Don't know, don't care. This is fiction, i.e. not real. If you have problems seeing any one of the boys gay, leave. If you have a problem seeing one of the boys kiss another boy, leave. At this moment in my life, this story isn't so much fun anymore. After posting the last chapter, I got one response telling me about it. It really makes an author wonder if the story is good enough. I am actually thinking about not doing anymore. I have slipped into a slight depression because of some problems I am having and this story isn't helping much. The more feedback I get, the better I'll feel. It only takes a minute. Onto a different subject. Someone out there nominated me for the Fan Fics Awards 2000. I don't know who did it, but I have been nominated by a fan. To that person or persons, I want to say thank you. 'Premonitions' is a project that I thought would never happen. I am glad that it did, and I am glad that some of you out there think that is it worth a nomination at the FFA2000. If you want to go to the site and look around, the address is: http://www.envy.nu/ffawards2000. The voting won't start until December 8, but you can always look around. Anyway, as usual, my site is up and running, and the next chapter is usually posted there a couple days in advanced of Nifty. If you write me, I will be more than happy to add you to the list and notify you of any updates. If not, check out the site anyway. While you are there, don't forget to sign the guest book. Chapter 13-Slipped Kisses Standing at the door, Lance was wearing a beige sweater that came to about mid-thigh and blue jeans with black combat boots. He had his hands in his pockets as he entered. "I was on my was home, but I needed to stop and see you first." "I'm glad you came. Have a seat," I said as I closed the door. We walked to the couch and he sat. "You want something to drink?" "Coffee?" "Coming right up." I went to the kitchen and started the brewer, then returned to Lance. I sat beside him and started the conversation. "I'm sorry that I scared you. I didn't mean...." "It's ok. I knew you had to do it. We all knew. Josh was really stupid for even attempting it." I nodded my head in agreement. "Since that day, I have been needing to ask why you chose me to find him." "I don't know. Something told me that you needed to be there. I just heard a voice telling me 'Lance'." "But I didn't want to see that. I'm glad that I was able to help, but the fear he gave me when I saw him...I was almost afraid of not getting there in time." A tear started falling down his cheek, which he quickly wiped away. "Anyway," he continued, "how've you been?" "Fine. Josh and I are slowly coming back together. I'm just glad that he still wants to be with me after what I did." "I think you could've shot him in the leg and he would still want you," he said with a smile. "Thank God it didn't come to that. How are the others?" "They're fine. Justin finally got JC going and they've been busy with some song writing. Joey and Chris, well..." "Still the same?" "Yeah," he said laughing. "Good ole Chris and Joey," I said, laughing with him. His laugh quickly faded and he looked away at the door. "Lance, what's wrong?" "Nothing." "Lance," I said in a stern voice. "You really are a bad liar," I said smiling. He chuckled, and then started talking. "I think I'm starting to fall in love again." "Really? That's great," I said with a big smile. "Not really." "Huh?" I had a puzzled look on my face. "Why not?" "Because I know I can't have him." "Lance, I know your still in love with Josh and....." "I am not," he said cutting me off. "Lance, I'm not the only one who knows this. Justin does, too." "What?" he asked, almost scared. "Justin knows. He knew when you two were together. He saw the way you two looked at each other. He knew ya'll were in love and he knows you still love JC by the way you still look at him." "I never knew that he found out." "He did. He's cool with it. He actually wished it could've worked for you two." "I didn't know it still showed." "I figured that's why you were angry at me when the tour started back. You didn't want me around Josh so you could get him back." "I wouldn't do that to you and him. That wasn't the reason I was acting like a bitch. And besides, it's not JC that I falling for." I sat up straight and muttered, "Oh. I'm sorry, I thought you were." "It's ok." "Who is it? Do I know him?" He shook his head no. "If you're falling in love then why isn't this a good thing?" "Because, he's already in a relationship. I want to tell him so bad, but I don't want him to hate me. I don't know what to do." He lowered his head in pain and placed it in his hands. He started crying. I moved closer and put one hand on his back and the other on his knee. "Maybe it won't work out, Lance. Maybe you'll have a chance with him." I didn't know what else to say, so I thought some hope would help. "He's gonna be with this guy for a long time," he cried through his hands. "There is no hope for me. I'm always gonna be alone." I pulled him to a hug and he just sobbed on my shoulder. I just held him and felt him wrap his arms around me. He needed and deserved to be loved by someone. Whoever was with Lance would probably be the luckiest guy around. Over my shoulder, I heard him talking. I couldn't understand everything, but heard something that caught my attention. "I'm not bi." I pulled him back to look at his green eyes and asked what he was talking about. "I'm not bi, Monty. I've never been with a girl. I'm gay. I want to live my life with a man that'll love me for who I am," he said, tears still running down his cheeks. "Why did you tell me you were bi, then?" "The guys don't know. After Josh came out, I didn't want to fess up completely, so I told them I was bi. After Joey's reaction to JC, I was afraid of rejection from the rest. So that's what I told them." He started forming tears again, so I took him back to a hug. He quietly cried on my shoulder while I stroked his back. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't find the right combination of words to say, so I said nothing. I just held him. After a few minutes, he pulled back and looked into my eyes. We stared at each other, not knowing what to do. I reached over closer to him. I tried to tell myself that I was back with JC. I didn't need to do this, but the more I thought, the more my mind got confused. I leaned in closer and our lips met. Lance was waiting for me and he started kissing me back. We kissed for a few minutes before my mind cleared itself and realized what I was doing. I pulled away and quickly stood up. "What did I do?" "I'm sorry, Monty. I didn't mean..." "I'm the one that should be sorry." I saw his face fall a bit. "I mean, it was great, but I'm with JC. I can't just go around kissing anybody." Looking at the floor, he said, "I know. I should've pulled away but I couldn't" "Me either." I stepped away and went to the kitchen. I pulled down two mugs and poured the coffee. Lance had followed me in. "Monty, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do it." Looking at Lance with a smile, I said, "Don't worry about it. As long as he doesn't find out right away, he'll be fine." I started feeling better that we kissed. I don't know why, but it sort of soothed me. He had stopped crying. We sat in the kitchen and drank our coffee and just talked some more. He was telling me about he guy he liked without giving me much detail. "He's funny. He's smart." "Is he cute?" "Oh, yeah. He treats his lover like a king. You can see the love practically shielding them from the world. I just wish I was his lover." "Ya never know, Lance. Ya never know." I took a sip of coffee and looked at Lance. He was thinking of the possibilities. After our coffee, Lance walked over to the piano. "You play?" I asked. "Some. JC is the player in the group. I mess with it sometimes." "Play something for me, please?" "I don't know. I don't play that much." "Please?" I asked giving my best puppy dog face. He sat on the bench and lifted the cover to the keys. "Play something I haven't heard. Something new." "Let me see." He thought for a moment then finally found one. "Remember, I'm not the best, so I may forget or screw up." "That's fine." I leaned up against the curve of the piano and leaned in as he started. After a few bars, I stood back up and listened. When he was through, I asked where he got that song. "JC's been playing it a lot and I just picked it up." "I wrote that." "You wrote this?" "Yeah. I played it for JC when we got back from Jamaica." "He's 'bout drove us crazy with this song. It's beautiful, yes, but he played it nonstop when you left. Now I know why." I just smiled. "Well, I better head for Mississippi. I told the guys I was going home. If they call, I really need to be there." "Do you have your cell phone with you?" "Yeah. Why?" "Stay tonight. It's getting late anyway. We could go to the restaurant. Tony and Mitchell would love to see you. Plus you can stay here, get some rest, and drive back tomorrow." "I don't know," he started. "I really ought to be on my way." "C'mon. I can't stand to think of you on the road in the dark. You can get started early in the morning." After a few minutes of thinking and a few more puppy dog faces, he finally accepted the offer. He called his mom and told her that if the guys call to tell them that he was out with friends and to have them call on the cell. He told her that he would be there tomorrow and hung up. We piled into Lance's 4-runner and headed to the restaurant. As always, Tony and Mitchell were happy to see Lance, along with some of the staff. The restaurant was a bit slow that night, so Lance seemed to feel better about everything. Tony and Mitch took their dinner breaks and ate with us. We had some great conversation. Lance even laughed a few times. He was going to be fine. Like I said earlier, whoever gets Lance will be very lucky. After dinner, we headed home. We told Tony and Mitch that we would see them later and before leaving, a few of the staff asked for Lance's autograph. He happily agreed and one girl had a friend bring a camera. I took the picture and Lance seemed to get even brighter. I was happy that he was feeling better. Once at home, Lance and I were both yawning climbing the stairs. I told him that he could sleep in the spare room and opened the door for him. "Oh, shit. I guess not. I forgot Mitchell was packing a few things up for the winter and he was using this room for storage until he could clean the basement." Closing the door, I looked at him. "You can either use the couch or sleep with me. I don't care either way." "Would you mind if I slept with you? I don't think my back could take a couch tonight." "No problem. Just lemme change the sheets first." "Don't worry about it. I'm just going to take a shower in the morning anyway. I don't mind." "You sure?" "Yeah." "OK, then. Why don't you get ready for bed and I'll go and get us a drink? Coffee or hot chocolate?" "Hot chocolate. Got any marshmallows?" "Yeah? You want some?" "Please," he said to me smiling. "Be back in a minute." I walked down the stairs and headed for the kitchen. About ten minutes later I returned with two cups of hot chocolate. Lance's had marshmallows, mine didn't. When I walked in, Lance was already under the covers. He was sitting against the headboard with the covers pulled to his waist. He didn't have on a shirt and he looked so delicious sitting there flipping through the magazine he was reading. "I usually sleep in my underwear. It that ok with you?" "Fine with me," I said as I handed him his cup. "Careful, it's hot." He took it from me and sat it on the nightstand. I put mine on the other nightstand and started getting undressed. My back was to Lance so when I pulled my pants off, I noticed that I was a little excited. Thank God he didn't. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. After willing myself to calm down, I opened the door and quickly walked to the bed. I pulled the covers back and hopped under them before anything suddenly popped up. When I pulled the covers up, I noticed that he was wearing black boxer briefs. He looked so sexy. I needed to get my mind off of him. He was really starting to turn me on. I reached over and grabbed the remote and started flipping through until I found the news. We just watched and made a few comments about the world today and finished our drinks. I reached up and flipped the light off and we started off to sleep. In the night, I woke up and felt Lance's arm around me. This time I knew it wasn't JC, so I grabbed his arm and held him close. 'JC wouldn't mind,' I thought. 'If he ever found out.' The next morning, I woke up to an empty bed. I looked around letting my eyes focus and found a note on the nightstand. I picked it up and rubbed my eyes to wake up. Monty, Man, what a way to wake up. You were holding me close. It was a nice feeling. Don't worry, I won't get used to it and JC won't find out. Not by me, at least. Anyway, thanks again for letting me stay. I guess I needed the rest after all. I got myself a sandwich for breakfast, hope you don't mind. Hope to see you soon. Love, Lance I just smiled and went to get my shower. Afterwards, I walked down and Tony and Mitch were eating breakfast. "Want some?" Mitchell asked. "Nah. I'm not hungry. Just excited." "Why? Did you get lucky last night?" Tony asked with a smirk I stopped before getting to the kitchen and looked back and yelled no. "Sorry, I just thought you might have," Tony said, smiling. I turned back around and went to get me a cup of coffee. Coming back in the room, I asked," What made you think that, Tony?" "I don't know. You've had sex with one that we know of. You've slept in the bed with two of them and you've had your head in Justin's lap, lucky bitch. I just thought you were getting freaky on us." Mitchell started laughing and Tony soon joined him. I was just smiling, thinking to myself, 'I wish'. The next few days seemed to drag on and on. I was getting excited about the ninth. I couldn't wait to see JC. I just about drove Tony and Mitchell crazy. The seventh finally came and we started our journey to Chicago. Pat and Steve came over from Cincy and they brought their SUV so we decided to take that. It had enough room for all of us and the luggage. We didn't want to fly because it would've cost too much at the last minute. So we opted for driving. "What's the show about?" Steve asked. "I'm not sure. I think it's about some new high tech homes. Bill Gates type of houses. But like I said, I'm not sure." Great. I have to sit through a boring show that had no interest to me whatsoever. And to top it all off, I wasn't going to be with JC tomorrow. I so wanted us to be together. Two more days, I kept saying to my self. Two more days. We finally arrived at the hotel and got checked in. We got settled and went out for dinner. Everyone went to bed early saying as soon as they wake up the show would only be hours away. I wanted to sleep for two days so that when I woke up, I would be on my way to see Josh. I was a little nervous, but very excited at the same time. Without consulting me, Tony reached over and turned the light out leaving me no choice but to go to sleep. Pat and Steve got the room next to us and we all went to bed around 9:00 pm. I wanted to explore the city some, since the last time I was there I seemed to be unconscious. I soon gave in to Tony's whining about the show and turned over and told them goodnight. The next day arrived and Tony was up with the sun. He was so excited. I wasn't feeling up to going, but I knew he wouldn't let me out of it. I decided to try anyway. After Pat and Steve came over, I told them that I didn't feel like going. They just looked at each other with sort of a worried look. Pat finally snapped out of it and told me that I was coming. "But I'm not gonna listen to anything. I'm just too excited about tomorrow. You can give my ticket to someone else. "We will not. I don't want to sit next to someone off the street," Tony added. "Your gonna do that anyway," I told him. "The audience will be filled with strangers." "Well, I'm not gonna sit next to someone I don't know. I'm gonna plant my happy ass between two of you." Mitchell just laughed, breaking the tension. "Your coming and that's that," Tony told me. I caved and made no other protests. I told you they wouldn't let me out of it. I gave it my best shot thought. Anyway, we went to get some breakfast then waited for the show to start. We arrived at the studio about five minutes before the show was to start. Tony took forever to get ready. He's usually the first or second one done, but today, it took him longer than usual. If I didn't know any better, I would've sworn that he was stalling. Anyway, when we got there, the studio execs took our tickets and told us where our seats were. We walked in the studio and noticed that the crowd was awfully young for the topic of the show. We found our seats. Back row center. When we were seated, I leaned over to Tony and asked, " Are you sure it's about high tech homes?" "Yeah, I think so. Why?" "Look at the audience. They look a bit young, don't you think?" "I think it is, I don't know. Just hush up and watch. It's about to start." I just looked back at the stage and noticed the curtains were moving. Someone was walking behind them. Again, nothing unusual seemed out of place except the audience. The theme music started and the audience started cheering. Oprah walked out and started the show. "Today was a last minute decision. We have something special planned for you with what time we had to plan it in. Our show today is how music can change your life. We have some special guests to help us out." The audience, again, started cheering. I just looked at Tony, confused. He just smiled and pointed back to the stage. "To me," she continued, "music is part of my life. Without it, the world would be very dull. I can be sittin at home and feeling down and hear a song that takes me back to a better time. Then I'm bouncin' around the house in high spirits again." She stifles a small laugh. "Or if you have that special someone in your life and you hear that special song, it takes you back to when the two of you first heard it. Am I right?" The audience cheered in agreement. "Music means a lot to different people. Our guests today will be performing songs that some of you may know and some songs that some of you may have never heard of. Believe me, all the songs are great. The songs that they will perform mean something special to them and we'll talk to them after they are done. So without any more time...the first song please." The audience stood and I just looked around. After the music started, I noticed that I did recognize the song. It was my song. The one I wrote in high school. The one I played for JC. I quickly stood up and looked over the row in front of me and saw them. JC was sitting at the piano and the other guys were standing on the other side facing us. As the music continued, I looked over to my friends and found them all staring at me with big smiles. I slapped Tony on the arm and asked why he didn't tell me. "Where would the surprise be in that?" I looked back and everyone started to sit. I settled back and listened to the music and then JC started to sing. Walking on the beach/Always side by side Our feet were in the surf/When I looked in your eyes The blue that shown back/Looked deep in my soul I knew right then/That love was in control We started talking sweetly/Laughing along the way When we both stopped suddenly/I knew this was my fate The love I have for you/Shines deep within my heart. You make me love you more and more/When ever we're apart. The way you hold me/The way you love me Makes me feel so free/No one's found their way inside 'Cause you've always held the key/Once you found the entrance And started on your way/I found the love I have for you Grows stronger every day. The first night we met/We talked and danced till three The first night we loved/I knew you were meant for me Our meeting wasn't by chance; no/We both dreamed a little dream We knew we'd find each other/Because it was meant to be. The love I have for you/Grows greater every day I hope we'll be together/For a journey along the way The way you kissed me/The way you taught me How I should be loved/Was more than anyone has tried Even from God above Once I learned the lessons/And you happily agreed Our long life together/Came crashing down on me With this love I show you/I hope you'll accept my pleas All I ask is forgiveness/And for you to come back to me Je t'adore, Mio amore The audience went wild. I just sat there with a lone tear rolling down my cheek. I couldn't believe he had written that for me. I didn't know what to do, so I stood, but didn't clap. As the audience was starting to quiet down, Oprah walked out on stage and yelled, "*Nsync." The audience went nuts, again. As the audience was clapping, the boys made their way over to the chairs sitting on stage and all took a seat. JC sat next to Oprah. Lance next to him. Then Justin, Chris and Joey finished the line. "So, what was the name of that song?" Oprah asked. "The love I have for you," JC answered. "Is that going to be on the new album?" "I'm not sure, yet. I still have to ask someone's permission, first," he explained as he scanned the room. When he finally found me, he just smiled. Looking at the other guys, Oprah asked, "What's the meaning behind the music?" Joey looked at her and said, "You'll have to ask JC about that one." He just smiled "JC?" "Well, the music isn't mine, but the words are. I can't really describe it now, but at the end of the show, hopefully I'll be able to tell you," he said with a twinkle in his eye. He looked at me and I had a mysterious look on my face. 'What is he doing?' I thought? "We'll be back after this to talk more with *Nsync," Oprah announced before cutting to commercial. As soon as the cameras were cut off, I pulled out my cell and dialed JC. He answered and I asked, "What are you doing here? And what is this telling her that you might be able to explain the meaning?" "Remember when we were down in Jamaica and I asked you what you were thinking that first night?" "Yeah. Why?...No your not!! JC!!" I stared at him and he just hung up the phone, smiling. The audience had no idea what they were in for. I put my cell phone away and looked down at the floor. "What's wrong, Monty?" Tony leaned over to ask. Getting closer to his ear, I whispered, "JC's about to open the closet door and take a huge step out." "Oh my God!!!" Tony cried. "SSSSHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I said with my finger at my mouth. The other three looked over and wondered what was going on. Tony passed the news and they all had the same reaction. This was going to be a long hour. "We're back with *Nsync as our guests today. So you just finished up the tour. What's next?" Justin took this one. "We're already working on the new album." Cheers. "Actually, we almost have it complete, I think. It won't be released until probably July or August." "We've decided that there is going to be a change with the new music. We are even going to have new looks for the tour. Ya know, we are just going to start fresh. New songs and new beginnings," JC added. More cheers. "What do you mean, 'new beginnings'?" Oprah asked. JC leaned over to look at all the guys. He mouthed some question and all the guys answered by saying yeah. Justin added, "Go ahead." He looked back at her and started. "Earlier this year, there were a lot of things going around about the group and about me. We denied them of course, but...I shouldn't have been denying them." "Wait, wait. Earlier in the year, there were rumors going around that you were gay. Are you gay?" she asked JC. The entire audience took a breath, including me, and held it, waiting for an answer. "Yeah," he said, smiling nervously. It was an embarrassed smile. He had just come out and you could hear the crowd gasp. "Ok. Earlier in the year, the papers showed pictures of you and someone. Here, look behind you on the screen." The guys turned and saw the picture of me feeding the ice cream to JC. "Who is that?" Fear overtook me. "Oh, that's his lover, Monty," Justin said, happily. Forget Calgone, fear completely took me away. I put my face in my hands and wondered what was next. "Why did you deny the rumors?" "Because, I was trying to protect the guys and Monty." "Who is Monty? Is he here?" I looked up from my hands and scooted down farther in my seat. I didn't know if I was mad, nervous, scared or happy that this was happening. I didn't know what to do? "A year ago today, I fell in love with Monty. He was the first person...sorry, second person I ever fell in love with." I peeked over the shoulder of the girl in front of me and saw Lance look at JC. "Today is our one year anniversary." "You corrected yourself. He is the second person you fell in love with. Who was the first?" "I can't tell that right now. I don't know if he wants the world to know." "Is Monty here? Can we meet him?" "I don't know if he wants to...." "Yes!!" Tony screamed, cutting JC off. Every head in the studio turned to look at him. I elbowed Tony in the arm, hard. "What are you doing?" I whispered in a loud voice. "Making your wish come true," he said. "Your Monty?" she asked. "No, but he is here." "Are you sure, Tony?" JC asked. "Yeah. He's here." "Monty?" Oprah called/asked my name. Still crouched down in my seat, I leaned to my left and looked to the side of the girl in front of me. "Yeah?" I asked. Now, I was the focus of everyone's attention. "Can you come down so we can meet you?" "I don't know. I mean...I wasn't expecting..." "C'mon, Monty. It's really not that bad," Justin chimed in. I gave him a very stern, very mean 'go to hell' look. He just sat back down and giggled. "He's gonna kill me later," I heard him say to Chris. "Well?" Oprah asked, waiting. "I'm not sure...I really wasn't expecting this." Tony was pushing on my back to tell me to go for it, but I just slapped his hand away. "We'll go to a break and let you think about it. Back in a moment," she said to the cameras. After the coast was clear, I sat up straight in my chair and looked at JC. My phone started ringing and I answered it. "Why?" I said answering it. "Because I want the world to know. You said that you wished it could; now it does. Monty, this is your decision completely. I don't want to force you into anything, but I will tell you this. I've already spoken with your mom and she gave me her blessing to do this, knowing you might be on TV and all." "Are you sure that you want me there. I mean you can still just say you were kidding." "Oh, OK. No, Oprah, I'm not gay, I just wanted to see your reaction," he said, mockingly. "That sounds good. It might work." "Monty, I've already done it and all I want now is to make the rest of your wish come true, but that can only happen if the world sees you with me. Like I said, this decision is yours. Please think about it." "Fine, I have about, what? Thirty seconds? Tell Justin, either way, I will kill him later," I said, smiling. He hung up the phone and I saw him whisper to Justin. He fell back in his chair, laughing. I looked at JC and at Lance and they were both looking at me. The other three were just looking and waving at the audience. "We're back with *Nsync. JC's just come out of the closet and now we are trying to meet his lover. Today is their one year anniversary and he seems a bit shy." Looking up at me, she asked, "Well, Monty? You coming?" I looked over to my friends and they were all smiling back, so I stood up and the audience started clapping. They didn't seem too enthusiastic to see me walk up to the guys. I just killed some of their dreams of marriage with JC. They were throwing daggers at me with their eyes. I did my best to avoid their stare, but I just couldn't help but to look. As I reached the stage, JC stood and came to hug me. I wrapped my arms around him and smiled at the others. They were all standing waiting for their hug. One by one, I went down the line hugging, but I skipped Justin and waited to get to him last. When I did, I whispered in his ear, "I sure as hell hope you know how to run, because you are going to need to when the show is over." He pulled back and started to laugh. When I turned around, I found a sixth chair waiting for me between Lance and JC. I took my seat and JC reached over and grabbed my hand. "So how did the two of you meet?" Oprah asked. JC started the story and explained how we met. After a bit, I took over and continued. We left out a few details, which all the guys were thankful for, and finished by telling them about Madam Zuvik. "Three hundred years?" she asked, amazed. "That's what she said," I confirmed. "Wow." After a short pause, she turned to JC and asked if he could tell her about the song. "The song was written for him. We had some hard times and stopped talking for a few months. He wrote the music, but he had no words. I wanted to apologize to him, so I put it in a song. I know he's my soul mate." She continued to ask more questions, and then she asked them for a second song. They guys got up and sang 'Somewhere, Someday'. It came from the Pokemon soundtrack. Justin started the song as usual. Clouds above you/Start to pull All of your doubts/Rage like a storm And you don't know/Who you are anymore Let me help you find/What you've been searching for CHORUS: (Somewhere) Somewhere there's a field and a river (Somewhere) You can let your soul run free (Someday) Someday let me be the giver Let me bring you peace (Somewhere) Somewhere there's a break in the weather (Somewhere) Where your heart and spirit go free (Someday) Someday it'll be for the better Let this bring you peace Then JC took it from here. Boy I know you/Think no one sees The weight on your shoulders/But you can't fool me And aren't you tired/Of standing so tall Let me be the one/To catch you when you fall CHORUS JC and Justin took turns with the rest of the song. Let me bring you joy (bring you joy) Let me bring you peace (bring you peace) Take these tears that you've cried/and trust them to me Let me give you heart/Let me give you hope Be the one constant love/that you've never known CHORUS Somewhere, someday Let me be the one/to catch you when you fall Somewhere Somewhere Let me bring you peace Somewhere After the song ended, Oprah went to a commercial. The guys came back and JC kissed me as he sat. I was a little shocked, but just went with the flow. The final song performed was Richard Marx's, 'Now and Forever'. JC had taken my hand and pulled me to the piano. He sat down and pulled me next to him. As he sang, he looked in my eyes and stared into my soul. During the song, Justin started with the harmonies. He walked over behind me and placed a hand on my shoulder. I didn't look away from JC. I knew he was there, but JC had me entranced. By the end of the song, all the guys were standing around the piano. When the audience applauded, JC leaned over and kissed me. This time, I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed back. I didn't care who knew. I was finally in love, again, and the world, literally, knew it. After the show finally ended, the guys hung around for another hour and signed autographs and had their pictures taken. The girls that were giving me their fatal stare earlier came up to JC anyway and still swooned. They knew they wouldn't ever have the chance, but at that time, I don't think they really cared. When we were finally left alone and everyone left the studio it was just the ten of us, plus Oprah. "I want to thank you guys. And you too, Monty," Oprah said. "No. It's me who should be thanking you. If I had never hurt him," JC started, looking at me, "the world would've never found out. I'm glad that it's now out in the open. I just regret hurting him." "And that's a whole other show," I said, laughing. The others, who got the joke, ended up laughing too. Even JC. Oprah once again thanked us and excused herself to her office. "Well, what now?" Joey asked. "Food," Justin announced. "I need food." Looking at Justin, I said, "What you need is a head start before I beat your ass." He looked at the other guys and then at me and then bolted towards the door. I was right behind him, gaining, while the others followed, laughing. To Be Continued . . . .
