I had been doing my usual routine of work, school, and the occasional outing with friends. My therapy sessions were going okay and I had actually decided to take Chuck's advice, which was unsurprisingly echoed by Lena and Marie. I had started dating. I had been out with a couple guys that Lena and Marie had selected, and Sean and I spent a few evenings together as well, platonically. I had not seen or spoken to Blake since we broke up, though he was never too far from my mind. This day had been nothing special. I went to work and then I went to a therapy session. I had agreed to go out with Michael that evening and was on my way home when I received a phone call from Sean. He wanted to go out together; I told him that Michael and I were going out and invited him to join us. He said that he might, so I gave him the name of the club and the time we would be there. Once I made it home I completed a few chores and watched television. Later Michael arrived and we headed out to the club. The club was pretty busy. There was a lot of energy pumping through the place. It was not long before I had lost my companion to the crowd of scantily clad men who were assembled on the dance floor. I rested on a stool at the bar for a few minutes and had a glass of water before making my way to the floor. I found Michael dancing with some young guy. "Excuse me, I thought I was your date." I exclaimed with a smile. "Hey Steve, this is Bryan." Michael said. "I'm Ryan." The guy corrected. "Oh, Ryan I mean." Michael said. "Nice to meet you Ryan." I said. We all danced together for a while, then we lost Ryan to someone else and Michael was soon taken by someone and I too found myself with a stranger, but it was fun. I was enjoying it; there was a rush that surged through my body. It actually was not very different from the pleasure I got from flirting. Dancing made me feel free, sexy even. I had been dancing for over an hour when I saw Sean watching me from the outskirts of the floor. I smiled and made my way over to him. "Hello." I said as I reached Sean. "You look like you are having a good time." Sean said. "I am having a great time. Why haven't you joined me?" I asked. "I was having a great time watching you." Sean said with a smirk. "Do you know how not to flirt?" I asked playfully. "Flirting." He leaned in closer. "I wasn't flirting, not yet." Sean said. I let out a child like giggle, "Well, I don't know if I am ready for your flirtation, but if you like you can buy me a drink and escort me back out on the floor." I suggested. "You make it sound like a privilege so I will do just that." Sean said with a chuckle. We walked over to the bar and he bought me a glass of juice and got a beer for himself. We sat at the bar and started to chat. "So how was your day?" I asked. "It has been an easy day. Fridays are usually good. How about you?" Sean said. "My day went smoothly." I replied. "That is good. So where is your date?" Sean asked. "I thought I was looking at him." I said with a grin. He laughed, "Are you flirting with me?" Sean asked playfully. "Oh, is that what I am doing, I was only mimicking you." I said. "Are you really that impressionable?" Sean asked flirtatiously. "Don't push it Sean." I said with a smile. "Where is the kid?" Sean inquired. "Michael is on a play date." I replied. "Well, I guess with the kid gone dad can play." Sean said flirtatiously. "Now you are definitely flirting." I proclaimed. "You like it though." Sean said. "Do I now?" I retorted. "Yeah, you like it." He said confidently. "You are so arrogant." I exclaimed. "No. Not arrogant just honest and I know you like me." He said with the same confidence. I blushed and smiled broadly, "You're right. I do like it, a little." I confessed. "I think it's more than a little but I'll take what I can get for now." Sean said with a devilish look. "Good boy." I said as I ruffled his hair. "Hey. Watch the hair." He said as he ran his fingers through his hair attempting to put it back in order. "Oh, sorry. I forgot how metrosexual you are." I said with a smile. "I just like to look good." Sean proclaimed. "Well, you succeed." I admitted. "See, I knew you liked me." Sean countered. "I want to dance." I exclaimed with fervor. "Come on." Sean said as he grasped my hand and led me to the dance floor. We spent the remainder of the night dancing and flirting. Sean was a better dancer than me, but not by much. He seemed to be enjoying himself and I know I was having a good time. At around 1 am I decided to pack it in. Sean and I left the dance floor and went to the bar to get a last drink. Then I looked for Michael. I found him outside the club talking the guy he was dancing with earlier, Ryan. "Hey guys." I said as I reached them. "Hey Steve." Michael said. "Hey." Ryan replied. "Are you about ready?" I asked Michael. "Yeah, just give us a few minutes." Michael requested. "Of course, I'll be at the bar. It was nice meeting you Ryan." I said and returned to the club. I walked over to the bar and sat next to Sean. "So are you ready?" Sean inquired. "In a few minutes, Michael is talking to someone." I explained. We chatted while we waited for Michael. It was not long before Michael joined us and we headed out. Sean had offered to give us a ride. He dropped Michael off first and then he took me home. "So is this the end of our date?" He asked. "Were you expecting something else?" I asked meekly. "Well, we have been going out for a while, you know I'm attracted to you." He said in a suggestive manner. "We have been going out for a few weeks, and I thought you said that it was as friends unless I wanted it to be more." I reminded him. "Yes, that is right, but are you saying you don't want to be with me? I mean you have been flirting with me, rubbing your hands across my chest, caressing my face." He cited. "Yeah. I have been flirting with you and you with me. I like it, I like you, but I am not ready to be in a relationship and I am not sure if I want to be your `fuck buddy'." I confessed. "There is nothing wrong with two friends having a little fun from time to time." He said with a sweet smile. I laughed, "Aw, is that how it goes?" I asked. "How what goes?" He inquired. "You flash those pretty teeth and those cute dimples and get your way?" I asked. "Usually." He said with a chuckle. "Well, I can see why. It is really a nice combination." I reached out and ran my fingers across his cheek. "But not tonight stud." I said with a smile. "That is what I am talking about." He said as he clasped the hand that I had on his face. "You are such a tease." He charged. "Oh, no, I am just being friendly. I thought you liked it." I said. "I do like it. I just want more." He confessed. "Well, I know I am not the only log on the fire. I am sure that you can work out the tension with someone else." I asserted. He laughed as if he acknowledged my comment as true. "Let me walk you in." He said. "No, I think you better stay here. Thanks for the ride." I said. "What are you doing next Saturday?" He asked. "I don't have any plans." I replied. "My friend Liam, the event planner, is throwing a Halloween party at Adam's, I want you to come." He said. "Is it a costume party?" I inquired. "Yes." He informed. "I don't know. I would have to get a costume. I just don't know." I said. "Come on, it will be fun. I can get a costume for you just tell me your size." He said. "No! I can only imagine what you would choose." I said with a chuckle. "Okay you choose the costume, just agree to come." He insisted. "Alright, I choose the costume and if I don't like the party I reserve the right to leave early." I countered. "That is fair, but you will have a good time." He said confidently. "Okay." I agreed. "Remember this is a club so choose something fun and sexy." He advised. "Maybe I will just wear a jockstrap." I said facetiously. "That would be hot." He countered with a smirk. I smiled, "Goodnight Sean." I said. "No friendly kiss?" He asked sweetly. "No." I said sternly. I exited the car and walked to the door. He sat there and waited for me to enter the building. Shortly after I went inside my apartment I received a phone call. "Hello Sean." I answered. "Just wanted to make sure you made it in." He said. "Thank you, I have." I assured. "I am still outside if you want me to come up." He said playfully. "No. You go on home and get some rest." I advised. "Okay, I will go home and sleep." He agreed. "Goodnight." I said. "Goodnight Steven, remember to dream about me tonight." He instructed. "Was there ever any doubt." I said sarcastically. "Not really." He retorted. "Goodbye!" I exclaimed and ended the call. I went to my bedroom and changed into my pajamas. Then I went to the bathroom for some night time hygiene. I gathered some blankets and a pillow from the closet and went back to the living room. I made up the sofa and prepared for sleep. I spent the remainder of my weekend studying. The week started fast and passed quickly. Before I knew it another weekend was upon me. I had been out with Sean a couple of times that week but the majority of my time was devoted to school and work. I went to lunch with Vanessa on Tuesday. We ate at a small sandwich shop. We received our food and headed outside to eat. "So, how are things going?" I asked. "Everything is fine. I am still doing the consulting." Vanessa informed. "That is really good." I said. "How was your conference?" She asked. "It was good. It went really well." I replied with a mild smile. "Look, Steven I wanted to have lunch with you for a reason. You have been a little distant with me lately." She said. I laughed lightly, "Well, when Blake and I broke up; I assume he told you?" I paused and looked at her, she nodded confirming he had. "I just thought that, since he and Rico are such good friends, that it might be weird if we continued on." I said. "Blake just told us you guys split up last week, so I am only just finding out." She explained. "But I don't see why that should impede upon our friendship." She said. "I like you Vanessa, I like you a lot, but I think it would be difficult enough if Blake and I just broke up, but given the fact that he was seeing someone else. . ." I said. "He was cheating?" She asked in surprise, interrupting me. "You didn't know?" I asked. "Of course not, that is horrible." She proclaimed. "I just assumed since Rico and Blake are so close, that Blake may have told him or that you two may have seen them together." I explained. "He hasn't mentioned anyone else or brought anyone around. I was still hoping that you two would get back together. I had no idea that it was on this level." She confessed. I smiled broadly, "Whew!" I exclaimed. "This makes you happy?" She paused. "Oh . . . . did you think I knew? Is that why you have been aloof?" She inquired. "I didn't know, but I thought it was a possibility and honestly, if you had known I would have understood the difficulty of your position, though I don't think we could have remained friends." I admitted. "If I had known I would have compelled Blake to tell you or told you myself if necessary. I wouldn't just stand by and allow you to be blindsided." She said. "That makes me feel much better." I confessed. "I just can't believe that Blake would cheat, I mean he always has been a bit of a player, but I have never known him to be deceitful." She paused. "It just seems so out of character for him. I am so disappointed, you two really seemed to love each other. He talked about you all the time, even recently, and he always refers to you as his `baby'." She sighed. "I am just so surprised." She seemed a bit distressed. "Everybody makes mistakes." I paused. "Blake is a good guy at heart, it just didn't work out for us, but I sincerely hope he is happy and I hope that you won't hold it against him, at least not on my behalf." I implored. "I'm sorry, I am just surprised." She confessed. "I guess it is a good thing that you are surprised." I said. "Why?" She inquired. "It means that I wasn't some type of idiot. You know, that Blake is a decent guy and this affair was out of character for him. It makes me feel like less of an idiot." I confessed. "No you were not an idiot." She assured. "Thanks." I said with a chuckle. "Well, I'm glad that we have that settled. I was wondering what was up." She said with a smile. "I am glad too." I agreed. "How did you find out he was cheating?" She inquired. "I came over one night and he had company." I informed. "Did you see them together?" She asked. "No . . . he told me that someone was there." I explained. "So you don't know who it was." She observed. "He said that the guy's name is Jonathan." I said. "Jonathan." She paused for thought. "I heard of a Jonathan, I think they play basketball with one, but I don't know if it is the same guy." She said. "Well, it really doesn't matter. What is done is done, I am just glad that we talked and cleared the air." I said with a smile. We continued to talk over our meal. When we were finished we embraced and planned to meet for lunch again the next week. I returned to work and later went to class. Then I went home and started the entire process again the next day. My Friday night and Saturday morning was a continuous rotation of chores and television. On Saturday afternoon I dropped off some clothes at the dry cleaners and went grocery shopping. Later that evening I started to prepare for the party. I had bought a football costume: tight little pants, high socks, cleats, and a short netted jersey. I even had Marie use makeup to create bruises on my arms and I soiled the outfit with grass and dirt stains to make it look more authentic. Sean arrived around 10 pm, wearing a brown trench coat. "Hello sir." I greeted as I let him in. "Hey. Nice costume, very sexy." He observed. "Thank you." I said. "The bruises are a nice touch." He said. What are you, a detective?" I inquired. "No. I am an underwear model." He said as he opened his coat to reveal that he was completely naked, except for a pair of black bikini underwear. "Wow, you must have spent hours on your costume." I said sarcastically. "Yeah, I spent hours trying to find the perfect pair of underwear. Do you like them?" He asked flirtatiously. "Well, I only see the front half, what about the back." I said playfully. He smiled mischievously and let the coat slip from his body. Then he turned around very slowly and flexed his ass. After giving me plenty of time to observe his backside, he turned back around, "So, what do you think?" He asked. "Very nice." I said with a broad smile and a shy chuckle. "And it is all me, no stuffing." He said flirtatiously, gesturing toward his crotch. "Yes, I remember." I said. "You remember?" He inquired. "Yes, you were naked and rather aroused, when I first met you." I explained. "Oh, the New Year's party, well that was so long ago. I would be happy to give you a refresher." He said flirtatiously. I chuckled, "A refresher?" I said with a smile. "Yeah, you can even touch it or play with it if you like." He said with a smirk. "You are so generous, but I don't think that will be necessary." I said. "Okay, but it is a standing offer." He advised. "I am sure it will stand rather well." I said flirtatiously. We both laughed. Sean put his coat back on and we headed out to the party. It was crowded, as I had expected. There was a great variety of costumes, most were very revealing. Sean introduced me to several of his associates, including Liam, the event planner. After we had mingled with a few of his friends we went out on the floor to dance. I enjoyed the dancing as I usually do. Sean was being particularly physical during the dance. He was constantly grinding against me and since he was only wearing that small pair of underwear, I could really feel his cock as it grew. Often, I had to pull away from him a bit, but he was persistent and he obviously liked what he was doing because he kept smiling at me as he did it. At some point I had become quite thirsty and we left the floor to get some beverages. Once we had our drinks we found a table and sat down. We chatted for a while about our dancing and about the amount of hot men present. Then we were joined by two attractive guys, one of which I recognized. Acknowledgement: I would like to thank all the people who contacted me with well wishes and concern recently, I am truly grateful. I know that it has been nearly two weeks since the last installment, but it was due to a bit of writer's block and a compulsive need to watch tennis, the combination was lethal. I would also like to congratulate two of my most supportive commentators, who I have come to consider friends, on their engagement. J.T and Mikal have decided to make a lifetime commitment to one another and I wish them every success and happiness. Lastly, I would like to wish everyone a happy Easter weekend.
