Date: Fri, 26 May 2000 03:50:05 -0400 (EDT) From: Angel & Author_Clive Subject: If Only You Knew 1 Well guys and gals, this is going to be a joint effort. You will not get just one great author in this story, but two great authors. Well actually you'll get one great author for sure. I'm sure that some of you know him by now. Clive has written such stories as (First Impression & Grand Encounter). Now that you know who the major author is, I'd like to introduce myself. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Angel Lenoir. My most recent story is "What is Love?". Clive and I started talking and decided that it would be cool if we did a story together. Now this is a first time for me, so if it's bad I take all the blame. :p Angel ~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~ Finally both Angel and myself would appriciate any feed back on this story, as so we have a joint account that you can mail us under... the addy is at the bottom along with our individual email adresses. Clive ~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~~^~ Anyway, you guys know the rules. If you're not of age then don't read. If it's illegal for you to read then don't. If it's against you religion then either don't read it or get a new religion! :p Also this story in no way implies that any member of NSYNC is gay. It's just how we made the story out to be. If Only You Knew Chapter One: Meetings by Angel & Clive 'Dammit, I hate it when planes are late. He was supposed to have been here an hour ago', Angel thought as he sat outside of the gate. "Why can't these pilots ever show up on time?" Angel voiced aloud to nobody in particular. About that time a soft speaking and strongly accented voice come over the intercom announcing that flight 458 from London landed at gate 37. 'It's about time. I can't believe that we're actually going to meet each other' the waiting youth thought as he picked up his sign. 'Finally after two years of talking over the Internet and phone, we get to meet each other!' As the passengers started to disembark, he raised the crisply folded sign high up above his head. The sign simply reading the name Clive Barton. "I hope that he sees this," Angel thought to myself as he held the sign even higher up above his head. As passenger after passenger left the plane, he noticed a guy disembark. The other looked like he was not exactly lost, but was in search or something or someone. The one thing that instantly hit Angel was the way the other youth was dressed, and from what he knew about style Angel could tell from a distance that he was wearing Armani. "Is that him," Angel thought to himself whilst still re-collecting all the images that he had conjured from information that Clive had given him over the years they had talked. It was apparent the moment the approaching youth made contact with Angel that he was the one that he had been waiting for, because as the other approached a smile broke across his face. 'Hmm, tall about 6'5", brown hair, swimmer's build, slightly muscular. He's kind of cute,' Angel thought myself as the other came over to him. "Angel?" the youth that had approached posed the question as he held out his hand. "Clive!" was the only response that was given as Angel ignored the hand and pulled him into a hug. "It's nice to meet you, finally! Come on, let's get your stuff and get out of here!" was all that Clive heard as Angel pulled away from the quick embrace and turned sharply, heading towards the collection point. As the two walked over to get the newly arrived youths luggage, Angel couldn't help but think of how he'd met this guy. Two years ago he'd started writing stories for an erotic story archive. As Angel read one of the stories, he realised that he wanted to get to know the other author better. Getting his ICQ number, he quickly ICQ'd him one afternoon. A response wasn't so quick in being received. In fact Angel had near given up on ever talking to the other. But a reply did come and for sure it came as a welcomed surprise. Soon the two had become good friends and spent hours talking to one another about everything and nothing. But now they were getting to meet in real life and Angel knew that for him it was like a dream come true. "So you have anything that you would like to do while we're in Orlando?" Angel asked as we picked up one of Clive's bags as it came rolling around the claim carousel. "Well, I do want to go to Disney World," he said, "and isn't NSYNC supposed to be having an autograph signing as well?" "Yup. Let me guess, you want to go to it?" Angel stated in a endearing but yet some what sarcastic tone "Well I can't be this close without getting to see them, now can I?" was all Clive rebutted with before reaching forward and swinging his second and then third piece of luggage off the moving belt. "Well I could be mean and say no, but since I want to see them in person how can I deny you? Now come on, we still have to check into the hotel." Angel said as he started moving toward the exit. 'Should I tell him now, or should I wait?' Angel asked himself as the two walked out of the doors. 'I think I'll wait.' As they exited the airport, Angel took out a set of keys and hit the alarm button to disarm the alarm and popped the trunk. Heading over toward his Black Mustang he looked back at Clive. "So what do you think?" the only response that was receive was for Clive to tilt his head ever so slightly in an accepting gestured. 45 minutes later they were pulling up into the Hilton parking lot. As Angel jumped out of the car, he again popped the trunk to let the staff at the hotel entrance get the luggage out. Tossing the keys to the bus boy he walked into the hotel. Both Angel and Clive walked side by side and the two looked like a sight to behold. Both of them radiant and from the corner of his eye Clive could see people heads literally turn, and this caused him to laugh slightly which in turn brought Angel's head to turn in his general direction bring a smile to his face. The two youths continued on through the reception area and approached the large oak covered desk. A small framed red headed clerk looked up with a slightly bored expression on her face. "May I help you?" "Yes, I believe you have reservations for me." Angel spoke in an authorative tone. "Name please?" she said as smacked on her gum before blowing a bubble still not removing her gaze from the two. "Angel Lenoir. I belief that I requested the penthouse?" was all Angel said and this time the clerk responded by slowly dropping her chin and at the last minute breaking eye contact with Angel. "Angel Lenoir. Yes, here you are. You're right you have the penthouse. Now will you be paying in cash or credit card?" "Cash," he said as he pulled out his wallet and again looking over to Clive he noticed the tilt of the head that he had witnessed earlier and this time it was Angel's turn to laugh but inwardly at Clive's mannerism. 10 minutes later, both men were exiting the elevator to the penthouse. As Angel looked around, he thought that it'd do. Two bedrooms, living room in the centre, double bath, and a small wet bar. It wasn't much to look at he'd been in better, but it'd do. As he'd been looking around, he noticed his and Clive's bags sitting in the living room in the corner. "Looks like our stuff's arrived." and at that thought Angel made his way over to grab his suitcases and put them in a room. "Make yourself at home," was all that was hollered over his shoulder to Clive as he headed into the room, "after all this is where we'll be staying for the next two weeks." As Angel had done Clive proceeded to pick up the remaining bags that were in the room and took them over to the other room which would be his residence for the next two weeks as Angel had said. After throwing his suitcases on the bed Angel re-entered the main room only to find the door ajar to his friends room so he decided to make his presence know and stepped forward into the room. "So you hungry? Want to go out to eat or order in? I can understand if you want to stay in. I imagine you're pretty jet-lagged. If you want to stay in, we can grab a bite now, get a bit to rest, and then go clubbing tonight." "No I'm cool... what ever you want I will fit in with." As Clive said this he could feel his eyes falter him and he knew that in all honesty he was as tired as he friend had presumed but it isn't every day that you get to meet someone for the first time, and especially since Angel had played such a large part of his life... 'No I'm not going to let my self regret this...' Clive played with his thoughts and finally looked up again to Angel's face. "You sure look tired man... you've been travelling for eight hours and you got a four hour time difference on top of that... I mean what time is it for you? Midnight? Or something like that" "Actually more like one in the morning... your five hours behind us Brits!", Clive couldn't help put the oar in after all it had been a long standing joke between himself and Angel. At that comment Angel just mimicked Clive's earlier motions and titled his head in acceptance and even though no words were said it was as if both knew that Clive had one that one but Angel wouldn't let it lie and would soon been equal and then one up. "Well I think we should eat in and talk... you know and really talk, I mean I've been waiting for years to have a face to face conversation with you and man I am so looking forward to this." And as if the words didn't say enough Angel's face spoke volumes with his smile beaming bright and straight at Clive, who in return was smiling equally as widely. "Sorted... you order us food, I need to use the bathroom. Now you remember what I don't like to eat right?" "Ha, like I could forget." Angel just laughed and moved backwards out of Clive's room but not before adding, "go use the jon dipshit. I'll order room service while your in there, but hurry I don't want to eat it all myself. I'm fat enough as it is." After ordering the food, Angel went back to his room and unpacked. Finding something to wear, he decided that now would be a good time for a shower. Leaving the door open, so that Clive would at least be able to hear him, he walked into the bathroom and started the shower. Fifteen minutes later he emerged from the shower, to find that the food had already arrived. With a snobbish tone, he looked over at Clive and said, "I hope that the food meets your sastifaction Master Barton. If not I can always have the cooks flayed." Once again Clive just looked at him with that look. Snickering slightly, Angel asked, "So how's Britian? I'm not sure if you'll live through this sun or not. I know you never get any sun with all that fog in Britian everyday. That's okay though I brought strong suntan lotion. Before you know it you'll be sporting a tan as good as mine. Well that is if you don't become a lobster first!" The evening passes by with ease, both men talking about conversations that they had had over the two years and just reliving memories. All the while enjoying each others company both felt like they had known the other for a lifetime, in fact it was almost unthinkable that these two had only met for real life hours before. Soon the meal and talk drew to an end and as Angel had suggest earlier in the evening the two headed out to a small club not far from the hotel and it was at this point that Clive started to slow down, becoming more and more lethargic it was evident that the day had caught up to him. Both made their way back to the hotel with Clive trying to persuade Angel to stay while he returned alone but at this point he wasn't very likely to win any kind of debate with the other if not because of the alcohol but then from the lack of sleep. So they both returned to their suit for the night. Knowing that the next day would bring the two of them closer and start the beginning of not only a new day but a new adventure for the two of them. Upon reaching the room Angel sat down for a minute to catch any late breaking news. There really wasn't much on, but he did catch the fact that a couple of his stocks had split. Looking up he noticed Clive once again watching him with that look. "What? Don't you ever play the stock market?" Angel tried to whine. "What need have I to play the stock market?" Clive asked. "Remember, I'm already filthy rich!" he said as he walked into his room and with he back to Angel a grin spread rapidly across his face. Not looking back he missed the mischeavous smile that came across Angel's face. "Sorry, but unfortunately not all of us can be rich enough to have a silver spoon permanently attached to his tongue!" Angel quipped toward Clive's back. "But that's alright, I'll forgive you for that one. I just can't believe that you're a snobbish Brit! I think you can give William a run for his money!" Angel said through a chuckle as he thought about many of the conversations that they'd had. TBC... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Finally Contact info.
