SIMON THE BACKPACKER - Part 9 By 'The Colonel' Simon lay down beside Ben and I motioned to Bill that we should leave them alone for a while. It wasn't until now that Bill and I both realised that we had been watching some of the most beautiful and erotic sex we had ever seen, but neither of us was sporting an erection. Neither of us felt tempted to indulge in any sexual activity ourselves. We had been privileged to witness a sexual celebration between two people we both loved, and whilst we had been drained emotionally, there was no physical reaction, which was exactly as it should be. Bill decided that he would go across the road and see how the Browns were settling in, or so he said, but I thought that he was hoping to see Linda, and maybe spend some time alone with her. About half an hour later Ben and Simon came downstairs, fully dressed for once, well shorts and tee-shirts, and Simon held up the key that I had given him as if to say `what is this for?' `Don't worry' I told him, `all will be revealed shortly.' Simon went out into the garden to make sure that everything was ready for the barbecue and Ben beckoned me into the sitting room. He sat me on the sofa and sat next to me. He took my left hand in both of his, kissed me gently on the lips and thanked me for being there when he lost his virginity. `It was an absolute joy to see you and Simon enjoying yourselves' I replied. He told me that after we had left them he and Simon had had a long conversation regarding their feelings for one another and they agreed that, like Simon and me, there would be no commitment between them, basically because of Ben's sexual inexperience. Simon did not feel that Ben was ready to distinguish between love and infatuation. Ben said that this had hurt him at first, but when Simon explained his reasoning, Ben agreed that Simon was right. `Besides' said Ben `If I see someone at school who I really fancy and get it together with them, I won't feel guilty about betraying Simon.' I pointed out that there was also the age difference to take into consideration, as there was with Simon and me. I said that I knew Simon would have affairs with younger men than me, and that was only natural, and I would not feel in the least betrayed. Just then there was a ring at the door. I knew this would be Simon's gift arriving and asked Ben to answer the door. `Special delivery for Mr. Valentine' I heard a voice say. Ben went into the garden to fetch Simon. When they got back the delivery man gave Simon a paper to sign, bur Simon said that he wasn't expecting any deliveries, and asked what it was. `Come outside and see for yourself' said the man. Simon and Ben went out with him and there, sitting in the road was a little white van bearing the legend: SIMON'S SERVICES Specialist in Gardening And General Maintenance Telephone 98765 43210 I went up behind Simon and said `Try your key in the lock.' He looked at me in absolute bewilderment and put the key in the driver's door -- needless to say it fitted. `Happy birthday, Simon' I said, taking the delivery sheet and signing it. `Oh, Bob, said Simon, `I can't possibly accept this' `Well, you'll need something to carry your tools around in' I said. `But I don't have any tools' he said. `Look behind you' I said, and there in the back of the van was a comprehensive tool kit and enough gardening implements to get him started. `The only thing I didn't manage to get was a lawn mower, but you can use mine for the time being'. He got out of the van and gave me a hug of thanks. `I'll thank you properly when we get in the house', he said, then looked proudly at the van `but I don't recognise the phone number' he said `Look in the glove box' I replied. He leaned in and did so and there he found a mobile phone. `This way, people can phone you even when you're not at home and you can make appointments with them and write them in your diary.' `Yes' he said `I'll have to get a diary' `There's one on top of your tool box' I said. `You seem to have thought of everything' he said `Well', I said `aren't you going to take us for a drive?' At this point Bill joined us and told us that he had a date with Linda the following evening while her parents were having supper with the minister. Then he saw the legend on the van and said `Simon's Services, huh, you didn't need the van when you serviced Ben this afternoon.' We all laughed and piled into the van, me in the passenger seat and the boys in the back with the tools. Simon drove us into town and we took the opportunity to pick up a few bits and pieces then headed for home again. Suddenly Simon brought the van to a halt at the side of the road. `I've just realised' he said `that I haven't got insurance!' `All taken care of' I replied, `the cover note is in the post'. Simon put his hand on my knee and gave it a quick squeeze. I looked at him and I could see there were tears in his eyes. `You'd better take us home while you can still see' I said and within five minutes we were walking through the front door. `Now I can thank you properly' Simon said and he took me in his arms and kissed me firmly on the lips. Our tongues found each other and we were oblivious of everything around us. When we eventually parted, we looked at the boys who were grinning from ear to ear. `You guys look really good together' said Ben `and I don't feel in the least bit jealous.' I went to him and hugged him and thanked him for being so thoughtful. `Time for barbecue', said Simon sniffing away a tear. Simon went to light the charcoal, the twins went into the kitchen to get the salads and the wine and I went into the garage to get a few beers. We sat around in a circle eating and drinking playing `footsie' with each other with our bare feet. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and all had far too much to drink and were all reduced to the giggly stage of inebriation when Bill suggested that Simon and Ben might want to sleep together, but Ben insisted that they had no `unfinished business' Well, said Simon `As it's my birthday, perhaps I can request that we all sleep together again.' We all thought this was an excellent idea and went inside. We locked up and went upstairs. We put all our clothes in a pile on the floor, and after the very necessary pees, we all piled into bed and laid our heads on pillows stained with Simon's semen and Ben's semen and blood. This inevitably brought back memories of that afternoon, and this time it did excite Bill and myself. Ben and Simon joined in the fun and once again we were a tangle of arms and legs, mouths and cocks and I really do believe that we each pleasured all three of the others in one way or another and we all fell asleep absolutely exhausted. As we had all consumed copious amounts of liquid it was inevitable that each of us would have to pee during the night. Each time one of us went to pee he had to disentangle himself, thus waking the other three and the whole process of hugging, kissing etc. etc. started again. Due to nocturnal activity and that fact that today was Saturday none of us ventured far from my bedroom until almost noon. The rain was persistent and it looked as though it was in for the day. We decided between us that the best thing to do was stay put in the house and try to entertain ourselves. As usual we were none of us overdressed, in fact we were in our normal naked state so you can imagine what sort of entertainment we made from time to time, especially as the boys would be back at school on Monday and Simon would be out and about `servicing' he village, which meant that we would be unable to spend as much time together. I was putting clean linen on my bed when the doorbell rang. Everybody else scooted upstairs to put some clothes on, so I slipped on my dressing gown and went down to open the door. On the doorstep stood a rather bedraggled David carrying a folder. `Hi, Colonel', he said `sorry to burst in on you.' `That's OK' I said `You'll have to forgive my state of undress but we were celebrating Simon's birthday yesterday and it was rather a late night for us all. Anyway, what can I do for you?' `Well,' he said `I've noticed that my kids are getting a bit bored as there's not much to do in the village and one of my projects at my last church was to get a youth club up and running, so I've just been to see the local minister to see if I can do the same here. He said that he thought there would be a lot of support, not only here but from the surrounding villages as well.' `I'm sure there would be and I'm sure the boys would be very interested.' `Interested in what? Sorry, hello Mr. Brown' said Bill as he and Ben came through the door. I explained David's idea about the youth club and the boys were delighted with the idea. `But what I really came here for' said David `is to see if you can help me out. Although I would be in overall charge of the club I need somebody from outside the church to help me. Then if any of the kids have a problem which they feel they don't want to talk to "the church" about, there would be someone else, an independent counsellor if you like, to help them sort out their problems. I just wondered if you might get involved.' He said to me. `Well, I think I might be a bit long in the tooth' I said, `but the answer to your little problem may be upstairs right now.' I called Simon and he came down now dressed in the regulation shorts and tee shirt. I explained David's idea to him and he immediately agreed to help out. He said that he had had previous experience in mentoring (Ben for one) and that he thought this was a brilliant idea. They shook hands and David went off happily, saying that he would discuss it further with the minister at supper that evening. We all knew what the others were thinking, that this would bring them in touch with other kids their own age and who knows where this might lead? Well, you'll have to wait until a future chapter to find out. The next chapter will be a one-off all about The Colonel's past and was suggested by John from Palm Springs. The storyline will pick up again in chapter 11. Also, I have become increasingly aware that some of the expressions I use are unfamiliar to you. Well, being from `Little Old England' I suppose this was inevitable, but if you need an explanation just get in touch. Thanks again for the idea, Denis The Colonel If you have enjoyed this ninth chapter, or have any comment to make please E-mail me at Colcalverley@aol.com Also PLEASE let me have any ideas for future storylines as I am running out of ideas. Several people have made suggestions and I will be bringing these in very soon. I will try to reply to all messages.
