Date: 6 Mar 2001 10:28:27 MST From: Starfire Subject: Kevin and Joey Chapter 4 This story is a work of fiction. I do not know the true sexuality of either Backstreet Boys, or Nsync. If you are not at least 18 years old, or are offended by homosexual material, then, this story isn't for you. Kevin and Joey Chapter 4 Kevin stirred slowly as his mind rocked somewhere between the conscious and the unconscious. He began to think about what had happened the night before. Could it have all been some kind of wonderful dream? Suddenly, he felt movement. As his eyes came into focus, he looked down at the handsome young man, sleeping peacefully on his chest. Kevin smiled to himself as he wrapped his arms around Joey, pulling him even tighter to his body. He released a contented sigh, as his thoughts gave way to reality. Joey moaned slightly as Kevin ran his fingers carefully through his hair. With a tenderness, that he had thought long forgotten, Kevin, kissed the top of his head, causing Joey, to snuggle even more against him. Not willing to disturb his lover any further, Kevin, held him there in his arms, running the night's events once again through his mind. He smiled remembering the last event of the evening before sleep had overtaken him. That being, Joey's body pressed against his after passionately making love to him. Kevin once again felt Joey stir against his body. Looking down, his eyes met those soft brown oracles, that caused his heart to melt. It was as if, his entire being was lost inside them. "Good morning," Joey said, stretching slightly. "Good morning," Kevin replied, slightly squeezing him. "It actually happened, didn't it?" Joey asked, moving his head around on Kevin's chest. "Disappointed?" Kevin asked, as he once again looked into Joey's eyes. "Are you crazy?" Joey asked, rhetorically. "I'm thrilled." "Really?" Kevin asked, making sure there were no regrets on Joey's part. "Absolutely," Joey said, as he rolled completely on top of Kevin. "Now, shut up and kiss me." Joey lowered his lips until they met with Kevin's. Slowly, they allowed their lips to caress each other in a tender exchange. "Eww, morning breath!" They said in unison, as they broke the kiss with a round of laughter. "Toothbrush, now," Joey said, as he maneuvered out of bed. "I have an extra on the bathroom sink. You can have it." Kevin said, still laughing as Joey made his way to the bathroom. Before long, Joey emerged wearing a bright smile. Of course, that was ALL he was wearing, but Kevin didn't seem to mind. "Next," Joey said, stepping to one side, and bowing. "My, aren't we dramatic, this morning." Kevin said, with a giggle as he made his way to the bathroom. "It's a gift, why waste it?" Joey said, with a laugh as Kevin smacked him on the butt. Before long Kevin had finished his bathroom duties and returned to find Joey lying on the bed with a smile on his face. "What are you smiling at, Mr. Fatone?" Kevin asked, as he took in the sight before him. "I'm smiling at one of the most beautiful men I've ever laid my eyes on, that's all." Joey responded. "Is that so?" Kevin said, with a huge grin as he slowly crawled onto the bed towards Joey. "Yeah, that's so." Joey said, as his smile faded, being entranced by the green eyes that now held him in their grasp. "I think someone said something about a kiss, earlier." Kevin said, as he leaned in closer to Joey. "Yeah, seems like I remember that, too." Joey said, almost in a whisper as his lips met Kevin's. Before either of them could stop themselves, they had surrendered to their passion once again, as Kevin rested his body weight on top of Joey. The next hour was spent in uncontrollable passion, as the two young lovers explored each other's bodies as if it were the first time. The rest of the day was pretty routine for the guys as they went about the business of personal appearances and interviews here and there. Although, this was supposed to be their week off, both groups found themselves doing their duties as pop stars. Joey and Kevin had been separated by their positions with different groups. Nsync, was in one part of town, while The Backstreet Boys, had been sent to a different location for their part of the promotional duties. "So, how did things go with you and Joey last night?" Brian asked, as he took a seat next to Kevin. "Things went just fine." Kevin said, as a smile came across his face. "Really? Tell me what happened." Brian said, giving Kevin his full attention. "What? We went out to dinner and a movie." Kevin said, shrugging his shoulders. Brian sat there just looking at Kevin with disbelief on his face, as he shook his head. "What's that look for?" Kevin asked. "Dinner and a movie, eh?" Brian asked, wondering if Kevin would tell him the truth. "Yeah, dinner and a movie," Kevin said, again, hoping Brian would drop it. "Is that all that happened?" Brian asked, shattering Kevin's hopes. Kevin couldn't help smiling as his thoughts went back to the night before as he and Joey made love for hours. Then, to that very morning when he awoke holding Joey in his arms. "Oh my God! You didn't?" Brian asked, discreetly so that no one else could hear their conversation. "Yes we did, and it was absolutely wonderful." Kevin said, no longer holding anything back from his cousin. "Wow, I don't know what to say." Brian said. "How about, I'm happy for ya, Kev." Kevin said, with a little edge to his voice. "Well, yeah, I'm happy for ya. Why wouldn't I be?" Brian said, feeling a bit awkward at Kevin's tone. "I'm sorry, Bri. I don't know where that came from, really." Kevin said, feeling betrayed by his emotions. "Is something wrong, cuz?" Brian asked, as he slipped an arm around Kevin. "Nah, I'm okay. I just have some things on my mind, that's all." Kevin responded, leaning into Brian's body. "Yeah, I got that, from the tone of your voice." Brian said, with a slight laugh. "I know. I'm sorry. It's just that things with me and Joey have gotten complicated." Kevin said, surprising Brian. "How complicated can it be? You've only had one date." Brian said, stating the obvious. "I know. And, look how that date ended. I really like him Bri. What happens when we have to go our separate ways?" Kevin said, bringing Brian to the heart of the problem. "Oh, I get it. Have you talked to him about this?" Brian asked, giving Kevin's shoulder a squeeze. "No, I haven't really had the time." Kevin answered. "Well, don't you think you should?" Brian asked, giving him an understanding look. "Yeah, I guess, I should." Kevin responded. "Hey, don't look so glum. It can still work out, ya know." Brian said, trying to give his cousin some hope for the situation. "You really think so?" Kevin asked, looking into Brian's eyes. "Well, that really depends on how you two feel about each other." Brian said, causing Kevin's mind to wander. "Yeah, I guess it does. Thanks Bri." Kevin said, patting him on the thigh. "No problem, Kev. Good luck, I hope it works out for ya." Brian said, giving him a smile. "Me too," Kevin said, as he walked away. The day went by with the guys doing their usual stuff and then going back to their hotel rooms after a quick dinner together. Although, Kevin enjoyed the time that he had with his friends, he couldn't get Joey out of his mind. Suddenly, he was reminded of the fear that gripped his heart, the day that he and Joey first met. The only difference between then and now, was that he understood what it all meant. His feelings for Joey were very strong, even though he had only had one date with him. The energy, the attraction between them was indeed powerful. The question was, what happens now? Kevin wanted to see where things could go, but there was the two groups and different schedules to think about, as well. He would just have to talk to Joey and see what he thought about the situation. After parting from his friends Kevin, found himself alone in his hotel room, lying across his bed, staring at the ceiling. The thoughts were rushing to his mind faster than he could even consider them. He was startled from his congested thoughts by the sound of a ringing phone. "Hello?" Kevin answered. "Hi, handsome," Joey said, in a low tone. "Hi, yourself," Kevin said, as a smile graced his face. "Are you busy?" Joey asked. "No, I just got in, as a matter of fact." Kevin replied. "Would you like a little company?" Joey asked, hoping for the right response. "I think, I'd like that." Kevin said, his voice taking on a sexy, deep, smoothness. "Then open the door." Joey said, taking Kevin by surprise. "What?" Kevin asked, still confused by Joey's last statement. "I said, open the door." Joey said, again, with a slight giggle. Kevin walked to the door and opened it. There with his phone to his ear was none other than Joey. He smiled as he looked at him, standing there with that little smirk on his face, leaning against the door frame. "Listen, Joey, I'm gonna have to let you go. Something's come up that really needs my attention." Kevin said, his eyes never leaving Joey's. Joey simply closed his phone as he stared deeply into those mesmerizing green pools that always made his heart skip a beat. He closed the distance between them, until their lips met in a tender, yet passionate kiss, locking the world out around them. Kevin stepped back as Joey closed the door behind him, their lips never separating for a second. Suddenly, all the thoughts that Kevin had been dealing with earlier, came rushing back. Joey released him as he felt the sudden change in Kevin's mood. "What's wrong?" Joey asked, as he looked into Kevin's eyes. "Nothing, I just have some things on my mind, that's all." Kevin answered, in half truth. "You wanna talk about it?" Joey asked, taking him by the hand. "Yes, and no," Kevin said, leading Joey to a near by couch. "I don't understand." Joey said, giving Kevin a confused look. "I think we need to talk." Kevin said, causing Joey to become somewhat nervous. "Is this about us?" Joey asked, feeling his stomach tighten. "Yes, it is." Kevin said, his eyes locked on the floor. "You don't want to see me anymore, do you?" Joey asked, as his heart sank in fear. "What? No, I mean, yes." Kevin stammered, not sure what he should say. "What? Kev, you're confusing the hell out of me. Ya, wanna tell me what's going on here?" Joey asked, feeling completely lost at the moment. "I'm sorry, Joey. It's just that I have some things I want to talk to you about and I don't really know where to start." Kevin said, becoming somewhat uneasy, himself. "Just tell me what's on your mind." Joey said, as he awaited the worst. "I really like you, Joey. I like you a lot." Kevin said, looking into Joey's eyes. "I like you, too, Kev." Joey said, unsure where this was all going. "I have never felt this way about anyone. I think about you when I wake up in the morning. I think about you before I go to sleep at night. Everyday, I find myself wondering where you are, and what you're doing." Kevin said, as he filled Joey in on all of his feelings, holding nothing back. "I feel the same way about you, Kevin. I don't understand what the problem is." Joey said, giving Kevin a questioning look. "The problem is, what happens when we have to go our separate ways?" Kevin asked, finally releasing his deepest worries. "What about it?" Joey asked, shrugging his shoulders. "What happens to us? Will there be an us? Is there an us?" Kevin asked, his voice straining on the latter. "Kev, why are you worrying about all of this right now? Why can't we just enjoy the time that we have together? We'll worry about all of that stuff, when the time comes." Joey said, waving his hands in the air in a dismissive gesture. "I'm sorry, Joey. I need to know." Kevin said, trying to hold back his emotions, as he stood and walked towards the window. "Why? Why, do we have to decide now?" Joey asked, as he walked to stand behind Kevin. "Because," Kevin said, pausing as he looked out over the city. "I love you, Joey." To Be Continued.... Okay, guys/gals that's it for now. Let me know what you think about the story.
