"Thought you knew someone who could do those for us?"

"Yeah I do but we need to decide how many we get done because the higher
the number the lower the cost; it may also be worth considering whether we
should get the equipment to do it ourselves because that could be even more
cost effective."

"Yeah, could do but where could you put it? Anything large enough to do A3
prints is going to be pretty big."

"In the fourth bedroom; have you not seen that?"

Luke said he hadn't so they got up and Simon took him into the room
adjacent to the bathroom that always had the door closed. Luke had never
thought of looking inside. It was a small single room that had been fitted
out with shelving to store materials such as blank CDs, plastic sleeves to
send them out in and stocks of paper plus a whole range of other stuff.

"We could build a work surface along this wall I reckon" Simon said looking
at a fairly blank wall behind the door.

"Why don't we go and get a few copies done to fill this order and see what
equipment the guy uses, then we can see what the cost would be to buy one."

"Yeah, brilliant idea" Simon grinned, "I've not only picked a good looking
guy with a big cock but a brainy one as well" he added as he put his arm
round Luke's shoulder.

"Fuck off!" Luke giggled and smacked Simon's naked butt.


Twenty minutes later they were driving off to see the guy Simon knew to
copy the prints they required plus the rest of the drawings to get some
prices.

"Hi Evan, how are you?" Simon said as he walked into Evan's workshop that
was situated in a mews in Islington, "This is my boyfriend Luke who's an
artist and we want some prints done of some of his drawings."

Evan looked up at Luke and immediately stopped work.

"Hi Luke, nice to meet you" he said looking up and down at Luke's body.

"Put your tongue in Evan," Simon laughed, "he's mine".

"You lucky bastard, where did you find this gorgeous hunk?"

"I'll ignore that and get down to business if I may" Simon chided Evan as
he asked Luke to pull out the drawings they wanted copying.

As soon as Evan saw them he immediately picked each one up and studied
them.

"Fucking hell, these are awesome, and you've done all these have you Luke?"

Luke nodded grinning. As he did so his mind shot back to the foul comment
his father had made about his pictures. Since then, everyone who'd seen
them thought they were good and it made him feel very proud.

Evan then showed them the machine he'd use to do the prints and offered to
do them there and then if they had time to watch. Simon looked at Luke and
grinned.

"Yeah, we're in no hurry" he replied making a mental note of the make of
the machine and model number.

Within a very short time, Evan had produced the copies required plus a copy
of all the others Luke had brought with him so he could see how they looked
as a print. Simon had got him to sign each drawing so his signature showed
in the bottom right hand corner of each one. He was grinning from ear to
ear as he looked at them on Evan's desk.

"Wow, that didn't take long" Simon commented as he rolled them up to take
home, "Thanks, how much do we owe you?"

Evan said he'd do them at cost price if he could keep one particular print
which he rather liked, "I'll frame that and put it on the wall in the
office" he said smiling, "I bet some of my customers will want copies as
well so I'll put them onto you".

"Thanks" Luke replied.

"These will sell like hot cakes I reckon Simon; why don't you invest in a
machine like this of your own; it would be cheaper in the long run as much
as I'd like to do them for you I don't really have the time with all my
other work."

It was exactly what Simon had hoped Evan would say so he pulled out his
electronic notebook and noted all the details which Evan was happy to give
him. He even gave him details of the stockist and what paper he would need
to order to do the prints on.

"Well, that was a successful visit" Simon chuckled when they were on their
way home.

"So do you think it will be worth buying a machine like that then?"

"Yeah, I do babe"

Once they were back home, Simon was on the net to look up prices and having
decided it was definitely worth investing in one, he called the supplier
Evan had given him and ordered one.

"Will be here next week" Simon announced when he'd finished the call, "all
we now need to do is set up a solid workbench to put it on and get a stock
of the paper Evan recommended."

"We also need cardboard rolls to post them in" Luke added.

"Good thinking batman; why don't you source those and the paper whilst I
measure up what materials we'd need to build a workbench; any good at
woodwork?"

Luke giggled saying he had done the odd job for his mum.

"Excellent then we're in business; Frank and I built the desks in this room
so I'm sure with my brains and your good looks we can manage it" Simon
laughed.

"Yeah, and don't forget the big cock!" Luke chuckled.

"How could I possibly forget?" Simon laughed as he walked out of the
studio, "I can still feel it up my arse!"

Luke just loved the way he and Simon joked with each other; it was such a
change from his home life and he felt so very happy. He immediately
searched on the net for the items they wanted and soon found what he was
looking for. Having noted the prices he trotted into the other room where
Simon was to tell him the news.

"Excellent, then place an order and use my credit card; you'll find it in
my wallet" Simon replied as he noted down the measurements he'd just taken.

Luke found Simon's wallet and pulled out the credit card. As he did so, he
noticed a couple of photographs slipped in behind the card. He partially
pulled them out and took a peep. One was of Frank which he expected but the
other was a big surprise. Simon had reduced down and printed off the one
Luke had included with his application for the job and put it with
Frank's. Luke looked at it and felt a tear form in his eyes, "This guy
really does love me to have gone to those lengths so soon" he thought to
himself, and decided to ask Simon if he could have a photo of him to put
onto his phone.
