Last time:

Lonnie walked into the kitchen as I walked into the bedroom to change. Lance was still fast asleep. I changed into some dry clothes and went back out to the kitchen.

"He’s still asleep, go ahead and help yourself to what you’d like, I’m going to see if I can lull sleeping beauty out of his slumber." I grabbed two mugs and filled them both up with coffee. If Lance was like me, he was going to need some coffee in the morning.

Lonnie smiled and nodded. "You weren’t kidding when you said you fixed everything. There’s more food here than what the guys eat at one sitting!"

I just smiled and went into the bedroom with the coffee and closed the door behind me.

And now on to Chapter Thirteen!

Lance was still curled up in the bed; he had wrapped himself around my pillows as if he were cuddling with them in my place. Even asleep he was an angel. I set the mugs of coffee on the nightstand and sat next to him on the bed. I reached my hand up to his silky blonde hair and just ran my fingers through it. Lance stirred a little as I climbed into the bed next to him. Laying on my side I faced him, my hand made its way down to the top of his face, gently stroking his blonde eyebrows. His mouth just barely opening to release I small sigh that he gave in his sleep. I leaned in towards him, feeling his warm breath on my face. I kept moving closer to him, resting my lips gently on to his. Instinctively he opened his mouth and I guided my tongue in. After a few seconds I felt him stir and wrap his arms around me, he began to kiss me back, his tongue snaked its way past mine and entered into my mouth. Soon Lance was fully awake and we were locked in a passionate embrace. After a few minutes, we broke apart, our chests heaving for air.

"Hmmm, now that’s a way to wake up. Much better than having Chris pounding on the door." Lance said has he pulled me close and kissed me on the forehead. "I could definitely get used to waking up like this."

"And I could get used to waking you up like this every morning." Hugging Lance tightly.

"Hey, you’re all dressed already!"

"Yea I woke up about an hour and a half ago. I cooked a little breakfast for us, walked kiwi and watched you sleep. By the way, has anyone told you just how cute you are when you sleep?" I gave him a kiss on the tip of his nose.

Lance just blushed. "Do I smell coffee?"

I sat up and reached over to the nightstand and grabbed one of the mugs. "Yea, I made some coffee, thought you might like some." Lance started to sit up and took the mug as I handed it to him.

"Thanks, it smells good."

I looked at him as he drank the coffee. His hair was ruffled on one side and flat on the other, and it made him look even sexier. I thought to myself that he just keeps looking more and more beautiful.

"Say, this is good, what blend is it?"

I reached over and grabbed my mug and rested up against the headboard, Lance scooted up next to me. "It’s actually coffee from Zimbabwe, I got the beans at the San Diego Zoo’s gift shop of all places. It sounded exotic and I thought I’d give it a try, now it’s one of my favorites."

"Mmm." Was all that Lance could muffle as he drank some more of it.

We sat there; Lance snuggled up next to me with my arm around him, just enjoying our morning coffee.

"Did you say you cooked breakfast?" Lance asked once he had emptied his mug.

I nodded, "Yea, though I didn’t know what you liked so I kinda made just about everything. Lonnie’s out in the kitchen having some. I think I overdid it a little bit."

As if right on cue, Lance’s stomach let out a growl loud enough to not only catch both of our attention, but also that of Kiwi’s who was lying on the floor. Kiwi jumped up on the bed and wandered over to Lance where he looked at gave Lance a stare. Lance’s stomach rumbled once again, at which time Kiwi growled back at Lance. I let out a chuckled, patted Kiwi on the head and then grabbed Lance’s arm and pulled him out of the bed. "Come on hunger boy, let’s get you some food." As I stood off the bed I handed Lance my blue terrycloth robe seeing how he was still naked.

Lance followed me out of the bedroom. He waved at Lonnie who was sitting at the dining table and we wandered into the kitchen.

"Damn! I thought you said you only cooked a little bit. This is a breakfast buffet! You don’t expect me to eat all this do you?"

"Like I said, I didn’t know what you liked so I just made a little bit of everything in the hopes of finding something you liked."

Lance laughed. "A little? There’s more stuff here than when we all order room service."

"That’s what I told him." Lonnie proclaimed as he wandered back into the kitchen for some more fruit. "So what are you guys planning to do today?"

Lance looked at me and then at Lonnie and just shrugged his shoulders.

"Well seeing how you guys have to fly out to Oakland tomorrow I was hoping Lance wouldn’t mind just spending the day with me just around home."

Lance set down the plate he was preparing and snuck up from behind me and wrapped his arms around me. "That sounds like a perfect day to me. I turned my head to the side to look at him, only to be greeted with a kiss.

Lonnie cleared his throat. "I think I’ll head back to my room."

We broke apart. I looked at Lonnie. "Don’t leave on our account, please, finish your breakfast." I smirked, "It’s not like I don’t have enough food."

Lonnie smiled and continued to pile the fruit on to his plate. Lance and I filled up our plates to and joined Lonnie at the table. We all sat and ate, I asked Lonnie what it was like to spend so much time with Lance and the rest of the guys and he started telling me stories about them. Lance blushed through most of them as I laughed. We did this for about an hour and a half. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the stories.

"Well, I think I’ve embarrassed Lance enough, I’m going to head back to my room now." Lonnie got up and took his plate and loaded it into the dishwasher. "Thank you for breakfast Mark, and sorry about the canal." He walked out the door.

"What about the canal?" Lance asked as we still sat at the table.

"Nothing much." I blushed as I explained to him what happened. Lance burst out laughing as he stood up and took our plates into the kitchen and proceeded to start putting away all the left over food. From the looks of it, I’ll have breakfast set for the next week and a half. "Hey, you don’t have to do that."

"Hush, it’s the least I can do seeing how much you put in to cooking all of this."

"Awww, that’s so sweet." I kissed him on the back of his neck and grabbed Kiwi’s food dish and filled it up with his dog food along with refilling his water bottle. When I was done, Lance had most of the food taken care of. I hugged him from behind and whispered in his ear. "Shower time." Lance just nodded and continued putting away the food. I walked towards the bathroom, stopped, turned around.

"Um Lance, I meant that for the both of us."

Lance looked up at me. "Huh, what… Oohhh!" He pushed the remaining food towards the back of the counter and ran over to join me.

I just grinned and lead him into the bathroom.
