It is pure fantasy with no effort at safe sexual practices. Some might recognize that I am interested in older men, often bearded and hairy. If you like beach bunnies, this is not the story for you. If you are underage, or uninterested in openly homosexual content, do NOT read this story. The next week was enjoyable and productive. After the drama and excitement of the previous weeks ten days of plain old hard work was relaxing. Ellis was hard at work on deciphering the glyphs. Roberto had joined Albert in New York and they went to see National Geographic. John and Carlo got most of the hieroglyph wall rebuilt. Sean and his crew completed cleaning off the pavement above the underground initiation chamber. Pedro provided additional labor for this work. Roberto arranged to have Pedro permanently attached to the excavation. After the abduction the Commandante, Roberto and Julio decided to tighten the security on the site. Julio was to provide security in a ring five miles from the site. Pedro patrolled the site itself, and his people also were the early warning system. Pedro and Julio were getting along well. No one said anything, but I guessed that the total and complete disappearance of the bandits was a joint effort. Pedro was very useful in the decipherment process, since he understood what many of the wall printings and glyphs portrayed. It wasn't exactly the same as his ceremony, but there were more similarities that you would have thought given the 700-year time lapse. Juan and I got most of the preliminary drawings done and looking presentable. I also began work on the design of a temporary hotel to handle the future visitors to the site. This was to be a tent city. Roberto's guest house would not be enough. I went to Mexico City and spoke with several local architects about helping me out. Of the first group of volunteers, Allen and Ronnie were now hired by Roberto as part of the staff. Ari, Gil and John were working full time. Gilbert, Billy and the twins had returned to the United States. A new group of students arrived in May. They were the summer vaction crowd from college, and several older men doing a working vaction. There were women in this group, and a woman's camp was placed nearer the safety of Roberto's hacienda. The adults joined us in another tent. The Casa Grande was beginning to look like a village. It now formed two courtyards with the showers in the middle. These volunteers were going to be here for a month, an unusually long time. The students were taken under Allen's and Ronnie's wings with Gil providing overall supervision. They were mostly from north eastern schools. I guessed most had never been without air conditioning. Most had never done physical labor. The older guys were a mixed bag from Richmond, Virginia. The leader was an architect, Max MacAfee, and his field superintendent Bill. They were accompanied by another set of twins. It seemed were common laborers named Clyde and Wilbur and a prison guard named Catfish. They were 100% red necks. I had no idea why they were here or what they could do. After three minutes of conversation you knew that Max and Bill would be an asset. Max had a large firm in Richmond, and this was his first time away from his office in years. After two days we were working as partners. Bill was a former construction superintendent and he got along well John and was able to do just about anything you asked of him. If the four of us had linked up earlier in our careers, it would have been spectacular. I never misjudged anyone as badly as the red neck contingent. I thought they would be useless. They could move more dirt more carefully than any guys I had ever seen. They had accents you could spread on bread, but they were interested in the work and good at it. "You know, Bob." Clyde said to me. "Archaeological digging is just like any other digging, when you know there's a buried gas line near by. It pays to be careful." All the Richmond guys seemed to be used to the heat and humidity. There was a little rivalry between the students and the red necks. To many of the students, Clyde, Wilbur and Catfish were more exotic than the Mayans. There were several complete duds in the group. Two students got sick and went home, three just gave up working. One kid was interested and willing but not strong enough to do much. That would have left us understaffed if it hadn't been for the Terrible Trio, Catfish, Clyde and Wilbur. They could do the work of a dozen men. The Terrible Trio was the name given to them by Allen. Pedro provided labor from his family. Pedro and Bill got along really well. Bill couldn't speak Spanish and of course didn't know a single word of Mayan, yet he never had any trouble being understood but the Indians. He led by example. He would demonstrate, and they would follow. Clyde discovered and then explained the drainage system of the underground chambers. "I've spent 25 years in the sewers of Richmond." He said. "These are a piece of cake!" He and Wilbur found out how it worked and cleaned out the blockages. They also located a paved causeway heading due north from the north entrance. With some careful surveying we located a cluster of extensive ruins at the end of the road about a half kilometer away. Sean decided it was time to open one of the three sealed compartments. He used Clyde and Wilbur to do the heavy work of removing the door. This was the human skull-covered door that was opposite the entrance. Gil marked the skulls as they were removed. We had a new photographer named Ringo recording the scene. Ringo was Mexican and told me his mother liked the Beatles a lot. He didn't have quite the flair that Randy and Reggie had, but he was good. They got through the seal by 11:00 and found a narrow corridor. It was painted red, but with no other decoration except swirls forming a frieze on the lower third of the wall. We were at the computer monitor following the progress on the video. The compartment floor was sloping down. Four meters later the slope became a stair. They encountered another sealed door at the bottom. This door was made of dressed stone. A triangular stone lintel supported the wall above. It was carved with a pair of jaguars facing the bear god in the middle. The minute I saw it I recognized it as the same composition as over the entrance to Mycenae. Carlo was watching with me. "That is unbelievable!" he said. "It looks like we are in Greece!" The area on each side of the gate was completely covered in hieroglyphs. Ellis raced into the chamber to inspect them. The team emerged from the area shortly thereafter. "It's a thick wall." Wilbur said. "It will take a while to remove." "We need to get Roberto and Albert here again." Sean said. "The guys think it will be a good day's work to open the next seal." Ellis came out very excited. "Greek! It's Linear B!" he yelled. "A panel in the inscription is in Linear B." It took me a minute to realize what he was saying and what it meant. Linear B was the alphabet used by the Minoan Greeks in the Bronze age. We had here the first conclusive evidence of cross fertilization of between the Mayan culture and the ancient Aegean civilization of Greece. The extent of the historical problems this would cause was unbelievable. There was a 1000 year time difference between classical Mayan civilization and Minoan Greek. This meant rewriting everything. It was now mid day and we stopped for lunch and a siesta. As a somewhat driven North American I hated the idea of a mid day rest period of work, but had to admit it worked. It was more productive to stop and relax during the heat of the ay than to struggle on with diminishing returns due to the oppressive heat. Carlo was talking with Max and me as we relaxed on our cots, when the terrible trio arrived. They had just showered and were looking shaggy but clean. I had never seen them naked before and had to admit they were fully equipped. Catfish was short and his cock was diss proportionately large. "I hope you'll excuse us, but what is Linear B?" Catfish asked. Carlo explained, with Ellis adding more detail. I filled them in on the bear god and about our thoughts on the initiation ceremony. I didn't tell them that we had participated in one several weeks before, since I didn't know if they could keep a secret. "The Greeks were into man sex, weren't they?" Clyde asked. "I don't know what their ceremonies were like, but men liked to help boys and boys liked to be helped." "Sex with women was a problem for the Greeks." Ellis said. "They were the only sure fire way to get an heir and exchange property from generation to generation. Childbirth was so dangerous that you didn't want any freelance fucking that might produce a pregnancy at the wrong time. Sex with men was safer." "And more fun!" Wilbur added. "If only it had been an Otter God!" Wilbur said. "We'd be in luck. Poor Clyde here had been a great believer in strength through cum eating for years." Clyde flexed his muscles. He was thin and wiry but all muscle. "Hey." He said, "It works for me." "I'd be willing to play a Donkey God!" Catfish said. "I've got enough cum for a whole tribe." Carlo laughed. "A small tribe?" he said, commenting on Catfish's diminutive size. Carlo immediately realized this might be taken the wrong way, there was a brief period of silence. Max laughed. "I'm afraid our friend here is half cock, the other half cum." Max said. "You forget." Catfish said in a good-natured way. "I have just enough brain to stay horny all the time." "We all have that!" Carlo said. He got up. He was half erect. "I love Mexican food." Catfish said. "So do I." Carlo said. "But American meat is the best." It was classic sophomoric innuendo, but it did the trick. Clyde began to suck me while Wilbur sucked Max. "What about me?" Ellis said. His cot was somewhat apart from ours. "I can do two!" Clyde said. He was right. His was a great cock sucker and had not trouble sucking me and Ellis at the same time. I couldn't have lasted more than two or three minutes before I shot off. I fell asleep as if someone had flicked a switch. When I woke up later, Catfish was slowly pumping Carlo's ass. Carlos was quietly whimpering. "Kind of pretty, isn't it?" Clyde said. He was on the cot next to me. "Pretty isn't exactly the word I would use." I said. "I don't mind watching." "I hope I didn't offend you. I'm a cum bucket, I hope you don't mind me sucking you off before we really were introduced." Clyde said. "I just love the stuff, and get carried away." "No problem for me." I said. "It won't replace the handshake in business situations, but it sure is relaxing. Do you think that Carlo will ever shoot? He looks happy." "Eventually. Have you ever been at a sexual plateau?" Clyde asked. "When you are turned on and hot and ready to shoot, but don't pop?" "No." I said. "Have you?" "A few times. It's great. That's where Catfish and Carlo are now." Clyde said. "Cock coasting, Wilbur calls it." "I've never done it." I said. "Well, Bob, we've got three weeks to work on it." Clyde said. "We give lessons." Carlo began to shake and quiver. There was sperm everywhere. Catfish pulled out of Carlo's ass and shot enough cum to fill a cream pie. I couldn't believe it was real. "My God!" Pedro said. I didn't know he was in the room. I looked at him and could read his mind. He stared at the display of man seed. "Sean wants you at the site." Pedro said. We all got dressed and went to the underground chambers. A second chamber seal had collapsed. The vibration from all of the work must have been enough to destabilize the plaster and bird skull construction. We had to assemble a crew to enter the space. It was very constricted compared to the other rooms so we needed small people, There was no way that Sean or any of the other big guys would fit. Catfish was an obvious pick as was one of the student volunteers, Willy, and a woman cameraman named Jane. Willy was barely five feet and weighed 115 pounds. Willy was a graduate student in archaeology. We found out he had a good eye and a lot of knowledge on Mayan art. Catfish would provide the labor, if it was needed. One of the young women volunteers, Jane, was a television cameraman on vaction. She was another five footer, but had no trouble with the bulky video equipment. We got to the monitor and watched as they entered the rooms. Catfish was in the front. He seemed to be fearless, years of being a prison guard seemed to make him impervious to surprise. Willy had a strong bass voice, and gave a good commentary on what they saw. Jane was steady. "The corridor is no more than 70 centimeters wide. All painted in ochre. There is a string of glyphs at the midpoint of the wall." Willy said. "I believe most of the glyphs are dates and numbers, interspersed with names." That was purely a guess on his part, a correct guess. Jane slowly panned the hieroglyphs. "We have found a recess containing a ceramic vase surmounted by a skull." Jane didn't shake for a second when the camera picked up the eyeless sockets of a skull. "That vase is magnificent!" Sean said. "Spectacular!" "There is another recess, with another vase and skull. This appears to be a catacomb. The skulls are small, either of women or children." Willy said. "Slow up!" Catfish said from the area in front of the camera. "We have some roots that have blocked the passage." He had tools with him and we soon heard sawing and as he cleared out the way. This took about fifteen minutes. "All clear!" Catfish yelled. They advanced again. "We've reached the central chamber. It's a miniature of the main chamber." Willy said. "There are sarcophagi on each side of the room. North south east and west. Miniatures too. They must be for infants. Grave goods everywhere. Ceramic and jade, no precious metals." The monitor showed beautiful painted pots and figurines. All were of the highest quality. "Jane. Pan around the room. The wall paintings are wonderful." Willy said. "We have the Bear God, the Jaguar God, the fire God, mourning women, and a Bull Headed figure. The Minotaur! The Minotaur is comforting the mourner." "Holy shit!" Ellis said. The plot thickened. The ties with ancient Greece were mounting. "This room is the end of the passage." Willy said. "We're going to complete the preliminary photographic survey then we're coming out." They reappeared fifteen minutes later. Jane and Willy immediately returned after they got a still camera. Catfish was the light man. They had a full afternoon. We left the site under Pedro's watchful control and returned to the Casa Grande. Ari had dinner ready. It was filling, tasty and cool. Ellis and Sean were almost out of control they were so excited. Ellis was talking non stop going over every possibility of interpretation. Bill the burley construction superintendent from Richmond sat next to me. "Is there any way to shut that guy up?" He asked. He whispered the question so it wasn't an effort to insult Ellis. It was just a question. I told him Ellis suggestion that you just think of him as a 24-hour radio station that was always playing in the background. Bill didn't seem satisfied. "Does he suck cock?" Bill asked. "Yes and he's good at it." I said. "I think I see a solution for our problem." Bill said. He was smiling.
