washed up, kissed discreetly and walked back to the house. On the patio
table was a spread of sandwiches, potato salad, sweet tea and a big
chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. It was, as it turned out,
both men's favorite cake. Everyone dug in and they chatted about the
weekend party and staying in Beverley Hills. It all sounded like fun.
Lunch was finished so Daryl and Sam helped Miss Ellie clear the table. Sam
had to get back to work since they had a new shipment of horses coming on
Friday morning.  Sam said goodbye to Elsa as he kissed Daryl and went back
to the huge horse barn. "See you in a while, crocodile!!"  They started to
laugh as he walked. Daryl just smiled and shook his head.

So dear friends, here ends Chapter 22!! Many more things to come: The party
at the restaurant, the trial, Daryl's move South to be with Sam, Daryl's
new job? Lots to look forward to. As always, please be safe, get vaccinated
