"Well," I said impatiently tapping the floor with my foot.

"Would ya'll care to tell me what on earth you were screaming about?"

All three stood wordlessly. Bryan, the missing man came bounding through the door.

"What's up guys?" he asked, unaware of what had just taken place.

"Yeah, I was asking the same thing" I said, my voice dripping with contempt.

Bry gave me this hopelessly cute, puzzled look. "Did I miss something?" he asked.

"Well apparently we both missed something, Bry." I said, and then turned my eyes back on the three culprits.

"Well?" I snapped making them all jump. I glared them down until it looked like Nick was about to speak when Amber stormed out of the room.

I looked from Nick to Tor and shook my head. I turned to go follow Amber, but thought better of it . I turned back around at Nick and Tor " It seems I cant leave y'all alone without something happening. You two, SIT!"

They both sat down promptly "Ok you two, out with it."

Tor ignored me and looked away.

"Ok" Nick said, sighing. "Remember how I wanted to tell you something when I picked you up?" he asked.

I nodded remembering our earlier conversation.

"Well that's what Tor and Amber were fighting about. You see last night I had this weird dream. It was like someone was, well...you know" he paused and made a sucking gesture with his fist.

"Oh I see, and?" I said raising my eyebrow curiously

"Well then I woke up and realised that it wasn't just a dream. At first I couldn't see who it was and then when my night vision finally cleared, I saw it was Amber" I stood there for a second, it didn't quite register with me at first. My mind was refusing to believe that Amber would do something like that.

"Are you telling me that you and Amber slept together?" Hoping that I had heard the information wrong.

"No, it wasn't like that at all! She..." Nick looked rather uncomfortable.

"That tramp friend of yours decided to SERVICE Nick, I swear I'm going to kill her!" Tor said making her opinion known, with her head bopping and eyes rolling.

"Victoria, quiet! Your really not helping the situation. Before you condemn her to the red light district let me speak to her first."

As I was going to check on Amber, Bry grasped my hand "Do you want me to come?"

"No, it's okay" I said as I held his hand while he walked me to Amber's room. I gave him a kiss and watched him walk back to the living room. I turned and knocked on her door but after receiving no reply I opened the door. There she was sprawled across the bed face down.

"Amber, are you okay?"

"Go away Blair"

"I'm not going anywhere until this is all sorted out." I sat down next to her on the bed. Their was an awkward silence until I finally asked "What happened?"

She said nothing, but turned to face the ceiling. Her face was red and it looked like she had been crying.

"You okay?"

"No" she replied meekly "I'm so embarrassed!"

I stood there stunned. I didn't know exactly how to feel at the moment. Mad that she took advantage of Nick or sad for he. I think I was a bit of both.

"I mean, what kind of fool does what I did?"

"You mean suck someone off?" That came out harshly, not how I intended it to.

"Do you have to say it like that, you make it sound dirty!"

"Oh, well how do you want me to say it? You tasted his banana, sauced his hot dog, cleaned his monkey..."

"Okay, okay! So I sucked his dick!" she huffed with a slight smile crossing her face.

"Oh god what was I thinking!" She thumped her hand on the bed and flung herself backwards again.

I started to feel sorry for the girl. It truly looked like she regretted doing the 'deed' with Nick. But what could I say? It had been done; there was no going back.

"Come on Amber, it's not as bad as you think"

"Oh really? Well if it was a guy doing it to a girl it would be rape!" Damn, she hit that right on the mark.

"Well what were you thinking?"

"That's just it!" She stood up and paced back and forth "I wasn't thinking! I mean even you can see he's cute right?"

"I can't say I've ever thought of Nick that way Amber, he's always sort of been a brother to me" I said laughingly.

"Well yeah sure but you aren't blind! And well... damn I just wanted him so badly!"

"Well that doesn't put you in a very good light"

"You aren't helping," she said in a singsong voice.

"Well look at it this way Amber. It's done, you can't take it back so stop punishing yourself about it."

She looked away embarrassed. My tone sounded a bit harsh but I couldn't help it. Nick was my brother and she said it, if the roles were reversed this would have been rape.

"Look girl, you can either groan about it and hide, or you can face Nick, apologise and try and work things out."

"It was a stupid move huh... actually don't answer that"

"Yes I do think it was a stupid move but hey, it's not the end of the world."

"I said don't answer it, sheesh!"

"Well I couldn't help myself," I said as I grabbed her hand "Now stop this sulking and lets go talk to the others"

"Aww, do I have to?" She whined.

"Yes, you do. Unless you want to spend the rest of this vacation in your room"

"Well that does sound like a better alternative than going to face Nick, and man I thought Tor was going to rip my head off!" she said seriously.

"Bah, Tor couldn't hurt a fly. She's just very protective of us boys. After all she is the eldest. She feels like the older sister, you know."

Amber headed to the lounge with me behind her offering support. Bryan, Tor and Nick were busy talking when I coughed for their attention. I motioned for Amber to say something but she just stood there.

"Guys, Amber would like to say something" I said giving Amber an opportunity to speak.

"Well" she said awkwardly "I just want to say sorry Nick for what I did. It was uncalled for"

"That's okay Amber" Nick said.

"No it's not," she said interrupting him "It's not okay. And I'd just like you to know that I regret doing it and I promise I'll make it up to you"

"Look Amber," Nick said as he took her hand "I forgive you okay? It may take a while to get over it but I'm not going to let this dampen our holiday or my birthday tomorrow. And that goes for everyone" Nick said gesturing to all of us "Right now, I've forgiven Amber so no more is to be said about this".

Everyone accepted Nick's proposal about it even though Tor seemed to be a bit unhappy about it. Bryan tried to lighten up the mood by suggesting doing some sight seeing. Everyone agreed so after putting the rest of our luggage away; we hopped in to the SUV and started looking around town.

After several disagreements and agreements to disagree, we decided on seeing the Railway line. It's apparently one of Katoomba's biggest attractions so we thought we'd get it over and done with first.

As we arrived there was quite a crowd waiting at the station, mostly tourists. We met a few people from New Zealand who were here for their mid year break. Bry and I held hands as we boarded, sitting down together while Tor, Amber and Nick were seated in front of us.

"So what's the big deal about this Train?" Tor asked.

"Well it's the steepest train ride in the southern hemisphere apparently" Nick said.

"Just sit tight you guys, you'll see why" Bry said.

We sat and watched as the train entered various tunnels. Bryan took the opportunity to make passes at me that wouldn't usually be suitable in public. I moaned in appreciation and heard the distinct sound of the other three's giggles.

"What??" I asked

"Oh Annnngell..." They said mockingly causing both Bry and I to blush, which only escalated their giggling. The natural beauty of the place overwhelmed us all. We were surrounded by lush forest with trees hanging overhead. People were taking photos of Mother Nature's work while others seemed to be gob smacked. The sun seeped through the bush highlighting the flourishing bushes around us.

"This place is just - Wow!" I said quietly to Bry.

"Yeah, it sure is" he said looking in to my eyes "and its even better that you're here too!"

I blushed several shades of red while the other three made gagging noises.

"You two are so lovey-dovey it's sickening!" Amber said.

"Yeah, and what's even worse is that they don't care about us singletons who have to watch it" Tor said.

"I think it's cute," Nick said.

"Who asked you?" Tor and Amber snapped simultaneously causing Bry and I to laugh.

The train continued till we stopped at the gondola that overlooked the rainforest. It went so high up that with my fear of heights, there was no way I was going anywhere.

"Guy's, how about you all go on the ride and I'll wait here," I suggested.

"Don't be silly, we'll all go!" Bry said. He tried to pull me over but I shrugged him off.

"Na'uh, coming on the railway was okay, but there is no way I am getting on a sky gondola." I said firmly.

"What, it's not like you're afraid of heights," Tor said offhandedly. I didn't reply which surprised her.

"You mean you ARE afraid of heights?" she asked.

"Afraid would be putting it lightly" I replied.

"Oh, I didn't know" she said apologetically.

"Well, won't you come, even for me?" Bry said batting his eyes. I took his hand in mine.

"Babe, even if you paid me I wouldn't go," I said laughingly.

"Gee thanks," he said feigning hurt.

"Well I'll wait here with him, and you four go up," Amber offered.

"You don't need to do that, you all go. I'll wait here for you."

They tried to protest but gave up in the end. All five boarded the gondola and left while I waited.

I was flicking through some pamphlets about the Sky gondola when my phone rang

"Hello?"

"Now son, please explain WHY you haven't rung me since you've been in Australia, hmmm?"

It was mother...

"Mum I'm sorry, I've been a bit busy!"

"Too busy to call your own mother? My goodness Blair I'm surprised!"

"God mum I'm on vacation, can't you just..."

"I'm only pulling your chain son, are you enjoying yourself dear?"

"Yes mum I am. How are you? Are you ok?"

"I'm just fine thanks. I had some spare time and thought I'd call. So what've you been up to?"

I explained how we had gone sight seeing and did a few rounds of shopping. Then explained we were in the Blue Mountains.

"Oh so Amber got there safely?"

"Yeah she did. Anyway mum I better go but I'll give you a call tomorrow okay?"

"Ok son, be good!"

"I will, I love you!"

"I love you too son, bye!" the phone went dead.

"Hmm, who do you love?" Bry's voice said from behind me. I turned and everyone had come back from the gondola.

"Oh it was just mum checking in. How was the ride?"

"It was fantastic!" Tor said, "You missed out on a great view"

"The view was fine from where I was thank you" I said laughingly.

"What are we up to next?" Amber asked.

"Well, echo point isn't far from here, we can go see the three sisters" Nick suggested.

"Three sisters? Sounds like a brothel" said Tor. Bry and Nick laughed.

"It's not a brothel you fish" Nick said playfully hugging Tor around the shoulder.

"Well what is it then?" she asked.

We arrived at echo point in the late afternoon. The crowds seemed to be thinning but we all went ahead anyway. Now for those of you who have never seen the scenery around the Blue Mountains, I tell you there are not enough words in the English language to describe it. The lazy afternoon sun lit up the mountainside clearly while the valley below was covered in shade. It was like looking at a beautiful scene in a post card, except there it was right in front of us. I walked up to the lookout and was awed. There were three prominent rocks on top of the mountainside.

"That my dear, is the three sisters," I said to Tor.

Bry proceeded to tell the folk tail of how there was some monster that lived down in the valley. A father and his three daughters lived on top of the hills and only the father had the power to hold back the monster. Then one day the father was called away and while he was leaving the monster awoke. The father was horrified as one of the daughters screamed, but just in time he managed to turn them to stone to save them.

"Sheesh, that's a fate worse than death" Amber said.

"Tell me about it! How shitty would it be to be turned to stone!" said Tor.

"It's only a story girls, no need to get your panties tied" Nick said.

"Who says I'm wearing any?" Tor stated with her hands on her hips.

Nick blushed and the rest of us busted up laughing.

"Gee Tor," Bryan said trying to control herself "you can say some of the most disturbing things"

"Well when you've been around two boys all your life, you either beat em or become one and well, I'm not a lesbian."

That comment brought another round of laughs.

"Oh I don't know, It WOULD explain your current dry spell lately" I said keeping a straight face.

The look Tor gave me would have burnt me to a crust, which only caused more laughter.

"Shush, I don't like it when you all joke about me!" Tor said with a pout.

"Aww, you know we don't mean it" Nick said hugging her.

As we drove away an arm came around my shoulder.

"You know," I said smiling "that place is reserved"

"Oh for who?" the voice asked.

"For Orlando"

"Orlando? Who the hell is Orlando??" The voice asked incredulously.

"Why Orlando Bloom silly! He's my husband of course," I said trying to hide my grin but not succeeding.

"Oh, so it's like that is it? And what does that make me?" The voice asked sounding half amused half alarmed.

"That makes you" I paused pushing Bry on to his back "My lover"

I kissed him.

"Ew! No Rated18 stuff amongst the singles please" Amber said feigning disgust.

"Jealousy is a bad thing," Bry said in jest.

"Yeah, it's what lead Cain to kill Abel you know" I said adding my two cents worth.

"And to the split of the Spice Girls" Tor added.

"I heard jealousy turns you blue" Nick said.

"No it turns you green, prick teases turn you blue" I said laughingly.

"Oh and you'd know all about that Mr. White wine" Nick said. I shot him daggers but everyone broke out in laughter.

"Holy shit!" Nick shouted and the car screeched to a halt sending some of us rolling.

"Fricken hell Nick, what are you doing?" I snapped.

"Yeah, next time could you give us some warning that you're going to throw us around the car" Tor said sarcastically.

Nick's eerie silence made me look forward. Looking through the windshield I saw there was a young man laying on the road that looked unconscious.

"Holy shit! There's a kid on the road!" I shouted

Hurriedly I opened the door and ran up to the folded body lying on the ground. I felt my blood go cold as I realised I knew who this kid was.

"Oh my god," Bry said, "That's the kid from the grocery store!"

"I saw something on the road and I thought it was an animal, but as we got closer I hit the breaks coz it was a kid!" Nick said in shock.

"Shit! Bry, my mobile is in the car, call for an ambulance!" I checked his pulse, he was still alive but unresponsive. He didn't look beaten but his pants were torn at the knee as if someone had hit him with a car. He also had a large gash on the head. I almost jumped ten feet in the air when I saw his eyes flash open.

"Heelp... me..." he said weekly... then he fainted.
