. It doesn't happen often but when it does he gets into it and even bars up again which I admit I am not comfortable with that because he takes ages to get off the second time. "How long have we got?" "An hour and a half." I looked at the bedside clock. "Do you need to do any shopping?" "Not today there's stuff in the fridge for dinner." "Okay then, can I get back to it?" I laughed and slapped his bare ass. "Come on, the sooner you finish the sooner I get you to myself again." I busied myself by preparing dinner, he had bought me a good pressure cooker, and it's great for doing a casserole. I set it and then I sat in front of the tv just to get some news, it was all rubbish so I turned it off and went to sweep the balcony. Sam was so excited because he had to give a talk on his big weekend, his mates were asking all sorts of questions and I think there will be some families going to the mountain lookout next weekend. He sat on Kasey's shoulders and we slowly walked home, I looked in a few shops but nothing new jumped out at me. When Sam went to the toilet and Kasey sat at the table again I checked dinner out and then placed the doughnut on the table with some milk. He screamed again Kasey looked up and smiled, then Sam started licking the icing. I got a call from Trish she was about to lock up but wanted to come by with the day's takings. I thought hard and long about making her a partner in the business, nothing much will change for her except she will make decisions on the day-to-day running and she will benefit from the profits once a month. The paperwork has been sitting in my drawer for a week now it's just a case of her signing the documents. I didn't want to do it while Evans was around he might knock it on the head, I don't know what plans he has. But my friend needs to be elevated in the business, after all, she's done so much for my little company. She knocked on the door a half hour later, a bottle of wine in hand and some biscuits and cheese, Kasey dived on them, and then he went back to work. "We did well today Adam, those boys are raking in the customers, I am thinking two more chairs are becoming more urgent." "Well get them done." "I need you to order them, Adam, then we will discuss two more stylists, not male this time we need someone like Marko." She grinned. "You can't have him sorry, why don't you offer a job to his mum?" "She's happy to work from home, the extra business we send her is growing to the point she's knocking back customers." She laughed and poured another drink. "What have you planned with Evans Trish, like are you going to Bundaberg to run the distillery, or is he staying in town?" "Adam, he doesn't want to run it, he has a brother and sister that are quite happy to do that, he still gets his check every month. He likes what he's doing for the moment." "Good." I got up and went to the bedroom. When I came out she was talking to Kasey and he was sorting his paperwork away from her prying eyes. I placed the contract on the table and grabbed a pen from him. "Look it over then sign it." "What is it?" "Full partnership in the three businesses, anything to do with the salons we both will have to agree on and it also gives you the means to order those chairs and hire whoever you want, without running it past me, within reason of course." I smiled. She looked at me suspiciously. "It's all above board Trish, I wouldn't offer if I didn't feel that you are already a partner, and the best I can get to run the show, you get a percentage of the monthly profit and will get the same wage as me. Fifty-fifty, through the board no hidden agendas." "For real?" "For real." "Sign it Trish it's a good offer, I have looked it over and Adam is right no hidden bugs." She took the pen up and signed the contract, now I will shoot it off to the accountant so he can make the necessary adjustments. "So order the chairs and meeting adjourned. To the best partner, I have ever had." I lifted my glass, I almost giggled at her shocked face. "Salute." Kasey saluted her with his glass. "Are you for real?" "Yes, the properties stay in my name as you would guess, but the businesses themselves are ours to run as we please." "No shops for me then?" She laughed. "As you know, they come under the corporation I have set up with Kasey, the salons lease the properties from us. It's business Trish you aren't losing out." "Thank you, Adam, and Kasey all I can do is thank you. At least I have some direction now, Evans will be pleased, it was me holding him up because I wanted him to be happy. Now I can tell him we are staying right here." "Good, I have casserole for dinner what time does Evans get home?." "About another hour, I was going to shout you all dinner but home-cooked is better." "Another time and I have plenty." "What are you working on over there, secret stuff?" "Yes, no peeking." He gathered up some more paperwork and she moaned about being kept in the dark. "I will tell you later." I winked. "Warning Adam, please don't look at these notes, I will get crazy mad." "I won't Kase, you can trust me." I grinned. True to my word I didn't look at his notes, but I think the important ones have been locked away in his filing cabinet anyway, as well as that I noticed he was using the outside barbeque to burn some things. Evans Trish Kasey and I with Sam had another great night, she will order two more chairs and put staff on. That will make eight full-time, and four part-time. I had better do something about a new apprentice and a full-timer also, opening up the shop to the police and military has created plenty of walk-ins and there is a flat rate now for short back and sides, they don't take long. "Have you got a new outfit for the wedding, Trish?" "Yes Adam, one of Cody's again, he gives me a great discount. I can't wait it's going to be a fantastic day." "It will be, Eva is going to look stunning." "I guess it will be your turn next Evans," Kasey said, Evans snorted. Nope we are not going to get anything out of him tonight I think it will happen but on his time and terms, I know Trish loves him, and he her. Sam went off to sleep and night lights were turned on, we moved to the balcony and Kasey was hanging out to get back to his work. He did say he's been neglecting his studies and has a couple of write-ups to do for an upcoming exam. It's all go go go with Kasey, he almost revels in being busy, doing three or four things at once spurs him on, as long as he doesn't forget his family he can work all he wants. In bed that night we made love then around one he got up, I heard the computers announce they were active and turned over and went back to sleep. In the morning he was fast asleep, his head resting in his arms on the table. I put the kettle on then I shook him. "Come on big boy time for bed." He looked at me through blurry eyes and staggered as I helped him back to the bedroom. I threw the blanket up and he went back to sleep. I made my coffee and moved over to the laptops, one had a map of the Timor sea and the other had a photo of a cargo ship. I couldn't see the name but it had a big red circle at the front and tons of containers on board. I didn't want to know, maybe drugs may be illegal tobacco who knows? I closed both of them down and made some toast, my son will be out soon he has things to watch on tv. I fed him and fixed his lunch box then I went to the other bathroom and showered. Finding some clothes I had stored in the other bedroom for such occasions I dressed and then it was Sam's turn. Today I go to work and I want to drop off the paperwork Trish had signed at my accountant's office. "Come on baby time to go, turn the tv off." "Okay daddy, where is poppa?" "He's still sleeping baby." I took his backpack and we headed for the lift. After dropping him off I then dropped off the paperwork and headed for the salon. My smells were wafting through the air as I took a deep breath, I love this moment in the morning, it's my time but only for ten minutes today, I am a little behind schedule. Anne was the first in the door, she works between the salons because she can't make up her mind which one she likes the best. But I must say she does a good job where ever she, is her client numbers are high. She helped herself to a bun then James and Marko barged into the tea room talking and laughing their heads off, they had gone to a club last night. I don't know how they do it, and from the sounds of it, they only got a few hours of sleep. Eva was followed by Tim she buttered a roll for him and herself and asked if I wanted one, for which I said yes. I was suddenly hungry I only had one piece of toast. We talked about the wedding and Eva was starting to get nervous, everything was done for the day and Kasey with Evans have been fitted out for their suits. I must remind Kase he has to make a speech. Talking about my man once more, he surprised me with a visit not long after we opened. "I thought you were sleeping?" "I have to talk to the general, it can't wait." He kissed me then grabbed a bun, I took it and buttered it for him. "Oh by the way you have to write a speech for Wilson's wedding." "Shit, I forgot, will get onto it when I get home so much is happening and I have a lot to do." "You should slow down and concentrate on your studies." "What I'm studying is only catch-up stuff, I am so in front I can only do revision stuff." "Well, speech first otherwise it will sound rushed." "Yes boss," He saluted me then kissed me, then with a bun in hand and some paperwork he left. "I know I saw her, he's such a spunk I wouldn't mind having a go at him." "Me too, lucky bitch." "And who is the lucky bitch?" I had overheard the conversation between Marko and James. "Can't say Adam, secret gay business." I have no idea what they were talking about but it certainly got my interest. I looked around the salon my early appointment hasn't arrived yet so I took a young officer as my first customer. "Thank you Adam, I didn't want to sit around all day for a haircut." "I will make it a quick one Justin, big date or just a clean-up?" "Clean up, but I wanted to ask you not to cut the top I want to grow it a bit, I like Kasey's style." "Yep, I will set it up for you and we will have another look in two weeks." "Thank you." I clipped his sides and shaped the back, he will look good with it a little longer, many of Kasey's workmates have changed from the shaved military look. They can have their hair a little longer nowadays but it has to be shortish and tidy. After seeing Justin out I grabbed the next one, Mitchell. He surprised me because I hadn't seen him sitting there. He's usually quite loud but today he greeted me and said he was waiting for Anne to finish. He ran into her at the club last night and said he would be in. He has changed, he's more handsome, he even has stubble, and is a lot taller. My eyes were all over him. "No problem Mitchell, she won't be long." I grinned. "Thanks, uncle Adam." He makes me feel so old. I made a coffee and wondered how Kasey was getting along, and Sam at kindy I missed both of them, I did some bookwork, and now and then I would hear Anne or Mitchell laugh. Marko came into the tea room and rolled his eyes. "What's up?" "A young man with needs, a beautiful young girl, what else can I say." I think we have been here before, and I don't think Mitchell and Anne's relationship is purely on the professional side. I will put that aside until I can have a word with Trish after all Mitch is nearly sixteen now, he can do almost anything, and he has so he tells me. He looked stunning, his dark looks have been kind to him, his hair black and thick, lips to die for. Adam stop it he's only sixteen I laughed to myself, then I was called for one of my special wash and sets. My day went slow, and I ached to be home with Kasey, but eventually, it turned three and a smiling guy poked his head in, we need to go get Sam. He has some homework today, a project he has to work on, he rattled off what he had to do and he had a week to do it. I had no idea what it was all about but when we sat him down at the table to look he grinned then he laughed. He had to do a project on what his daddy does for a job. I looked at him he was still giggling. "What's up, baby?" "I got two daddies I have to do two projects." He almost rolled on the floor laughing, I hope they don't want one on mummy's jobs. "Well, you had better get to it." "In a minute daddy, I have to watch something first." He ran over to the tv and turned it onto his channel. "How did your day pan out Kasey?" "Okay actually, I passed my thoughts to the general, and he's going to follow everything up. We have a huge problem with drugs coming into the country, I think I found out the route they are taking." "Good, and that route is land, sea, or air?" "Sea Adam, the bulk comes in by sea." "Can you back it up?" "One hundred percent." He grinned. "So can I have my table back now?" "Tomorrow, we can go and get Sam some project paper and get started on his homework." he grinned. I was happy he wasn't required to do anything else but write a summary, it must have been long considering the paperwork he had piled up. One thing I did notice was the printer had landed up on my table also, I suppose he got sick of going into the office to get the printouts. As I made him coffee and placed it next to him he was stapling pieces of paper together and then writing on them, I tapped the printer. "What's this doing here?" "I get lonely in the office, I like being here where you two are." He placed a sad face on. "Okay fair enough." How the hell do I argue with that and I don't mind them being around me. I grabbed a spare blank page and started making a list of what hairdressers do, I will put a photo of the salon and one of Marco's special wedding hairdo's kids love pretty things so I can add some glitter to it, maybe I can get Trish to do it for him. Billy rang and Sam was talking to him about the cartoon his knee was swinging back and forth as they dissected each scene, he's a very observant kid and like his papa, he goes into a lot of details. I took the meatloaf out of the oven and then started peeling potatoes we can have mash with it tonight. Then I put some washing on and short of sniffing Kasey's underwear I did fondle them it looks like he's stretched the pouches of each pair. The army-issue shorts have almost vanished from my washing basket but Kase likes to slip them on when we have guests, Evans and Wilson do the same it's a natural thing for them to do. I suddenly had a thought, the two shampoos, and one conditioner rule, can't forget that one, the kids will want to know how to wash their hair properly.
