"It will be a huge gain for the restaurant chain," smiled Tommy to his husband
and now they were looking forward to seeing the house in the morning.

"Do you guys want to come with us to see the house? We are going to meet
Sean, the realtor at 10:30, and then Tommy and I are going to meet with Marcel

delicious and soon breakfast came and it was terrific too. During breakfast,
Robbie got two phone calls. The first came from Sean confirming their 10:30

Just as Robbie hung up, he got a call from George confirming their meeting with
himself and Marcel for 3:00 pm that afternoon. George said that Marcel was

It was nearing 10:00 and the men had to get going to meet Sean and see the

As they were getting out of the car, Sean drove up in a bright red Mercedes

made of carved mahogany was placed at the end of the room. Ahead, they

There was a fireplace on the main wall of the room and groupings of couches,
chairs and tables with and a Steinway Grand Piano in the left corner, covered
with a Spanish shawl with long fringe around the sides. There were family
pictures in large silver frames sitting on top of the piano and on the fireplace
mantle. The art work on the walls was stunning and subdued, focused lighting
accented every piece. Recessed lighting in the ceiling was tasteful and numerous
attractive lamps were strategically placed on the tables.

Large windows looked out on a stunning backyard that held a pool, hot tub/spa
to the left. A covered patio with lounging furniture and a table were on the
right. Both men were very impressed so far as they continued to explore the
home to see more of the large house. A formal dining room was next which held
a huge, hand-carved table with 12 chairs and a matching side board. There was
another large wrought iron and crystal chandelier over the dining table.

A paneled wall covered two sides of the room a when a special panel was
pushed, a door opened revealing a large closet holding glassware, china and a
large silver flatware chest. Off to the right was nice butler's pantry that also led
into the dining room.  Through a large swinging wooden door was a huge
restaurant-sized kitchen with Sub-zero and Wolf appliances. Off the kitchen was
a fairly good-sized breakfast room with a wrought iron/glass topped table and 8
matching chairs. There was a beautiful Venetian Glass chandelier over the table.

Off the kitchen area were large sliding doors that led to the patio revealing a
massive built in kitchen, bar-b-que pit and with lots of seating and a dining table
that could accommodate 10. Upon closer inspection, the pool was large with a
nice spa that could seat at least eight people. Spanish tile added color around
the pool and spa. It was all glorious, and so inviting.

There was also a good-sized housekeeper's room with a small sitting room,
bedroom, kitchen and bath. It had its own outside entrance as well.

Next came four guest rooms, all on-suite, that were large and very comfortable.
All had king size beds and were decorated tastefully. Three had access to the
pool area through sliding doors to the patio. Then came the master suite. It was
huge, with tile floors with large area rugs. There was a separate sitting room
that had a writing desk and each room had its own fireplace. Also, a California
King bed with a massive mahogany headboard, matching dressers and an
armoire. It had a beautiful bench at the foot of it. There were two large dressing
rooms but the bathroom was a work of art! Done in beige marble with dual
sinks, marble tile floors, a huge shower done in marble and granite which could
hold at least four people with a marble bench at one end and six shower heads.
WOW!! Tommy looked at Robbie and winked.

The entire house was stunning. Sean told them that the people who owned it
were moving to London for business and wanted to sell the house completely
furnished, except for some of the art work and personal items. Both men looked
astonished. Now for the big question; Robbie got bold and asked it. "Okay, how
much for the house and all??" Sean laughed and replied, "Direct much??" Let's
go have a seat in the living room.

"The owners want out since they have to move and soon. They want this
completed soon, so they are askingÉ(DRUM ROLLÉ.) $7.4 Million. By the way,
that is in total. There is a 1/2 acre of land, a full security system, underground
electric lighting, and a 24-hour neighborhood patrol. Remember, this house is
13,674 square feet and for house, grounds and furnishings, that really is a

Sean got up and walked into the other room. "So, what do you think lover??"

would call the owners and see what they think. He went outside and placed the

excited about this impending sale and the commission he would make. He had

impeccable. "I realize you have another appointment today, so I will get the

"As I said, they are moving to, let's see, either Paris or London, but anyway to
Europe."

"They said they hoped you loved the house the way they have. I will contact you
this afternoon or early evening and if you can come by in the morning to sign
the papers. If we can expect the money transfer at the end of the week, you
should be able to close within a week or maybe 10 days. I am so pleased you

"I will let you both go, unless you want to take another look around before I
lock  up?" Robbie replied, "No, that's ok. We really have to run. We have taken

"I will send everything to our Law firm for approval and send the pics to our

"We are meeting friends for lunch and have to meet with the owner of `Le Belle'
to make that deal at 3:00 pm. We are very excited about all of this and thank

They got in the car and Robbie said as they buckled in, " My God, baby. I am the

Lunch arrived, looked terrific, and tasted even better. Marcel came to see how

staff to see if they would be willing to stay and help him run the place when he
was gone? Marcel that he would call a special meeting so they could all meet
Robbie and Tommy. They all assumed there wouldn't be a problem.

Lunch was finished and just then, Robbie got a phone call from his Dad who said
the figures were complete and perfect and that YES, he should definitely buy
the place. They would send a full cashier's check by bonded messenger
tomorrow morning, if that is what Robbie wanted. "Do it Dad. Have the
Corporate people send a check first thing in the morning. You will love this place
and most likely, there won't be any down time. The Staff will keep things
running."

"Oh, by the way, Tommy is buying me/us the house down here and has already
given them a deposit. Once things clear at that end, we will own a house here
too. You both will love it and can't wait for you all to see it. With 5 bedrooms,
you can pick your own suite and the Gilman's can pick theirs as well!!! That still
leaves two guest rooms for any lackeys or hanger's on who want to come down
for a weekend or whatever!!" Everyone laughed at that and then hung up.

Lunch was finished and they were asked if anyone wanted dessert? All said no
thanks and not even coffee. Marcel asked if they wanted to come back for
dinner that evening? Tommy said they would consider it and would let him
know later in the afternoon.

They paid the bill upon Robbie's insistence and went to drive back over to
Sean's office. Both men were more than elated about everything and were very
excited. It looked like they were going to spend a lot of time down here, and
what were they going to do for help? Would Elsa come down when they were
here? Would she want to?? This all has to be studied and questions asked. So
much to ponder!!

So, a new restaurant and a new house! AHHHH, to have money. It's all a dream
and a pipe dream for many. I would love a house like that, with hot nearly
