Story Written By David S "Strange Date's indeed" Chapter 4 I woke from a very contented sleep, I looked over and Tony lay there, his light sleep was endearing his smile as he slept was love...yeah love. He asked me lastnight to move in with him. Christ I don't even know what his favourite music is, what movies he likes, what he is allergic too. There is so much I need to know about him before that sort of commitment is taken. I need to let my Mom know, she loves me and wants me to be happy so yeah, this will send her for a loop, fuck it has me and it's me that is doing it. If you had told me that I would be sleeping and having sex with a tall dark handsome stranger and contemplating moving in with him after just a week of knowing him, fuck it hasn't even been a week!. I would have laughed in your face and rightly so. I looked at my watch "Fuck its 8:45am, fuck what day is it?" I asked myself confused. "Monday, it's Monday; shit what am I doing on Monday, meeting with a designer, but which one? Shit!" I said to myself still confused. Ikea or Wal-Mart? I kept asking myself, I reached for my cell, and looked at my diary, "Monday, Monday, Monday, ahhh here it is "I said to myself as looking through appointments. "Oh nothing damn" I berated myself for not entering the appointment. "Morning Ermmm" Tony groaned out stretching over and pulling me into a kiss. "Mornin yourself" I responded. "What's up" he asked looking at me searching through my cell. "I have a meeting today with a designer, I just don't recollect which one" I replied. "Don't you have an assistant?" he asked, and I nodded in the affirmative. "Well call him then and find out" he informed me, "She actually, Margaret" I replied, and I flipped open my cell once more and scrolled down to her number and rang her. "Good Morning Jack, what's up" she asked. "The appointment I have for today who is it with?" I asked. "Jack that's on Monday" she replied. "Yeah I know today is Monday" I responded, stupid woman, and Tony now giggling also, and I looked at the ceiling thinking of her stupid reply. "No Jack it's Sunday" she responded. "No it's Monday" I replied. "Jack trust me it's Sunday" she laughed out. "What day is it" I asked Tony and he switched the TV on and the Sunday review was on CNN, "Damn I don't know where my head is" I said talking to Margaret. "Don't worry Jack we all have days like that, but it's with Leo Trent of Ikea, ten sharp up town. Monday" she replied. "Thanks Margaret sorry for waking you on your day off" I said apologetically, sounding stupid. "Stop laughing" I berated Tony struggling to contain himself. "So what do you want to do today" he asked, and I gave an evil grin. "Horn dog" he replied pulling me down on top of him. "We have all the time in the world for that babe" he added. "I need to see my Mother, I need to tell her about me...about us" I replied. "Where does she live, and your dad" he asked, "Mum lives about 5 miles away with my Stepdad Mitchell, my dad died when I was young, killed at work" I added, remembering the man coming and telling my Mother of the accident at the car plant that took my dad. "Okay give her a call, and let her know that we are coming over after lunch" he said. "WE" I replied looking at his reaction. "Together babe, we do this together" he responded and he kissed my lips, and yeah I wanted him with me, Mum would be okay with it, shocked yeah but okay. I again picked up my Cell and dialled my Mother, and a couple of rings later a man answered the call. "Hi Mitchell, is Mum home?" I asked, "just a sec Jack I'll get her, LIZ!" he yelled, "JACK's ON THE PHONE, PICK UP" he continued to yell. "Hey Honey" she started, "Hi Mum, how you doing, it's been ages" I replied. "You know where I live Jack" she replied scolding me. "Yeah Mum sorry, it's been kind of hectic" I replied hoping that would work. "Yeah I know you designers are always burning the midnight oil" she laughed out. "So what gives the pleasure of this call, may I ask?" she asked. "I want to know if it is okay for me to pop round this afternoon, say two O'clock" I asked and she laughed. "Since when do you ask to come home Jack" she asked. "Mum please, I have something I need to tell you okay" I replied. "Jack are you okay, are you ill?" she asked with concern in her voice. "No Mum I haven't been better, but I will explain this afternoon okay" I replied, and she said her farewell's and told her I would see her this afternoon. I lay in Tony's embrace for over an hour, I had never felt more calm more at ease more safe than I had in that hour. "Breakfast" he yelled and climbed his naked ass out of bed and walked to the shower. After he came out all damp and sex personified a vision of perfection, he sat down on the bed and looked at me. " I meant what I said lastnight, I want you in my life permanently, I want you here with me" he repeated. "But I understand your trepidation, so I will give you all the time you need, okay" he finished and put on some shorts and a T. "Breakfast will be ready in about ten, so go shower and I will see you at breakfast" he finished, leaving the room going through to the kitchen. I do love him, I have never felt like this ever, but fuck!, it's only been a week since we met. I had soon showered and walked into the breakfast nook, "Hey something smells good, besides you" I said, wrapping my arms around his waist. "Go sit" he replied. I kissed his cheek and sat down just in front of him, "Bacon eggs, sausage, and hash browns, tuck in!" he instructed as he placed the pot of coffee next to the pitcher of orange juice. "Wow smells nice, heart attack on a plate or what!" I proclaimed, "Don't worry about that I intend on us burning that off later on" he smirked. I laughed at that comment and tucked in. "I love this, I mean this...you know waking up having breakfast with someone you care about...this" I said pointing at him then me. "Yeah me too" was his reply. I looked at him devouring his breakfast, I watched him chew his food, the way he drank his juice and then his coffee, I loved everything about Tony. He was perfect! "Tony I want to have more of this, but we have only known each other a few days, and well committing to a live in relationship is a huge step, and no it doesn't scare me it excites me. but can we just see where we are in say ...a month, and if we feel then what we feel now, okay yeah I will move in with you...but a month okay" I said with a smile huge across my face, and on his. "Yeah, I can wait a month, but I will be at your place when you are not here, so it is irrelevant anyway" he laughed out and kissed my cheek leaving ketchup on my face. "I love you Jack...do not ever doubt that" he said to me as he stood up and took away his empty plates. And I don't doubt the fact he loves me. Fuck I love everything about him, even his farts don't disgust me, so it must be love. We talked about what we wanted out of our future and he got corny and just said that he needed and wanted me in it, soft or what. "Okay you ready to meet my Mother" I asked and he smiled and replied. "Yeah lets meet the mother in law. We left his apartment and drove towards my home so I could get some more stuff. As I pulled up I spotted Becky talking to a mutual friend of ours, and as Jerry walked away I yelled. "Hey Beck!" and she turned and walked towards the both of us. "I see I don't need to ask how you two are getting on" she asked, I walked over and grabbed her in a hug. "Thank you" I whispered into her ear. "You are very much welcome" she replied whispering into mine. "I have only known him a few days Beck, but I know I am going to be with him for the rest of my life" I continued whispering as Tony stayed by his car. "Jack all I have ever wanted was for you to be happy" she continued. "And I can see by your face you are getting there at least" "He asked me to move in with him" I told her. "Wow, really and I take it you said yes" she responded. "I told him a month to see if we still feel the same" I replied. "You have fallen for him haven't you?" she asked, and I smiled and she didn't need an answer. "Good for you" she replied and kissed my forehead. "So where are you off too" she asked. "To see Mom" I replied. "I wouldn't worry about Liz, she is down to earth and takes life as it is thrown at her" she informed me, but I already knew that anyway, but she had to hear it from me. "Yeah I know, it is still a shock to me, but I have grown used to it and I love him" I told her. "YOU LOVE HIM!" she said just above talking level, and that got Tony's attention, and he talked back at the same level. "The feeling is very much mutual!" "Wow, I am pleased for the both of you, and as I said Jack you look happier than I have ever seen you" she informed me and hugged me. "I will speak to you soon okay" she said before leaving. I walked the short distance and collected some stuff from my apartment, and remembered that my lease was up for renewal in about six weeks and wondered if I would actually renew it. I doubted that I would and smiled. I walked back to Tony's car and we drove out of the city and headed into the suburbs to my old home to inform my mother of the change in my life, a change that I have found for the better. "What you thinking about" Tony asked. "Honestly" I responded. "Yeah of course" he replied. "Well a year or so ago, I was contemplating getting married you know the whole shebang Kids, white picket fence". "And now" he asked. "Still want kids, white picket fence...nah not so much!" I replied. "We can adopt" he responded. "Yeah I know or surrogate" I added. "Now who's jumping in feet first" he asked. "Just practical, I am looking at us in years to come not weeks" I added. "Nice to hear" he replied and smiled that evil grin, like I am going to nail you to the bed later tonight. "Just to the left and it's the second block along" I told him as we pulled into the lane that my Mother's house occupied. "You Okay?" he asked as we parked in the driveway. "Yeah, I am better than I thought I would be" I responded, as we walked to the door and rang the bell. The door opened and Mitchell was standing there. "Hey Mitchell, you look good" I said to the person who has made my mother very happy over the past six years, and that I was grateful for. "So do you Jack, so do you" he replied pulling me into an embrace. "Mitchell, this is my friend Tony Marcus" I introduced him, and Tony gave me the what the fuck look. And I just smiled at him. "Hello Tony nice to meet you, come in come in" he responded and we followed him into the living room. "Liz oh sorry your Mother just popped next door with some scraps for the dog, you know how she is" he said with a smile. "Yeah she can't abide waste of any kind" I replied with a giggle. "Hello Honey, come here and give me a hug" My mother said as she walked into the living room, and she grabbed me and squeezed me "You look thin, doesn't he look thin Mitch" she asked Mitchell and he just said. "Leave the boy alone he's fine stop fussing woman" he sniggered at her. "Mom can you sit I have to say something while I still have the nerve to say it" I asked and she sat down. "Who's this young man" she asked me. "Mom this is Tony Marcus" I started. "Is he your boyfriend" she asked and I was stunned, I must have had a rabbit in headlights look on my face. "Erm...What...ermm" "Jack I am your mother, do you not think I notice things, you were always miserable with those girls Rebecca included, okay not miserable but not happy" she went on, "So is he" she asked again. "Yes Mom he is" I said in a low voice. "Mom we only met a week ago, Becky set us up on a blind date, I was shocked to hell when I realised she set me up with a guy, but we just clicked" I said and stared at Tony, he staring at me. "Damn Damn Damn" Mom said out loud, "You have cost me forty bucks young man" she informed me. "How...what do you mean" "When you and Rebecca split up, her mother said you split but remained very good friends and she said that you would turn out to be gay and bet me forty bucks, suppose I have to pay up" she informed me, and I smiled. I reached for my wallet and pulled out two twenties. "Here Mom on me" I added, and kissed her cheek. "So Tony what do you do for a living" Mom asked him and he explained everything he did in a very plush building and she seemed impressed, he looked around the house I grew up in and spotted several pieces of furniture I designed and constructed. "So what are your intensions towards my son" she asked, "MOM!" I berated her. "Fare question Jack, I want to know if his intensions are good. "Mrs Lloyd, I assure you I love him with all of my heart, and if this state allowed us to marry I would in a heartbeat, but having him in my life is good for now" Tony answered my Mothers question and she smiled at his response. "Good answer" she replied... The month came and went and I gave up my lease and moved my stuff into Tony's and stored the rest away. I loved him more every day. The weeks passed into months and the months passed into years, I still love him the same way I did when we first met, the sex between us gets more intense as we got older, whether he tops or I do, we love sex equally. I love when he makes love to me and he loves when I make love to him. We have been together now for almost three years and now decide to make things a little more interesting. "Found one babe" Tony said as he walked into our living room, "She looks perfect, I approached the agency that represents her and she is coming around to talk to us tonight" he continued, I spoke to her this afternoon and babe she sounds wonderful. "Jack you are crying what's wrong" Tony asked as he wrapped his arm around me. "Babe I want this so badly, you know our own perfect little family" I replied. "Sweetheart it will happen you just need to have faith" Tony replied. "Yeah but we have been searching for over a year for someone willing to carry a child for a gay couple" I reminded him. "She's gay" he replied, "so no prejudice on her side" he added. "How did you find her, how did you know she was gay" I asked. "Becky, she said that she carried a child for her cousin and her partner was often around" he responded. I stood and wondered how Becky had been so influential in my life, she dated me, she found my life partner my soul mate, and now she has found the person who could complete us and all I could do was smile. A few hours later Jackie Lancaster walked into our lives, we chatted and we hit it off instantly she told us about her love of kids, she had one of her own but loved the idea of helping people who could not have kids of their own, either because they couldn't or like us, gay. We agreed a fee, and set out the schedule. And who would be the one to provide the Sperm, and I decided it would be Tony, and he agreed. And if we decided to have a second I would have the honours. I knew I wanted more than one, I was an only child and okay Mom was good but I would have loved to have a sister or a brother to play with, so two minimum. Eight weeks later we received a call from Jackie informing us that she had a positive test from the doctors saying she was pregnant, I pulled Tony into a kiss, and hugged him tight and then something shocked me, coincidence I don't know but I noticed the date. "Tony do you know what today is" I asked, and he looked at me with puzzlement on his face. "No babe sorry, have I forgotten something?" he asked. "Three years today, we met on out strange date", and what a date that will live with me for the rest of my life, the date that changed my outlook on life and yes it was strange...a very strange date indeed. The End...for now. This is the end of the first part of this story; I will pick this up just before the birth of their first child to the surrogate. I do hope you liked the way the first part concluded no drama just romance. Anyone who has read my other stuff know I love a bit of drama, but for this one I decided against any pain in the story. Let me know what you thought. davidspowart3@hotmail.com David
