Mark asks, walking over to JT's desk and sitting down in front of him. "I don't get it baby. I have gone over all of Justin's test results and I can't explain how he was able to walk like he did the other day." JT says opening another file on his desk. "This is all a big mystery to me. Now he 's not able to walk, I don't get it." "I don't either babe." Mark says, standing up and walking over to JT, kissing him on the cheek. "The Lord works in mysterious ways is all I can say." "Yeah he does Mark, I guess we have to chunk this over into the miraculous file and just forget about it." JT says, standing up. "Is it a possibility that the nerves in his back are damaged somewhat like the nerves in your back?" Mark asks, wrapping his arms around JT. "Well from those test results there he shouldn't be able to walk at all." JT states, picking up the file. "I guess I am going to have to call in a specialist friend of mine, have him look at this." "Well baby I have seen you get up and walk when it was way impossible." Mark says as he and JT walks down the hall. "Yeah I know baby, but Justin doesn't have the same illness as I do." JT says as Kasai comes bounding down the stairs. "Hello Daddy J, Daddy Mark." Kasai says, stopping at the bottom of the stairs looking at JT pleadingly. "We had an agreement buddy, you have another week." JT says, patting Kasai on the back. "I have gone to that school and seen the kids there, they are not that bad. Hell they can say the same thing about you, that you say about them." "I'm not stuck up and spoiled." Kasai says, looking away from JT. "No you might not be stuck up, but you sure is spoiled." Mark says, smiling as Kasai turns around and stomps away. "You be ready to go in twenty minutes." "Yeah whatever dad." Kasai says, as the kitchen door swings shut. "Yep he's a teenager." JT says, laughing as he and Mark kiss as Nick walks into the room. "Good morning you two." Nick says, smiling weakly, heading towards the kitchen. "Good morning Nick. Is there something wrong?" JT asks, patting Mark on the ass and walking towards the kitchen behind Nick. "I'm just sad is all JT." Nick says, sitting down. "When Justin walked, I thought he was finally better, I thought he was ready to walk down the aisle with me." "He is ready to walk down the aisle with you, he just won't be walking." JT replies, walking over to the refrigerator and pulling out the orange juice. "Do you want some juice?" "Yes please." Nick answers him as JT pulls out some glasses. "My dream was to walk down the aisle with my man." "Well that might be your dream Nick, but walking and sitting accomplishes the same thing. You two will still be married." JT says, taking a sip of his juice. "Yes we will." Nick says as Angie and Kevin walk into the room. "Good morning Angie, Kev." "Morning Nicky, how are you feeling this morning?" Angie asks, kissing him on the cheek as he blushes. "I like to see him blush like that." "Oh stop it baby, don't tease him." Kevin says, as she looks at him funny, covers her mouth and runs to the bathroom. "Damn this is getting more frequent now. She just did that." Kevin says. "I think she's further along than she thinks." JT says, patting Kasai on the back. "Alright baby boy it's time for you to get up and roll out." "Daddy I don't want to go." Kasai whines. "You are going, now get!" JT exclaims as Kasai gets up and stomps out of the kitchen. "Boy don't make me come with you, I will grab you like Marie use to grab me and drag your ass to school kicking and screaming!" JT shouts out as Kevin and Nick starts laughing. "JT you see he's not happy going to that school." Nick says, stopping to make sure he wasn't barking up the wrong tree. "Well I know he doesn't like the place, but he hasn't been there long enough to like it." JT says, turning around to refill his glass as Chantal enters the room. "Good morning big brother." Chantal says, sitting down at the island. "Good morning Chantal." JT says, holding up the bottle of juice to her. "Yes please." Chantal replies, getting up, grabbing a glass out of the dishwasher as JT pours the juice. "So what are you doing today?" JT asks. "Well I don't know yet. If I am planning on moving out this way, I need to think about getting a job and the such." Chantal answers him, chugging the juice and then wiping her mouth. "I already found a nice small apartment just right and cozy for me, all I need to do now is get a job out here." "You found a place?" JT asks her, surprised that she would have found one so quickly. "Yes I have. I am waiting for the owner to finish making repairs and I can move in then." Chantal says. "Oh okay, how does it look?" JT asks. "It's a nice little cozy place in a cool neighborhood." Chantal says, as Mark makes his way into the kitchen. "I am going to drop Kai off baby and I will be back." Mark says, kissing JT on the lips, and groping his behind. "Are you driving to the hospital?" "I'm waiting to see what Angie is going to do." JT says, caressing Mark's cheek. "I don't think she's going to be up to working today." "Is she sick again?" Mark asks, hugging onto JT. "I feel better now." Angie says, opening the bathroom door and joining everyone at the island. "Do you feel like going to work today?" JT asks, rubbing her back. "You know I can talk to Ashlyn to take your place for today." "No don't do that, I'm going." Angie says, walking past Chantal glaring evilly at her, accepting Kevin's hand as they left the room. "I'll be ready and a few minutes." "Okay." JT says as he kisses Mark on the cheek. "Go take the boy to school, make sure he goes to class, no matter if you have to drag him kicking and screaming into class." "Okay baby." Mark says, laughing as he pats Nick on the back on his way out. "Don't you think you are being too hard on him JT?" Nick asks. "He's not happy. Why don't you let him have a tutor like Aaron has?" "Well one, he's not Aaron, two, he doesn't have a high profile life that Aaron has and three, he will go where I tell him to go." JT says as Nick sinks back in his chair. "Sorry, I was only making..." Nick says, being cut off by JT. "Well I'm his father and he will go and do what I want him to." JT says, turning around, placing his glass in the sink. "Damn JT we all know he's your kid, you remind us over and over again. Damn man, you need to lighten up a bit. I bet if Trisha was still around, you wouldn't be so tough on that boy." Chantal says. "Trisha is dead and if she was around I would still treat him the same. The way I raise Kai has nothing to do with her. When you get some kids of your own, then you can suggest to me how to raise him." JT says, turning back around. "Who's Trisha?" Nick asks. "Trisha is Kasai's mom that JT knocked up in a confused night of passion." Chantal says, getting up as JT rushes over to her grabbing her. "Oh stop, you act like it's a secret." "It was a secret." JT says, pushing Chantal out of the kitchen. "So Kasai is your real son?" Nick asks, looking at JT strangely. "I thought he was adopted." "He's my son. He's not adopted, he's my own flesh and blood." JT says, glaring at Chantal that was scared to move from the spot she was standing in. "Bro I thought it was common knowledge that he was your kid. I didn't know no one else knew. Does your husband know?" Chantal asks, slinking away from JT's grasps. "You, me and Angie are the only ones that knew Kasai was my real child." JT says as Nick gasps. "So your own husband doesn't know about him. Damn this shit is going to hurt." Chantal says. "It wouldn't hurt if you would learn to keep your mouth closed some damn time!" JT shouts as Angie walks back into the kitchen with Kevin. "What's going on in here?" Angie asks, stepping into the kitchen, unknowingly pushing Chantal away from the door. "Oh great, I bet it has something to do with your skanky ass." "Damn right, as always Angie." JT says, holding onto the counter top starting to cry. "What did she do this time?" Angie asks as Kevin steps closer to her. "Angie she didn't do anything, JT is overreacting." Nick says. "I am not overreacting!" JT shouts, sliding into a seat before his legs gave out on him. "What did you do this time ho?" Angie asks, moving away from Kevin. "Angela fuck off!" Chantal says, turning to leave the room. "Not this time bitch!" Angie screams, grabbing Chantal by her hair, pulling the woman back into the room. "What did you do!?!" "She told my and Kai's secret." JT states, holding his head down as Mark walks into the kitchen. "She can't keep her damn mouth clos..." "What's going on here? I thought you two would be gone already." Mark says, opening the refrigerator pulling out the orange juice, walking over to the counter to see that his husband wasn't right. "Baby are you okay?" "I have had enough of you and your shit!" Angie says, punching Chantal in the gut. "Baby!" Kevin shouts, moving in front of Angie, trying to block her from being hit by Chantal. "Aw fuck naw, bitch you are not going to put your hands on me and get away with it!" Chantal shouts, struggling with Mark, trying to get her hands on Angie as Kevin uses his body to shield her. "Stop `Tal, we are not going to let you hit Angie while she's pregnant. Stop struggling before I pick you up and throw you out of this house." Mark says, holding Chantal tight. "She's going to get hit!" Chantal screams. "She knows she need to protect the bastard child she's carrying, she should've known better." "Bastard child!" Kevin shouts, turning around to face Chantal. "That's right, that's a bastard child. You two are not married!" Chantal exclaims as she kicks Mark on his ankle, causing him to release her as she jumps forwards and Kevin punches her, knocking her to the ground. "Oh my God, you knocked her out." Mark says, kneeling down to help Chantal. "She's still breathing but she's out cold." "I...I wasn't trying to knock her out, I was trying to protect Angie, I didn't want her to hurt Angie or the baby." Kevin says, tears falling from his eyes, dripping on Angie's shirt. "Come on Kev, shhh...I know you were trying to protect me baby." Angie says, hugging Kevin to her bosom. "Why don't we go upstairs and calm down a bit." "Sounds like a good idea. You two go upstairs and calm down and you can come back down when you are ready to roll." "Okay JT we are going, just keep bitch there away from us." Angie says as she and Kevin went up the back stairs. "Ah hell naw! You let that bitch slip out of here! All this trouble because I told that Kasai was your real son, this is a crock of bullshit!" Chantal scrams as JT turns around and looks at her, ready to charge at her again. "Real son? What are you talking about Chantal? Kai isn't his real son." Mark says as looking at Chantal strangely as Nick gets up from his seat at the island and walks out of the kitchen. "Baby what's she talking about? Tell her Kai isn't your real son." "I can't tell her that Mark." JT says, not meeting Mark's eyes as he stands in front of him. "What do you mean you can't tell her that baby?" Mark asks, dropping his glass to the floor. "So she's telling the truth then? Kasai is your real son? How is that possible?" "She's telling the truth Mark, Kai is my real son." JT says, still not meeting Mark's eyes. "But...but how?" Mark asks. "How can he be your real son?" "Mark as many times as we've had sex I am quite sure you know how babies are made." JT says, trying to lighten the mood of things. "Stop with the jokes, this isn't funny. You lied to me." Mark says, slamming his fist on the counter top, walking from the kitchen. "Mark! Mark come back here." JT says, calling out to Mark, walking into the Main Room. "Baby go away, I don't wan to talk to you right now." Mark says, sitting down on the sofa staring at the ceiling. // Angie & Kevin's Room // --- Angie's POV--- "Baby are you sure you want to go to work today?" Kevin asked as I hurried to get ready for work. When I tried to get past him without answering, he caught my arm. "Angie, I know you're still upset about your Mom, but you're making yourself sick about this and it's hurting me." "I know... and I'm sorry," I replied as I sank onto the bed, covering my face with my hands and sighing in frustration. "I just want everything to be all better and it's just getting worse. And the killing part is that I still have to tell Daddy about the baby and I'm terrified that he's gonna react the same way Momma did." "You making yourself sick is not going to help," Kevin said softly, sitting down next to me and rubbing my back gently. "You told me yourself that your Dad would probably be excited to be a grandfather... even if the circumstances aren't the best. Tell you what... why don't you call your father and invite him out to lunch with us. That way I can be there and you won't have to face this alone." "Okay," I replied, standing up to get the phone but stopping when a dizzy spell hit. I sat down quickly, lying on my back until it passed. "I think you'd better go tell JT that I'm not going to work after all." "I'll be right back," Kevin replied, kissing my forehead softly before he left to deliver my message and I tried to make the room stop spinning. I drifted in and out of sleep, anxiety making the nausea come back full force. I was nervous as all hell wondering how my father was going to take the news of me being pregnant. He can't be any worse than Momma was, I thought despondently, easy tears coming to my eyes. I heard the door open and hurried to wipe the tears away. I smiled as Kevin lay down behind me and cuddled into my back, pulling me close to him and nuzzling my neck. I turned over to face him, kissing him then laying with my head on his chest. As I listened to his heartbeat, I tried hard not to burst into tears when I thought of our baby sleeping quietly inside me. "Are you ready to call your Dad?" Kevin asked softly, smoothing my hair back as we held each other. "Yeah, I think so," I replied, reaching across him to grab the cordless phone from the charger. I dialed the number from memory, waiting patiently for my Dad's receptionist to come on the line. As the phone rang, Kevin busied himself with playing in my hair, twisting it tight then making them look like two horns. I swatted at him, giggling like a little girl until I heard someone answering the phone. "Mr. Sebastian's office, Kate speaking. How may I help you?" the familiar voice of my Dad's Girl Friday said onto the line. "Hi Kate it's Angie. How have you been?" "I've been wonderful, and how are you Miss Nurse Lady?" "I'm great Katie, but I really need to talk to Daddy. Is he around?" "He sure is. I'll transfer you right to him. You take care of yourself and don't be such a stranger!" Kate said before she put me on hold. I was on hold for about two seconds before my father's voice came on the line. "Hey baby girl. How are you doing?" my father's booming bass asked, making me feel like a little girl again. "I'm fine Daddy. I was just calling to see if you were free for lunch today," I replied, fighting a fresh wave of tears as I recalled all the times that Daddy's voice had calmed my fears and made me feel like the most special girl in the world. "I have someone I want you to meet, and we have some news to share with you." "Is it a new man Angela?" Daddy asked in his usual forthright manner. I smirked as I looked over at Kevin, and then blew him a kiss. He whispered, "I love you" before he went back to rubbing my shoulders. "Yes Daddy, it's a new man. He's good to me and he loves me as much as I love him," I replied, smiling when Kevin kissed my shoulder. "Then I like him already. I have meetings all morning but tell you what; I' ll meet you at MESA LUNA at one thirty. I'll have Kate make the reservation right now." "That's fine. I'll see you then. I love you Dad," I said smiling when he said it back then disconnected our call. I turned around to face Kevin, hugging him close. "We're meeting him at one thirty at MESA LUNA." "Good. That gives us time to get a nap in before lunch," Kevin said, pulling the covers up over us. "I love you Angie. Now try to get some sleep." "Love you too," I mumbled, already drifting off. // Later that Afternoon... MESA LUNA Restaurant // Kevin and I got to the restaurant with twenty minutes to spare and were quickly shown to our table. As I'd expected Daddy was already waiting for us. When he saw us, he stood and held out his arms for me. I let go of Kevin 's hand and ran to my dad and was kissed his cheek. "How are you baby?" he asked, kissing me on both cheeks. I cuddled into his side, smiling up at him. "I'm fine Dad," I replied, reaching out a hand to Kevin. "Daddy, I'd like you to meet my fiancée Kevin. Kevin, this is my dad Robert Sebastian, Attorney at Law." "It's a pleasure to meet you sir," Kevin said as they shook hands. "The pleasure is all mine Mr. Backstreet Boy," my Dad replied in amusement as Kevin began to blush. "Let's have a seat and you two can tell me all about how you met." We spent the next hour telling Daddy all about the events of the last three months, from Justin's accident to Nick ending up in the hospital and how Kevin and I met while I was Nick's nurse. By the time our desserts were being served, Dad and Kevin were talking sports like old friends. I said a silent prayer of thanks that things had gone so well before I looked over at Kevin and saw that they had both gone silent. "I take it that this is not just a social call. What's really going on Angel A?" I sighed, reaching for Kevin's hand under the table before I began. "Daddy, have you heard from Momma recently?" "If you mean has she called me to tell me that you're pregnant? Yes she has," Daddy asked evenly, gray eyes never leaving mine. I paled visibly, tears springing into my eyes. "I'm so sorry Daddy... I didn't mean for this to happen!" I babbled, panicking at the thought that he might disown me too. Kevin touched my shoulder, smiling as he wiped the tears from my face. "Baby, you're gonna make yourself sick again. Calm down, okay?" Kevin said softly, caressing my face. "Angel A you know how your mother feels about you two not being married. I have to agree with her on this one... much as I hate to agree with that woman on anything," My father stated, watching Kevin and I closely. "I think it would be nice if you two got married before the birth of the baby. Even if it was just to keep the peace between you and Mablean." "You're right Mr. Sebastian," Kevin replied, turning to look at me. When I began to protest, Kevin stopped me. "Angie, your mother and father are right. I still haven't told my mother about the baby yet and I know she's going to have a fit about us not being married too. So let's just do it." "Okay..." I said, smiling briefly before I remembered Nick and Justin's wedding. "Kevin, we can't get married before..." "Nick will just have to understand that we needed to do this now," Kevin explained as he caressed my cheek. "Now, pick a day love." "Why don't you two just do it today?" my father interjected with a smile. I turned to him, shocked at what he was suggesting. "But how would we do that?" I asked, still feeling stunned. "We don't have a license or any formal clothes or anything we need. Not to mention that Momma isn't here to see it. I want a church wedding." "Baby we can always get married in a church again later. For right now, we can do it this way, that way you'll be married when the baby comes and your Mom and mine will be happy." "I guess we can do this... but we still need two witnesses," I said, starting to get excited at the prospect of marrying my new man. "I'll be one and Kate can be the other," Daddy stated, opening his cell phone and dialing. "Hey Kate, it's Bob. I need you to meet me at the 5th Street courthouse in an hour. No, just tell everybody that something came up and you needed to leave. I'll fill you in when you get there." He hung up the phone and paid for our meal while I went to the ladies room to freshen up, staring at myself in the mirror when I was done. My eyes were turning a darker shade of gray, probably because reality was starting to sink in that I was getting pregnant by and getting married to a man I barely knew. "I must be crazy... I can't do this," I whispered, running back into the stall to throw up again. When I came out, I washed my mouth out and went outside to rejoin my father and Kevin. Kevin grinned when he saw me, but the smile died when he saw my eyes. My Dad stood up and held out a hand to me again. "Angie there's been a change of plans. We're going to fly to Vegas and do the wedding there," he began, stopping when he saw the fear in my eyes. "What's wrong Angel A?" "I don't think I can do this," I stammered, collapsing into the nearest chair. Kevin looked crestfallen but didn't say anything as he waited for me to continue. "Kevin, I'm scared. I mean, what if we don't stay together... or we end up hating each other? Or we just..." "Angie, I love you," Kevin said fiercely as he grabbed my face in his hands. "You and I are going to make it baby. You have to believe in us and know that I would never hurt you." "But what about JC?" I said suddenly, blushing furiously when I remembered that Daddy was sitting next to me. "JC is nothing to me... he's less than nothing," Kevin stated resolutely, ignoring my fathers curious expression. "I love you and I love my son or daughter growing inside you. We're gonna be a family... nothing will change that." I looked deep into Kevin's eyes, needing to see that his words were true. All I saw were the same beautiful green eyes staring back at me, shining with the love we felt. I felt the fear and indecision melt away, and I made up my mind to take a chance on love with the man in front of me. "Okay... let's do it," I replied softly, smiling at both of the men in my life. "I have a car waiting for us outside to take us to the airport. Kate will meet us there and your mother will meet us in Vegas," Daddy stated as we exited the restaurant and got into the sleek black limousine waiting for us at the curb. "And away we go," Daddy said with a smile as we drove toward the airport and my appointment with my wedding. // At Florida Hospital -- JT's Office // "Hello, JT speaking how my I help you?" JT asks, answering his phone in his office. "JT I need you to come to the Prison Floor and talk with Brian Littrell. He has been returned to us from county lockup and I think he needs to be evaluated again. I know you got the run around with him the last time, but he's here and I would consider it a great deal if you could come down and talk to him." Eric, the Prison Ward doctor says. "Eric I don't think I am the one to talk to Brian, it's a conflict of interest." JT says, flipping through some charts on his desk. "Why don't you schedule him in with Valgina, she needs to get to work with patients, so I think now is the time." "I called her already and she refused to see him." Eric states. "She refused him? She can't refuse him." JT says, standing up now. "I will call you back. This woman is trying my fucking nerves." "What's up boss?" Steve asks, walking through JT's door just as he was ready to walk out. "You stay put, don't move. I'm going to talk to Valgina." JT says, walking through the door heading to the elevator. "Oh damn, the shits about to hit the fan." Steve says as JT's phone rings. "Hello, Mr. Poole's office may I help you?" "Patricia Walker calling from Lake Highland Preparatory School." The woman says, as the ruffling of papers can be heard and the sound of another phone ringing as well. "I need to speak with Mr. Poole." "This is Steve Lambert, I'm sorry miss, Mr. Poole is out of the office at the moment. Is there a message you would like me to pass to him?" Steve asks. "Well I'm calling to find out why his son is not in school today? Is Kasai sick?" The woman asks. "I don't think he is. Kasai should be in school." Steve replies, ruffling through the papers on top of JT's desk, looking for Valgina's phone number. "Ma'am hold just one moment and I will try to get you connected to Mr. Poole." "Thank you sir." The woman says as Steve places her on hold. // Up in Valgina Williams' Office // "I am getting tired of having to come here to talk about your work ethics Valgina. This is the fourth time already. Within the last week or so you have caused massive drama in this department. I am not going to stand for this Valgina, you need to keep the drama to a minimum and handle the tasks before you." JT says, standing in front of Valgina's desk. "You best take that shit to someone that wants to hear it JT. I don't have time for what you're talkin' bout." Valgina says. "Excuse me? Are you looking to be written up for insubordination?" JT asks her, looking at her sternly. "Go ahead and write me up. I can get that shit overturned." Valgina says. "You have no reason to write me up for anything, anything at all." "You gots to be kidding me. You haven't done your charts, you are refusing patients and you are harassing other employees here in the hospital." JT says, slamming his fist on her desk. "That's a bold face lie and you know it. You are only here because of our past." Valgina says, walking around her desk, getting in JT's face. "If the big wigs of this place knew about you, Steve and Angie, none of you would be working here." "Okay Valgina I gave your ass fair warning. I am going to write a formal reprimand and place it in your file documenting your actions in this meeting and the complaints I have gotten from others here in the hospital." JT says turning and walking towards the door and then stopping, turning to look at her again. "The hospital hired your scandalous ass to help people and so far all you have done is caused problems. Straighten up Valgina or else." "I do my job like I am supposed to JT. Is it you that isn't pulling his weight?" Valgina asks, taking a prissy stance in front of JT. "I am not the one that takes time off and has to go see about other people all the damn time." "I do my job, I do my job better than you do." JT says, taking offense to the words Valgina said. "Seems someone can't handle the truth. Head of the department or whatever you are supposed to be. You don't do your job better than me, hell you are never here to do your job." Valgina says as the phone on her desk rings. "Excuse me. Hello?" "Valgina is JT still in your office?" Steve asks, dreading having to talk to the woman. "Yeah his ass is still here. What do you want booty buddy?" Valgina asks. "Fucking Bitch. Just tell him to get to his office." Steve says, hanging up the phone as he starts to cry. "Who is that you are talking to like that?" JT asks, getting angry at the words Valgina used on the phone. "I was talking to your high school booty buddy. As a clue from him, get out my office. He says you are needed in your own." Valgina says, putting the phone down, and sitting back down. "You are interrupting my lunch break." "What the fuck ever." JT says, walking out of her office, slamming the door as he went. // A Few Minutes Later -- JT's Office // "Steve did you call Valgina's office a few minutes ago?" JT asks, walking past Steve, noticing that he was crying. "Yeah I called." Steve answers him, wiping his eyes. "Steve what's wrong? Why are you crying?" JT asks, sitting down at his desk. "That damn Valgina gets on my nerves, I can't take it with her being here." Steve says. "The Dean of Students is on line two. She wants to know about Kai." "What's wrong with Kai?" JT asks, picking up the phone. "Hello, JT Poole here, may I help you?" "Mr. Poole this is Patricia Walker from Lake Highland Prep..." The woman says as JT cuts her off. "What's wrong with Kasai, is he okay?" JT asks just as Mark walks into his office. "Mr. Poole I was trying to find out was he sick or hurt?" The woman asks. You see, Kasai hasn't been to class since late Friday afternoon." "Late Friday afternoon? What do you mean? I took him to school myself on Friday and I came back and picked him up after school." JT says. "Well Mr. Poole I am not disputing the fact, I am just saying that Friday afternoon he didn't attend periods five or six." The woman says. "He hasn' t been marked present in any of his classes for Monday or Tuesday." "Well I don't know why not, we have taken him to school he should be going to class." JT says as Mark sits down in front of his desk. "Well right now Mr. Poole if he doesn't stop skipping classes he will be held back a grade or you might need to find him another school to attend." The woman says. "I am quite sure you are not paying his tuition for him not to come here." "No ma'am I'm not. Thank you ma'am. I think I will get some answers out of that boy today. Thank you for letting me know what was going on." JT says picking up one of the charts on the desk and starts fanning with it. "Thank you for your time Mr. Poole, I would look forward to seeing a better report for Kasai. Have a nice day." The woman spoke as the both of them hangs up. "Baby what's going on?" Mark asks, looking at JT strangely. "That was Mrs. Walker from Kai's school. She said Kai hasn't been to school since last Friday afternoon." JT says, standing up and then sitting back down quickly. "What do you mean baby?" Mark asks, standing up now. "We take him to school everyday baby. Don't tell me he's skipping school." "He's doing something and right now I have had it with that boy." JT says, standing up this time and being able to balance himself. "Well he's your son." Mark says, turning away from JT. "Don't start baby, I'm really not in the mood for that." JT says. "When are you going to be in the mood then? We need to talk about you lying to me baby. You lied to me JT, you have lied to me for almost ten years." Mark says as JT walks away from his desk, dropping one of his crutches. "Where are you going?" "I'm going to find `my' son." JT says, walking out of the office. "Come back here JT!" Mark shouts, scaring Steve. "Fuck off Mark! I'm not in the mood right now!" JT says, pressing the button for the elevator. "I am not in the mood to deal with you right now and I am not going to. When I want to talk about that subject I will talk to you. Until then just fuck off!" // Later on at the Poole-Wahlberg Estates // "The boy done had it when he gets here! I don't know why I put up with the things I put up with. I was trying to be nice, let things slide because of what's happened to him, but he's taking more than I am willing to give him!" JT screams as Nick walking into the kitchen, sees him and walks back out. "Hold it right there Nick!" "What is it JT?" Nick asks, waking back into the kitchen with a scared look on his face. "Have you seen Kai?" JT asks, standing up from his spot at the island. "No I haven't seen him JT, honest I haven't." Nick replies, stuttering a bit. "Have you seen your brother?" JT asks, looking at Nick closely. "No I haven't seen Aaron today, besides right now he should be with his tutor." Nick tells him as he starts to shake a little bit. "JT what's going on?" "I am waiting on Kai to come home. He's been skipping school since Friday and I want to know where the hell he is!" JT says as Nick slinks away from him, scared of his voice. "I haven't seen him JT, I haven't heard from him or Aaron." Nick says trembling as they both hear the front door open. "JT are you here?" Mark calls out. "I'm in the fucking kitchen!" JT shouts, walking over to the kitchen door walking through it spotting his target sitting on the sofa. "Baby calm down." Mark says holding his hands up as JT rushes out of the kitchen. "Shut up Mark!" JT shouts as Nick walks out of the kitchen slowly. "Where the hell have you been?" "Daddy..." Kasai says, standing up. "Where the hell have you been? I don't want to hear nothing but where you have been!" JT shouts, grabbing Kasai by his short collar. "Daddy please..." Kasai says starting to cry. "Baby stop this!" Mark screams, helping to release Kasai from JT's grasp. "Stop it, I'm not going to let you hurt him." "Oh I'm gonna hurt him and you if you don't get the hell out of my way!" JT shouts, pushing Mark away from him, causing him to trip over the coffee table and fall on the floor. "Answer me Kai! Where have you been going everyday since it's apparent you haven't been going to school!" "Baby stop this!" Mark shouts. "Kai son, go to your room." "You sit your ass down right there, don't you move an inch. You stay out of this Mark!" JT shouts, turning and glaring at Mark. "Where have you been boy and you best tell me now!" "JT please calm down, you are scaring me." Nick speaks up, holding his head down, leaning against the wall. "I will not calm down!" JT shouts, falling to the floor, hitting his head on the floor. "Owww Fuck!" "Daddy are you okay?" Kasai asks, jumping off the sofa. "Baby are you alright?" Mark asks, rushing to JT's side. "No I am not alright!" JT shouts and then starts to cry. "Daddy J please don't cry." Kasai says wrapping his arms around JT's neck as he sat up in Mark's arms. "I'm sorry daddy, I'm sorry." TO BE CONTINUED...
