Together Forever

Previous Chapter

"I enjoy yours as well, Cory," I said. "But, I need for you to understand I left New York to get away from some very painful memories of my last relationship. I'm not jumping into the fire of building a new relationship until I'm able to contribute to the relationship."

"I'm not forcing you into a relationship, Connor," Cory said. "I know you had a bad experience with your ex-boyfriend. I'm not trying to push my way into your life, Connor. I'm hoping to be your friend. If something were to happen after several months, I'll look at it as a side benefit of being your friend. On the other hand, I won't be crushed if it doesn't develop into something bigger. I like you as a person, Connor. I always have since the day I met you. You're not some high-priced whore to me, Connor. You're a very good and interesting man... And you're sexy as hell."

"Thank you, Cory," I replied. "I'll be very blunt here, Cory. What do you want from me? Sex? Relationship? Friendship? Some toy at your side to help your image?"

"I would be happy with friendship and sex," Cory replied. "I'd be happier with a relationship. But, I know you're not relationship-oriented at the moment. So, to be blunt, how about friendship with sex as an added benefit?"

"I need to think about this, Cory," I said as I stood to leave.

"Connor, please don't leave just yet," Cory said as he moved in front of me. "I'd be very disappointed if I didn't at least get a kiss."

"I don't think a kiss right now is a good idea, Cory," I said.

"It'll be just a kiss, Connor," Cory said in a soothing voice.

"Yea," I replied. "Just a kiss. But you know what just one kiss leads to with us."

"Would it be a bad thing if the kiss led to something else tonight, Connor?" Cory asked.

"No, but I have things..."

Cory touched my arms. I started melting into him. `Just one kiss,' I said to myself.

Chapter 03: Moving On

My eyes fluttered open. It took me a moment to get my bearings. My head rested on another man's chest. I heard his heart beat.

"Did you rest well, sleepy man?" I heard Cory ask.

I didn't move. "Yes," I whispered. "Very well."

I began to shuffle awake.

"You don't need to move, Connor," Cory said softly. "I like waking up with you. You've never stayed the night with me before. I hope it won't be the last time you do."

"You make me feel safe," I said as I lifted my head to see Cory smiling down at me. "Something I'm not used to when I sleep."

"Last night, for the first time, I made love to you instead of fucking you," Cory added in a quiet voice. "Did you feel it too?"

"Yes," I replied not wanting to go further. I needed to kiss him. "We were different last night."

I put my head down on his chest again. I put my free arm around his chest and pulled myself closer to him. I also brought my free leg over his stomach. His hard dick rubbed against my thigh. Mine felt good squeezed against Cory's hard body.

"I hope you don't need to run off this morning," Cory whispered.

"I'm in the theater business," I whispered back as I lifted my head to look Cory in the eyes. "We don't run our lives on a nine to five schedule."

"I want more of you, Connor," Cory said as he slid down even with me.

Our eyes met. His lips brushed mine. My dick twitched, throbbing.

"Take what you want," I hissed as Cory's tongue found its way in my mouth.

As we kissed, my mind faded into the man who held me. Cory and me. Nothing else mattered. No care in the world. No worries about the future.

Cory rolled on top of me. His body weight felt so refreshing and stabilizing. He kept kissing me as I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his back. I tried to pull him closer. I tried to pull him into me.

"You want this don't you?" Cory whispered between kisses.

"Yes," I whispered back. "I've never wanted anything more than I want you in me right now."

His kisses became more passionate. I responded with the same passion.

"Now," I finally pleaded. "Take me now!"

Cory lifted his body up by his arms and leaned back.

"Beautiful," I hissed as I surveyed Cory's muscular, smooth body and his perfect nine-inch uncut dick.

He grabbed a condom and a tube of lube from the side of the bed.

His eyes met mine as he leaned in and pressed his hard cock against my asshole.

"Ooooooooo," I moaned as he slowly inched his dick into me.

I felt his trimmed pubic hairs caress my balls.

"So good," I hissed as our eyes caught. His pulled me into him.

Slowly, silently he began to massage the inside of me. Our eyes never looked away. It's like I could see into him, and he into me.

Cory continued to gently move in and out of me. Slowly. Surely. Confidently. In and out.

"Yes, Cory!" I bellowed. "Give it to me."

I felt Cory's eyes burning holes through mine as he pumped into me in one hard, swift motion. His exit slowly sent shivers through my body. His pace quickened. I felt his body tense. His eyes intensified in their brilliance.

Cory howled as I felt his dick explode inside me. His come filled the condom. He lowered his body on top of mine. I held him tight and close. We stayed together in silence.

~~~~~
I arrived at work on Saturday morning at noon. I went home after Cory and I had breakfast in his suite. We showered together earlier, so I only needed to slip into some clean clothes.
"You look refreshed today, Connor," Tina said to me as we passed in the hallway leading to my office.
"I am, thank you, Tina," I replied.
"Does this mean you finally got laid?" Tina asked with a smirk of a grin.
"None of your business, Tina," I said as I stepped into my office.
My phone rang.
"This is Connor," I said into the phone.
"Connor! This is Taylor Gordon," I heard his energetic voice on the other end of the phone connection. "I just finished a round of golf with my partner at GW Venture Capital. I have some news for you about some funding for the Center. Do you have time on Monday afternoon to meet with me in our offices?"
"Of course," I replied. "What time?"
"Would 2 pm work?" Taylor explained. "The meeting shouldn't take longer than an hour."
"I'll see you Monday at 2 pm," I said.
"Great," Taylor responded. "Have a terrific weekend!"
"You, too," I said as we ended the call.
"Yee haw!" I bellowed in my best Texas accent. I suddenly had five people standing in my office.
"What's up, boss?" Tina asked.
"I'm not certain what this means," I began. "But Taylor Gordon just called me to set up an appointment on Monday to discuss funding for the center!"
"Wow!" Clyde responded. "Will the Center finally have money to work its magic?"
"Clyde, Leo," I began. "Do you have a suit?"
"No," Clyde replied. "Blazer, but no suit."
"Same," Leo replied. "I have one at home, but not here."
"Blazers will do," I explained. "You two will accompany me to the 2 pm meeting on Monday. We'll have a briefing on Monday morning to discuss our approach."
"Why us?" Leo asked.
"Eye candy?" I said with a smile.
"You'll need to do better than eye candy, Connor," Clyde said with a smile. "Do we need to flirt?"
"We'll see," I replied.
"Is he cute?" Leo asked.
"Yes," I replied. "All of you have duties to complete. Go complete them."
Once the crowd cleared out of my office, I called Noel.
"Hey, cuz!" Noel said as he answered the phone.
"Dude, I have news!" I said.
"What kind of news?" Noel asked.
"Taylor Gordon called this morning!" I began. "We have a meeting on Monday afternoon to discuss his thoughts about funding the Center."
"Outstanding!" Noel exclaimed. "We need to celebrate. Why don't you come to our house tomorrow afternoon for a small celebration?"
"I'd love to," I replied. "Noel... may I bring someone with me?"
"Of course," Noel replied. "I'm not asking whether he is a boyfriend, a trick, or just a friend. Tell me when you're ready."
"Thanks, Noel," I replied.
"It will be a small celebration," Noel replied. "But, it will be fun."
"I'm looking forward to seeing you, John, and Egan," I replied.
"Speaking of which, I need to get Egan out of the dirt and into the bathtub. We're going on a shopping mission. Eagan has outgrown everything we bought him a month ago," Noel added. "What does mystery guest drink?"
"Anything," I replied.
"Don't worry, I'm not inviting Bobby," Noel added. "John said he's out of town. Something about a family problem in West Virginia."
"He said he didn't talk to his family there," I said.
"He couldn't ignore this, apparently," Noel replied. "See you tomorrow, cuz!"
I hung up the phone and wondered if I should call Bobby. Not now. Instead, I picked up the phone and called Cory.
"Hello, Connor," Cory said when he picked up his phone.
"Hello," I began. "I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed myself last night and this morning."
"It was terrific, wasn't it?" Cory said. I could tell he had a big smile on his face.
"Yeah," I replied. "I also want to tell you I have a meeting with Taylor Gordon on Monday afternoon to discuss his funding proposal."
"Congratulations!" Cory replied. "Let's celebrate this evening! Where would you like to have dinner? My treat."
"You pick," I replied. "I'll be happy anywhere?"
"Will you stay the night again?" Cory asked.
"I might," I replied. "I need an incentive, though."
"Then maybe we should have room service deliver dinner," Cory said. Sex dripped from his words.
"Your choice," I replied. "My cousin Noel is having a few people at his house to celebrate my good fortune tomorrow. Would you go with me?"
"You sure?" Cory asked.
"Yes," I replied. "I'm definitely sure."
"Can you be at my suite in the Fairmont by seven tonight?" Cory asked.
"Yes," I replied.
"Good," Cory added. "You make me horny just talking to you."
"Mmmmmmm!" I moaned. My dick suddenly began to stiffen. "I'll be at your suite at seven."
"I'm looking forward to seeing you again, Connor," Cory said. "I had forgotten how habit forming you can be."
"I need to end this call so I can manage to leave my desk," I replied. "Bye."
"Bye, Connor," Cory replied as he hung up the phone.
`What in God's name have I done?' I thought to myself.
I had always thought of Cory as a paying customer. Now, for some reason, I'm thinking of him as something more. I didn't know what the `more' was at this point, but he no longer lived in my mind as a client.
I cleaned up a small pile on my desk and decided to run home to shower and change. Before I went into the shower, I pulled out some clothes. What do I wear?
I picked out my tightest skinny jeans which happen to be black. I grabbed a white button down. Brown shoes and a brown belt. I pulled open my underwear drawer, but decided to close it. Why waste time pulling off another article of clothing?
As I stepped into the shower, I suddenly wished Cory were here to shower with me. I had to turn the water to cold so my dick would go down.
I stood in front of a full-length mirror as I began dressing. The jeans seemed harder than usual to pull on. I tucked in my shirt. Slipped on shoes and sox. Grabbed a jacket and headed out the door.
I felt my dick harden as I knocked on the door of Cory's suite.
"Hey, sexy man!" Cory said as he opened the door and pulled me inside. He put his arms around me and pulled me into a kiss.
"Oooooooooo!" I moaned. His kisses took my breath away.
"We'd better go downstairs to dinner before we get carried away," Cory suggested. "We wouldn't want to miss dinner."
"Wanna bet?" I asked.
He turned me toward the door, slapped his hand across my butt before he opened the door.
We rode the elevator down in silence. Eye to eye. The door opened at he put his hand on the small of my back and guided me toward the restaurant.
Cory caught the attention of the maître d'.
"Right this way Mr. Wainwright," the maître d' enthused. "I have the table you like in the corner, Sir."
We followed the maître d' to a table tucked into a nice, softly lit corner of the dining room.
"Thank you, Robert," Cory said to the maître d' once we were seated. "Please tell Fletcher we'll have our regulars, please."
"Yes, Sir," Robert said as he retreated to the bar to give Fletcher our order.
"I didn't know we had regulars already," I said with a smile.
"I asked Fletcher before you arrived," Cory said.
"I see," I replied. "How did your afternoon go?"
"I went to my new home and looked around to make certain everything is ready for Monday's big move," Cory replied. "I didn't realize it is so close to your apartment."
"How close?" I asked.
"Two blocks," Cory replied. "But don't worry, Connor. I won't be dropping by every day to borrow a cup of flour."
Fletcher arrived with the drinks. Vodka on the rocks with three olives.
"Here you are, gentlemen," Fletcher said as he set the drinks down. "I brought them over personally so I could say hello to the both of you. And thank you again for your hospitality, Mr. Rodriquez. I enjoyed our visit."
"So did I, Fletcher," I replied. "Did you contact the voice coach I suggested?"
"I did," Fletcher replied. "I even met with him. He wants to take me on, but I told him I needed to save a little money before seeing him on a regular basis. We hit it off. I'm hoping to raise the cash soon."
"Good luck, Fletcher," Cory added as Fletcher turned to leave.
"Thank you, Mr. Wainwright," Fletcher said before scurrying to the bar.
"He's such a nice young man," Cory said to me. "What type of voice coach did you suggest?"
"He helps actors learn to sing better," I explained. "Creating a singing style of your own helps to control your voice—even if you aren't singing."
"This guy is good?" Cory asked.
"The best in country," I replied. "He was my voice coach in New York when I started out in the theater. He moved to Boston to be closer to his family. He still has a few New York clients."
"He must be expensive," Cory said.
"Five hundred dollars a session," I responded. "I wouldn't have been given the role I played in the musical if it weren't for him. He's expensive, but he's worth it if you're a serious actor."
"Do you have scholarships the Center disseminates for budding actors?" Cory asked.
"Not anymore," I explained. "The scholarship donations weren't large enough to be sustainable. So, when the money ran out, the scholarship ran out. Why?"
"Scholarships from the Center could be beneficial for people, like Fletcher, who need further training but are unable to pay for it. And, if he doesn't take the lessons, he won't get ahead in theater. Am I correct?"
I smiled broadly. "You're not planning on a side business for Fletcher like the one I had, are you?" I asked.
"No," Cory replied—also with a smile on his face. "It worked for you because I didn't know anyone connected to a Center like the one you run. And you wouldn't just take the money. Why do you think I suggested your side business?"
"You wanted my body," I replied.
"Well, yes," Cory added. "And what a wonderful body it is!"
"Back to the scholarships," I suggested. "If you're not planning on opening another call boy business, what are you suggesting?"
"A scholarship fund which would be sustainable," Cory explained. "The endowment would need to be invested wisely and aggressively."
The waiter, Robert, arrived to take our order. He disappeared after we gave him our orders, and we continued our discussion.
"Are you certain it wouldn't just be easier to start another call boy business?" I asked.
"A call boy business would probably be easier to run than an endowment," Cory said with a smile.
"Fletcher certainly has the body for it," I suggested.
"Yes," Cory replied. "He does. However, I would not be one of his clients."
"Why?" I asked.
"I prefer your body," Cory added. "Especially when your body is naked and in bed with me."
"We need to change the subject," I suggested.
"Are you getting uncomfortable?" Cory asked.
"I don't want my jeans to rip," I replied.
"Are you afraid of showing your underwear to the patrons of this fine establishment?" Cory asked. He still smiled as though he were a Cheshire cat.
"I don't have any on," I responded.
Cory's smile got bigger.
"What?" I asked.
"The thought of you sitting there without any underwear makes me want to get creative," Cory replied.
"Me, too," the waiter said as he delivered our salads. He seemed to be leering at me.
"I have a question to ask you, Robert," Cory began.
"Sure," Robert replied.
"Whose body do you like better?" Cory asked. "My boyfriend Connor or Fletcher, the bartender?"
"I would need to see them both naked to make a definitive decision," Robert began as he looked across the room to the bar and then back to me. "Your boyfriend's body would be my preference. I would not throw either one out of my bed."
"Thank you, Robert," Cory replied as Robert made his exit.
"If you, Cory, embarrass me one more time, you'll never see by body naked again," I said as I looked Cory in the eyes.
I couldn't tell him my dick was completely hard inside my jeans.
We continued our conversation. It became lighter. We laughed a lot. Something I hadn't done over dinner in a long time.
Cory signed the check, left a huge cash tip, and suggested we leave.
Cory pulled me inside his suite once the door opened. He pulled me toward him and pressed his lips against mine. I surrendered.
"You look good," Cory said as he came up for air. "You feel good. You smell good."
He put his hand over my crotch as my dick hardened. He started kissing me again.
"You gotta fuck me, Cory," I hissed. "Need it bad!"
Cory led me to the bedroom and slipped off my shirt. I kicked off my shoes as he reached for the button on my jeans.
"I like you with these jeans on, Connor," Cory hissed. "But I'll like you better naked!"
I helped him pull my jeans off.
~~~~~

We stepped out of the Fairmont and into Cory's waiting Mercedes.

"Nice car," I said as I settled into the leather seat.

"It's a mode of transportation," Cory replied as he punched in Noel and John's address. "Isn't Brattle a relatively upscale location?"

"Yup," I replied. I didn't say anything else about John and Noel's house. "How would you like me to introduce you?"

"What are my options?" Cory asked as we pulled away from the curb.

"My friend?" I began. "My boyfriend? My trick? My client?"

"Boyfriend if you don't mind," Cory said with a smile.

"Boyfriend it is then," I replied. "You'll love Noel and John. And their son Eagan, too. He's four. Of course, there will be three dogs. Border Collies. Tucker, Toby, and Tiger."

We traveled across the Mass Ave bridge into Cambridge. The GPS took us along Mass Ave until we reached Harvard Square.

"I haven't been here since I graduated," Cory finally said.

"You went to Harvard?" I asked.

"Yup," Cory replied. "As did four generations of Wainwrights."

"Here we are," I said as we pulled into the driveway.

"Nice house," Cory said as he surveyed the house.

"So, boyfriend, are you ready to meet my family?" I asked.

Cory suddenly looked terrified.

"No," he replied. "But I'll adjust."

I took his hand in mine as we walked to the front door. I didn't have an opportunity to ring the bell. The door opened and Noel stood inside.

"Welcome," Noel said as we stepped into the entryway.

"Noel," I began as John joined us. "This is my boyfriend, Cory Wainwright. Cory, these are my cousins Noel and John Ramirez-Sanchez."

Without losing his smile, Noel stole a glance at me.

"It's nice to meet you, Cory," Noel said as he grabbed Cory's hand. "Welcome to our home."

"Yes, welcome," John repeated as he, too, shook Cory's hand.

"Uncle Con! Uncle Con!" Eagan yelled as he and three dogs raced to the entry hall. All four slid to a stop. "Who's he?"

"This is my boyfriend, Cory," I said to Eagan as I picked him up. "Cory, this bundle of energy is Eagan. The dogs, left to right, Tucker, Toby, and Tiger."

"Since Con is my uncle, are you my uncle, too?" Eagan asked Cory.

"If you'd like me to be your uncle, sure," Cory replied. Cory looked a little uncomfortable.

"Let's get more comfortable," Noel suggested as he led us into the living room. "The others should arrive shortly. Drinks?"

"I'm the designated driver," Cory replied. "Water will be delightful."

"Conner?" Noel asked.

"Water for me, too," I replied as Noel's left eyebrow raise.

While John and Noel disappeared to retrieve drinks and appetizers, Cory and I moved in front of the French doors which led to the back deck and pool area.

"So, Eagan," Cory began. "Do you enjoy playing in the pool?"

"Yup," he responded. "I tried to get the doggies to go swimming with me, but Tiger was the only one who would get in the water. Daddy said I shouldn't let the dogs swim with me because Tiger's hair clogged the filter."

"I can see how it might be a problem," Cory replied. He seemed to struggle to find another topic to cover with Eagan.

Eagan slid down to the floor and took off with dogs following close behind.

"He certainly has a lot of energy," Cory said as we both watched Eagan disappear up the stairs.

"Which is only a problem when he's doing something he shouldn't be doing," Noel added as he and John returned to the room with a tray full of appetizers and two bottles of water.

"Where did you and Connor meet, Cory?" Noel asked as we settled in the living room.

"In New York's Central Park," Cory replied. "I took a break from roller blading and sat next to Connor. We started talking, and our friendship ensued from there."

"What brings you to Boston?" John asked.

"One of my family's businesses needed some attention," Cory explained. "The family elected me."

"What business?" John asked.

"Wainwright Investments," Cory replied. Noel almost spit out the water he just swigged.

"Something wrong, Noel?" I asked.

"No," Noel replied. "Nothing wrong. I've badgered Wainwright Investments for six months trying to get an appointment with the marketing director."

"Give me a week to get organized, and you can expect a call from our marketing director," Cory suggested. "Tomorrow I move into my condo I bought. I show up for work on Tuesday."

"Terrific!" Noel exclaimed as the door opened. In came Anthony and Timothy as well as Jorge and George.

"Have you tried ringing the doorbell?" John asked.

"Doorbells are for plebeians," Anthony replied as he spots Cory. "Hi. I'm Anthony, John's better-looking twin. This is my husband Timothy."

"I'm Cory," Cory replied.

"Jorge," Jorge said.

"George," George added. "Nice to meet you!"

"You, too," Cory replied.

"You don't waste any time, do you, Connor?" Jorge asked.

"We knew each other in New York," I replied. "Cory just moved to Boston."

"Welcome to The Hub," Jorge added. "Did you know Connor intimately or just as the actor who almost won a Tony?"

"We met in Central Park in Connor's college days," Cory responded.

"And?" Jorge continues.

"Enough already, Jorge," I said. "You've just met him, and you're doing twenty questions.

"Sorry," Jorge said. "He's your boyfriend, right, Connor?"

"Yes," I added hoping to end the discussion.

"What does Wainwright Investments do besides investing?" George asked.

"We're predominately a wealth management operation," Cory explained. "My grandfather, Cory Wainwright the first, started the business shortly after he ended a stint as a stock broker in New York."

"Do you have a financial background?" Anthony asked.

"No," Cory explained. "On the contrary, I majored in American Literature. I have an MFA from Iowa."

"You're creative then?" Jorge asked. "Is your creative bents the reason you two hit it off?"

"No," I replied. "He wanted my body. I wanted him to have it. Simple solution, don't you think?"

"It works for me," Cory replied.

~~~~~
After meeting with Taylor Gordon, I almost ran back to the Center with Leo and Clyde in tow.
"We did it!" I shouted to anyone who could hear me as we walked into our office suite.
"How much?" Aaron asked as about 15 people gather in our cramped space.
"Taylor Gordon, the managing partner of GW Venture Capital, has pledged five-hundred-thousand-dollars each year for the next ten years," I blurt out in one quick soundbite.
"You've got to be shitting us!" Tina added.
"Who's spending all of this money?" Aaron asked.
"We'll need to hire a finance person," I replied. "Money is allotted for Capital Improvement, Production, Overhead, and Marketing. The Board of Directors will budget specific amounts for each category."
"Does this mean we can finally get a decent sound system and lighting array?" George, our resident sound and lighting guy, asked.
"The board will decide," I further explained. "I do want suggestions from the staff. George, recommend options for both the sound system and the lighting system. High end cost, mid-range cost, low end cost."
I continued to assign projects to staff members for various ideas.
By five pm, I had organized our very excited staff. I sat behind my meager desk and pulled out my phone.
"Hello, Connor," Cory said. "How did the meeting go?"
"I'm still not sure if it is a dream or if it is real, but I believe it is real," I began. "Taylor Gordon has a contract for the board of directors to approve. They will donate five-hundred-thousand dollars to the Center each year for ten years."
"Congratulations, Connor," Cory replied. "I am very proud of you! Do you want to celebrate tonight or later when you have the money in your hands?"
"Both?" I asked.
"If you stay the night with me again," Cory replied.
"Yes," I replied. "When? Where?"
"My suite," Cory replied. "7:30?"
"Perfect," I replied.
~~~~~

"This place is absolutely awesome, Cory," I exclaimed as I first entered Cory's new condo. "And the view! Wow! Of course, it doesn't hurt to have a corner penthouse!"

"No," Cory said with a smile. "It was in this building or the one in Millennial Towers. I chose this one because of the neighborhood. Where would you like to go to celebrate?"

"I've never been to Back Bay Harry's," I replied.

"Back Bay Harry's it is!" Cory said as he grabbed his keys.

On our walk to the restaurant, Cory asked about the center, "Where will you be using the money from your benefactor? Capital improvements? Production? Marketing?"

"The grant money has been targeted to all three," I replied. "They suggested a three way split for the first year. However, the board has final decision making power."

"I'm certain you will find many good uses for the grant money," Cory said. "We talked about the scholarship grant for needy aspiring actors. How many sessions would Fletcher, for example, need with the vocal coach?"

"I went for ten sessions," I replied. "Some will need fewer. Some will need more."

"What other resources will someone like Fletcher need to break into the theater?" Cory asked.

"I lucked out," I began. "The theater awarded me a paid intern gig. I learned a lot about areas of the theater I knew nothing about. I would never have landed the musical gig."

"The won with the Tony?" Cory asked.

"Yup," I replied.

"How much were you paid for the internship if you don't mind me asking?" Cory asked.

"Three thousand a month," I replied. "And I was able to work as an intern because I had a side business. You know the one I'm talking about."

"The one utilizing the many talents of your body?" Cory asked.

"Yup," I replied as we arrived at the restaurant.

Once we settled into our seats, I continued our discussion. "Why are you interested in the scholarship and internship?"

"I have investigated what it would take to fund a program which is sustainable over the years," Cory began. "If Wainwright was to supply a 10 million dollar investment, the center would have about 500 thousand dollars a year to fund educational opportunities or internships."

"You could actually do this?" I asked.

"Yes," Cory replied. "If I couldn't, I wouldn't have discussed this."

"You really would do this?" I asked again.

"Yep," Cory replied. "I will open an investment account by the end of the week. We have one investment manager who manages trusts for this kind of thing. He's very good at what he does. His accounts usually beat most of the others in terms of dividends for scholarship trusts."

"Thank you for your generosity, Cory," I began. "I need to ask you a question."

"I think I know what your question will be, but go ahead and ask it," Cory said with a smile.

"What happens if you and I don't make it to the relationship stage?" I asked. "Will the center be left without a scholarship fund?"

"No," Cory replied. "Once this fund opens, it will be available for the center until the end of time. I can't change it. It is not a bribe to get you into my bed. I care for you too much to take the scholarship fund away from the center. I can't take it away. It's the law."

"And you and your family won't miss 10 million dollars?" I asked.

"No," Cory replied. He studied my face for a reaction.

"Your family's money does complicate my position," I explained. "I can't compete with you."

"Connor," Cory began. "I don't want you to compete with me. If we do go forward with a relationship, what's mine will also be yours. You will be an equal partner to me. I don't like competition between friends, lovers, partners, or husbands. Understand?"

"Yes," I began. "But will other people?"

"We don't care what other people think," Cory said emphatically. "The people around us will know. They will see you aren't after me for my money. Besides, the 10 million dollars comes from the Wainwright Family Foundation."

"Thank you, Cory," I said with a smile. "I'll show you how much I appreciate your generosity when we go to bed tonight."

"If we wouldn't get arrested, I'd get you naked and stretched across this table," Cory said with a lust filled grin.

"I'd love to watch," Carlisle said as he brought our orders to the table. "You're both pretty hot! Oh! Here is yours, Mr. Wainwright. This one is yours, Mr. Rodriguez. If you need anything else, please just flag me down. Enjoy!"

"I'll need to be more discrete from now on," Cory said with a smile forming across his face.

"Maybe," I replied. "
