Date: Sun, 2 Apr 2000 20:35:49 -0700 (PDT) From: Romeo Subject: My Summer with JC This story is completely fictional and not intended to imply anything about the true sexuality of any member of NSYNC. My Summer with JC It was the last day of my senior year in high school and I was just about to turn eighteen. My past year at school had been a rough one and was made worse since I was closeted. I had been fighting with my parents and most of my friends had been distancing themselves since they started to catch on that I was gay. Even though I had been fighting with my parents, they still wanted to do something nice for me. Last winter my aunt, who we weren't very close with, got married to Doug Brown who worked under Johnny Wright, NSYNC's manager. So my parents called Doug and asked him I could intern at Johnny's management company for the summer. He said they didn't have any openings at the offices, but asked if I wanted to be an assistant to the PR manager on NSYNC's summer tour. I told them yes, while trying to hide my excitement. So, in a week I would be off on the road with band and crew. My summer would be so good. A week after graduation I flew out to San Fransisco to meet uncle Doug. As I was exiting the plane and came into the terminal I saw him. "Hey uncle Doug, thanks for picking me up" "Hey no problem Alex, its nice to see you again" We got in the car and started to drive to the hotel in Oakland. It was nice to talk to Doug because we hadn't gotten to know each other too well. He said in the car that he had other work to do besides his duties with NSYNC, so he would be on and off tour. My duty was to be an asistant to the PR manager, Melissa. I was going to share a room with Doug, but since he wasn't going to be there much, I was basically going to have the place to myself for the tour. When we got into our room we put our things down and went over to the next room to meet Melissa who I would be working with for the summer. I was glad to meet her because she seemed pretty nice and fun. After talking with her about what I would be doing with her, I went into my room and changed and then Melissa, Doug, some other crew members, and I got into some vans and drove to the Oakland stadium where NSYNC would be playing. We hopped out of the car and Doug said he had to go find Johnny and check in. Melissa took me to where the band and crew ate dinner. "So Alex, tonight will be pretty busy. I have already checked in the press and fans who won the meet and greet passes. That is something that will happen at every concert we play. But tonight after the show, there will be a party hosted for the group by one of the local radio stations and there will be a lot of press there. Your job will to be help me check in all the press and make sure they have access to the group so they can do interviews and shoot photos. It will be hectic, but fun. Sounds ok?" "What? oh.. yeah. sounds fine" I said. I had been day dreaming about the guys and finally my dreams were going to come true. Melissa and I sat down and started to eat as we went over paper work and our schedule for the upcoming week. As I was checking over some press releases, Melissa said, "Hey Alex, the guys are here. Come introduce yourself" I turned around and there they were. I was a bit schocked. They were so good looking and I had always waited for this moment, even though I never thought this would happen. "Hey," I said. "Im Alex, nice to meet you all" They all said hi. But something was strange. There was only four of them. "Hey, where is JC?" I asked. "Oh, he's here somewhere," Justin said. "There he is! Hey JC, come over here and meet Alex, he is going to be working with Melissa this summer." "Oh cool," JC said as he shook my hand. Our eyes locked briefly and I smiled at him as he smiled at me. "Nice to meet you". "Nice to meet you too," I replied. I was so attracted to him and after he started at me when we meet, I began to wonder if he was really interested in me. I could only hope. more to come.... email me at romeo0099@yahoo.com if you have any questions, comments or ideas. thank you.
