All the characters are fictional. Warning - it contains m/m sex. People Like Us Aren't Queer 5. When Kyle got home after his night with David he changed into his work clothes to indicate he'd been doing a job that morning. He put into a small shoulder bag a notebook he'd used during his apprenticeship to make notes in about the job David wanted done and placed a piece of paper in the first blank page which was about a quarter of the way through the book. This made it look like he'd done other jobs! He also made sure he had two ballpoint pens, just in case one decided to give up on him and included his steel tape measure plus two other useful tools to test electrical items. He also had time to prepare a simple document for the maintenance agreement David had requested. He'd never done anything like this before so made it up as he went along using what little knowledge he did have of such things. He remembered seeing contracts during his apprenticeship so thought back to those. Once printed out on Tony's printer, which reminded him he should pay towards the next cartridge when this one ran out, he read it through and was pleased with what he'd done. He signed and dated the two copies and slipped them into his bag to get David to sign a copy. He easily found the address David had given him and where they were going to meet. He was ten minutes early so waited outside leaning against the low wall that surrounded the small terrace house. "Hi Kyle, sorry to keep you waiting" David called as he walked briskly along towards him, "Bob my contract manager should be here soon but let's go in". David acted very professional towards him. Quite different from when they met as male escort and client. Whilst they waited for Bob to arrive David showed Kyle round the small two bedroom property. Kyle noted that the property had been rewired in recent years since it was on a modern ring main system. He checked the main switchboard unit in the hall cupboard and satisfied himself that met current regulations. David was impressed with the way Kyle went about checking things and taking notes. "Ah, here's Bob" David announced, "Bob, come and meet Kyle". Bob was in his late thirties and had a lean looking body with muscles to die for. Kyle guessed he used the gym a lot but he didn't give any indication of being gay. He shook Kyle's hand warmly and smiled at him. Kyle decided he liked Bob, which was just as well since he'd be working with him on these jobs. Bob took Kyle round, with David following on behind, and explained what changes were being made to the property. The small kitchen was being knocked into the adjoining room which had no doubt been used as a dining room in days gone by so a new kitchen was being installed. "We'll need a new power unit installed for the hob and oven plus points for the dishwasher and washing machine" Bob explained. "Just as well" Kyle grinned, "That one doesn't meet current regulations" he said pointing out an old unit on the wall. Bob looked at David and grinned, "This young man knows his stuff okay; the other electrician seemed to think it was okay". "I should explain Kyle, Bob is also a qualified electrician so knows his stuff". "So you were checking me out" Kyle replied smiling not sure whether to feel annoyed or not. "Well, shall we say we wanted to make sure you knew your stuff" Bob grinned. "And do I?" "Yep, I'm satisfied" Bob replied, "Now do you have PI insurance?" Kyle nodded and showed him a copy of his professional indemnity certificate along with his registration document. "So where did you train?" Bob asked having returned the documents. "Bakers in Birmingham" "Wow, they're good; why did you leave them?" "They didn't have any permanent jobs when my apprenticeship ended but they are crap payers and I'd decided I wanted to move to London and go freelance." "Good for you, I like guys who want to get on in the world; that's how I started" Bob replied putting a fatherly hand on Kyle's shoulder. "I may well like to use you on other jobs I manage if you do well on this one" he added smiling. "David certainly seems to think you'll do well." Kyle looked at David and they grinned at each other. Little did Bob know what else they got up to! Bob then explained that although he was the contract manager, Kyle would be self employed and mainly on his own. "But feel free to ask for my help or guidance if you need to. "Thanks" Kyle replied feeling easier about what he was about to take on. "Right, I'm going to leave you guys to discuss the job then" David said having sat back and watched the other two. Just as David was about to leave them, Kyle remembered to give him the maintenance agreement. David quickly read it through, nodded and signed it. "Perfect" he said passing one of the copies back. "This lad is no fool Bob, so you make sure you treat him right" David grinned. "I can see that" Bob chuckled giving Kyle a friendly slap on the back. When David had left them Bob gave Kyle a document for him to read. "Take it away to read it through and if you're happy sign it and let me have one copy back. In the meantime let me detail what needs to be done here. On his way home Kyle read through the sub-contractor agreement Bob had given him. It detailed his responsibilities plus what and how he was to be paid. He almost cried out with excitement. He still couldn't believe his luck. Instead he pulled out his pen and signed the document when the train was stationery at a station. He then read through the notes he'd made whilst Bob was going through what had to be done. He'd told Kyle he could order what supplies he needed from the supplier he used and they'd be delivered to the site. He even gave himself as a reference to use in order to set up an account of his own at the same supplier. "They know me well so give them this card and you won't have any problems" he'd told him. Kyle knew it was best to have an account so he only had to settle the bill once a month by which time he'd hopefully have the money to do so. It reminded him that he should speak to his bank about setting up a business account to keep his personal finances separate. He remembered a talk he'd attended during his training about finances if you were self-employed. David had asked him to attend one of his properties the following morning to sort out a broken socket and a non-functioning heater so he needed some materials for that job to start with. He first visited his bank and set up a business account. He was amazed at how easy it was as he came away with all the details he now required to set up an account at the supplier that Bob had recommended. The bank clerk told him that he should receive his cheque book and debit card within a few days. The guy at the supplier was very nice; in fact Kyle found him rather attractive and kept on smiling at him. The guy clearly enjoyed dealing with Kyle and smiled back. Within a few minutes the necessary checks had been made and Kyle was given his account number. He then purchased the items he needed for the job he was on the way to plus a few other items he decided would be useful to have with him. The apartment he had to visit was in Kensington. As expected it was very smart and had a commissionaire at a desk in reception. David had already informed the commissionaire that Kyle was expected so having signed in he went up to the apartment concerned with him. A young lady opened the door and welcomed Kyle in. He got the feeling she was coming on to him but he ignored her advances and asked where the broken socket was. "Ah, it's in the kitchen" she replied, "My husband was a bit heavy handed with it and broke it I'm afraid". Kyle looked at the electrical outlet and could see he had to replace it so he asked where the main fuse box panel was situated. She dithered and eventually took him to a hall cupboard where he found it. Having isolated the section he needed, he set about replacing the broken fitting with the new one he'd purchased earlier. "You look very young to be an electrician" she commented as she watched Kyle work away. "I'm fully qualified" Kyle replied as he continued working. "I'm sure you are" she giggled and placed a hand on his shoulder, "And if I may say so, very good looking as well" she giggled. Kyle ignored her advances and continued working. "Would you like a coffee?" she asked. Kyle declined saying he'd had one just before coming out. It wasn't true but he decided if he had coffee it might encourage her further. When he'd completed that job and tested it, he asked where the heater was that needed attention. She took him into the bedroom and showed him a wall heater. "It just stopped working" she explained. He checked the fused socket and that was fine but there was no current coming through. He checked the circuit breaker on the main panel and that was okay. He then noticed another switch in the corner of the bedroom. It was switched in the off position so he switched it on. Immediately a light lit up on the heater to indicate it was now receiving power. He switched it on and immediately felt heat coming out. "There you are madam, nothing wrong with it, just the main switch had been turned off" he said grinning. "Oh you are so clever" she exclaimed putting her arm round his back and rubbing her hand up and down until it reached his butt. "Right, if that's all I'll get off" he said quickly moving away. "Are you sure you don't want a coffee?" she said running after him. "No thanks, I've got another job to go to" he lied. When he got back down to reception, the commissionaire called him over. "There's another flat that needs two light bulbs replaced, could you do that please? "Is it owned by Mr Cutler?" Kyle asked wanting to make sure the apartment was one of David's. "Yes, he owns four flats in the block and I hold a stock of the bulbs for him" the commissionaire replied showing Kyle a list of the owners that had David Cutler's name against four properties. Kyle said he would do the job since he was there so the commissionaire gave him two bulbs and led him up to the fifth floor to open up the apartment. It was another stunning apartment, beautifully furnished with views over London. Kyle wished he could live somewhere like this. Fortunately he'd brought with him his newly purchased fold up steps since he guessed some jobs would require him to reach up high. They were light weight aluminium and folded up into a neat easy to handle package. The lights were flush ceiling GU5 fittings but he soon had the two new bulbs fitted. "Thanks, the tenant reported them this morning so he'll be delighted when he comes home; the other electrician would have taken two or three weeks to come" the commissionaire commented as Kyle folded up his steps and collected his tool bag. He was walking to the station when he received a text on his mobile from David about ten minutes later. `Thanks for doing those two jobs' he said, `Got another in Victoria' he added giving Kyle the address, `The washing machine keeps tripping the trip switch'. The commissionaire must have contacted David to tell him what Kyle had done. When he read the address he recognised it. He soon realised that it was Vic's address and smiled to himself. Vic would get a surprise when he found Kyle, his male escort, on the doorstep to sort out his washing machine. He wondered whether the wife would be home. "Hi, Mr Cutler asked me to call regarding a problem with your washing machine" Kyle said when Vic opened the door. "Oh, hi Kyle, lovely to see you; come on in" he beamed when the penny dropped. As Kyle brushed past him he felt a reaction down below. His wife was not home and wouldn't be back until very late that night. "What's the problem then?" Kyle asked. "The washing machine keeps tripping the circuit breaker; it's done it ever since the other electrician Mr Cutler used installed a new one." Kyle first tested the power point that the washing machine was using and found it to be fine. He then went to the main fuse box unit, which was situated in a small hall cupboard. Vic squeezed in to see what Kyle was doing and Kyle could feel the warmth of his body almost pressing up against him. It caused a reaction in his trousers but he tried to forget that as he checked the wiring. It took him about half an hour to see the problem. The other electrician had put two negative wires the wrong way round so although the power worked, it caused the RCD protected circuit to blow. Once the wires had been wired correctly, everything worked okay. "Wow, that's brilliant, you are clever" Vic beamed, "Didn't realise my escort was gorgeous and clever" he added with an even larger smile. "Would you like to stay for a cup of tea? I've also just made a cake". Since Kyle had nothing else to do he agreed. He rather liked Vic and found him good company. "So you're an electrician as well as being a male escort" Vic commented whilst he made the tea, "It's no wonder you send such a current of excitement through a guy when you make love to them" he giggled. "Yeah, shocking isn't it" Kyle laughed. Vic brought the tea over to where Kyle was sitting in the living room and then gave him a slice of fruit cake. "Mm, this is nice" Kyle commented having taken a bite from his piece of cake, "So you bake cakes then". Vic explained that he did all the cooking and most of the chores in the house since his wife was away working so much. "By the time she comes home she's tired out so fit for nothing but it suits me" he grinned, "She's gone to Norwich today so won't be back until nine or ten at least" he added pointedly. Kyle smiled at him and casually rubbed the bulge that was now showing in his crotch. "More tea or cake?" Vic asked looking at Kyle's bulge. "No thanks but that was very nice" "Mm, not the only thing that's very nice" Vic replied as he sat down beside Kyle, "Are you free to spend an hour in your male escort mode?" he asked casually rubbing his hand up and down Kyle's thigh. "I could be" Kyle grinned, "Usual terms though". "Of course" Vic replied pulling out of his pocket a wad of notes. "There we are" he chuckled as he gave Kyle the required amount for an hour's fun, "Don't think I've ever been fucked by an electrician before, no wonder the last time was electrifying!" Kyle grinned at the joke and stood up. "I'm a bit hot a sweaty though, do you want me to have a shower first?" "No, I love guys hot and sweaty, you can have a shower after you've fucked me" Vic giggled as he led Kyle into the bedroom. "What time is the little wife home then?" Kyle asked not wanting to be caught fucking her husband. "Oh, she's not due home until late tonight so it's quite safe." Kyle stripped off his clothes whilst Vic did the same. Once naked they rolled around on the bed for a while kissing and cuddling before Kyle set to work on what Vic really wanted. Kyle could see now why Tony had advised him to always be prepared so he had with him the leather pouch that contained all that he needed. Once booted up and the hole in question had been well and truly lubricated and opened up, he plunged his now fully erect organ in. "Oh fuck" Vic exclaimed, "God that feels so good" he yelled. Kyle thrust away until he was spilling his load. He needed this and was enjoying every minute. When he was done he continued thrusting whilst feeling for Vic's cock beneath him. It wasn't long before he too was shooting ribbons of hot cum all over the sheet. "Fuck that was good" Vic said when he'd finally come down from his high and turned over. "You really know how to fuck a guy". Kyle just grinned as he removed his filled condom and placed it in a tissue. "Will leave you to dispose of that so that Mrs doesn't find it" he laughed. Vic laughed as he took the package. Once Kyle had showered and dressed, he left to go home. Once there he typed up an invoice for David for the three jobs he'd undertaken. He'd already designed a format so it didn't take long. He clicked the send button and off they went through the ether to David. `The wonders of modern technology' he giggled as he watched the email disappear from his out box. ___________________________________________________________________________ The next part of 'People Like Us Aren't Queer' will be available shortly.
