Hushed whispers and screams echoed through the darkness. He could feel his body pulsating with energy. Then a thud accompanied by a wave of screams across the area split the tension. He looked to his left. His friend was just as awed as he was. She was already standing on her chair and was screaming along with the others. He grinned and yelled a little himself. Then, as the noise died, a lone piano sounded out to the waiting fans. The screaming redoubled as the lights slowly lifted to show the band and the men waiting on stage. Kevin sat gently on the stool, his fingers crossing over the keys. Everyone knew the song by heart and as AJ began to sing the first line, another wave of screaming flooded the arena. The atmosphere grew and pulsed around him. Finally it was happening. He had waited months for the day and now he was here, listening to them. Then, as the chorus struck up, he saw his favourite. Nick sang loud and clearly out to the devoted fans. For a moment, they were silent, listening to his voice. Then a solid wall of sound indicating adoration and admiration blasted the arena walls. All five of them were singing now. He sang along as did everyone else. Five years had been too long. They should not have split in the first place. But now, with a new sound, they were back and the world loved them for it. Well, London at least was clearly showing their appreciation. He watched them move around the stage, acting in perfect unison with the pure emotional feel of the song. As he watched, he could not help but gaze at Nick's figure and allow himself a gentle sigh. Emma caught the act and grinned, giving him a playful shove. He laughed before joining in with the arena in the chorus. Until then, he thought, his life had truly been Incomplete. * * * * * Prologue written. This is my first nifty story and I'm only doing one after a friend recommended that I start.
