Disclaimer: I have no knowledge of NSYNC, anyone affiliated with them, or any other celebrities that may appear here. This is a work of fiction, so any mention of sexual orientations/habits or personalities are made up by me! If you are offended by stories about relationships between men, or are too young to legally read such things, please leave. Please be warned: This chapter actually has a sex act or two in it. I've tried to make it as loving as possible, but it will still be graphic at times. A Light in the Tunnel Chapter 27 His body felt wonderfully tingly as Burke awoke, a drowsy pleasure still ringing in his arms and legs. He slithered across the bed, pressing himself as close to Josh's body as he could, reliving the spark he had felt the night before. He grinned idly, fully realizing how well their bodies fit together as his sleeping boyfriend drug him into a tight embrace. They were practically the same height, but that's where the similarities ended. Burke was slim, his muscles ropey and untoned, giving him the look of a young teen. Josh, on the other hand, was divinely cut without being bulky. His body had been built from hour upon hour of dancing, making him sleek and hard. Those workouts, nearly everyday for many years, each one filled with incredible energy, gave Josh an endurance few athletes could compare to, which he proved that night. Burke giggled with that thought, moans and whimpers echoing in his ears, the feel of Josh and sweat pouring running through his skin. As he stretched, his body rubbing against the man, he felt the steely length that had previously frightened and intrigued him, slide against his bare thigh. He wasn't even sure anymore what had scared him so much. It was just another part of Josh, the man he loved in a way he had never loved before. It was just another part of the man who loved him. But what a part! He thought, giggling again. Without even having to look down, he could easily envision each inch, every ridge and vein. Like the rest of him, Josh's dick was perfect, beautiful. While not quite as big as his own, Burke couldn't picture anything else belonging to Josh. At just over seven thick inches, he had instantly adored the new piece of pleasure he was given. He loved the hot, velvet flesh touching every part of his body. He loved the pleasure he discovered he could bring to Josh. In all, he loved every discovery they had made together. Passion newly awakened in him, Burke felt the draw of Josh's body. Slow and gentle, his hand slid over his boyfriend's skin, a feather touch on the expanse of tan. He caressed his narrow hip, the lightly haired thigh, then brought his hand between their bodies, dragging his fingernails through the trimmed, wiry patch of hair surrounding Josh's dick. As his fingertips grazed the hard flesh, his own penis responded instantly, lengthening. Josh stirred slightly as Burke's hand folded itself around him, issuing several tender strokes. In one night, their love had quadrupled, now knowing the bliss sharing their bodies could give. Burke wanted that, wanted the intimacy, the heat. He realized how much he had given to Josh, and that didn't bother him because he knew the man had given him just as much. That sharing of hearts, bodies, and spirits, showed him how much he had gained. Now, as he realized morning was fast approaching and they would be taken from the cocoon of their bed, he wanted to make sure Josh knew that he was his, that he had given up all his apprehensions to the man who showed him love. Quickly rolling away from Josh's arms, a struggle since that was an embrace he never wanted to leave, Burke took in the body bared by the blanket falling away. His tongue swiped across his lips as he lowered his head to Josh's chest, then snaked out, the tip pressing to the stiff nub of his tiny brown nipple. The tang of salt washed over his taste buds, a remembrance of the night before. With slight, lingering kisses, Burke worked his way down Josh's abdomen. The man's deep, steady breathing became shallower, more erratic. His wet tongue darted into the damp hole of his navel, then traced downward, hair tickling. In a single, tender movement, Burke kissed the swollen, purplish head of Josh's dick. "You know," Josh croaked, his eyes still closed, "this is way better than Lance's wake up calls." Smiling, Burke abandoned his adulation, returning to the head of the bed and Josh's lips. "I certainly hope so," he giggled into his boyfriend's mouth. "Good morning. How did you sleep?" "Like the dead. I got wore out last night!" They both blushed and kissed again. "Thank you, Burke. For everything. I can't believe how much I love you. It's sorta scary." "I know, but it's a good kind of scary, right? Like when a movie scares you but you can't wait to see what happens next?" "Exactly like that. And I know what's going to happen next." "What?" Burke liked the playful grin on Josh's face. "You and I are going to hop in the shower." "Lance will freak to find out you're already up!" With a smirk, Josh looked down. "Yes, I am, and it looks like I'm not the only one! Let's go!" Showing more energy than any other morning, Josh jumped out of bed and pulled Burke behind him, dashing to the bathroom. It wasn't until they were standing, face to face, in the shower that Josh realized there might be residual affects of their night. "Are you ok with everything that happened last night?" Burke just smiled and kissed him. "I mean, you aren't--hurting or anything are you?" "My hips are a little stiff, but I'm fine. No, more than fine. I'm in love and I know you are in love with me. Are you ok?" "Perfect." "Are you sure? I know you were a little slow with, you know, me being in you." "Everything was wonderful, Burke. *You* were and are wonderful. That reminds me though. Stay here for a minute." Without bothering to dry off or wrap a towel around himself, Josh went running back into their room. When he came back, Burke was a little embarrassed to see the plastic ruler that came in their box of sex stuff. Josh sucked at Burke's neck, running his hands over his wet back. "Now, let's see what we've got here." The singer dropped to his knees, grabbed Burke's dick, and held it against the ruler. "It says...'You're a lucky Guy!'" "No it doesn't!" "Does so!" Josh, his finger marking the place, stood up and showed his reddening boyfriend. The ruler had the normal markings, but also cute phrases alongside them. It did, indeed, say what Josh had read. "Told you so. Wow! You are amazing, you know that?" "No I'm not. You're amazing." Josh chuckled, but those fell quiet as he notice the actual numerical measurement. "Oh wow! Have you ever measured yourself before?" "Um, once, a long time ago." "Then you probably don't know how big you are." Josh pointed to the hash mark under his finger. "Like I said, you are amazing. Nine and three quarter inches!" Burke, trying desperately to turn the attention away from himself, grabbed the ruler and pushed it to Josh's groin. "Seven and a quarter," he announced. "'Perfect in every way.' That sounds right to me!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Joey, Justin, and Lance anxiously awaited the couple to join them at breakfast, wondering if their plan had actually worked or if they were in for some major apologizing. Justin had, not going into much detail, told them about the minor snag the night before, but he was convinced everything had, and would, turn out alright. Within moments the suite's main door opened, and JC and Burke came in, their arms around each other. It didn't take a rocket scientist to see both had a glow about them. "Good morning, guys," Lance greeted. "Morning Lansten," Burke chirped. As plates were fixed, Burke scurried over to sit by Justin, the two of them whispering and giggling as they talked about something. Josh knew he, in part, was being discussed, but it didn't bother him since Burke looked so happy. "So," Joey said, plopping down on the couch, "did you al have a nice night?" "Nice doesn't even begin to describe it, Joe. Try fantastic, out-of-this-world, cosmic, earth shattering-" "Ok, I get it. It must not have been all that, though." "Why?" "No one is walking funny this morning!" The juice Chris had been sipping came from his mouth and nose in a powerful spray. Burke rushed over, thumping his father on the back. "Dad? Are you ok? What's wrong?" Chris finally got his coughing and sputtering under control. "I'm fine." He stared his son in the eye, trying to find some difference in the teen standing before him. "I guess you aren't my little boy anymore," he sniffled while smiling. "You're growing up." Burke, for the first time, regretted making love with Josh. His heart broke at seeing his father almost crying. "Oh daddy, I'll always be your little boy. No matter what happens!" He threw himself into Chris' arms, wishing there was something he could do to make everything better. "I'm not upset son, I promise I'm not. You're just maturing faster than I'm ready for. I think all parents feel the same way. I know that you'll always be my little boy." "Well," Justin snickered, "maybe not your *little* boy." "Justin!" Lance hissed. "He's definitely all man in that department," Josh beamed proudly. "Are you ok with everything, Burkey boy?" "Yeah dad. I love Josh so much, and now I love him more." "Good. Now finish your breakfast." Burke went back to his plate and his hushed conversation with Justin. "So how many times did you all do it?" the blond asked. "Depends on what you mean," came the shy reply. "Are we talking everything?" "Not counting Clinton stuff." Though he was blushing, Burke confessed. "Four times, two for each of us." "Wow! Did it hurt and stuff?" "Just a little at first. Then Josh would hit this spot inside me and it was like my body was on fire." "Wow. I'm guessing that there wasn't a problem with sizes and everything." "Nope. We just took it slow and easy. I was a little scared at first, but Josh just kept kissing me and making sure I was ok." "That's so sweet! I'm happy for you, bro!" They hugged over their plates of waffles. "So everything worked out ok?" Joey whispered. "Yeah. It was absolutely wonderful. I know you aren't interested, Joe, but you should see how beautiful Burke is. And, oh my God, he has a big one!" "Burke? You've got to be joking. He's a scrawny little nothing! I say six inches, tops." Josh laughed and gazed lovingly at his boyfriend. "The little hands and feet thing doesn't apply to him! You're about three or four inches off!" "No way!" Joey exclaimed a little louder than he meant to, everyone looking his way. "That would make him just a little smaller than Lance!" "You know, it's kind of creepy that we know how big everyone is. And it's creepier that we're talking about it." "It's a guy thing, sizing up the competition and stuff. Besides, we've lived on top of each other for however many years. You're bound to see someone all boned up sooner or later." "But you know what, Joe? The sex wasn't even the best part. It was great and everything, but it was the connection we had. While we were with each other, it was like we were one person. It felt like I could reach out and grab our love in my hand. It was that powerful, like an actual thing in the room." "I'm so happy for you, Jayce. For both of you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Burke was supposed to be doing a set of Geometry questions, but him mind was not on math. Instead of messing with numbers and equations, he doodled in his notebook. Elementary pictures emerged from under his wandering hand, looking like the half formed scribbles of a five year old. Art really wasn't his thing, but he wasn't trying to create a masterpiece. "Burke, pay attention to your assignment." "Sorry, Amelia," he apologized. He returned to staring at the book in front of him, but that's not what he wanted to think about. How could he be doing a stupid assignment when his soul felt like it was about to burst out of his body? "Burke? Is everything alright? You seem a bit distracted today?" "I'm fine. Just a lot of things on my mind. I'll pay attention." The tutor, who had grown rather fond of the inquisitive young man she was in charge of educating, watched him as he wrote solutions to the problems in front of him. Amelia had been overjoyed when she got this job. It paid more than she ever thought about making at any school, and it was ten times easier. Burke, she discovered soon after beginning, really didn't need a teacher. He was incredibly bright, rivaling most of the people who had graduated from college with her. That was a definite plus in that he challenged her to challenge him. Besides that, she was given the opportunity to travel the country with NSYNC, her favorite group ever since their debut album. "Burke? Do you think you could get those questions and the ones in the next section done by tomorrow?" "Yeah. This stuff is pretty easy. The only hard thing is taking the time to write out the proofs." "What about your essay? Have it finished?" Burke reached into his backpack and pulled out a navy blue folder. "Wow! Double spaced and everything!" Amelia was constantly amazed at the quality of work he turned in. No other student, even her, had shown such an interest in work obviously beneath them. "Great! How about we just call it a day? You can give me those problems tomorrow, and read the next chapter in you history book." "Really?" "Yep. Go on, have a nice time on your last day in New York." Burke rapidly tossed his things in his bag, then stopped, looking up at his tutor. "Uh, Amelia? Have you had the chance to see anything while we've been here?" "A few things. I haven't done a lot of sightseeing." "Do you want to go with me? I mean, Warren will be with us. The guys won't be back for a while, and I get lonely wandering around all by myself." "That sounds wonderful, Burke. Thank you." "Look at the monkeys!" Burke laughed as the chimps swung from the ropes in their glass enclosed home. "Look Warren! That one looks like you!" The bodyguard thumped his young charge on top of his head. "And you remind me of the baboons. Always showing your big, red ass!" Burke tried to look very serious. "Warren, you're like twenty years older than me. You really shouldn't be looking at my ass. That's gross!" Amelia guffawed and quickly covered her mouth. She was having a wonderful time, elated when Burke suggested going to the zoo. The best part was watching her student outside of the classroom. Burke was always very studious around he, but now his face was aglow with laughter and smiles. She had giggled uncontrollably when they were at the alligator enclosure, he telling her all about the giant lizards getting into pools in Orlando and how his friends had scared him his a plastic one. More than liking the change in Burke, she enjoyed the dynamic between he and his bodyguard. Warren was an imposing man, gruff and stoic. At first glance, she had thought he resented his assignment, but now realized they were actually good friends. "Ice cream!" Burke trilled, dashing off to the wheeled cart. "He's an amazing young man," Amelia noted as she and Warren followed. "He's the best," he smiled before resuming his distant frown. "For a client." She giggled and gave him a secretive wink. "What should we go see now, Burke?" He intently studied his map of the zoo. "Felis!" Warren's frown became deeper. "The cats," Amelia translated. Without missing a beat, Burke was off again, licking the cone he had bought. Getting to the big cat section, Burke was ecstatic to see that a zookeeper was standing in front of the tiger pen, holding a scruffy orange and black striped kitten. Kids of all ages gathered around, hands questing for one touch of the wiry fur. Burke plunged into the crowd, wanting his chance too. "No pushing!" Warren hollered. Burke smirked and waited his turn. The boy had disappeared into the crowd, but neither his teacher nor his guard were worried. Many people, big and small, were gathered around the kitten. Burke would pet it, then rejoin them. While they waited, Warren and Amelia made small talk, mostly about the teen since he was the only thing they had in common. A series of screams woke them from their conversation. Warren, his training kicking in, started into the mob. People yelled for help, everyone crowding to the edge of the tiger pit. Warren searched for Burke, but couldn't find him. "Burke!" he shouted, pushing scurrying people out of the way. "Burke!" "Someone fell in!" a woman cried. "Oh! Someone get a zookeeper! Please, someone!" Warren changed direction, elbowing his way to the metal bar. He gasped when he looked into the grassy ravine and saw Burke sitting there, looking stunned. "Burke! Are you alright?" The boy looked up, his eyes finally finding the man. "I--I think so. Someone pushed me, Warren." "Just sit still, buddy. We'll get you out of there. Just be quiet and don't say a word!" A rush of uniformed men and woman were running toward the pen. "It's one of the tigers!" a man in a Hawaiian shirt bellowed. "It's coming right at the boy!" People grabbed Warren, holding him back as he tried to climb over the railing to jump in the pit. "Burke! Watch out!" Burke sat perfectly still as the beast warily stalked toward him, it's long tail twitching as it sniffed the air. "Will it attack him?" someone far above asked. "Please say it's tame!" "They've been raised around people, ma'am," came a voice, "but they aren't really tamed, not like a housecat." The tiger padded closer, stopping just feet away from the unmoving boy. It yawned, opening a mouth full of white, vicious fangs. Burke felt a shudder pas through his body. Only one thought came to him. Play with it. Next to his hand was a roundish rock, so, keeping his eyes locked on the gigantic cats, he batted it across the ground. The tiger followed its bumpy roll, then looked back to Burke. They stared at each other, gray and amber eyes locked. Burke mewed softly, like a kitten. The tiger sat down on its muscular haunches, a cocked its head to one side. Burke slowly laid down, curling into a ball, and mewed again. The cat stretched, coming to it feet, and nosed him, sniffing his skin. A gasp ran through the crowd overhead. Then another as the tiger laid down, laying a protective paw over the cowering boy, and ran a sandpaper tongue over his arm. The onlookers roared and cheered when the zookeepers brought Burke from the camouflaged entrance of the pen. Warren was instantly there, grabbing him into a worried hug. "Oh God, I thought I had lost you. Are you hurt?" Without waiting for an answer, he began checking the boy over, finding only a few bruises. "She licked me!" Burke giggled. "Like I was her baby or something!" "We're leaving," Warren commanded, his face drained of all color. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Wow! Listen to this!" Lance puffed, turning up the van's radio. "A young man, still unidentified, has been rescued from the tiger enclosure at the zoo. People at the scene report that there was a rush to pet a tiger kitten, and the victim was accidentally shoved, falling over the railing, twenty feet. Miraculously, we are told, he suffered no injuries other than minor bruising. We have been told a female tiger came to investigate the boy, then protected him while zookeepers made their way inside." "Oh wow!" Justin panted. "That sounds scary. I'm glad everything was ok." "That sounds like the kind of thing that would happen to Burke," Chris added. "He's crazy about tigers. I wouldn't be surprised if he just jumped into their cage!" They all laughed, knowing Chris was right about his son, none of them thinking Burke would be anywhere but in class. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Johnny, Rich, guys, I'm handing in my resignation." The man gaped, surprised by Warren's announcement. "If that's what you want, Warren. Aren't you happy here?" "Very, Johnny." "Has someone offered you another job?" Lance asked. "No. I just can't do this job. I--" "You aren't going anywhere," Burke said, walking into the room. "You aren't going to quit because of me being an idiot. I won't let you." The man seemed to forget everyone else was there. "I could've lost you, Burke! I couldn't help you, and that's my job! I shouldn't be here if I can't do my job!" "Lost him? What are you two talking about?" "I sorta had an accident earlier. I'm fine, so don't worry." "What happened, bro?" "We were at the zoo, and there was a kitten. I wanted to pet it like everyone else, and--" "Oh my God!" Chris shouted, rushing to his son. "Oh, Burke, are you ok? Really?" "I'm fine dad. Just a couple of bruises." "You could've been killed! We heard about it one the news!" "And that's why I'm quitting," Warren added. "Burke could have been seriously hurt, or killed, and I couldn't do anything to help him." "It was an accident, Warren. Just my dumb luck. It wasn't your fault! You've got to see that! You would've done everything you could. I saw you trying to get in there with me. You tried." "I refuse to accept your resignation, Warren," Johnny spoke. "In fact, I demand you stay on, with your current assignment, with the benefit of hazard pay!" "And we all know I'm the biggest hazard there is!" Burke chuckled, his eyes pleading with his quiet, stony friend. "Please, Warren? Don't go?" To add insult to injury, he tried to give his best puppy eyes. "How can you resist that face?" Justin laughed. "Like this." Warren thumped him on the head. "Ow! I could've died and he's beating up on me!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Are you sure you're fine? We don't have to go to the party if you don't feel up to it. Everyone will understand." "I'm fine Josh. I'm a little sore from hitting the ground, but I'm fine." He looked at his boyfriend with a playful glint in his eyes. "Actually, that was one of the coolest things that ever happened to me! The tiger was right there, Josh. It was laying right up against me!" Josh rolled his blue eyes, wishing he could be mad or upset. "You are crazy. You know that, don't you? You fall into a pen with meat eating tigers, and you think it's a great thing! What if it had attacked you?" Burke poked his thin arms. "It would still be hungry?" he laughed. "Maybe it protected me because I'm part tiger!" "Like I said. Crazy." Cackling, Burke dove at his boyfriend, tackling to the bed. "What are you doing?" "You said I was crazy, so I'm being crazy. You know what I'm crazy about?" "I'm afraid to ask." "You!" "Ok, Burke. You aren't crazy, you're cheesy! That was either the worst line I've ever heard, or the cutest. Come on, get off. We have to get ready." Burke shook his head. "What?" Burke slowly slid off him, his face buried against Josh's bare chest. Their eyes met as the boy knelt beside the bed. "What are you up to?" Burke grinned, blew his boyfriend a kiss, then crawled back up for a real one. "Josh?" he whispered in the man's ear. "Yeah?" "Love you." "Love you too." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That's all for now! I know some of you wanted me to go into detail about JC and Burke having sex. I thought, for now, that it would be better to allude to it happening. I'll be more descriptive in the future, so don't worry! I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions! You can reach me at cameronwriter@hotmail.com Just a little note. I will be updating a little less frequently from now on. There are some developments in my life right now, and I need to devote some time to those. I hope you will understand and be patient. Always, Cameron
