Classification: tt oral anal Simon's Story Part 12: Song Sung Blue All too soon it was Monday again and the usual routine of school started. Simon and Robert were sat on the raised flowerbeds round near the gym. "Did you see that poster on the main notice board. The one about the school play?" Simon asked Robert. "No. What did it say?" "They are looking for people to act in it. It sounds like fun. Besides we get some late starts when the show is on. Do you fancy trying out just for a laugh?" "Yea, why not. Who do we have to see?" Robert asked. "Let's go and find out." The boys raced off to check the notice. Both were fairly excited about the prospect of acting, but neither realised they would have to sing too! "Meet in the music room on Monday after school." Robert read out. School finished and they turned up with a handful of others. Things started off well with each of them having to act out a short scene so their acting ability could be assessed. Then came the crunch. They were all stood in a semi-circle around the piano and handed a book. Simon and Robert looked at each other nervously. The piano struck the first chord as the two boys took a deep breath. They were surprised at the results. All of the others were just as nervous and by the third or fourth verse they had all settled down a bit. They tried another two or three songs while the music teacher listened. "Robert. Can you sing this bit for me?" The teacher asked. "On my own sir?" Robert asked. "Sure, why not? You have a good voice there and with a little work it could be nearly perfect." Robert looked at Simon who was standing there grinning like a Cheshire cat. The music started along with Robert. He was a little shaky at first, but with Simon reassuring him it went well. Everyone clapped at the end of the song and Robert felt on top of the world. Everyone else in the group took a turn at singing solo and as they broke up they were told they would hear about the casting in a couple of days. They headed for home and almost all the way Robert was either singing or whistling. It seemed the audition had given his confidence a real boost. It was infectious too. Simon started joining in. By the time they got home, both boys were so happy they found themselves holding hands in public. Neither of them realised it until Robert's mum pointed it out. Homework was completed in double quick time that night as Simon and Robert had arranged to meet Alex in the small park. As they were about to leave, the phone rang. It was Alex. Simon tried to explain where the park was, but they ended up going round to meet Alex at his house. For some reason he wasn't keen on inviting them in though. They spent the evening walking around town showing Alex all the good hangouts and the places to avoid. As they got back to Alex's house, the front door opened and a smart looking man came out. He greeted Alex who then introduced his father. Both Simon and Robert were impressed, but Alex seemed a little nervous. "Si. Did Alex seem a little, well, strange to you?" Robert asked. "Yea. He did a bit. I wonder why?" "Dunno? May be it was because his dad was about?" Robert guessed. "Maybe." Simon paused as a thought crossed his mind. "You don't think he knows about us do you?" "Who cares if he does or not? He's gonna find out sooner or later." Robert said glibly. "I think it would be better if he heard it from us though?" Simon responded. "Yea. At least he would get the truth and not some half-baked drivel. We had better talk to him next time we see him." "I think that would be best." Simon and Robert continued on their way home, but at the end of Robert's street, Robert took Simon's hand. "Hey. What are you doing? Are you trying to get us back into trouble again?" Simon asked a little aggressively. "No. Why? What's up with you? Robert asked defensively. "You know we don't hold hands in public. It's asking for trouble `round here." "I'm sorry, it's just that after the audition this afternoon I'm so happy." "You're not going to start singing again are you?" Simon asked with a big grin. Robert was just about to open his mouth when Simon, after a quick glance around, silenced him with a big kiss. Robert went the colour of a ripe cherry. Simon collapsed in a heap on the ground laughing at his reaction. Robert just continued walking and wondering what had got into Simon. As Simon caught him up, Robert retaliated with a song. It was the one song that would reduce Simon to a gibbering emotional wreck. "Dre-e-e-eam, dream, dream, dre-e-eam. Dre-e-e-eam, dream, dream. When I want you, in my arms. When I want you and all your charms. When ever I want you all I have to do is Dre-e-e-eam." The effect was dramatic as Simon sat down on a nearby wall and let his tears of joy flow unashamedly. Robert sat beside him. He to was on the verge of tears when a voice came from behind him. "What's the problem now?" Robert spun round to see his dad stood behind him. "Nothing. We auditioned for the school play this afternoon and I wanted to sing Simon's special song for him. The only trouble is that I sung it too well." Robert replied. "What with your voice? You must be joking!" His dad said as he started laughing. It didn't last long. Robert started to sing again and his dad had to sit on the wall. The shock was almost too much for him. "Bloody hell! Normally a lad's voice gets worse when it breaks, but yours is a hell of a lot better." Between them they helped Simon to his feet and they all walked home together with their arms wrapped around each other's waists. They arrived home and the three of them stopped just outside the front door. Robert's dad spoke softly and quickly to the boys. He opened the door and they went inside. Robert's mum was sitting in the living room watching TV when a song, her song, started drifting in from the hall. Her mind drifted back to the days when she first met her husband. The song ended and she looked up. In the doorway stood Simon and Robert. Both had beaming smiles. She looked at them in disbelief. "Was that you singing?" She asked. "Did you like it?" Robert asked back. "It was wonderful. What made you sing that song?" "I don't know." Robert replied. "It just seemed to be the right song for the moment." "Your father had a hand in it. Didn't he?" The boys just smiled as Robert's dad passed them carrying a try of hot drinks. For the next half-hour or so, they sat there talking about how the boy's voices had changed and the forthcoming school production. Neither of the boys knew what it was called, but promised to find out. They all went to bed that night felling very happy, Robert especially. As they lay there talking quietly, Simon reminded Robert of the little lad they met when they we in hospital during their last summer camp. In one quick blow, their memories came flooding back. Particularly how scared he looked when Robert accidentally knocked his cap off. His expression when he just put it back on and carried on as though nothing had happened brought them a little cheer. "Robby, do you remember what we said we were going to do for kids like the little bald kid?" Simon asked very seriously. "We were going to try and help them weren't we." Robert replied. "Do you really think you can persuade school to make a donation?" He added pre-empting Simon's next idea. "I don't know, but I am going to give it my best shot!" He said. Not realising that Robert had just said his thoughts out loud. It was getting late by now and the boys had school the next morning. They kissed each other good night and cuddled down. Naturally, they were also cuddled up close together. They were even more inseparable at night than they were during the day. The morning dawned bright but chilly and the boys were a little slow to get going. This resulted in the inevitable run to school. Despite their best efforts, they were late and that meant detention. There was a buzz going around the school at morning break. The results of the auditions were being posted. As Simon and Robert stood there reading the notice, James came and pushed his way to the front. "What are you doing here? You can't sing!" James said with a sneer. "Oh can't I?" Robert replied. "Look!" He said pointing at the part of Fagin. "Jesus. They must be desperate!" "You should have heard him at the audition. He was brilliant!" Came a voice from the back of the crowd. "Oh. But then you couldn't because you weren't there were you!" James pushed his way back out of the crowd. "Thanks." Robert called back. "That's ok. Robby." He turned round and was about to say some thing when he saw it was Simon who had been talking. "Well?" Simon asked impatiently. "Fagin." Robert replied pointing at himself. "And?" Simon asked. "Oh sorry. I wasn't looking for your name." Robert replied trying hard not to smile. "Thanks mate!" Simon said rudely. "That's ok. Sykes, Bill Sykes." Robert said as he burst out laughing. Simon pounced and soon Robert was held in a headlock as Simon ruffled his hair roughly. The bell went and they headed back to their lessons. Both boys were over the moon because they had got major roles. But there was still one role unfilled on the notice. The lead role! After school the boys raced to the music room and spoke to their teacher. Simon suggested that the performance be used to raise money for the local children's hospital but all he got was a typical adult "I'll think about it" response. Well, he knew as well as anyone did that that usually means no, but his determination was unabated. He resolved to see "The Head" the following day. The following morning Simon dragged Robert in to school early. His plan was to go to the school office and make an appointment to see the Head. They got their appointment, but it was at 4:15. The only trouble was they had a detention at the same time. Just to compound things still further there was also a small matter of the first rehearsal, also at the same time. The rehearsal was taken care of easily enough but detention was proving to be a little more difficult. Robert found the answer to that problem. At lunchtime he went back to the school office and they gave him an appointment slip that stated both of them had to see the Head at 4:15. It didn't get them off detention but it did sort out the clash in their schedule. 4 o'clock came and both Simon and Robert reported for detention and by 4:10 they were sat outside the Head's study. When they went in, Simon explained his idea and embellished it mentioning that it would also be good publicity for the school. The Head gave it some thought before explaining that the production was meant to make money for the school. He then waffled on about new books etc. Simon's enthusiasm was dampened a little and when they returned to detention he was deep in thought about his next move. That evening, Simon and Robert were separated for a couple of hours while Simon and his mum went to antenatal class. Normally his dad would have gone but he was detained at work and so Simon took his place. All the time Simon was away, Robert was extremely fidgety. He had become so accustomed to having Simon with him that he felt there was a big hole in his life. Needless to say when he returned, there was a very warm and touching welcome for him. "So how was it?" Robert asked as he kept a tight hold on Simon's hand. "I felt like a dolphin amongst a school of whales. It was awful, but mum needed me there." "I really missed you while you were away." "I guessed that." Simon replied holding up his hand that was being firmly grasped by Robert. "It was only a couple of hours though." "I know." Robert replied. "But it felt like a life time!" He leant forward and kissed Simon on the cheek. This simple kiss soon developed into a long and very passionate embrace. The living room door opening interrupted it. Squirt walked in with a Sarah-Louise. Both Simon and Robert blushed. They didn't mind Squirt but Sarah-Louise had seen them kissing. "Hey, you two look like a bunch of cherries!" Squirt said mockingly. "Leave them alone Arthur." Sarah-Louise said. "How would you feel if they walked in on us when we were kissing like that?" Squirt just hung his head. As usual, he had opened his mouth before engaging his brain. Squirt and Sarah-Louise left the room as Simon and Robert recovered their normal colour. Their main thoughts now with what might be said at school. Squirt knew better, but Sarah-Louise was a different matter. They decided to go and talk to her. Neither knew exactly what he wanted to say. They knocked on Squirt's bedroom door. All they could hear was the thumping of the base from his stereo. Simon knocked again. This time he got an answer, even if it was almost drowned out by the music. They went in and Squirt was sat on his bed beside Sarah-Louise, his arm draped over her shoulder. Squirt had a mischievous look on his face. "Can we have a quick chat?" Simon asked almost nervously. "Sure. What's up?" Sarah-Louise asked. "It's about just now. You know, down stairs." Simon started. He was starting to feel embarrassed. "What, you mean you two kissing?" She replied. Simon and Robert almost died with embarrassment at that point. "Don't worry about it. I won't say any thing." "Thanks." Robert said. "As you can guess it was more than a little embarrassing for us. We never expected Squirt to bring anyone home." "Don't worry. I know all about you two." Squirt tried to hide but Simon was too quick for him and caught hold of him by the arm. "You little SOD!" Simon growled at Squirt. "We told you to keep your mouth shut!! Who else have you told?" He asked shaking him roughly. "No one! No one! Honest!" Squirt replied. "Sarah-Louise, did he tell you about his `little' problem?" Robert asked. Revenge was now what he wanted. "What problem was that Arthur?" She asked. Squirt tried to kick Robert but Simon yanked him back and his kick went wide. "You bastard! You promised you would never tell any one." Squirt yelled. "And so did you!" Robert yelled back. "What is this about?" Sarah-Louise asked Squirt who immediately took on the colour of a beetroot. "It's personal." He wined. "Go on Squirt tell her or shall I?" Robert paused for a few seconds. He could see Squirt was getting angrier and angrier. "Now you know how it feels to have your personal life discussed in public!" Robert let the room with a satisfied grin. "What was all that about?" Sarah-Louise asked Simon who was still trying to keep a grip on a struggling Squirt. "He was trying to prove a point. I think?" Simon replied. "No. It was more than that. I think he wanted revenge or at least that's the way it seemed to me." "Ugh!" Simon groaned as he sank to the floor. Squirt had smacked him in the nuts in an attempt to escape Simon's grip. It worked too. Sarah-Louise knelt down beside Simon trying to help him. Squirt raced off out of the room. There was a muffled scream from outside. "What was that?" She asked "I can guess." Simon left the room with Sarah-Louise close behind him. They went into his and Robert's room and found a Robert curled up in a ball on the floor by the bed. Squirt was really kicking Robert hard! With one quick, but not too hard punch to his kidneys, Simon dropped Squirt before picking him up and dumping him back on his own bed. Simon eased Robert's shirt up. There were several bruises on Robert's back. "FUCKIN' HELL! I'll kill the little bastard!" Simon yelled. "No. Leave him to me." Robert said bluntly, but the pain was evident in both his voice and on his face. "Well you did ask for it." Simon replied as he gently lifted Robert up on to the bed. "There's no way I was going to tell her about his problem even though he told her about what we do." "I know, but you were still pushing your luck a bit too far. You must remember all the trouble you had when you first told your mum about his problem." "I know Si', but that was different. She needed to know about it. Sarah-Louise didn't." There was a gentle knock on the door as Sarah-Louise came in. "Are you OK?" She asked. "He'll live. How's Squirt?" Simon asked. "Why do you call him Squirt and not Arthur?" "It's a long story and you're better of asking him about it." Robert answered. "Ok. I'll see you later." She said as she leant over kissed him on the cheek before leaving them and returning to Squirt. "You're not going Queer on me are you?" Simon asked with a grin. "Nah. I guess she likes me." Robert replied with a smile. With that the boys started playing a tape of the musical the school was going to perform. All that could be heard for the next hour or so was two wonderful voices and some occasional fumbled lyrics. The following day saw the announcement of the lead role during the lunchtime rehearsal. They were singing the opening number and when the character Oliver had his first solo both Simon and Robert knew immediately who had got the part. There could only be one devil with the voice of an angel. James! Everyone thought he was just part of Fagin's gang but from then on, he really made the part his own. During his first big solo with the song "Where is Love" he put so much feeling into the song that not only James, but also most of the cast had a tear in their eyes. It was a really moving performance. Rehearsals went well after that. Even though some of the younger lads complained that Simon put a little too much realism into his character. The rest of that was pretty much routine with the usual round of school, rehearsal and homework. Scouts on the Friday night saw the boys in a very good mood. They were given the final details for the winter camp, which would go off in 2 weeks time. The only damper on their enthusiasm was that they would be using the larger Patrol tents in stead of the hike tents. Both Simon and Robert knew they wouldn't get much time to "have some fun" and when they did, they would have to be extremely careful. Alex was settling into the Patrol very well. He had heard the stories about Simon and Robert but remained sceptical. He knew there was some thing special between them, but at the moment wasn't sure what. He also knew that he too had special feelings for them. Simon was also taking his role as APL very seriously. He had to speak to James and Thomas several times about mucking about when they should have been concentrating. Consequently, this didn't help what was, until now, a mending friendship. Simon also found it hard not being able to join in when they started messing around. Later that night, Robert and Simon stayed at Simon's house. They were in the bathroom when Robert started singing again. Since that first audition his confidence in himself had taken a real boost. So much so that he was searching for new songs to sing. He had been through all of the old ones time and again. "As long as he needs me. Oh, yes, he does need me. In spite of what you see, I'm sure that he needs me." He started singing, when he suddenly realised tears were flowing down his cheeks. He glanced at Simon. He was sat on the edge of the bath looking very depressed. Their eyes met and for a few seconds neither could move. Slowly Simon stood up and embraced Robert with all the love and tenderness in the world. As they stood there hugging each other they kissed, a kiss that neither wanted to end. When suddenly the harsh sound of someone clearing their throat brought them back to reality. There standing in the doorway was Mike. No one said anything as the boys headed off to bed. "You know, those two are truly in love." Mike said to his wife as she lay in bed. He had seen his son and Robert together on several occasions now and at last appreciated it was for real and not just a passing phase. He knew too, that Robert and Simon were as devoted to each other as he was to his wife. He still felt a little uncomfortable with the fact that his son was gay, but that didn't detract from the love that he felt for his son and a growing son-like love for Robert. "I know. Which one was singing? It's getting so hard to tell them apart now that they have started singing properly." "I know what you mean. It was Robby that time. It's good the way the two boys really care for and look after each other. I dread to think what would happen if they were ever parted." "You should have seen Simon at antenatal classes the other night. He was so funny. It didn't matter which way he turned, all he saw pregnant women. The look on his face was so comical. I even heard him say `I wish Robby was here' a couple of times." "How did he get on?" Mike asked his wife. "Oh, fine once he got over his embarrassment. He did ask one question in the car coming back though that caught me by surprise. He wants to know if he can watch the birth?" "What did you say?" Mike asked looking surprised. "I said I'd have to talk it over with you first." "Thanks." Mike replied. "I'm not sure that he is ready for that yet. Do you remember what I was like when he was born?" "How can I forget? You were like a cat on a hot tin roof to start with. You couldn't stand still for a moment. And when things started happening," she giggled "you went as white as a ghost." "Trust you to remember that bit! I still don't think he is ready. I'm not sure I am." Mike said. "I agree, but those two are like Siamese twins. Take one and you have to take the other." "I think the answer has to be no, but I'd like them both at the hospital with me if that's ok with you?" "Yea. They can carry you out of the delivery room when you pass out." She started laughing. "Just you wait." Mike said smiling. "I'll get you back for that." With that he climbed into bed and switched out the light. In the boy's room, the boys were lying in bed talking quietly. "Robby. Why did you sing that song in the bathroom?" Simon asked. "I don't know. It just sorta came out." Robert replied. "It's the song Nancy sings about Bill Sykes isn't it?" "Yea. Sara-Louise is playing that part." "I think she has the hots for you." Simon said watching Robert closely for a reaction. "Yea, but she is going out with Squirt. Besides her hots for me aren't as hot as the ones I have for you." He said as he turned onto his side and kissed Simon tenderly on the cheek. Before long both boys were entwined in each other's arms. Their lips sealed with their tongues dancing. Simon gently massaged Robert's buttocks and the small of his back as Robert fought to keep up with him. Simon slid beneath the covers and started kissing his way down Robert's body. Everywhere he kissed, electricity seemed to flow until suddenly Robert felt himself being taken all the way down. Usually Simon only worked on the first couple of inches, but tonight, Robert knew Simon had something else in mind. Robert flipped the covers back. Simon looked up at him with a broad smile and a full mouth. It didn't take long for the pop of the Vaseline jar to signal his intentions. With deft strokes, the Vaseline was applied liberally and Simon positioned himself over Robert's belly. He lowered himself slowly and with the first inch or so in place started a gently bobbing up and down. He had to stop a couple of times, but finally he was all the way in. Robert for some reason, preferred to receive but did didn't mind the occasional change. Simon was by now taking them both to seventh heaven and beyond. Unlike Robert though, he tended to sit up rather than lean forward and kiss. Besides, he wanted to give Robert all he had and not waste time cleaning up any unnecessary mess. Robert's body tensed just before a hard and sudden up thrust with his hips. Simon felt the pressure build deep inside him and the expression on Robert's face told him all he wanted to know. Simon collapsed forwards on top of Robert causing them to separate. As he lay there Robert gently started kissing Simon's neck and cheek. Then Simon felt a finger starting to explore his hidden depths. He let out a soft groan. It looked like it could develop into a night of surprises. The finger continued to explore. Deeper and deeper it went until it could go no further. A second joined it and very soon both digits were making Simon feel really good again. Robert eased himself out from under Simon before gently rolling him on to his back. Robert gently consumed Simon's jewels and used his tongue to massage and play with them. Simon was groaning continuously. Robert changed his target and swallowed it in one move. Simon almost screamed as his pleasure levels shot off the scale. Robert started bobbing his head up and down while Simon grabbed the sheet by the handful. Robert changed again and sat down on top of him. He screwed his eyes up tighter as the pain shot threw him. Simon slapped Robert's thy. "Off!" Was all Simon said. Gingerly Robert raised himself up. Simon rubbed the Vaseline where it should have been in the first place and Robert tried again. It was considerably less painful this time and very soon he was purring like a kitten. As Robert's pleasure levels rose so did his speed and it wasn't long before both boys reached a mutual climax. It was Robert's turn to flop forward on to his boyfriend. Simon started to gently nibble his ear lobe and kiss his neck. Robert just lay there while pleasure and total satisfaction flowed through him. After a quick trip to the bathroom, both boys fell asleep in their customary embrace. At around 10 the next morning, there was a knock at the front door. Mike answered it. "Hi I'm Alex. Is Simon here?" Alex asked. "Sure come on in. I'm Mike by the way." He offered Alex his hand and they shook. "If you wait in here, I'll see if I can find him." "Thanks." Alex sat down and waited patiently for Simon. His plan was to go and call for Robert next. Mike headed off up stairs. He woke the boys and a couple of minutes of near panic set in as they got themselves sorted out before going down. "Hi." Simon said entering the living room. Alex's expression changed slightly when Robert entered a couple of seconds later. "Don't panic. He slept over last night." Simon said, (comma) feeling uncomfortable about not telling the whole truth. "Hello." Robert said with a smile. "You two are always together. I thought you were brothers to start with." Alex stated. "We're just very close that's all." Robert replied. "Anyway. My dad seems to like you two. Normally he isn't too keen on me bringing my friends home, but has told me to invite you over for dinner tonight." Robert and Simon looked at each other and then at Alex. "Thank you. We'd love to come, but we'll need to check if it's ok with our parents first." Simon stood up and left the room. "Does he always make the decisions for you?" Alex asked Robert. "Not normally, but we think so much alike we sort of know if the other wants to do some thing or not." Robert replied. Simon came back in and sat down beside Robert. "Mine are happy. You had better check with yours Robby." Simon suggested. "Is it ok if I use the phone?" Robert asked. "Sure." Simon replied. Robert went out into the hall and phoned home returning a few minutes later. "Looks like we have ourselves a party." Robert said re-entering the room. "Hold-up guys." Alex said sounding a little shocked. "It won't be like that!" "Don't worry. It was only a figure of speech." Simon told Alex. "I had better tell you a little about my dad." Alex started and for the next 10 minutes or so told them a little about his father and how Sundays were a sort of traditional day at home for him. By the time he had finished, both Simon and Robert were looking forward to spending the evening in a very different way to the way they would normally.
