For those of you who didn't raise their "RIGHT" hand, I'll spare you the agony of lugging out the big, old and dusty dictionary. Fiction means not real or didn't happen and that's what this story is. Fiction. It never happened and will never happen. Well, it might happen but the chances of it arevery, very, very, slim. OK? Remember. Fiction. I'm new. Therefore, pardon my mistakes. I already ran this through Microsoft spellchecker about three times already. So if you see errors, it's either I missed the red squidly diddly lines or my spellchecker sucks. And now on with the show. Prologue JC has always been the songwriter of Nsync. Though Justin puts in some words, it's JC who comes up with most of them. And to JC, it's normal to suddenly find your mind blank when it comes to thinking about the next line. If that happens, all he would do was sing what he already wrote and, often, the next line would pop up in his mind. If not, he'd stop, look at something inspiring and wait for the words to come dancing along in his mind. If that doesn't work, he decides that it's hopeless and throws away the song. But this particular song had JC enraptured. He already wrote the verses to be sung but his mind went blank on the chorus. He tried everything. Singing it again, reading a book then singing it again. Nothing. And though his mind screamed at him to throw it away, JC folded the piece of paper, tucked it in his notebook and went to sleep in hopes of figuring out what the next lines should be. -------------- Finish My Song "Hey baby.", Justin said and kissed Michelle on the right cheek. Michelle, pretty brown hair, pretty brown eyes, red lips and slim figure, smiled at Justin and kissed him on the nose. "Hey Justin, don't call me baby." "But it's cute." "It's sickening." "It's not. Britney liked it when I called her baby." "Blondes are idiots. Therefore, Britney is an idiot." "Does that-" "Yes, that includes you." Justin pouted. "I am not an idiot." "Yes, you are. But you're an adorable idiot." "Really?" "Yeah. Now come here and make out with me." ------------- JC walked in on Justin and Michelle, making out on the couch. "Whoa! Shit. Sorry.", and he ducked out again, already blushing. About fifteen seconds later, Justin and Michelle came out of the living room. Justin's already messy hair was even more messed up and his shirt was untucked and rumpled. Miraculously, Michelle's shirt was unrumpled, her hair untousled and her body, generally didn't show any signs that she was making out with a person a while ago. "Yes, JC dear? Did you need something?" "Uh yeah.", JC said and blushed once more. "I just wanted to say that you should put direction signs in your house, Michelle. It's too big. I spent five minutes just looking for the two you." "You interrupted what could have been hot-monkey-sex-on-the-couch-with-Justin-Timberlake just to tell me that you want to put direction signs all throughout my house?", Michelle snarled. "JC, I really love you. I do. But if you don't come up with another reason, I will literally hang you upside down on my clothesline." Both JC and Justin grinned. "My girlfriend, the Amazon.", Justin interrupted. "Yes, Justin. Both in life and in bed." JC blushed again and he laughed with the two of them. When they stopped laughing, Michelle's eyes swerved to JC. "Don't think I let you off the hook. What's the other reason and it had better be good." "Oh yeah. Someone was knocking on the door awhile ago and he was looking for you. He's in the living room downstairs right now. He's really, really wet from the rain outside, you know. He won't talk to anybody else." "Hmmmm... now who could that be?", Michelle wondered. ---------------- "Nate? Nate, is that you?", Michelle asked as she approached the dripping stranger from awhile ago. "Yeah, Mitch. It's me." "Fuck Nate. You're all wet. Shit. C'mon let's get you out of this clothes.", Michelle said and dragged Nate upstairs. When Justin began to tag along, Michelle looked at him with a look that clearly said 'stay-here'. ---------------- "What happened?", Michelle said as she sent Nate's wet clothes down the laundry chute. "He kicked me out of his house." "Alex? Bastard. I knew he was nothing but trouble." "Oh shut up. I knew that too. I was just milking him for all he was worth." "Oh really? And what was he worth?" "He's really good in bed." "Pervert." "I'm a pervert? You should talk, Ms. I'm-into-kinky-bondage-sex." "I am not!" "Yes, you are. I wonder what you let that boyfriend of yours do to you." "You keep quiet about him, you bum." "I'm a bum? You should talk Ms. I-wait-for-three-years-before-I-clean-my-room." "Will you please stop doing that?!" "I will if you turn around and let me have my privacy while I undress." "It's not like I haven't seen it.", Michelle reasoned while turning around. "Pervert." --------------- "So what happened?" "I think he was cheating on me." "He was cheating on you and he dumped you?" "Me? Get dumped? Are you kidding? I dumped his sorry ass after I got one last fuck out of him. He's really good in bed." "Sex-deprived maniac." "Sister who is also a sex-deprived maniac." "At least, for the following months, I'm gonna get some." Nate scowled at Michelle while she smiled. "No really, what happened?", Michelle asked. With a big sigh, Nate continued. "Well...I found out that he was cheating on me because he had a hickey on his neck-" "That could have been rashes." "It was the size of Idaho. Rashes, my ass.", Nate said cynically. "Anyway, the thing that actually proved it was when he came." "When he came? So, what?" "He screamed someone else's name." "Ouch." "Yeah...I know.", Nate said and fell silent. Michelle gathered Nate in her arms and held him to her chest. "Not too close, Michelle. Your jugs might poke me in the eye." "Shut up. I'm hugging you. This is supposed to be quiet time." Nate's arms went around Michelle's waist as he reciprocated the hug and let out a big sigh. "You know, after this, I'm still gonna feel like shit.", Nate said. "I know but I'm here anyway." "Yeah...yeah, I know...thanks, by the way." "Anytime, li'l bro. Anytime." ------------- "So? Is everything okay?" "Yup." "So, who's your guest?" Everyone looked at Nate. Shiny blonde hair up to the middle of his back and was neatly kept in a ponytail, beautiful green eyes that rivaled Lance's, a proud nose and thin lips. "Gentlemen, meet Nathaniel Mardigas, my brother." "You have a brother? You never told me you had a brother." "Justin?! Shake hands with him!" "Oh yeah, right.", Justin said and shook Nate's hands. JC shook his hands as well. "Nice to meet you. I never knew Michelle had a brother." JC went into the living room and shouted. "Lance! Joey! Chris! There's someone here you have to meet!" The three other members of Nsync clambered out of the living room and bounded towards Nate. "Lance, Joey, Chris, this is Nate, my brother." "My name is Lance. Lance Bass.", Lance said as he shook Nate's hand. "I never knew Michelle had a brother." "Well he's here, isn't he?", "Hey, man. Joey's the name.", Joey said as he slapped a big hand on Nate's shoulder. "I still didn't think Michelle had a brother." "Finally, somebody who can tell me embarassing stories about Ms. Amazona there.", Chris said as he shook pointed his thumb at Michelle. "He will not!" "Oh yes, he will. My name's Baba, by the way." "I thought your name was Chris." "It is. He's just fucking around with you." "Baba, it is.", Nate said. "You know, you look like a girl.", Chris said. Nate smiled at Chris. "You know, just because I'm prettier than you, doesn't mean you have to be so bitter about it." "Ouch." "Oooooh... score one for Nate.", Justin said as he took score of what would soon transform into a large battle between Nate and Chris. ----------------- "Nate's really good at this.", Chris said as his character on screen exploded into a puddle of blood and gore. "Don't be such a sore loser, Baba dearest.", Nate said and reached over to pinch Chris' cheek. Chris' face waggled and shook as Nate tugged it back and forth. "Are you really going to call me by that name?" "You told me to call you by that name. I'm just following orders." "I was kidding." "Too late, Baaaaaaaba." "I'm starting to hate that name." "Hate it all you want. It'll be your name for as long as I live, Baaaaaaaaaba." "Shut up!" "Joey, will you replace Baba here. He's becoming a sore loser." --------------------- "You know there was a time when Nate was this shy little thing-", Michelle began but was interrupted by a boisterous laugh from Nate after he made Joey's character explode. "Was?" "Yup. Was. Look at him now. He's already friends with Chris, Joey, sooner or later, with Lance and JC." "So he's not shy anymore?" "Oh no. Not by a long shot." --------------------- "Baba- I mean Chris.", Joey said when Chris glared at him. "Is right. Nate's too good at this." "Hey, I'm just doing my thang." Bored of having his character reduced to blood and gore, Chris decided to annoy Lance who was about to doze off on the couch. He picked up a pillow and tossed it at Lance's direction. Lance's sleepiness was shook off as the pillow hit him square on the face. Shaking the last dredges of sleep from his mind, he scanned the room, spotting Joey and Nate, battling it out on the Playstation, Chris sitting on the floor, cheering for Joey, and JC, looking thoughtfully at the piano. "Okay, who did it?", he asked calmly. "Nate.", Chris said. "What?! Funny, Baba. Pointing of fingers, who did it?" JC, Joey and Nate pointed at Chris while Chris pointed at Nate. "A-ha! Mr. Kirkpatrick, you just earned yourself a sleep-deprived schedule. You will be woken up everyday at six-thirty am and be put to sleep at midnight." "What?! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Nate! You are so gonna get it!", Chris said and turned around to face Nate and make true his threat. Unfortunately, Nate was not in his seat instead he was sitting in front of the piano with JC. ----------------- "Hey. You play?", Nate asked. "Yup. A lot. Ever since I was a kid.", JC answered. "So wanna play? You lead, I'll follow." "Okay." JC's slim fingers danced over the ivory and ebony keys of the piano, letting notes float in the air. Seconds later, Nate's fingers joined JC and they played together. JC's song was one of innocence, happiness and the over all delight of being alive while Nate's melody was that of grief, sadness and the desire to perish. And though their harmonies clashed wildly, it ironically blended to create one of the most beautiful melodies Nate ever heard in his life. Having heard the music, Justin and Michelle stopped making out on the couch and sat up, listening to both of them play. After a few minutes, Nate suddenly stopped. "Why'd you stop?", JC asked. "Nothing. I'm sorry... I'm just... I just can't play. Uh...excuse me.", Nate said as he stood up and ran from the room. When the door shut, everyone looked at Michelle who shook her head. "He's fine. It's just his way of dealing." "Are you sure?" "Yes, Lance. By the way, nice playing JC." "I second that.", Lance said. And they began telling JC how good the music was. ----------------- "Aren't you going to go after him?", Justin whispered to Michelle. "Nah. He needs time alone in his room." ------------------ Nate flipped himself on his back and willed himself to sink even furthur into the matress of his bed as the clock struck three in the morning. Thirty minutes ago, his stomach reminded him in loud rumbles that it was empty. Too tired and too depressed to get up, Nate inhaled the musty smell of his pillow and sunk even furthur in his matress. He closed his eyes and flipped himself onto his stomach. "Damn you, Alex." He sighed. "But I won't cry for you. Never." And he didn't. ------------------ Comments are welcome at saccharine_eyes@yahoo.com. Flames are also welcomed.
