Author's note: none ;P ~*~*~*~*~ Part 1 ~*~*~*~*~ "One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, JUSTIN GOD DAMN IT!" Wade yelled and stopped the music. Everyone glared at Justin and groaned loudly. They'd been rehearsing that same song for over an hour, and Justin kept missing that same step. Normally, it was okay for someone to always miss the same step, and Wade would take them alone and work it until they got it. But that was Justin we were talking about. Justin. The one who always nailed the dances perfectly the first time they tried them. Something had to be wrong. "Guys, rehearsal's over. Go home and rest. Justin, get your ass over here." Wade said dryly. The four guys took their belongings and left the room quietly. Justin stared at the floor while he walked slowly towards Wade. ~*~*~ He's gonna know. As soon as we start practicing alone, he'll notice I'm always staring at him in the mirror, and that it's why I'm always falling down and missing steps. I have to stop doing that. If he could only put a fucking shirt on, I'd find it a wee bit easier to concentrate. ~*~*~ It had started when Wade had joined the N'sync team. At first, Justin had thought he was an arrogant little prick, that he had no right, being that young, to yell at them and to treat them like slaves the way he did. They were Nsync for god's sake! But when he started to realise how much progress they had made, in a matter of weeks, and when he noticed that Lance rarely tripped on his own two feet anymore, Wade wasn't that bad anymore. Justin began to hang out with him, more and more, until they became best friends. They were attached at the hip, writing songs and playing basketball together, whenever they had a free moment. And it was while they played basketball that Justin noticed how well Wade could move, and how sexy he looked when he bent down to pick up his towel. Justin then realised how he couldn't tear his gaze off of Wade when they rehearsed. And how much looking at Wade while dancing could fuck up a choreography. ~*~*~ "Justin, what the hell is wrong with you?" Wade asked, a little angered and very concerned. It was both the choreographer and the friend speaking at the same time. Justin felt his chin trembling a little. "I don't know." Justin said in a small voice. He looked just like a little kid who's just broken a window with a baseball. He looked like he was just about to cry. Wade's features softened. He wrapped his bare arms around Justin's lean frame and hugged him tightly. Justin broke down. He wrapped his own arms around the body he longed for so much, the exposed, tanned, muscled upper body he wanted to touch, to lick, and he squeezed it, hard. He closed his eyes, tears filling them quickly and rolling on his cheeks, and he buried his face in Wade's neck. "J...what's wrong?" Wade asked again, softly, his voice barely above a whisper. Justin couldn't answer. His throat was so tight he could not talk at all. Wade stroked his back, slowly, gently, and tried to soothe him down a bit. Justin stopped shaking. He took a deep breath, his lungs full of Wade's scent, and exhaled loudly. "You wanna sit down for a while?" Wade asked lowly. Justin nodded and broke their embrace, leaving them both feeling empty. They sat down on the floor, Justin still staring at it. He couldn't bring himself to look at Wade. He was affraid that if he did, he wouldn't be able to resist his urge to kiss him. "Justin?" Wade called softly. Justin didn't look up. "Justin." Wade repeated. Justin shivered. "Justin Randall Timberlake, look at me." Wade said firmly. Justin looked up, his gaze meeting Wade's. ~*~*~ I could drown in those eyes. It's almost as if they could read into my mind. I swear he knows what I'm thinking. ~*~*~ "Justin...Is there something you want to tell me?" Wade asked. Justin nodded, but remained quiet. "What is it, Just? It's just me, you know, you don't have to be affraid. I don't bite..." Wade said with a small smile. Justin smiled a little, too. Wade's grin grew larger. "There. That's my Justin." he said, patting Justin on the back. "Do you want to play a game?" Wade asked, then, not waiting for an answer, he went on. "I'm gonna ask you some questions, and you have to answer by yes or no. And since you're playing mute here, you'll only have to nod or shake you head. Okay?" Justin nodded. "Are you tired of being in N'Sync?" Justin shook his head. "Did you have a fight with one of the guys?" He shook his head. Wade thought about it for a second. "Does you problem concern me, Justin?" Justin hesitated, closed his eyes and nodded. "Does it have to do with Choreographer Wade?" Justin shook his head. "Have I done something to you?" Wade's voice was soft, small. Justin shook his head. "Does it have to do with the fact that you're always staring at me in the mirror while you dance?" Justin snapped his head in Wade's direction, his eyes wide open. Wade smiled a little. "Yeah, I noticed." he said softly. Then, he looked in Justin's eyes. "Justin...does it have to do with the fact that you're always staring at me in the mirror while you dance?" Wade asked again. Justin nodded and looked at the floor. He was starting to know it by heart. "J...talk to me. I won't hurt you, I promise." Wade said. "I like you Wade. When we're together, I always want to be near you, to touch you and when we're apart I'm always thinking about you and talking about you and when we're rehearsing and you take your shirt off, I can't concentrate, I can't help myself and I stare at you cause you're so beautiful, and I can't take my eyes off of you and I trip over my own two feet and mess everything up and it makes me mad because I want you to think I'm good, I want to impress you and..." Wade put his hand over Justin's mouth. "I got it J." he said with a smile. "Why didn't you just tell me?" Wade asked after a moment. Justin sneered. "It's not that simple, Wade..." he said. Wade's eyebrows went up. "It's not? What did you just do?" he asked matter-of-factly. Justin blushed and Wade laughed. "Oh my God, this is such a kodak moment, I made THE Justin Timberlake blush!" Wade said teasingly. "Aw, shut up man." Justin said, his cheeks red. He looked at the floor again. "Justin?" Wade called. Justin looked up. "Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" Wade asked with a broad smile. Justin's eyes lit up. "Are you serious?" Justin asked. "'course I am." Wade said, rolling his eyes playfully. Justin smiled too. "Then yes, I would really like to go on a date with you, Wade." he said. "Good. But first, we have to practice that damned move you've been messing all day." Wade said, getting up. Justin got up too. "Ummm, Wade? Will you please put a shirt on?" Justin asked pleadingly. "Nope. You're gonna have to get used to concentrate even if I'm half naked. When I'm through with you, you'll be able to dance while staring at me in your goddamn mirror, even if I'm ALL naked." Wade said, his voice firm. Justin sighed in defeat. Wadelooked at him, as if wondering about something, then he walked to the CD player, took the N'sync cd out, put another in and pressed the 'play' button. "Hey, what are you doing?" Justin asked. "Just something 'bout you..." Justin's voice blared through the speakers. Justin blushed even more than before. He had never danced to this song in front of Wade. It was his first solo song and he was very shy about it. "Come on, Tiberlake. Show me what you got." Wade said. "Do it with me?" Justin asked. Wade nodded, started the song over, and they danced. Wade made Justin work on the parts he was not too good at, until he nailed it perfectly. When he was done, both him and Justin were covered in sweat. "Good job man. We can go now." Wade said, satisfied with his work. "We haven't even practiced the other song yet!" Justin protested. "You'll do just fine tomorrow. Now you're going home, you take a shower, you dress nicely, and I'll pick you up at 6. Okay?" Justin frowned. "Wade...don't you think it'd be better if we hung out at my place? I mean, not that I wouldn't like it if we went someplace nice, but we won't be able to be...ourselves, you know? We could have dinner at my place, I can cook you something..." Justin said softly. Wade smiled. "I love the sound of that. I'll go grab a shower and then I'll meet you at your place in, say...an hour?" Wade suggested. "Good. So umm...I'll see you then?" Justin said. "Yeah. See you later." Wade said, then he bent down to pick up his towel and belongings. Justin walked away, then he stopped himself at the door and smiled evilly. "Hey Robson!" he yelled. Wade looked at him questionningly. "Nice ass!" Justin said, wiggling his eyebrows. Wade blushed deeply, and Justin laughed loudly. ~*~*~ Oh my God! I have a date with Wade! Oh my God! My place is a mess!!! What am I gonna cook? I CAN'T cook! I'm such an idiot. He's gonna run away screaming long before the evening's over! ~*~*~ The drive to Justin's place was a short one, with only one stop to the liquor store to get a bottle of wine. When he got home, he climbed the stairs two by two, unlocked the door and ran inside. Oof...The maid had been in there. It was as clean as possible. Justin ran to the refrigerator. Chicken. Tomatoes. Herbs. Potatoes. Good. He could make something out of that. He cut the tomatoes in small pieces, put them in a pot with the chicken, added some herbs, tomato juice and put it on the stove with the cover on. He then ran to the shower, washed himself quickly, shaved, sprayed on a little cologne and brushed his teeth. Then, with only a towel clad around his waist, he ran down the stairs to check on his chiken. It looked great and smelled awfully good. He peeled a few potatoes, put them in another pot with water and salt, and almost threw it on the stove. He then ran back upstairs to his bedroom and tried to figure out what to wear. Was it a formal or casual date? He decided to play safe. He chose dark jeans that clung to his hips, not baggy, just perfectly fitted, and a black dress shirt. He unbuttonned the three first buttons of the shirt, threw on a pair of socks, shoes, and cursed when there was a knock at the door. "Has it already been an hour?" he asked himself, grabbing his watch. He looked at it: yes, it had been an hour. He ran downstairs and went to get the door. "Hi!" he said, out of breath. "Hey...you alright?" Wade asked. He was holding a bottle of wine. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just had to run everywhere...next time we have a date, let's settle on two hours, okay?" Justin asked, smiling. Wade laughed. "Okay." He handed Justin the bottle he was holding, as Justin let him in. "I brought that...I hope it's alright?" Wade asked, uncertain. "Of course. I had bought one myself, but we'll just drink them both and get trashed." Justin joked and walked to the kitchen. Wade smiled deviously behind his back. "Do you want me to open it now, since dinner's not ready yet?" Justin asked while checking on his potatoes. "Yeah, we could have a glass and talk while we wait." Wade said. Justin smiled. After a while, dinner was ready and served. "Justin, this is excellent. Did you cook that?" Wade asked, stunned. "Yeah..." Justin replied, blushing. "You'll make a good housewife..." Wade said teasingly, only to find Justin staring at him with a dreamy expression. Wade reached out and took Justin's hand in his own. "I'm glad you told me what you told me this afternoon, J." Wade said. Justin smiled. "Are you?" he asked softly. "Yeah...I like you a lot, you know, and I couldn't really bring myself to tell you cause I was affraid I'd loose my job." Wade said shyly. "Nah...you know the guys would never fire you. Hell, *I* would never fire you. We've never been better, and your choreographies and ideas are way more interresting than Darren's. You're nicer, and we get along, and I love spending time with you...more than anything." Justin said. Wade smiled. "Wanna watch a movie?" They had finished eating a while ago, and were now sitting in the living room, talking. "You know, I'd rather cuddle with you and just talk." Wade said, then he blushed. "That was bold." he said, smiling shyly. Justin smiled, took Wade's empty glass of wine and put it with his own on the table, then he motionned Wade to come closer. Wade sat just inches away from Justin, and Justin filled the gap between them, putting an arm around Wade's shoulders. Wade tentatively rested his head on Justin's shoulder, and when he was comfortable, Justin placed a kiss on top of it. "So, what do you want to talk about?" Justin asked softly. And they talked. For hours. About themselves, their lives, their carreers, their goals. At one point, they stopped talking and just enjoyed each other's presence. After a while, Wade turned to Justin and looked at him in the eyes. "Justin? Will you go out with me?" he asked shyly. He was rewarded with a large smile and sparkling eyes. "I'd love to." Justin said simply. Wade remained serious and leaned closer to Justin, placing a soft kiss on his lips. Justin smiled again, and Wade got up. "I think it's time for me to go home." he said. "You could stay the night, if you want." Justin suggested. "Nah...I'd love to, but...not on the first date, you know?" Wade said, a little uncomfortable. "Hey, it's okay! I'm sorry I suggested that. I'm going way too fast here. Sorry." Justin said, getting up too. He walked Wade to the door. "I had a wonderful time tonight, Just." Wade said softly. "Me too, Wade, me too." Justin said, then he smiled a little. "Can I um...can I tell the guys I have a boyfriend?" he asked. Wade laughed. "Yes you can. So umm...Are you free tomorrow night?" Wade asked. "I'm free every night for you." Justin said, leaning closer and kissing Wade. "Thanks for dinner. I'll call you tomorrow, okay?" Wade whispered. "Okay. Goodnight." Justin whispered too. "'Night." ~*~*~*~*~To be continued~*~*~*~*~ Liked it? Hated it? E-mail me and tell me about it! lulupowerstories@yahoo.com see ya!
