"I hope you don't mind but I borrowed some clothes," he said sitting on the bed. "Oh it's no problem," Justin said standing in front of him. "I'm surprised they fit you though, you're more muscular then me." "I love your muscles just the way they are," Craig said pulling Justin down to him by the waistband of his sweat pants. Justin straddled the man and kissed him deeply. "I need to get dressed before we go," he said while Craig kissed his neck. "Mmhm..." Craig said not really listening. "Babe, come on, you're gonna be late," Justin said standing. He dressed in khakis and a striped blue collard shirt and they headed outside. "I wish we could take the Porsche, but I guess that ones out of the question huh?" Justin said with a grin. Craig laughed, "Yeah I'd say so." Justin punched in a code on the keypad by the garage door. The doors slid sideways revealing what looked like a parking lot. "Pick one," Justin said motioning to the cars with his hand. "I don't know, it doesn't matter," Craig said. "Come on. I know you want to." He took the man's hand and walked him through the garage. "You have everything in here," Craig said in awe. "The only thing I don't have that I've been dieing for is a Lamborghini Diablo. They're so hot." Craig smiled, "You really like cars huh?" Justin blushed, "Yeah." Craig put his arms around the man. "Do they turn you on?" Justin laughed, "Not as much as you." They kissed. "That one," Craig said pointing to a black car. "62 Jaguar?" "61, but impressive nonetheless," he said kissing his cheek. "I'll pull it out." Justin did so and soon they were on their way to Pismo. "It seems like a pretty nice day," Justin said looking out at the bright sun. "Yeah, hopefully it stays this way." "Do you know what kind of stuff you have to do? Like beach stuff I guess?" "Yeah. It's like we'll get dressed then try to look like we're having fun doing what ever it is. Usually they'll just tell us to do something like play volleyball, and then take pictures of it." "Do you ever have fun?" Justin asked glancing over at Craig. Craig shrugged, "Sometimes I do. It depends on what they want us to do and who the other models are. Have you ever seen an Abercrombie catalog?" "No, but I've heard they're slightly...controversial?" "Yeah you could say that," Craig reached over and held his hand. "I'm glad you're coming though. You might have fun." Justin smiled at him. Craig leaned over to kiss Justin's lips as they got off the freeway and Justin backed away a little. "What's wrong?" Craig asked sitting up straight. "Nothing," he said giving a little too much attention to his driving. "Justin, tell me," Craig said touching the man's thigh. "It's just...well I have to be careful in public you know?" "Okay that's fine." "Really? You're not mad?" Justin asked looking at Craig. "No. Babe, I understand that you're career is important to you." "I want you to understand that it's not more important than you though." "I know," Craig said squeezing his hand. Justin smiled at him. "Do people know you're gay at work?" Craig laughed, "Most of the guys I work with are gay. If I wasn't then that would be something to talk about." Justin laughed. Once they got to the beach, Craig went off for wardrobe and make-up while Justin walked around a bit. "Hey," Craig said sitting beside him on the sand. "Hi," Justin said looking at the man. Craig looked even more beautiful than Justin remembered. The make-up made his already flawless skin shimmer in the sunlight. His hair had that messy wave thing going on again. Justin loved his hair. The beautiful man sitting by him had no shirt on and was just wearing small red shorts with white stripes down the sides. His muscular thighs flexed slightly when he leaned back on his elbows. Justin stared at him as Craig stretched out on the sand. His stomach was rock hard and flexed slightly as he breathed. "What's wrong?" Craig asked self-concious of the outfit he had to wear. "Nothing. You just look..." Justin was speechlees. "Do I really look that bad?" Craig asked trying to pull down the shorts a little to cover his bare thighs. "No...you look gorgeous babe. Beyond gorgeous." Craig bit his bottom lip and tried to decipher if Justin was joking with him or being truthful. He smiled when he noticed the lust in his lovers eyes. He leaned back again and licked his lips seductively. Justin smiled. "So, I have a few minutes before the shoot starts," he said running his hand up and down his hairless chest and tight stomach. Justin just stared at him, once again speechless. "Want to do something?" Craig asked teasing the man. He laughed and hit Justin on the chest. "Snap out of it dude." "What?" he asked smiling. "You're hot." "Yeah okay," he said rolling his eyes. "Well I'm yours and you can have me anytime you want alright?" Justin nodded. "Wanna meet some of the guys?" "Sure. Umm..." "I'll tell them you're an old friend." Justin opened his mouth. "No that's not code for lover," Craig said cutting him off. They both laughed and walked over to the set. "Hey guys, this is Justin. He's gonna be hanging out with us for the day." "Hey," the guys said, some just smiled. "I'm Brian, this is Nick, Randy, Chris, and Erik's the guy over there flirting with the 'make-up' artist," Brian said pointing out each guy. Justin nodded. "Okay boys are we almost ready?" said the photographer. "Yeah Greg," Nick said. "I gotta go make a living k?" Craig said. Justin smiled at him and nodded, "You know you're buying me dinner tonight right?" "No way. I'm trying to save up to buy you that Lamborghini." "Sounds good." Craig laughed and walked away with the other guys. "Where the fuck is Chad?" Greg yelled. "If he's not here in five we're shooting without him." The guys stood around for a bit. "Here," the make-up guy said throwing tubes of sun tan oil at them. The guys must have been used to that because they oiled up right away. "Sorry I'm late," Chad said running up to them. "Get dressed and get out there," Greg said slightly angry. In a few minutes Chad was out on the sand dressed in small tight black shorts, hair perfectly spiked, and flawless make-up. Justin noticed the look on Craig's face when Chad walked over to the set. It almost looked like they shared a look. Justin shrugged it off as him just being the jealous boyfriend. Craig looked down at the ground when Chad walked over to him. Chad whispered something in his ear that made the man blush. A wave of jealousy splashed over Justin. He wondered, who the hell this guy thought he was. "So what do you think?" Chad asked Craig. "I'm thinking no," he said rubbing the oil on his chest. "Why not?" Craig rolled his eyes and turned away from the man. "I'll do you're back," Chad said rubbing oil on him. Craig let him finish and thanked him through clenched teeth. "Let's go boys. You and you in the water. Everyone else get out of my shot," Greg said moving towards the ocean. When Greg pointed at Chad and Craig, Justin thought he would have to kill that man. He had a feeling he knew what was coming. Come on, he thought, two hot gay guys in the ocean half dressed? You do the math. Craig and Chad walked into the water. "Okay have fun," Greg said, "Splash move around." The guys did what they were told and soon they both actually looked like they were having fun. The two collapsed on top of each other and then hugged. Greg must have liked this because he didn't say anything he just let the boys do what they did best; look gorgeous. Craig put his arm around the guy and touched his chest laughing. Justin looked at those beautiful eyes squinting from laughter and had to turn away. Either Craig deserved an Oscar for his performance or he really did like this guy. Soon Greg seemed like he was satisfied with the shots and the guys exited the water. Justin could see that Chad was still talking to Craig, but he couldn't tell if the guy was frowning because he was cold or because the other man was getting on his nerves. Craig walked over to Justin grabbing a towel as he went. He started to dry his hair. "So what did you think?" he asked. "You looked good," Justin said looking up at him. "Yeah I don't know about that. It looks cheesy here but the photos come out good. I'll have to show you a catalog sometime." Justin nodded, "Who's that guy?" "Who?" Craig asked turning to look at Justin's target. "Oh Chad?" "Yeah. Are you guys friends?" "We used to be," Craig said drying his legs off. "What happened?" "We dated then broke up," he said shortly, wiping off his chest and abs. "Oh." He threw the towel aside. "I have to go change." "You're done?" "No I have one more shot to take," he touched Justin's shoulder. "You okay?" "Yeah fine," he said smiling. Craig nodded and walked towards the changing tent. Justin noticed Chad walk in after him. He sighed and figured the two would get back together by the end of the day. He should have just stayed home and worked today. Craig did his last shot changed into his street clothes and then jogged over to Justin who was on his cell phone. "Yeah, like at eight or something?" he asked, still on the phone. "Okay. Bye." "Ready?" Craig asked. "Yeah. That didn't take long." "Nope." "Are they always this short?" "Not always. Greg is the best photographer ever and the guys are really professional, so we did it in about a third of the time." They began walking to the car. "So, umm..." Justin said. "Yeah?" "Are you and Chad like..." "Like what?" "Well I saw him talking to you." "Yeah, he did." "And you seemed happy when you were working with him." "Justin it's called acting." "Well you're a great actor," he said unlocking the car. They got in and drove for a while in silence. "So?" Justin said. "What?" Craig asked. "You don't like him anymore?" "No," he turned to Justin, "Do you really think I'd leave you for him?" "Well if you have history with him and stuff, maybe." "I would never do that to you. You're the only man in my life," he held Justin's hand. Despite himself Justin kissed Craig on the lips. "I love you too," he said touching his face. Craig smiled at the affection. When they got back to Justin's house Craig kissed him on the cheek. "I should go," he said. "Do you have to?" "Yeah." "Why? You already worked." "Yeah I know. But I should go home so I can change and stuff." "Okay. Will you be back tonight?" "Do you want me to?" "Of course." "Then I will. What time?" "JC's coming over at like eight to finish up the song." "Alright so...ten?" "Yeah we should be done by ten." "Okay, I'll bring back your clothes too," he said motioning to himself. Justin smiled at him, "No hurry." Craig kissed his cheek quickly. "See you later sexy," he said walking to his motorcycle. "Wait," Justin said. "Take these with you," he threw a key ring at the man. Craig caught it. "What's this?" he asked with a sly smile. "Just a little something for you. Let yourself in when you get here k?" Craig smiled, "Okay." *** Justin buzzed JC up to the third floor when his friend got there. "Hey what's up Jay?" he asked walking in. "Not much. Just waiting for you to lay down your vocals," Justin said turning around in his chair. "Cool. I'm ready." It took JC a few times to get his part right and then they messed around with the music a bit more. Justin glanced up at the clock on the wall. "Hey I gotta go get dressed," he said standing. "Oh okay. Can I talk to you for a sec though?" "Sure, but talk while I dress," he said lifting his hands over his head for a long over due stretch. JC nodded and followed Justin to his bedroom. "So what's up?" Justin asked opening a dresser drawer. "Uh...I don't' know." Justin turned towards him, boxer briefs in hand, and raised his eyebrows. "Okay. So you just wanted to get a peak at me naked then?" he asked laughing. JC's mouth went dry. He tried to swallow but couldn't. "I was joking Jayce," Justin said looking at his friend with concern. "Talk to me." JC took a deep breath and was about to speak when Justin dropped his pants to the floor. JC fell back onto the bed stunned a bit. He had seen his best friend change before, he had seen the man naked actually, but this was different. Justin didn't seem to notice as he took his boxers down and replaced them with the clean underwear. "So?" he said walking into the closet. "What's up?" "Wade," he said. "What do you mean?" "He's...working with me on the new dances." "And?" Justin asked walking back into the room holding hangers in one hand. He threw the clothes on the bed. "And..." JC said wondering how he could get himself out of the hole he just dug. Justin was standing over him looking so sexy in those boxer briefs; he just had to say something. Instead he stood suddenly and placed his lips firmly on Justin's. "Josh, what the fuck are you doing?" Justin asked pushing the man away from him. "I...I just..." JC stuttered. "You just what? You're not even gay man," Justin said wide-eyed. "I know, but I..." JC couldn't continue. He wasn't sure why he kissed Justin. "What's going on with you?" Justin asked moving back from him a little more. JC looked at the man he had shared so many secrets with. Why couldn't he just tell Justin what was going on? He stepped closer to the taller man. "I'm in love with you," he said looking into his eyes. Justin was more then just shocked. His breath caught in his lungs and he thought he would go brain dead from loss of oxygen. "I love you so much Justin," JC said moving towards the man again. JC's eyes focused on the door behind Justin and he frowned. Justin turned around and was surprised by the sight of Craig standing just outside of the room. Craig turned and left descending the stairs two at a time. "Craig wait," Justin said following him. "Why?" Craig asked spinning around, "Do you really have to make a bigger fool of me?" "No. I didn't mean to." "It sure did look like something was going on." "I don't know what that was. JC was just..." "Confessing his love for you?" Justin looked down at the ground, "Well I guess so. But that's not my fault baby." "Don't fucking call me that Justin. I'm not your baby, he's upstairs." "Craig," Justin said touching his shoulder. Craig moved back quickly. "Please. Just don't touch me." "I'm sorry. Let's just sit down and talk okay?" "No. I really don't want to do that." "You can't just throw everything away like this," Justin pleaded. "You did Justin. You threw anything we could ever have away when you kissed him." Justin just stood there. "For wanting to be so secretive about your sexuality, it would seem that you'd learn how to close your curtains," Craig turned and walked towards the front door. "Craig he kissed me, please believe me," he said running after the man. Craig turned around, tears running down his cheeks. "I can't." With that Craig left ignoring Justin's shouts for him to come back. He sped off on his motorcycle not even looking back at the house he lost his lover in. Justin sat down on the steps that led up to his house. The cold cement made him shiver or was it the fact that he would be alone in his bed tonight, he wasn't sure. He covered his face with his hands and cried. He wasn't sure how long he had been sitting there when a hand touched his shoulder. JC sat down beside him. "You're going to catch pneumonia out here," he said handing Justin a jean jacket. Justin just shook his head. "I don't fucking care. I already feel like I'm dieing." "Justin come on. You're overreacting." "Am I?" he asked turning his tear stained face towards JC. "Am I really fucking overreacting Josh?" JC had never seen his friend so angry with him. "I know you hate me right now, but at least put the jacket on." Justin said nothing but just slipped his hands back over his face. JC sighed and draped the jacket over his friend's shoulders. Justin didn't move. JC sighed again, lightly this time, and stood. "Maybe I should go." Justin didn't even look at him. He sniffled a little though. "I don't hate you," Justin said as JC walked away. "Really?" "No," Justin looked up at him. "I could never hate you." JC sat back down again and let his arm rest on his friend's shoulder. "Thank you," he said. Justin looked into JC's eyes and saw the sorrow that lived there. He wasn't sure if the man was just confused or jealous but he wasn't in love with Justin. "Why?" Justin asked. JC didn't have to ask why what. He knew what the question referred to. "I don't know," he said quietly releasing Justin. "I'm so sorry." "He hates me now," Justin said. "No he doesn't he's just upset." "No. He really hates me. You should have seen the way he looked at me," Justin let more tears flow down his cheeks and wiped them off quickly on the jacket. JC sat there wondering what he could say or do to make things better. "Just wait a little while. Let him cool down. He'll understand." Justin just shook his head and looked at him. "He doesn't love me anymore," Justin said. "You guys are in love?" "We were." JC looked at him for a second. "I think I made a big mistake," JC said. "I had no idea you guys were that serious. Justin I'm really sorry." "I just don't understand Jayce. Are you gay?" "I never thought so, but then I couldn't get the idea of you and Craig kissing each other out of my head. Maybe I figured that if you liked it, I would too." "Well?" "You're not a bad kisser or anything, but it didn't do anything for me." "Well great JC, you screwed up my relationship and found out that you're not gay in the process. I'm glad your life isn't screwed up." JC looked at the ground. "I'm sorry," Justin said leaning against him a little. "I'm just upset." "It's okay. I deserve it." "No you don't. I should have been more sensitive to you're feelings. You didn't know how serious Craig and I were and you were just trying to figure out some stuff about yourself." JC nodded. "I can talk to him, if you want. If I tell him what happened he'd have to believe it." Justin shook his head, "No, I'll just try to call him later." They were quiet for a minute. "I do love you man," JC said rubbing Justin's neck. "Yeah I know; I love you too," Justin said. "I'm really sorry I caused all this," JC said. "Stop apologizing. It's not your fault." "Okay well if you need anything at all, call me alright?" he said touching Justin's bare leg. "Yeah," Justin thought for a moment. "You could actually do something for me now." "What?" "Help me inside. I'm freezing my balls off out here." They both laughed and stood from the ice-cold steps. As they walked into the house JC knew he had to do something to help Craig and Justin out. But what? *** As Craig roared down the road on his motorcycle he cursed Justin in his mind. How could the man he thought he loved do something like this to him? Jeremy was right, no one would ever love him the way that man did. He missed Jeremy. The thought of what life would be like without him was almost unbearable. Justin was the only thing that had kept him from feeling like he was going to be alone forever after Jeremy died. God, life was so unfair sometimes. He couldn't break down though, not yet at least. Jeremy needed him to be strong until...until. Tears stung his eyes as he thought about the man actually passing away. His vision got slightly blurry. Just as he ran through a stop sign a truck barreled through hitting his bike and sending the young man flying through the air. *** After JC made sure Justin was stable enough to be left alone for the night, he exited the three-story house into the stinging night air. His cell phone rang, jarring him out of his thoughts of how beautiful and clear the night sky was. "Hello?" "Hey. I have that address you wanted," Lance said. "I knew you would come through," JC said reaching his car. "You have a pen?" "Yeah shoot," he said pen poised over a pad of paper. Lance rattled off the address and they had a short conversation about the quickest route form Justin's house. "So are you going to tell me what all this is about?" Lance asked sitting back in his chair. "I think maybe Justin should tell you." "You can't just wake me up in the middle of the night, tell me you need some models address, then leave me in the dark. It's not right, it's pure evil...it's un-American." JC laughed, "You'll just have to wait until Justin wants to tell you guys okay?" "Fine," Lance said sadly. "And since when is eleven the middle of the night? What guy did you fuck 'til you dropped this time?" "I wish," Lance said laughing. He wasn't offended by the comment JC made. He had made peace with his sexuality a long, long time ago. His friends poked some fun at him occasionally but he didn't mind; it was all done with love. "I've been too busy to do anything with anybody," Lance said. "Too bad. We all know how I love to hear your stories." "Well I won't have to tie you down and tell you about them this time." "Okay, good. I should go now, though. Wish me luck," he said starting his car. "Good luck with what ever it is you're doing and won't tell one of your best friend's in the whole entire world about." "Nice guilt trip." "Any luck?" "No dice. Will you still be up in an hour or so?" "Why?" "I kind of need someone to talk to." "For you, I'd stay up for years." JC laughed, "That won't be necessary. But thanks." "No prob. I'll see you later." "Okay, bye." He hung up and glanced at the address laying on the passenger seat one last time. *** Craig landed with a thud on the ground; about ten feet away form the accident. After having slid a few feet he lay completely still. The truck driver jumped out of his vehicle and ran to the unmoving man. He kneeled down by him and tried to feel for a pulse. The heavy leather jacket and helmet Craig was wearing didn't provide him much luck in finding an artery to touch. Craig moaned slightly and rolled over. "Oh my God," the man said shocked. "You're alive." Craig sat up and took of his dented helmet. He rubbed his head. "Yeah but I feel like shit." He looked down at his torn jacket and blood soaked khakis. Craig limped to the curb with the help of the man. "Thanks," he said still a bit confused. The police and an ambulance were soon there. "I feel fine," Craig said to the EMT. "Sir I should really check out your knee," he said moving towards Craig again. "No. All I need you to do is tell me where my bike is." The man pointed to the middle of the intersection. Craig walked over and frowned deeply when he saw his dented and scarred bike. "Good thing you were wearing your helmet son," said a police officer. Craig nodded as he remembered the big dent that would have obviously been in his head if not for the helmet. Craig sighed and wondered how much worse his night could get. Once the tow truck arrived on the scene, Craig hopped in and gave the man directions to his house. "Pretty bad accident," the tow truck driver said. Craig looked at him. He guessed the man's name was Bill by the embroidered nametag on his overalls, but he didn't really care. He just wanted to go home and take a long shower. They dropped the bike off at a shop a few blocks away from Craig's apartment. "I'll walk," he told the tow truck guy. As he walked up to his apartment, crushed helmet under his arm, gloom set in over his face once more. Although it was almost midnight, it was like the sun had just set in Craig's eyes. They narrowed in on the figure sitting on the step in front of his door as he got closer. "Hey," Chad said hopping up. "What are you doing here?" Craig asked thrusting his key into the lock. He shuddered as he pictured the lock being Chad's eyeball; he could be really morbid sometime. "I came to see you," Chad said shrouded in darkness. Jack, the landlord, never fixed the light by Craig's door. Jack never fixed anything. Craig wasn't even sure he could even if he wanted to. "No shit Sherlock," Craig said standing in his now open dark doorway. "Must have had a late night? I've been waiting for a while now." "Oh I'm so sorry, if I'd known I would have never came home," Craig said with a mock apologetic tone. "So are you going to invite me in or do I freeze out here?" Craig thought a moment actually contemplating the last scenario. He figured a car accident and a murder in the same night couldn't be good for his reputation with the Orlando Police Department. Craig walked away from the door and flipped on the ceiling light. Chad smiled as he walked into the small apartment. Nothing had changed since he was last there. Craig had a thing about furniture; he didn't own any. There wasn't one end table, coffee table, bed, lamp, chair, or anything throughout his entire apartment. The only way to tell that anyone actually lived there was the huge canvases that covered every wall. Some were painted, others weren't. The floor was covered with a white sheet to save the carpet from splattered or spilt paint. Chad hoped over a bucket of paint and just barely missed a pallet still wet with blues and yellows. While Chad played hopscotch in the living room, Craig threw his keys and cell phone on the kitchen counter. "Shit Craig," Chad said looking up at the ceiling. "Jack's gonna fuckin' kill you when he sees that." Craig smiled at the disapproval on the man's face then looked up at the ceiling. He had gotten this idea about three months ago, right after Jeremy was rushed to the hospital. For some reason the sick man didn't want Craig around; instead he came home and took his frustrations out on the ceiling. He had always been a big fan of the sixteenth chapel and wanted to create his own. The mural he did took him a little over a month. He frowned when he couldn't remember if he had even slept in that time. He must have; he wasn't sure how long someone could go without sleep, but a month seemed pretty long. Craig had been standing in deep thought just long enough for Chad to notice the huge blood stain on his friend's pants. He saw a trail of blood that Craig had left from the door to the place he stood now. It looked like paint but Chad knew better. "What the hell happened to you?" he asked grabbing Craig's bleeding hand. "What?" Craig asked dazed a bit, "Oh that. I was in an accident." "Oh my God. It looks like you need stitches." Craig wrenched his hand away. "I do not. What I need is to be left alone," he said hoping the man would take the obvious hint. Chad did not. He instead walked into the bathroom. "Where do you keep the band-aids?" "I don't have any," Craig said. Chad came out of the small restroom shaking a cardboard box at the man. "What are these?" Craig shrugged, "Well thanks nurse. Now you can leave." "Just let me help you," Chad said. He seized Craig's hand again but this time the man followed him. They stood in the kitchen while Chad gingerly washed off the blood and the abrasion on Chad's hand. "Why weren't you wearing gloves?" "I forgot them," Craig said rolling his eyes. Chad sighed, "I didn't see any rubbing alcohol in the bathroom." "So?" "Do you want an infection and for your hand to fall off?" Craig laughed at the man. He always could overreact when times got hard. "Here," Craig said handing the man a bottle of Vodka from the freezer. "That's all you probably have in there huh?" "I don't think it's any of your business what I have." Chad snatched his hand again sending a small pain through the nerves. He washed the wound out with the alcohol and placed a clean towel around the hand. "The cut's really deep so hold this on there while I fix your leg." Chad reached towards Craig's pants to unbutton them. Craig stepped back. "I think I can do this part," he said coldly. Chad shrugged. Craig walked to the bathroom holding the bottle of alcohol. Chad followed him. Craig turned and looked at him. "What are you doing?" "I was going to help you fix your leg." "I can do it myself." "Stop being a child." "I don't even want you here!" he screamed suddenly. Chad blinked rapidly as his ears rung from the loud shout. Craig took a deep breath. He leaned against the sink for a second when his leg started to feel like it was on fire. Tears welled up in his eyes as the shock wore off. He struggled with his belt, the hurt hand hindering him more than he thought it would. Chad reached for him, but was denied once more. "Seriously, Craig. Let me help you," he said sternly. The hurt man complied with a slight nod. Chad unhooked the belt and let the khakis fall to the floor. He helped Craig step out of them slowly being careful of his leg. Craig sat on the counter as the man washed the blood off of his leg. "I can do it," Craig said rudely. He snapped more because of the pain then the fact that Chad was helping him and/or touching him. There was a swift knock at the front door. "Who the fuck is it?" Craig yelled at the top of his lungs. "I'll go get the door," Chad said slightly weary. Craig poured Vodka on a towel and dabbed at the large cut on his leg. He could hear the low rumble of inaudible voices in the living room, then the front door closed. Maybe someone snatched Chad out of the apartment and was kind enough to close the front door for him, he thought. A polite kidnapper would be an interesting twist to his already bizarre evening. He shrugged to himself and figured that he was thinking crazy because of a loss of blood. "Who was it?" he asked when he heard movement in the doorway. He kept looking down at his knee, still cleaning it. "Hi," JC said quietly. Craig looked up at the unfamiliar voice. "What do you want?" he asked once the shock wore off. "I just wanted to talk to you. I'm sorry I came over so late." Craig said nothing; but continued to clean off his leg. "Are you...um...okay?" JC asked looking at the blood oozing out of Craig's cut. "Yeah I'm just peachy," he said sarcastically. "Look Craig. I know what happened at Justin's house came to a surprise to you; it surprised him too. Fuck, I surprised myself." "Great so everyone's fucking surprised. What's your point?" "I just wanted to tell you that it wasn't Justin's fault. I kissed him and he pushed me away as soon as I did." Craig continued to clean his leg but his heart stirred slightly. "He loves you Craig. He loves you a lot." Craig looked up at him. "Why should I believe you?" "I'm telling the truth here. What would I have to gain from you two getting back together?" Craig thought a moment. "I guess nothing," he said. "Exactly." "Are you in love with him?" Craig asked pointedly. JC looked at the ground. "I do love him but no, I'm not in love with him." "Then why'd you kiss him?" Craig asked placing band-aids over his now clean wound. "I was curious I guess." "And you're not curious anymore?" "No," JC said smiling a bit. "I'm actually happy." "Why's that?" "Well my best friend found love. What's there not to be happy about?" Craig smiled a little too. "Do you think he's a good kisser?" Craig asked. JC shifted his weight from his right leg to his left. "He's okay." "Just okay?" JC laughed, "Like I told him, I've had better." Craig laughed, "I guess I won't take offense to that one." JC smiled. This guy wasn't as bad as he thought he would be. Craig jumped off the counter, "If you'll excuse me, I think I have a phone call to make." Craig walked JC out and closed the door behind the man. He turned around glaring at Chad who was sitting on the floor. "How do you feel?" he asked. "Better. Now you can leave," he said walking towards the bathroom. "We didn't even get to talk," Chad said standing and following him. "Fine. Talk quickly." Craig turned to the man and crossed his arms over his chest, being careful of his hand. "I miss you," Chad said. Craig was silent. "I just wanted to tell you that. We might be working together again, and I didn't want things to be weird." "Why are you working for Abercrombie then?" Chad shrugged, "They offered me a job." "Did they Chad or did you beg for one?" "Why would I do that? I've been working for Versace and Prada since I left." "Exactly. So why Abercrombie?" "I wanted to see you." "That's what I thought," he said. "Please give me a second chance baby." "Why the fuck would I do that? Is it just me, or aren't you the same guy who cheated on me!" "I know, I'm sorry. It was a huge mistake." "Well I've heard that one before." "Please," Chad begged. "Let me prove it to you." Craig stepped closer to the man. "GET OUT," he said emphasizing each syllable. Chad stood there looking angrier than Craig had ever seen him. He clenched his fists slightly. "What are you going to hit me again?" Craig asked. "You know that wasn't my fault, I was drunk." "So the alcohol just jumped into your mouth?" "No...but I..." "Get the fuck out of my house Chad," Craig said turning away from him. "Fine, but this isn't over," Chad yelled after him. "Like hell it's not," Craig said turning back around. Chad turned and Craig watched the man slam the front door closed. "My neighbors sure as hell are loving me tonight," he said under his breath. Craig sighed and then started cleaning up the bathroom. He missed Justin like crazy. He needed him. He walked into the kitchen and sat back on the counter, cell phone in hand. He turned it on and checked his messages. There were two from Justin. He smiled when he heard the man's voice. "Craig," the first message said, "I'm so sorry about everything. It was just a huge misunderstanding. Please call me so we can talk." "Hey, it's me again," said the second message. "I know you hate me and everything, but I really think we should talk about it. Please, please call me Craig. I miss you so much. I love you baby." Craig couldn't take it anymore, a single tear dropped from his eye and rolled down his cheek. He wiped it away immediately and sniffled a bit. He quickly scrolled down the names in his phone book and chose Justin's. "Hello?" Justin said picking it up on the first ring. He could hear his heart pounding in his ears as he spoke. He couldn't believe Craig had actually called him. "Hey," Craig said leaning back against the cabinets. "I'm glad you called," Justin said after a slight pause. "Yeah. Me too." "Really?" "Uh huh. JC stopped by," he said casually. "What? At your house?" "Yeah." "Fuck! What did he say?" "Only good things Justin." "Like?" "Like how he was the one who kissed you. An about how much you love me." Justin smiled, "Well that's all true." "I know that now." "I'm sorry." "It's okay. It was just a humungous misunderstanding," Craig said laughing. "I love you." "I love you too. Will you come over?" "Definitely." Justin got directions to Craig's apartment and promised to be there in twenty minutes. *** JC got to Lance's house at about 1:30 am. For having been so tired on the drive over, he was now full of energy and ready to talk to someone. Streaking down the street in his Jag had cleared his mind a lot. Gay, bi, straight; he wasn't sure yet, but he did know that he didn't like Justin "in that way." Despite himself, he smiled when he knocked on Lance's door; he knew his long time friend would be able to straighten his life out for him. Lance wasn't necessarily JC's best friend of all time like Justin, but he did respect the man and knew that if anyone would understand what he was going through, it would be Lance. Lance opened the door yawning a bit. He didn't greet JC with words, but more of an all-knowing look. JC always wondered how such a young man could look like he had been around for such a long time. Joey had told them that Lance just had an old soul. JC had always dismissed it as being one of the many stupid things Joey said all too often; but now staring at the sleepy man in pajama pants, JC had a new profound way of looking at him. Lance stepped aside from the door and JC entered after a small hand gesture from the blonde. "So?" Lance asked stretching his toned arms towards the ceiling. "I need to talk to you," JC said looking intently at his friend. Lance saw the seriousness on JC's face and nodded. "Are you spending the night?" he asked leading the way to the living room. "I'm not sure. Why?" JC said sitting on the couch. "If you were then we could talk upstairs. I need to lay down." "Yeah that's fine," he said walking towards the antique spiral staircase. Once upstairs Lance lay on his bed with his hands behind his head staring at the ceiling. JC changed his clothes in the bathroom; all the guys kept spare changes of clothes at each other's houses, and then walked into the room. He flipped off the ceiling light and sat next to Lance. He turned his head and looked down at the man whose eyes were now closed. The light from the lamp on the nightstand reflected off of his face perfectly. His pale hair shinned in the gentle glow. Lance's eyes opened and he looked at the man next to him. He turned and faced him. "So tell me what's going on Jayce," he said smiling slightly. JC leaned back, his head resting on the headboard lightly. "Well, I guess I should start from the beginning, but do me a favor k?" "What?" "You have to promise not to tell Justin or any of the other guys what I'm going to say to you. He wanted to tell you guys himself." Lance nodded, "Is it really that serious?" "Yeah. It is." JC relayed what he knew about Justin's newfound feelings about the same sex to Lance. He mentioned the new man in Justin's life as well. "Why don't you seem surprised?" JC asked when Lance just laid there after hearing bizarre news about his friend. Lance smiled, "I already knew." "How? He told you?" "No. I just knew." "Don't tell me you're chocking this one up to gaydar." Lance laughed. "If that word helps you understand the situation then sure. I'm glad he's happy and has found someone though." JC nodded. "So is there anyone else in the group that you've pegged as being gay?" Lance looked at him silently for a moment. "I don't know, are there?" he finally asked. JC blushed slightly and looked at the bedspread that covered him. He wasn't nervous or even embarrassed at the question; it was more the way Lance asked it and the look in his eyes. Lance lay there silently, waiting for JC to answer his question. He had known for a while now that the man was gay. If it wasn't because he was always stealing small glances at their new assistant or some other equally hot younger man, it was because he never dated. At least not like he used to. After a night out, or in as the case may be, with some hot little thing, JC was always bragging the next day. Within the last year or so all of that had changed. Everyone presumed it was just JC growing up and concentrating more on his career than on girls. Lance was the only one to see the lack of interest in the opposite sex for what it really was. JC finally met the cloudless hazel gaze. Lance winked at him and smiled. "You already know what I want to talk to you about don't you?" JC said slowly, trying to pick the best and fewest words to get his point across. Lance nodded, "Yes. But I'd like you to tell me anyway." "I think I'm gay, or at least bi," JC spit out. There was silence for a second as Lance waited for the man to continue. When he said nothing, the younger of the two spoke. "How do you feel about that?" Lance asked. He knew it was a stupid question but it was all he could think of. His heart raced when he realized exactly what this meant. He could finally tell JC how he felt about him. Since the day the two men had met they shared some sort of bond. JC had probably just thought it was a tight camaraderie but Lance knew better. It was love. JC shrugged, "I don't know. A little relieved I guess. I finally know who I am." Lance nodded, "Have you told Justin?" JC looked at him, "I kind of think that he knows already. I kind of kissed him." "Oh," Lance said. JC mine as well had jammed his hand into Lance's chest and pulled out his still beating heart, letting the blood splash all over the room. Kicking it into the trashcan JC said, "At first it didn't feel like anything but now that I think about it, I really liked it." Lance watched JC stare off into space as he daydreamed about his kiss with Justin. It took Lance's entire being not to jump up and smack the man in the face, yelling at the top of his lungs, "LOVE ME DAMNIT!" "Anyway," JC said shaking him self out of the erection provoking thought. "Justin is in love with someone else, so I'll just have to pine away at him from afar. God, Lance you have no idea how this feels." Lance just stared at him. "Do you think I should just leave them be?" "Well," Lance said his deep voice cracking a bit. "Are you in love with Justin or was it just a nice kiss?" JC thought a moment, "I'm not in love with him. But I could definitely see that happening on day." "I don't think you should break up an already obvious loving relationship for a what if." This wasn't Lance's jealous side talking, he was genuinely trying to give his friend good advice. JC nodded, "You know you're right. I'm sure I'll find the right guy for me one day too." He smiled at Lance and leaned down to kiss him. Lance closed his eyes praying that JC had come to his senses. When he felt the moist soft lips on his cheek he sighed quietly. "Mind if I sleep in here tonight?" JC asked reaching to turn off the light, "I don't really feel like being alone just yet." "Sure," Lance said turning his light off as well. They lay there together, their bodies not touching at all. JC's arm was the only thing close to Lance but he still savored the heat he felt radiating off of it. He wasn't sure how long he lay there concentrating intently on the warmth. He could remember every time that JC and himself had shared a bed. In the beginning when the group was still pretty new they had shared all the time. Now not so much, but occasionally JC would stumble to his bed in the middle of the night if they were on tour or something. It felt nice to be this close to his friend again. JC turned over in his sleep and let his armrest over Lance's chest, moving just a little closer to the singer. Lance's body tingled all over. There was no way he could go back to sleep now. The straining in his genitals was too much for him to try and ignore. *** After taking a long overdue shower and changing his clothes Craig stood in his bare living room staring at one of the blank wall canvases. He hadn't painted in about a month and he missed it deeply. Creativity surged through his body when he picked up the cold paintbrush that lay to one side of a box filled with tubes of paint. He sat cross-legged on the ground and went through the box, finding all of the colors he would need. Once they were mixed and placed on the large pallet in front of him he smiled to himself. He reached for a pencil sitting in his art supplies box and went to work sketching, what he thought to be his greatest work of art in a long time, on the canvas. He was about half way through the sketch when he heard a soft knock at the door. He stepped back from the large white board and looked up at the picture he had just outlined. He let the pencil fall out of his hand and onto the sheet covered floor. "Hi," he said to Justin when he opened the door. Craig almost blushed a little when he met the man's eyes. It was almost as if this was their first meeting all over again; but even more awkward then that had been. "Hey," Justin said stepping into the miniature apartment. Craig noticed him glancing around the room at his new surroundings. "Sorry I haven't cleaned up in a while," Craig said frowning at the mess he had made with the paints less than a half an hour before. "It's okay. You never told me you paint," he said looking around the room. Craig shrugged, "It relaxes me." "It looks like you're really good," he said flipping through smaller finished canvases that were laid against one wall. "Thank you," Craig said softly. He knelt back down by his paints and started to push them out of the way a little. "Don't do that," Justin said. "You don't have to clean on my account." Craig let his hands dropped to his sides but then picked up the pencil. "What happened to your hands?" Justin asked concern crossing his face. "I just had a little accident." "How? What happened?" he asked taking the bandaged covered hands in his. "I got into an accident on my motorcycle tonight." "Oh my God. It was because of me and JC huh?" "No, I ran a stop sign. It's okay Justin, really." Justin looked down at his hands and brought them up to his lips, kissing them very softly. "I'm sorry," he said. "Please stop apologizing." Justin smiled at him and nodded. "I think I can do that." He noticed that the huge white board behind Craig had small pencil strokes on it. "What were you drawing?" Justin asked trying to make something of the light gray lines. "Oh it's nothing," he said turning to face it. "Just something I was thinking of." Justin walked up close to it, careful not to step on any painting materials. He let his finger trace just millimeters away from the canvas over the gray lines. "Tell me what it is," he said turning around with a grin. "It's you," Craig said. "What? Really?" "Yeah. The other night while you were sleeping your face looked so sweet and innocent but your body, well...it looked so adult, so erotic. I just wanted to try to capture that on paper." Justin looked back at the mural sized board. "If you don't like it," Craig said quickly, "I'll paint something else." Justin turned back to him with the biggest smile Craig had ever seen on the man. It instantly made Craig's mouth turn into a grin as well. "I love it," he said. "Were you just doing it from memory?" "Well yeah. You weren't here to model for me." "I'm here now," Justin said taking a step towards the man. "Are you sure?" Craig asked squinting slightly. "Let me be your model this time," Justin said taking the man's hand in his own. He held the intertwined hands to his heart. Craig smiled and nodded. "What do you want me to do?" Justin asked. "Um...well..." Craig hesitated looking around the room. "Tell me." "Take off your clothes, I guess," he said with a small shrug looking at the ground. Justin looked at the man that was usually so quick witted and smiled. Craig had always seemed to have the right words to say but now he was so unsure of himself. Justin hugged him, taking the other man by surprise slightly. Craig let his arms hold Justin around the waist. They said nothing but stood there hugging one another for a moment. When Justin released Craig the man was smiling a devilish grin. He knew he had his old Craig back now. "Need help with those clothes sexy?" he asked in Justin's ear. Justin trembled slightly at the thought of the man undressing him again but shook his head 'no'. "Follow me," Craig said. Justin did so and they ended up in a small room off of the living room. Justin supposed it was Craig's bedroom although there was no bed. Even though the lone mattress was made up like a bed in the middle of the room, Justin found it odd that there was no frame to it. Now that he thought about it, there wasn't any furniture through out the whole apartment, not that he had seen anyway. He wondered if Craig was actually that poor. The mattress was definitely not the only thing on the floor though. Clothes were strewn all about, as if a very picky hurricane had hit the room in a mad rush to go somewhere classy. He noticed a pair of Armani pants draped over Craig's bed. Justin had talked himself out of buying those same pants just the other day. They looked gorgeous on him but he just couldn't justify such an extravagant purchase. Sure he would pay out of the nose for a classic car, but $2,000 for pants? Not even he had the balls for that one. Craig smiled a little sheepishly, "I haven't cleaned in here either." "I can see that," Justin said laughing. "Well you can change, or strip if you will, in here," Craig said with a suggestive wink. Justin smiled as Craig left the room, shutting the door behind him. While Justin was disrobing in his room, Craig set up a place for the man to lounge while he painted him. With sheets and pillows placed just right, Craig took a step back to look at his work. Justin walked out of the room still in his black boxer briefs. "I wasn't sure if you wanted me completely naked or not," Justin said. "It's up to you." "No it's up to you," Justin argued. "Remember, I'm your model." Craig smiled, "Okay." He walked over to the man and kissed him softly on the lips. He let his hands slide all over Justin's abs and sides. Then with just his thumbs he pulled Justin's underwear down to the ground, squatting down suggestively in front of the now unclothed man. "You know in some work environments, that would have been called sexual harassment," Justin said laughing. Craig laughed. "You're not going to turn me in are you?" he asked pouting slightly. "Give me a raise then I'll think about it," Justin said. Craig looked down between their bodies. "I think I already did." A soft rosy glow highlighted Justin's cheeks as he blushed. "Lay down," Craig ordered kissing the man on his crimson cheek. Justin did as he was told and took his place on top of the sheet-covered pillows on the floor. "How's this?" he asked posing strangely. Craig laughed and shook his head, "We'll work on that." He draped another white sheet over Justin's well-toned form. The light cotton covered just his most private place, leaving the rest of his body exposed to the scrutiny of the man kneeling beside him. Craig fixed the sheet a little more, running his hand along Justin's thigh. "Okay. You're really going to have to tone that thing down a little bit," Craig said smiling while he glanced down at the noticeable bulge in Justin's sheet. Justin laughed, "I just can't do that when you're this close to me." Craig adjusted the sheet slightly to hide it and then stood. He thought for a moment then kneeled back down. "Move your arm up like this under your chin," Craig said showing him what he meant with his own hand and chin. "And you're other one down here on the ground. Raise this leg slightly." Craig stood and backed up a bit again. "Okay. I want you to look out at the ground. Sort of towards me." "Like at your feet?" "Yeah try that." Justin did so. "Perfect. Let your finger slide between your lips slightly, let your teeth rest on it, like you're biting it softly." Justin did that also. "God you're so fucking hot," Craig said with a smile. Just giggled but didn't move out of his pose. Craig took in the large white canvas with his eyes then looked at Justin who was holding his pose expertly. "Am I supposed to be looking like I'm thinking about something?" he asked. Craig laughed, "Yeah you are. Unless you can't fake it, darling." Justin looked up and glared at the man. Craig laughed, "Eyes down Mister." Justin obeyed immediately and Craig could see the laughter wrinkling the corners of his eyes. He smiled and tossed his shirt aside after pulling it over his head. "You don't have to get naked too," Justin said with a smile. "I just don't want to get paint on my shirt silly," he said picking up the pallet. He started to paint over the pencil marks. "You don't have to draw it first?" Justin asked. "I only sketch my paintings first when I have to do them by memory. Since I have you as my live male model, I can start painting." Craig was silent as he worked and Justin motionless. He bit his lip subconsciously as he studied the contour of Justin's chest and abs. "How are you doing?" Craig asked after about twenty minutes. "Fine," he said. "Sure?" "Yeah. It's actually comfortable." Craig laughed, "We'll see what you say in an hour." Justin smiled faintly trying not to move too much. Craig had the entire canvas full of Justin's form in about an hour. "I have good news and bad news," he said standing over Justin. Justin's eyes looked up at him questioningly. "The good news is I'm pretty much done." "So I can move?" Justin asked. "Not quite yet." "Why?" "Cause you haven't heard the bad news yet." "What is it?" "I messed up and I have to do it over." Justin sat up wide-eyed. "You're fucking with me right?" Craig shook his head sadly, "Look for yourself." Justin stood and saw the canvas behind the man. Justin smiled at him, "You little prick." Craig laughed, "You should have seen your face." Justin walked over to the now used board with the sheet pulled around his waist loosely. "Wow. This is awesome." "It's not quite done yet, I still have to shade but that I can do from memory." "It's perfect," he said hugging the man. "It better be, cause you're perfect," Craig kissed him on the lips slowly savoring the sweet taste of the man's mouth. Justin engulfed the man with his arms and kissed him deeper. He pulled Craig down to the ground with him letting the sheet fall from his body. While Justin was running his wet little tongue all over Craig's ear, the man was also running his hands all over his paint splattered abs. Craig giggled as Justin ran his teeth over his neck. Justin kissed the sweet skin then smiled down at his lover. Craig smiled back at him, "Baby, I should go shower." "Why?" "I have paint all over me." "I don't care," Justin kissed his lips again and slipped his tongue in the man's mouth, which left him completely helpless. Justin ran his hands down to the organ straining to be free from the confines of Craig's jeans. He undid the button and the zipper quickly while he made love to the man's mouth. Craig moaned into Justin's warm moist mouth when the man stroked his hard cock. He moaned louder as Justin moved from his mouth down his body, leaving soft wet kisses and firm caresses as he went. Justin stroked him firmly and looked up at the man. Craig's face was contorted into an expression of ecstasy but the man managed to open his eyes when he felt Justin looking at him. They had a small conversation with the lingering look. "Please," was all that Justin needed to hear from those soft sweet lips. Justin leaned down and parted his lips slightly letting his pink tongue dart out and touch the large penis in his hand. He kept stroking it as his tongue started at the base and ran long hard strokes up to the pre-cum glistening head. He licked it, just tasting it slightly. Liking what he tasted he licked harder and then let the stiff member slip into his waiting mouth. He tried to get as much of it into his mouth as possible and choked slightly when he went down too far. Craig ran his hand over Justin's short hair and caressed the scalp lightly with his fingertips. He panted heavily when he felt Justin start to suck on him slowly. He was so hot and so hard. He wanted to shot deep inside of the man's throat. He held back and warned him instead. He didn't want to surprise Justin with something like that. "Oh God baby, I'm gonna cum," he said still rubbing his lovers head. Justin quickened his pace and sucked harder on the throbbing twitching dick. He let his hand slip down and he started to massage Craig's balls firmly. He felt Craig squirm slightly underneath him and then felt the hot wet splash of his lover's seed in his mouth. He swallowed and continued to suck him down from his orgasm high. Craig's breath slowed after a moment and he pulled Justin up to him. Justin loved the way the man looked; a light sheen of sweat glistening on his paint covered upper body. Craig kissed him deeply loving the way his cum tasted on Justin's luscious lips. They continued to kiss as Justin straddled him. Craig could feel the hot pulsing cock against his stomach. He reached down and grabbed it causing Justin to throw his head back in rapture. Justin looked down at Craig who was smiling up at him. He motioned for Justin to come closer to his mouth and Justin did so, scooting up slightly. Justin took his own cock in his hand and started to stroke it slowly, letting Craig watch him. "You're such a tease," the man said wanting to taste the pre-cum that dripped from Justin onto his chest. Being pinned down had its advantages occasionally, but not in this case. "I am not," Justin said letting his dick touch the man's lips for just a second. Craig smiled. "I want to suck you Justin," he said squeezing the man's firm ass in his hands. Justin just smiled down at him, continuing to let his fist drift up and down his cock slowly. "How bad?" Justin asked moaning a little. "I want you to cum in my mouth," Craig said looking into his eyes. Justin let his dick fall down into the hungry mouth of his admirer. He would have loved to tease the man longer but he needed to feel his wet mouth sucking on him. Craig licked and sucked Justin's cock for all he was worth. He loved the man so much and wanted to bring him as much pleasure as possible. While he was sucking him Justin rubbed and squeezed his balls. Craig ran his hand along Justin's ass again, letting one finger massage his hole slowly. Justin's breath caught in his throat and he screamed out as his orgasm ricocheted through his body. Craig sucked harder and relished the feeling of the hot cum squirting into his mouth and the tight asshole around his finger. It felt like Justin would never stop shooting his load into the man's mouth, but Craig wasn't complaining. He kept nursing the dick until it became limp and slipped from his lips, leaving a small drop of cum on his chin. Justin repositioned himself, lying directly on top of his partner. He licked the cum off of him, then kissed Craig's lips and let the strong arms hug him tightly. He kept kissing the man's jaw line and cheek as they lay there on the floor together. "I love you," Justin said between kisses. "I love you too," Craig said. They laid there quietly for a moment thoughts spinning through both of their heads. Justin wondered if this whole thing was ever going to work. He loved the man deeply but they would inevitably be apart for months at a time when he started touring. Craig felt the man tense up slightly in his arms and kissed his forehead, letting his cheek rest on the spot his lips had just left. With that one kiss Craig had erased all of the doubts in Justin's mind. The man sighed heavily letting all of his worries pass out of his lungs and through his sweet lips. They would find away to work everything out, he was sure of it now. After all this is where he belonged. *** In the morning Lance woke up with JC in his arms. He looked at the brunette curiously as he slept. He thought back to the night before and came to the conclusion that nothing happened, but instead JC just needed to be held. Lance was more than willing to comply with the man's wishes. He lay there savoring every moment that passed by, trying to memorize the feeling of the soulful man in his arms. He wasn't sure when, if ever, he would get a chance like this again. JC sighed quietly in his sleep and moved his arm from around Lance's waist. Lance's breath caught in his lungs almost making him choke when he felt the strong arm move and lay lightly on his morning hard-on.
