Subject: nick and ashley/the next generation

DISCLAIMER: I don't know any of these bands and am not affiliated with them
or their labels in any way. I'm just a slash fiction writer and this is all
in my fantasy. If homosexual content offends you or is illegal for you to
read then please leave.

The only thing I have remotely in common with these boys is that Ashley
Parker Angel and I were born on the exact same day---August 1, 1981

FIRST THINGS FIRST: What's up everyone...I'm back! I know that many of you
thought you'd never see the day but I couldn't stand being away from this
great place.  You thought this story was over huh? Guess again. This story
will pick up about 16 years after the last one ended and if you couldn't
guess by the title this is going to follow up with their kids and their
futures. Thank you to everyone who never forgot me. My fans never left my
heart, you can trust me on that one.

If anyone gets confused with who a character is, please go back and check
the last chapter of "All I Need Is You" and at the end there's a little
dialogue on what happened to everyone that might help.

In my absence I wrote a short story in the "Young Friends" section of

The Next Generation-Chapter One

"C'mon in Cody. I'm in my room" Johnny Carter yelled down from his window
to his best friend and "cousin" Cody Littrell.

Cody opened the door and began to walk up the stairs when he was hit in the
side with a Nerf ball.

"Nice shot Randy." Nick said as Randy Carter had a smile on his face as
both men sat on a couch in the living room.

"Hey guys." Cody said with a smile.

"What's all this about? You come in and don't give your uncle a hug?" Nick
said as his smile brought out his small goatee that he let grow after a few
years. Of course now they had the buddings of a few gray hairs. Johnny was
18, Randy was 16 and Katie was 13.  The gray hairs were understandable.

"Sorry Uncle Nick." Cody said as he walked over and gave Nick a hug and a
punch in the arm to Randy. Cody was practically a mirror image of his
father Brian. He had auburn colored hair that got light in the summer and
dark in the winter. He had that smile that every girl would die for and
dimples that anyone was jealous of. To top it all of he of course had
Brian's bright blue crystal balls that normal people called eyes.

"What are you guys up to in there? Nothing illegal I hope." Nick said with
a laugh.

"You know us, none of that but it's kind of a secret." Cody said with a shy
face that just screamed out cute.

"I can respect that. Tell your dad I say hi." Nick said.

"You can tell him yourself." Cody said as he pointed to the door where
Brian was standing.  "Later Uncle Nick" Cody said as he run up the stairs.

Brian walked in and gave Nick a hug. These two had never lost the
friendship that they held so close 15 years ago. Brian moved down to Tampa
with Cody, Leigh Ann and their daughter Lisa after his mother, Jackie
passed away. Harold moved in with their father so he figured it was ok to
pick up the family and move closer to his friends.  Cody and Johnny became
even closer and spend a lot of time with each other.

"Hey Nicky, where's Ash?" Brian asked

"Right here." Ashley said as he walked into the room. He embraced Brian and
it was as if all the memories came flooding back to him. He remembered the
first party at Brian's house in Orlando where he got to know Nick
better. He remembered where Brian and Dan were their best men at their
wedding. He remembered how hard Brian fought to help them when the tabloids
found out about their relationship. He truly was a friend to the end.

"How are things guys?" Brian asked.

"Things are good. Can't complain at all." Ashley said as he put some snacks
down in front of Brian.

"Thanks Ash. That's good. So what's the big news?" Brian asked.

"What are you talking about?" Nick asked confused.

"Johnny and Cody told me that there was some big announcement and for me to
come over." Brian said.

"Interesting. We don't know about anything." Ashley said as they all got up
to go to the living room. They were at the bottom of the stairs and about
to call up to their kids when there was a knock at the door.

Nick opened it and saw Erik and Mandy with their son, Kyle followed by Dan
and Devon with their son Sean. Sean and Kyle quickly darted in and up the
stairs saying very quick hellos to their "uncles".

"Something weird is going on here." Brian said.

"Let me guess you were told to come here for some big news." Ashley asked.

"Yup." Erik answered.

"Let's figure this out. John, Cody, Sean and Kyle. Can you please come down
here?"  Nick yelled to the upstairs.

The four teenagers came down the stairs slowly as if they had done
something really wrong and all sat on the same couch as the rest of the
group of parents sat on couches and chairs opposite to them.

"Alright guys what's going on?" Devon asked, his golden blond locks getting
darker over the years.

The site was eerily familiar. They all sat on a couch as if they were
waiting for something. They all looked at one another and Johnny, usually
the spokesman for these four clowns stood up to make the announcement.

"We're starting a band." Johnny said.

"That was the big news?" Nick asked

"It's gonna be a boy band." Sean said, his dark hair but light eyes giving
the same contrast that Dan always used to his advantage.

The room was quiet for a minute or two.

"I guess I should say something since I was always the voice of reason."
Brian began.  "Being in a boy band wasn't the best thing in the world
guys. I mean it had its advantages and all but it was a lot of work and you
open yourself up to a world that is just waiting to get you. It's a big
step and I'm not sure that I can say that I approve."  Brian said.

"I'm afraid we can't let you guys do this. We worked so hard to finally
make a name for ourselves and then settle down. We made this great life for
you guys to enjoy and we just wouldn't want you guys to struggle as hard as
we did at times." Dan said.

The boys looked dejected and began to walk back upstairs. When they got to
the foot of the stairs, Kyle pulled a remote control out of his pocket and
hit the play button. The TV flared to life and a tape began to play. It was
footage from Nick and Ashley's wedding.

It mesmerized everyone in the room. It brought back a flood of memories.
Every person remembered what it was like to finally enjoy a day where the
critics shut up and let them be boys. The happiness on Nick and Ashley's
faces as they leaned in close and you could see Nick mouth the word
"forever" was irreplaceable. Dan looked on and scolded himself for not
supporting these kids. He remembered how he and Devon walked along the
beach that night and he would eventually propose to his future husband
under the moonlight.  Fights with management ensued and he had to fight
even harder than Nick and Ashley did. And now for him to tell these kids to
not follow their dreams was ridiculous.

He looked around the room and saw that everyone seemed to be having the
same thoughts. They all nodded to each other and got up.

"Ok guys, we approve." Nick said.

The boys jumped for joy and ran to hug each one of their parents. It was a
bold move but it was just the start of an excellent adventure, they were
sure of it. The kids had taught the parents something about dedication that
night, a lesson in life that they seemed to forget how dear they used to
hold it in their lives.

"Wait a second. Don't you guys need one more? I mean five was usually the
best way it worked when we did it." Brian said.

The boys faces dropped again as they had obviously not thought of that one.

"I'll do it." Randy, Johnny's younger brother said.

The boys came over and joined each other in a circle hug. It was eerily
reminiscent to all of the parents in the room but they knew that they had
to learn for themselves. The friendships that would come off of it would
obviously never die though, as you can see from this picture. In a way, it
was all worth it.

<<<Later on>>>

"This is awesome C. I can't believe we pulled it off." Johnny said as he
closed his door, as the two got ready for bed. Cody and Johnny slept over
each other's houses all the time so it was nothing new.

"I know I can't wait. I remember my dad telling me stories about touring on
the road. I think we can do it." Cody said.

"Me too. I'm gonna take a quick shower. Be right back." Johnny said.

"Alright." Cody said as he went on the computer and started talking to some
people. As most teenagers do when they're on instant messenger they lose
track of time.  Johnny came in after what seemed to be seconds in just a
towel. His naturally almost platinum blond hair was wet and sticking up in
the air as his towel hung low enough to show off a happy trail of the
lightest brown hair. The rest of his chest was completely hairless.

Johnny dropped his towel and reached for some boxers. Cody always had a
crush on Johnny and it hurt to keep it from him. Johnny got all the girls
in school but never gave a second thought to ditching them to spend time
with Cody. It was a sign of true friendship.

"Hey space junkie, like what you see?" Johnny, completely naked said
knocking Cody out of his trance.

Cody looked frightened that he might fuck things up with his "cousin" and
best friend and now bandmate. Johnny obviously saw this and, still naked
came over to him and straddled him. He leaned in and put his mouth right
next to Cody's ear.

"It's ok. I like what I see too." Johnny whispered in his ear as he began
to kiss the lobes, sending waves of please down Cody's body.

Cody could feel Johnny getting hard, which was an impressive sight to begin
with. He was definitely blood with Ashley and took on some of his finer
points. He was about 7 inches cut, and was now poking against Cody's chest.

Johnny pulled Cody's shirt up over his head and began to work on his
beautiful chest. He started an assault on each of his nipples exchanging
his fingers and lips every few minutes. Johnny got up off of his buddy and
pulled him over to his bed, pulling Cody on top of him. Cody was really
getting off on how submissive Johnny was being.

Johnny reached for the button on Cody's pants and ripped them off, boxers
and all. The first thing Johnny noticed was that his partner was thick,
maybe not as long as he was but definitely thicker.

Cody was really enjoying this and wanted to show Johnny exactly how
much. He began to kiss his way down his naked friend and eventually came to
his package. He began to lick the underside at first and eventually took
the whole thing in his mouth. Johnny wanted in on the action however and
motioned for Cody to swing his legs around and both boys began to 69. It
was an extremely hot scene as the two friends learned on each other's
bodies. Cody was the first to come and Johnny swallowed it all. Just the
taste of his best friend's cum on his lips was enough to push Johnny over
the edge and he let go of all he had in Cody's mouth.

After both boys calmed down Cody swung around and lied down next to Johnny.
He could feel his bud's chest going up and down as he played with Cody's
hair.

"I love you John. As a friend and now even further." Cody said, as he was
always emotional especially with his friends.

"I love you too Code. Let's get some sleep." Johnny said as they both got
under the sheets on the warm but beautiful summer night and fell asleep in
each other's arms.
