Date: Fri, 15 Jun 2001 07:12:26 -0700 (PDT) From: Pigs Fly Subject: To Love Again Part 6--Beginnings section of nifty archive This is an original story and all similarities in names, places, etc, alive or otherwise, are pure coincidences. A word from the author: Hi, everyone. This is your very beloved (shameless?) author, writing his two cents worth; hehehe!!! Well, this part is pretty fast despite the fact that I am writing it 6 days before my U.S. History 1 second test, and I have to tell you that it is not the easiest thing. In case any of you are wandering, I am still alive; thanks for asking. Hahahahaha! Do you get the joke? No, never mind then. Hard to explain to you if you don't get it!!! Hahaha!! Hmm, so in the last chapter, you guys have seen how silly and corny the characters are, namely Ted and Jeremy. I am their "creator," so naturally I have those silly personalities; hehehehehe!!! Hmm, seems my two cents worth are valued more like five cents than just two cents. Hehe! Read the chapter and get back to me with comments or just say: "Hi!!" Bang!!! The sudden loud noise jerked me up from my sleep. "Wha...what's that?" I murmured, feeling sleepy still. Ted was not in the car and I was shocked to see him arguing with a man, around the age of 40 or so, outside. I was about to alight from the car when I noticed Ted walking back to the car. "F***!!! He almost collided into us and dared to question what I was doing." Obviously, my man was not in the Christmas mood of forgiving and forgetting. "Ted, maybe he is right, you know? Okay, wait! Hold on! I am on your side, but I am simply trying to be fair here. I have seen you drive before and today is no exception. You are speeding, neckbreaking speed at that. I love you, sweetheart, but I have to tell it as it is," I told him calmly. I might be impulsive in making decisions, but at least I was being logical and reasonable here. "Well...I guess you're right, love. I do speed, but he is also in the wrong. He was not seeing where he was going," he answered. "Yeah, he may be. I am not sure, loverboy. I just woke up, but knowing you, I know you won't implicate someone without any reason at all, so I believe you." "Thanks, you are always so good with words. You make me feel so much better. What do I do to deserve you?" He said tenderly. "Just being who you are," I replied, touched by the sincerity in his voice. Ted was so sweet; I knew I was the lucky one here, but my man would just argue back and said that he was more fortunate. Well, maybe basking in glory once in a while was good; hehehe!!! "Hmm, where are we right now?" I asked, suddenly aware that I must have slept for some time. As I looked around, I was surprised to see that we had gone this far. "Ted, why didn't you wake me up? How long have you been driving?" "Hey, it doesn't really matter. I am glad that you enjoy your sleep, love," he answered, smiling that millionsssssssss dollar smile at me. "Aww, Ted, do you have to be so sweet?" I was so touched that I just didn't know what I could have said to him to thank him for being my man. "You are my man, my soulmate. Being sweet is just a second nature whenever I am with you. You are a good influence, I believe." Sigh, this man was just so loving and sweet! "Well, I will drive now, Ted. You have driven for more than two hours now. Get some sleep, honey. I will wake you up later." "Hmm, I guess that is a good idea. I am aching all over my back now," he streched out his back as he started to alight from the car and sit where I had just sat, or rather, slept for more than two hours and I took his place. "I will sleep now, babe. Wake me up later, okay?" He asked me and I kissed him on the lips, just a peck, before he slept like a log in no time at all. My man must be so tired that he just drifted off immediately. I drove slowly, and was glad that the road was not so congested. Not many people going this way, I guess. My parents lived in a smaller town, and the population there was pretty small. I actually thought of it as a village, not a town by any standard. Dad would argue with me if I ever told him that it was a village, not a town. He was a "supporter!" After more than one and a half hours, we reached "Home Sweet Home" and I mean this literally. My parents had put up that sign ever since I was born, and I was teased by my high school friends. My parents were Big, capital B, on PDA--public display of affection. They kissed anywhere: in the house, in the garden where everyone could see them so clearly, etc. They were still holding hands in public and hugged each other, or anybody for that matter. Anyway, Ted and I arrived, and I could see mum rushing out from the house, with dad walking slowly behind her. "Ted, sweetheart, we are home. Wake up, honey!" He opened his eyes slowly and just then, mum ran towards the car. Ted and I alighted from the car just as mum arrived breathlessly. "Hi, J. And this sexy stud has to be Ted, my son's new roommate, am I right?" Mum sure didn't waste any time, as usual. She always liked to get straight to the point, and I was used to that. Ted, on the other hand, was kind of surprise. No wonder! Mum was always very cheerful and full of , "overflowing with" would be more suitable actually, energy. "H...Hi, Mrs. McKnight. Pleased to meet you, madam," Ted was so anxious that he stuttered a bit. I looked at mum pleadingly, but she ignored me. "Hi, Ted! J had told me sooooo much about you the past few weeks I felt like I know you already." Before Ted was able to answer, dad came over to us and shook hands with Ted. "Hullo, Ted. Welcome. Glad that you can make it. Please do not mind my son. As usual, he did not think to invite you in advance, and I think that is so inconsiderate," dad stared at me, with the twinkle apparent in his eyes. "Well, Sir. Jeremy was too busy with work and other stuff. I don't believe that he had forgotten intentionally." "Look how kind Ted is, J. You are lucky that he stands by you," dad still had his eyes fixed on me, and I was feeling kind of silly right now. Sigh, my parents were not the most discreet people in this world! I knew they were doing this to tease me, but sometimes they just made me blush, like now for instance. "Uhhmm, mum, dad, I have something to announce." I grabbed Ted's hand and noticed the surprise on my parents' faces. "We're in love." "Ohh, that is such a nice surprise, J. Well, if J treats you with anything less than respect and love, Ted, you can always tell us. I will make sure that I tell him off," mum was so overjoyed that she had this really HUGE smile. Even dad looked sort of relief. I guess they were both worried about me after Anthony's death and now they had no reason to. Both gave Ted a hug each before mum told us that since we were a couple, she expected that we would be sleeping together. Ted and I blushed furiously at this. "Thanks, mum. I appreciate that. I apologize because I didn't tell you sooner and you have to prepare two bedrooms." I smiled sheepishly at her, but she just shrugged and assured that she was fine with it and was glad that Ted and I had found each other. "Thanks, madam." "No, Ted. You better call me mum too," mum told Ted, much to his surprise. "Don't be shocked, Ted. That was the same thing that happened to Anthony," I explained to Ted. We had talked about me and Anthony the night before, but I did not tell him about this. Anyway, Ted was to call my mum: mum and my dad: dad. I was just glad that they took a liking to him immediately. Mum and dad returned to the house as Ted and I got the luggages down from the car, into the house and straight on into the bedroom. "I love your parents, J. They are so nice and loving," Ted said to me when we were alone in the bedroom. I noted the change in the way he called me: from Jeremy to J. It caught on already apparently. "Thanks, Ted. So, when are your parents coming down? My other relatives are arriving tomorrow." "Tomorrow morning. They told me that they will take a cab from the airport. I am glad that they could still get tickets this late." "Sorry, love, I should have been more thoughtful," I said apologetically. "No, it's okay, J. They are glad about us, you know? By the way, you didn't tell your parents about us before today? Gosh, I was surprised! Not to mention the mum-and-dad thing." "Well, they have always been this way with Anthony. I hope you don't mind." "I am sooooo excited that they like me immediately, and I am more than happy to call them mum and dad. Feels like we are married, honey." I blushed again at his words. Sigh, love was strange!!! After hanging up some clothes in the closet, I grabbed Ted's face and gave him a passionate kiss before we walked towards the "family" room, which was the living room. My parents had a name for every room. The bedroom was called the "up-and-down" room, for obvious reason, the dining room was "bulging belly" room, though I wouldn't want that for at least 35 years to come, when I would be 58 years old and Ted would be 60 then. Of course, it would be difficult to keep up the body that we had right at this moment, but I was sure that having a protruding stomach at this point would be kind of scary; hehehe! The other rooms had their share of nicknames, just too troublesome to list them all here. "So, you guys finished with the packing? Hmm, I thought I heard some slobbering in the room," mum asked us, Ted and me, so nonchalantly that we just blushed, not knowing how to answer her. My parents should learn to be more conscious of this privacy stuff. We had just arrived for not more than one hour, and we had blushed and stuttered. "Well...yes, we had finished hanging up the clothes. For your information, yes, we were kissing, a really mind-blowing kiss. Anyway, we would put the gifts under the tree later," I answered, trying to act cool, but I could feel my cheeks and ears burning red. Ted was in no better condition than me from the color of his ears and his eyes had a sudden fascination upon the floor. "So, I win. Look, old man. I told you that those wet and panting sounds were T and J kissing. I hope you don't mind me calling you T, Ted," mum had never changed her habit of talking to one person first, then shifting the attention to another in a matter of seconds. In this case, it went from dad to Ted. "Ahh, it...it is fine, ma...I mean, mum," Ted was stuttering again. My loverboy was feeling really shy today, I guess. "Uhmm, dad, mum, I thought we are gonna have some lunch. You guys seem to be more interested in other things," I said accusingly. This tactic was the best to get mum going on her feet, and it was no different this time round. "Oh, yes! I am going to get the food out now. They are all in the kitchen. Come help me, J." "I will help you, mum," Ted said. I guess when you had Ted and me calling my parents mum and dad, it would be really confusing, but that was the way my family was, folks. The three of us carried the food out and put them on the dining table. Dad was busy being the "king," as usual. He would not budge from the table because he was "the man in the family." Wait till grandma Bess was here, then he would have to help out, just like the rest of us. Grandma stood for no nonsense and everybody respected her. Not only was she the oldest in the family, she was sharp and wise, so nobody dared to mess around with her. In addition, she could really corner you if she wanted to. Sigh, if grandma were here right now, my lover and I would not have to endure my parents' "attack." Not that it was insulting, but my parents did the joke so matter-of-factly that Ted and I could only blush. Ted was one step ahead of me with his stuttering, one fact I did not really notice till we came here. I guess my man had another weakness that I never knew about. Lunch was a pretty happy time, except for the few times when mum and dad asked Ted some embarrassing questions like my kissing skill or whether we had made love before. Imagined Ted's ears! I had to stop myself from laughing though. Ted had always been the champion when he teased me, but seeing his expression during the "interrogation," I knew that he was unsure of what to say, just the way I would react each time we held our "teasing game." Served you right, loverboy! Now you knew how I felt; hehehe!!!!! After lunch, we had a casual chat and Ted and I offered to wash the dishes afterwards. So, mum and dad went back to the "up-and-down" room for an afternoon nap. I did the washing and Ted dried them before putting them back in the small cabinet. Mum had always been a neat freak. Sorry, mum, but you are, really! "So, how do you like my parents after that "drill" lunchtime?" I smiled at him as we walked towards our bedroom. I wouldn't call it "up-and-down" room for the obvious reason that Ted and I did not do the full intercourse, yet. We had talked it over the night before the trip and we planned to get to know each other on a deeper level. "Hmm, really nice, but I...well, I could not believe my ears when they asked me about your bed skill. I was almost speechless. Your parents are truly "open," you know," Ted grinned a sexy smile at me. Sigh, I could live forever just looking at that grin! "So, I guess we have to test your lovemaking skill more often, babe." "Haha, you wish, stud. Well, make me happy and we shall see," I laughed at his eagerness. Man, was he serious? "I can't help it. You are just so "delicious" and I just want to make love to you forever." "Well, look at it rationally, T. I want you so badly too, but we had talked it over last night, remember?" "Yeah, I know, but one look at you make me want to forget all that." He had a pleading look that just made him so much more delectable and my heart just melted. "Be patient, babe. We will make love, eventually," I smiled at him as we entered the bedroom for another refreshing nap. I laid down beside Ted and he embraced me so tightly like he would never let me go. I felt so safe and warm that I just drifted off to sleep almost immediately. Hi, readers. Thanks so much for the continuing support. Some readers told me that my previous chapter was lacking in deeper emotions. To set the record straight, I need to explain that as the story progresses, I am putting more and more of "me" in it. You will know me better that way; hehehe! Well, as usual, comments and encouragements are welcome. Thanks for reading!
