CHAPTER 2, PART 2: FORCED LOVE

"True friendship is seen through the heart not through the eyes." -- Unknown

Darkness was all that could be seen out of the normally picturesque window of the luxurious hotel room. It was still night. Justin's body was drenched in sweat. His hardened penis was aching for release from his tight Tommy Hilfiger boxer briefs. His heart raced as he dreamed. Suddenly, his eyes flew open. He looked down at the sleeping figure that lay in his arms. He harshly pushed Brian's body away, causing Brian to wake. Justin's eyes showed of panic and shifted all around the room. Brian looked up at Justin with confusion. "Justin? What's the matter?" Brian asked groggily. Justin's eyes manuevered to Brian, his pupils dialated as his eyes opened wide. In an instant he ran out of the room. Leaving Brian alone and confused.

Justin made a quick stride to JC's room and knocked loudly on the door. He continued knocking for what seemed like minutes. Until finally he heard an irritated "Who is it?" from inside. He immediatly recognized the voice.

"It's Justin. Nick, I need to talk to JC." Justin said hurriedly. Nick quickly opened the door, standing in only a t-shirt and boxers.

"Is something the matter, Justin?" Nick asked. Justin walked in the room and closed the door behind him.

"JC!" He shouted, ignoring Nick's previous question. Rubbing his eyes, JC emerged from a bedroom.

"What time is it, J?" JC asked yawning.

"Nick can you leave please?" Justin asked, looking first to Nick and then the door to the hall.

"Where am I supposed to go?" Nick asked.

"In the hall or something. Just for a few minutes? Please." Justin pleaded with Nick. Nick sighed and finally gave in.

"Okay." Nick grumbled as he left the room, still half asleep. As soon as the door closed Justin burried his head into JC's arm and began to sob.

"J, oh my god! What's the matter?" JC asked out of concern. He paused, then added, "What did Brian do?"

Justin cried for a little while longer and regained his composure.

"I had this dream [author's note: yes, the whole rape scene was a dream], Brian raped me." Justin began to sob again.

"It's okay, J. It was just a dream. Everything's okay." JC tried to calm Justin, rubbing his back gently.

"No it was more than that. When he started to rape me, in my dream, I didn't want it. I told him to stop. I didn't do anything though, I didn't move or scream, I... let him do it! I wanted him to stop, I really did. My body was paralyzed. It started to feel really good. And he kept saying 'I love you'. And I didn't say at first, I didn't want to say, at least I don't think I did...I just don't know." Justin spat out.

"Wait, J? What did you say?" JC asked with curiousty in his voice.

"I said I love you...I know it was just a dream and all, but I think I really ment it. And I mean, I'm not gay... I don't want to be gay!... but it just felt really good and I wanted him to continue. And when I woke up, I was hard 'down there'. I think I'm gay. Please don't hate me. I don't know anymore. God, I'm so confused. I never wanted to be gay. Its just... I don't know... I think I'm attracted to Brian or something." Justin said, burrying his head further into JC's pajama sleeve. Silence encompassed the room.

Looking up to JC's face, Justin wanted to see the expression plastered upon it. JC sat flabergasted, staring into space.

"JC, please don't push me out of your life, not like Nick did to Brian. I need you. I can't live without you. Please, say something." Justin said meakly. JC snapped back at reality and saw the child-like sadness indented onto Justin's face. JC tightened his grip onto Justin.

"It's okay.... Justin. Don't worry, I still love you. Don't worry." JC calmed Justin. With JC holding him in his arms, Justin stopped crying. There they sat for minutes, in pure silence. Thinking about about what the future held with these new 'revelations'. Silence, until Nick opened the door.

"Is everything okay, Justin? What happened?" Nick spoke with concern seeing Justin burried into JC's arms. He was now fully awake. Justin didn't move. JC gave Nick a small smile. Nick walked back to his room. Softly, rubbing Justin's back for comfort on his way.

When Nick had gone into his bed room and closed the door, JC spoke again. "Justin, you need to talk to Brian." Justin's wandering mind snapped back to reality.

"No! I don't want to talk to him—see him. I don't know what will happen when I see him..." Justin's voiced trailed off as he tried not to think what might happen.

"Justin, you have to confront this. You can't just ignore him." JC spoke wisely.

"I have to. I don't want to be gay! My mom always a family for me, a wife and kids—I wanted that too. I just can't." Responded Justin, leaving no room for arguement.

JC simply replied, "You can't avoid him forever."

"You don't understand, JC. If something happens when see him. My life, as I know it, will be over." Justin said persuasivly.

"Maybe it will change your life for the better." JC offered.

"I don't think it will though." Justin responded.

"Its your life, I'll support you no matter what." JC said, caressing Justin's upper-left arm.

"Thank you, that means a lot." Justin's words created a silence in the room. For minutes Justin sat in JC's arms, neither saying a word.

"'Remember when we first met?" Justin said, breaking the silence.

"How could I forget?" JC said, laughing out loud.

"I was nervous." Justin retorted, defending himself.

"You were more than nervous, you puked all over my shoes!" JC said loudly, causing himself to laugh.

"I've said it a thousand times, I'm sorry." Justin said, laughing himself.

"But it brought me closer to you, and for that I'm greatful." JC said quietly in a soothing voice.

"Really? Even if I am gay?" Justin asked curiously.

"Even if you're gay!" JC said ruffling Justin's hair. "No matter what Justin, I love you."

"I love you too, Josh, always. Thank you so much." Justin replied.

"Anytime... in your words: "ya be ma brotha from anotha motha, yo!" JC said, cracking himself up.

"Hey!" Justin playfully punched JC, "I'm not that bad!"

"Oh but you are, my little-scrawny-white-boy, obsessed-with-ebonics, possiby-gay friend." JC said, continuing to laugh.

"Hey! That was a low-blow!" Justin feigned anger.

"I bet you want me to that to you, huh?" JC asked in humor, continuing the joke.

"You know it, baby! I see the way you eat bananas, mmm." Justin said seductively in a laughing voice.

JC looked away in anger. For a moment Justin was scared that he had disgusted JC. Until JC spoke again. "Are you dissing the way I eat bananas?" With that Justin broke into laughter.

"Josh," Justin regained his seriousness, "How old were you when you... you know, finally did it?"

"Did what, Justin?" JC pretended to not know what Justin was talking about.

"You know... it!" Justin repeated.

JC continued his facade of ignorance, "I don't know what you're talking about."

"You know what I'm talking about!" Justin said softly in a streined voice.

"What? Just say is Justin!" JC wanted to hear Justin say the words.

"Had sex, ya loser!" Justin finally broke.

"Justin, sex isn't a dirty word. Its sweet you try to keep your innocense and all, but my god!" JC replied.

"Just answer the question, dumby!" Justin said, his voice filled with anger.

"Dumby!?" JC laughed out. "Ouch Justin, that hurt."

"Shut up!" Justin responded.

"Your so cute Justin, your like a ten-year-old!" JC continued laughing to himself.

"Well I'm rubber and you're glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you." Justin said jokingly in a sarcastic tone.

"See what I mean?" JC said, this time laughing hysterically.

"It was a joke, fat ass." Justin retorted.

"Holy shit Justin! Thats the first time I've ever heard you swear!" JC was truly suprised.

"Yeh, well..." Justin was cut off by JC.

"Its sweet Justin, don't ever change." JC soothed the situation with his calm voice, rubbing Justin's back as he looked directly into his eyes.

"So?" Justin said, trying to return to his question.

"So what?... Oh, uhm I guess I was a little older than you are right now, maybe, uhm 19." JC said, trying to recall the incident.

"How...uhm, was it?" Justin asked, his gaze shifting to the floor. "Like, what does it feel like?"

"It feels great, really nice... and really warm, and... its like really tight, it feels so nice, and uh, yeh." JC struggled for the words.

"I was just wondering... because, uh.. well, someday I'm gonna hafta do it and uhm, I'm not really sure what to do—I know where everything goes and all, but uh yeh..." Justin's voice quivered with embarrasment.

"Justin, its really hard to explain... I wasn't sure either, but once you're in the moment, your body and heart take control—if you're really in love, it'll feel great." JC found the words to express this to Justin.

"Okay, thanks..." Justin said calmly, trying to regain his sauveness. "Thank you JC for everything, for supporting me, everything, I love you." Justin said compassionetly, the words coming directly from the heart.

"You've brought a light into my life, Justin. Thank you." JC returned his gratitude. "Now I've got a question for you, Curly?"

"Shoot," Justin said, looking up.

"How do you just wake up one day and think you're gay?" JC asked with humor in his voice.

Justin brought seriousness back to the question when he answered. "I dunno. I never really thought that I was gay or straight. I mean, I liked girls, but I never really thought of myself as straight or anything."

"Oh. Okay." JC though about Justin's answer.

"Now, I've got a question for you. How can you hold me hear, show me so much care, when Nick totally cuts himself off from Brian?" Justin asked quietly, some sadness in his voice.

"I love you, J. No matter what—" JC's words were cut off.

Justin began to sing. "I can't deny what I believe, I can't be what I'm not. I know our love's forever, I know no matter what." Justin singing the famed Boyzone song caused JC to crack up.

"Hey there's a guy in Boyzone, Stephen, whose gay. Maybe I could hook you too up." JC laughed out.

"Nah, thats okay. I've got a homosexual right next door." Justin disagreed.

"Hmm, than maybe you could hook Stephen up with me?" JC commented casually.

Justin looked stunned. "Uhm, what?" He sais dumbfounded.

He looked into JC's eyes. JC's comment was not a joke.

"Justin, I don't know why you're avoiding me, but I'm sorry for whatever I did. Thank you so very much, you'll never know how much you've done for me. You're my guardian angel. I just wish you would talk to me—I'm sorry. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I moved out of our hotel room, so you can move back in. Yeh, well thats all. Please call me when you get this message, I need to talk to you, I'm in room 426 now. Bye."

"Thank you so much." Brian spoke greatfully hauling in his three suitcases. "I'm sorry for the inconvience." He paused. "I just have no where else to go...thank you." He voice began to quiver.

"It's no problem," spoke Christina quickly, trying to change the solemn mood now submerging the room.

"Yeh, were glad to have you." continued Britney.

"If you don't mind me asking, what happended between you and Brian?" Christina asked quickly, instantly regretting her words.

"Uhm, I don't even know. Justin won't talk to me, and I don't know what I did wrong." Brian said regretfully. His heart was broken into millions of pieces, a puzzle he could not put reassemble. The whole world, it seemed, had ostricized him. And now the one person that opened their heart to Brian, wouldn't even talk to him. Brian's hope for the future began to dwindle. He needed to take one more step, he decided, to better his life; or destroy it completely. First, he needed to get Justin back, to help him resolve his problem.
