Ok, here's part 2. I hope you enjoy it. I will accept and respond to any emails that I get, so, PLEASE email me at: Im_lovin_it@hotmail.com. And away we go! Give me just this one Chance - Part 2 I ran. I really didn't pay attention to where I was running to; I just ran. I ended up in a stall in the men's r-room. I sat there on the floor, against the door, and cried. I just basically lost my composure, and just...cried. It was a couple minutes before I heard a soft, slow shuffling of feet. The r-room door creaked open and someone (of who should be obvious by now, Lance, duh!) called out in a low, soft, comforting voice: "Marc? Please come out of there, bud? I really need to talk to you." I didn't answer. I didn't want to talk to anyone. I heard him walk further into the room and right in front of my stall. I heard the door creak a little, and I looked up. There was Lance, jumping over the stall door! He landed with a soft thud and sat down next to me: "Marc, what did I do to make you so upset?" With that, I went into convulsions of small sobs. I felt his hand come around the back of my head and press my head to his shoulder. "I'm sorry...for what ever I did to make you upset. I just couldn't believe my ears when I found out that the hottest guy in the whole mall - hell - the entire state of Georgia had a major crush on me... when it turns out that I reciprocate those feelings in full force!" Hearing that, I lifted my head from his shoulder and shed one gleaming tear, not of sadness, but of happiness, and of truth. Lance put his finger to that tear and let it drip onto his finger. Then, he beautifully quoted a verse from a poem by E. E. Cummings: "Not even the rain has such small hands." I put my hand behind his head, brought it forward, and placed one kiss on his ever so perfect lips. Just a simple kiss, one full of pain, and happiness, and sadness, and jubilation, and madness. A single kiss that brought chills down my back. When we finally pulled apart, I gazed deeply into Lance's piercing, beautiful, green eyes and smiled, remembering what had sparked this relationship that I now had with this incredibly handsome, sensitive, loving, young man. When we broke our gaze, I glanced at my watch. 6:30! "Oh, shit!" I exclaimed. Lance looked startled; I guess he thought I was talking about him or something. "What?" "I have to be at dance class in thirty minutes! I knew I was forgetting something!" I picked myself off the ground and helped Lance up. "Are you sure you can't miss just one lesson?" There was a hint of disappointment in his voice. "Yes, I'm sure. Besides, I can't miss even one unless I'm sick, I'm the teacher. And plus, it's the last lesson of 2000, I have to be there to give out the... oh, shit! ...Again." He started to chuckle. "What this time?" I smacked myself in the forehead; "I forgot the end-of-the-year treats. Shit!" "Where is the dance place?" he inquired. "The Compilation? It's right across the street. But I have to get ready, and take a shower and the sort." I sighed deeply. "I don't have the time to do both, just one or the other." By then, we had just gotten out of the r-room and were walking out into the parking lot. "Well, I can get the treats for you. I mean, I don't have much money on me, but I've got an idea for a treat; something I have an endless supply of." With that, he started to laugh. We ended up at his car, which happened to be a yellow Dodge Durango. He started to unlock the driver's side to the car, when I sidled over to him and wrapped my arms around his shoulders and said, "Thank you so much for all that you've done for me today. I just, thank you." He flashed me that loving smile that seemed so familiar to me and said, "No problem, babe. I'd do it for no one but you!" "Can I bum a ride? My car's at home." I gave him the PLEASE-with-lots-of-teeth-look. "Oh, all right. But how didja get here?" "Well, my mom's car's in the shop, so she borrowed mine and dropped me off here." I explained. "Okie-doke. Hop in!" Lance shouted. I got in the passenger side of the car and let the warm leather seat overtake me. He turned the ignition and revved the engine. He threw me a sly smile; "Ya know, the guys say I'm the craziest driver!" he laughed insanely as he pulled out of the parking lot. He slipped in a CD in the player and pressed play. Ok, you meet me with whatever treats you're bringing with you to the Compilation in about 25 minutes. Oh, there are 9 kids in my class. So, I'll see you in about 20 minutes." I leaned over and gave Lance a hug and got out of the car and ran into my house. ********************************************************************** Well, that's it this time, I hope you liked it.
