If you are looking to get off quick, read something else. This story is presented in serial form and you'll read a lot of background, before you get any mindblowing sex scenes. If you are bothered by same sex relationships, read no farther. This is a story about the interaction of males with each other in a fanciful setting. It's a story with some sex, not sex with some story. Thanks to those who have encouraged me to continue with the presentation of this series. Hope that you continue to enjoy. LJB Prophecy/Prophesy A few have questioned the spelling in the title, pointing out the difference between the noun and the verb. The error in the title is the use of the indefinite article "a". Prophecy has an implication of religous source which is not true of this story. Prophesy has a super natural connotation which was the intent of using this verb. The title should have been: To Fulfill Prophesy, using a double verb. Please, no more spelling notes. To Fulfill a Prophesy Section 7 Dean - Friday afternoon Tuesday morning was my first appointment with Ted's counselor. I had decided, if he had been willing to see a counselor in order to help me, I was willing to see her to help myself. Jason and Dale were in bright and early and we were off to my appointment. Davey was making good progress. In fact, his recovery was next to miraculous. Overnight he appeared to have done a week's worth of healing. The swelling around his eye had reduced greatly and now both of those dark blue eyes were busy observing all that was happening around him. His forehead and the split in his lip were closed and his bruising and welts had faded significantly. The soreness of body and spirit had eased and his muscles felt more like normal. Eating regularly for a day had also made a difference in his mood, strength and recovery. Early in the morning, the physio guy had been in and walked with him again. Ted had been there and Davey was given permission to walk for short periods throughout the day with Ted's supervision and assistance. Shortly after this good news, Davey ran into a small problem. She came in the form of a very cute, energetic, student nurse who arrived in Davey's room determined to give him a bath. Davey, of course decided she wasn't going to do so and a standoff occurred. Ted noted the disturbance on the closed circuit monitor, while he was doing some paper work in the security suite. By the time he rounded the corner into Davey's room, the young lady had managed to get Davey's hospital gown away from him and he now sat in bed clutching his bed sheet tightly around his body looking like a mummy prepared to defend its honour. He was so upset, he was beyond being able to express himself and she was so busy doing as she had been told, she didn't recognize how much distress he was experiencing. Ted tactfully suggested, he would look after Davey's bath and that he had just now come to run the tub. She was uncertain about what should be done, but like all the staff on the floor was not prepared to oppose this very handsome, tall and massive giant. The relief on the boy's face was obvious. Ted realized, the girl had been right. Davey needed a bath. The cleaning they had done in the Emergency treatment room had been superficial and he was really still quite grubby. Ted ran water in the large tub, hot, but not unreasonably so. He taped a clean plastic pad over the sutured area on Davey's cheek to protect it from any moisture. Ted removed his own shirt and draped it over a chair, then telling Davey he would be responsible for holding his cast on top of his chest, he picked up the boy carefully and carried him into the bathroom. Slowly, Ted lowered him into the steaming water. The cast arm was wrapped with a towel, then moved onto the flat border which ran around the top of the basin, well away from the water. "This time we're going for clean." the big man declared to his young ward. "We're going to soap everywhere, as many times as it takes to get rid of all that dirt." After throwing several wash rags into the water, he picked up a bar of soap and handed it to Davey. "Get at it." he commanded. "Ahhh., aren't you even going to help me." Davey whined. As he spoke a cascade of water splashed over his head. Ted had picked up a basin from the counter and dipping it full from the tub, dumping it to totally soak the boy's hair. "You're trying to drown me." Davey sputtered loudly as the last of the water ran down his face. "You'll live." Ted laughed at him. Ted then proceeded to rub shampoo into the boy's hair. He used a liberal amount of the soapy liquid, but was unable to raise a lather, so he again created the waterfall, much to Davey's consternation and applied another dose of the shampoo. This time the foamy suds blossomed, and soon the lather was showing that the desired task was being achieved. Ted massaged the scalp thoroughly, making sure that every inch of the boy's head had been totally soaped. The suds were removed with two further basins of clean water, amid much sputtering and complaints, but Ted was sure that those unruly, blonde locks were truly lighter in colour. He then set about washing the boy's back with a well soaped rag. Suddenly, without any preface, Davey asked, "Do you like me now, Ted, because you didn't when you first saw me." Ted responded immediately to the question, "I told you before, Davey, it wasn't that I didn't like you, I just didn't know where your situation was going to lead us and I had to consider all the possibilities. And the answer to you question is, `Yes', I like you, very much." There was a long pause during which Ted moved down the side of the tub and began carefully washing Davey's feet and legs. Davey had stopped rubbing soap on himself, thinking very seriously and just watched Ted as he soaped and cleaned each foot and lower leg carefully.. "Do you love me Ted, `cause I love you ?" Davey asked. Ted stopped what he was doing and looked gently into Davey's deep, dark blue eyes. He saw panic and uncertainty, but he also saw the boy laying himself bare by risking his question. "I'm not trying to avoid your question, Davey," Ted said, "but there are many different kinds of love and I want to be sure, we are talking about the same thing. There is the love that a couple have for each other...." "You mean like you and Dean ?" he interjected. "Boy you really don't miss much do you. Dean and I love each other as friends...." "Are you sure you're telling me the truth, `cause it sure looks like more than friends to me." he again interjected, expressing openly what he really felt. "..as friends, but we are possibly going to end up more than friends." He waited to see if there was to be more comment and when there wasn't he continued, "And there is love that one may feel for one's country, or for one's pets, or for one's friends, or for one's parents or children. There is also lust which is often a selfish kind of love." When there was no further question, Ted suggested, he help Davey stand up, so that he could get at the rest of the scrubbing. Davey nodded and looked after supporting his cast, wrapped snugly in a towel. Ted started soaping Davey's buttocks and the back of his legs. When this was completed, he helped Davey turn around soaped up his chest, stomach, groin and thighs. Not surprisingly, Davey was sporting a semi- erection, which was no doubt going to become fully extended, with further washing. He was not embarrassed with Ted washing him this time, because he had come to feel a kinship to his protector, that he believed made everything they shared between them okay. Again without any preface, Davey asked, "Would you ever adopt a son like me ?" Ted thought a minute and then replied, "If `like me' means a nice, friendly, intelligent, good looking, loving son like you, then I guess I might." "I mean a gay cocksucker, like me." he replied bowing his head and with a tremor in his voice. Ted looked into Davey's eyes again and saw a flood of tears ready to burst through a dam of will power. "A boy like you, maybe not," Ted answered honestly, "but you, most certainly." Tears rolled down Davey's cheeks, but they were more tears of happiness then sorrow. "I would very much like to be your son, Sir. I know Dean has been really good to me, but he already has a son. He can love both you and his son, couldn't you love both him and me ? You're the one who has looked after me and I do love you, like you were my Father." Ted had stood up and hugged Davey to him while this all poured forth and Davey had laid his head on Ted's bared chest. " I love you like a Son, Davey, but we will have to wait and see how everything works out. You can be sure, I will never let anything happen to you that will harm you and if it ever comes to the situation, where I have you and a partner to love, I believe I can manage that. Now let's get your bath finished before this water gets too cold." Ted finished washing the boy, so that every nook and cranny had been totally cleaned. He lifted Davey out of the tub and stood him on a mat, while he wrapped several towels around him and dried him completely. "When we were talking before you called me `Sir'." Ted commented. "I don't want to call you `Ted' any more and I don't have a right to call you `Dad'." Davey replied, hanging his head again. "Do you think maybe I had better call you `David' then, instead of `Davey' ?" Ted suggested. Davey thought about it for a little while. "I see your point. I will call you `Ted' for now, but every time I do, you will know that I wish I was saying `Dad'." he declared. Ted ran his fingers through the boy's hair and gave him a gentle hug. He then carried him back to his bed and after finding a clean gown for him to wear, tucked him in. "How long do I have to stay here, in the hospital ?" Davey asked. "I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't too very much longer." Ted told him with a smile. "Now, I have to go and make a few telephone calls and then, I will be back to beat you at a couple games of checkers." Davey had a big grin on his face as Ted left. My time with the counselor was very productive. I did most of the talking, filling her in on my recollections of the events that had transpired involving and since the death of my parents. Of course she had the benefit of Ted's input from a number of prior sessions, so it was not that difficult for her to understand where I was having problems. I was totally open with her about my sexual history and my feelings for Ted, but did not presume to speak for him. She was very supportive of the goals I was setting for the immediate future and we agreed to meet again in a few days. I felt very good when I returned to the hospital. Davey - Tuesday afternoon I was exceptionally pleased with myself. I had won two out of three games of checkers with Ted and had decided I was the champion of checkers. Ted and Dean had sat with me and had lunch with me and then, they had gone to their offices for a while, leaving Jason to watch over things. I like both Jason and Dale, so I was not concerned that both Ted and Dean were gone for a while, at the same time. Ted had told me, I would have a couple visitors today, people that I did not know, but would not spoil the surprise by saying who. In the middle of the afternoon Jason brought in a gentleman, who carried a black satchel bag, that he introduced as Mr. Smythe. He was the barber, who ran a shop at the McAdams Corp. head office building and Ted had arranged for him to cut my hair. We talked for a few minutes and decided what style I would like best and he agreed that what I had in mind would look okay, so Mr. Smythe set to work. Half an hour later, he was gone and I was left admiring a new hair cut with another big, satisfied grin on my face. I had dozed off for a short nap, but suddenly my eyes snapped open. Someone was in my room. I had not heard the door open and the person had made no noise, but I knew he was there. I could feel his presence. Turning my head quickly to the side, I saw a very short, thin Chinese man. The man was standing about four feet from my bed watching me very closely. "Yes, I thought you would know I was here." the man said, and then he made a slow, low bow and added, "I am Chen." Looking at this man, I knew that the man would do no harm to me, although I felt certain if he chose, he would be quite capable of doing so. "You are Mr. Davey and I have brought you many parcels, as Mr. Ted requested." "I am pleased to meet you, Mr. Chen." I said with a smile. "I believe we are going to be friends." I had already decided, I liked Chen and that this man would be important to me. Mr. Chen placed the bags, one at a time, in my lap so I could inspect each one. I became more and more excited as I inspected the contents from each container. To start out, there were pajamas and a robe and slippers, for me to wear while recovering from my injuries. No more need for hospital gowns. Then there were shirts, pants, socks and shoes to wear when I left the hospital and personal items, which I had never had before, like a watch with Mickey Mouse's face on it, some deodorant sticks, gum, a comb and brush set and a nail clipper with a file. There was also a bag with several comic books and some small books for a beginner reader. I looked the books over carefully. Looking closely at Mr. Chen I said, "These books are not for kids my age. You already knew I can hardly read." Chen continued folding and putting away the items on the bed, without looking at me and replied, "We will begin working with these books, as soon as you come home." After everything was put neatly away, Chen turned to me and said, "Your leg is damaged. Will you show me ?" I nodded and pulled the sheet and hospital gown back from my hip, exposing it to the little man. Chen looked very carefully at the hip and then asked, "May I touch it ?" Without any hesitation, I nodded and Chen reached out and laid both of his hand over the sore leg joint. He just stood there, staring at the sore area, with his hands covering it. "Your hands are very warm, Mr. Chen." I commented. The man remained silent, focusing his total attention on the injury. We were both quiet for another couple minutes. "Your hands are getting very hot, Mr. Chen." I observed. I realized, the longer Chen's hands remained on my side, the more intense the heat I felt. Just as the heat reached the point, I was afraid I could tolerate it no longer, Mr. Chen removed his hands. "You are a very brave boy." Chen said, his face having shown no change in expression since he had arrived. "Your leg will be fine." He went directly to the door, turned and bowed to me. "Thank you, Mr. Chen." I called out, but he was gone. Dean - Friday afternoon I don't think that Davey's haircut was quite what Ted had expected. But then, he was not all that experienced in anticipating young teen boys. Who ever truly is ? We had promised to get back to the hospital in time to have supper with Davey and true to my new resolve, about my personal time, we were there. When we walked into his room, Ted let out a definite groan and I couldn't help, but chuckle. Davey was sitting in bed with his sheet pulled up around his neck, just beaming. He actually looked very good, sporting a short cut, brush cut, just like Ted wore. "Do you like my haircut ?" he crowed. "It's great." I said, "but how am I going to be able to tell whether I'm talking to you or Ted ?" I asked. Davey just giggled. "I got something even better than my hair." he bragged. "Ta da." he trumpeted as he swept the sheet away and showed us, that he was wearing his new pajamas. "Wow!" Ted crooned. "Really sharp, Sport." Given the split healing on his lip, it had to hurt to be smiling as wide as Davey. "I got something even better than new clothes." he teased and with that he jumped out of bed and ran over to us. Ted and I just about had heart attacks, when he had left his bed and then, we just looked at each other. He showed no sign of any kind of discomfort from his leg, or hip and moved around the room with little effort. "Chen has been here." Ted said and I understood immediately. This was not the first time, we had both associated unexplained events with Mr. Chen's presence. "Well, I got something even better than all those things." Ted mimicked Davey. "I know who's going home tomorrow." Davey stopped beside Ted and stood with his mouth wide open and this unbelieving look on his face. "Me." he gasped excitedly. Then he got this peculiar look as though a thought had just occurred to him that was a puzzle. "Where exactly is home going to be ?" he asked. "Where do you suppose ?" I inquired. "Well, I hope it's going to be with Ted or you." he replied. "But it could be back where I came from, sleeping under the bridge, or to juvy services to be put in another foster home." "Davey, I know you are going to have times when you feel uncertain and afraid," Ted told him, "but you already know, Dean and I will not let anything happen to you. You have trusted us about a number of things so far and you can trust in us about that. You will go home with us and you will stay with us until you choose to live somewhere else." Davey looked at both of us and then cuddled up to Ted looking for a hug, which he promptly received. It was hard to remember, a young boy who was as perceptive as Davey most of the time, had a right to feel insecure and need reassurance on a regular basis. The Prophesy of the Guardians The House of Chen, being both old and honourable, shall be the Caretakers of this vision of the yet to come. From this time forth, one son will be born to the House of Chen in each generation to the number of 110. These males shall be the Caretakers and shall guard this knowledge until its time arrives. In the world of new beginnings, a Shogun (Leader/Prince) of infinite wealth, after being lost and found again by his Samurai (Warrior Chief) Each Guardian will possess gifts. Each will sense the presence of others. There are dark forces and men who fear the power of the Guardians and would use it for their own purposes.
