I hope everyone enjoys reading it, but please remember it is just fiction. My favourite stories at the moment are: Bad Boy B-Rok Get Another Boyfriend My New Life Double Take And a few others, but those are the ones I read in the last few days... Here's chapter Eleven... On The Streets - Season Two - Chapter Eleven >>>Kevin's Point of View<<< May 5th 2003 (Day 1 of Honeymoon) We touched down early the next morning. Mexico has a different time zone though, so while it was four o'clock in the morning in Florida, it was only three in the morning here. I was awake before Jared as we started our descent, and I heard the captain order for our seatbelts to be buckled. "Jared? Jared?" I nudged him like he had me in the limo a few hours before. He slowly woke up, and finally opened his eyes. "Mmm... yeah?" He asked, not willing to open both eyes at once just yet. "We're here." I said softly. "Where's here?" You had to give it to him, he was still trying to find out where we were, I decided to tell him. "Merida." I told him. "Spain?" He said with a confused expression on his face. I shook my head. "Mexico. You need to do up your seat belt Jared." He sat up quickly, and buckled up. The flight attendant was just walking by, and made sure we were ok. Once she left, Jared turned to me. "Mexico did you say?" He asked with a frown. I nodded. "I've never been there." "Well you have now, we're here." I said with a chuckle. "And I knew you'd never been here remember? I know what countries you've been to. I thought you would prefer to go somewhere you hadn't been rather than going to say one of the countries in Europe we'd been to before. I thought about Africa for a while, but we'd have to get shot full of vaccines and things before we went, and I didn't think you'd want to go and have twenty odd injections before we left." He leant over and kissed me. "You thought right." He smiled as he moved away. The plane bounced slightly as we landed, and it kinda shook us both awake. "So what's in Merida for us to do?" Jared asked. "Err... well, there's plenty. For a start, we have our own villa, right by the sea. I rented the whole thing out, with a private beach. It's beautiful, it's set into jungle, and it's literally forty feet from the sea when the tide's in." I smiled. Jared looked on expectantly. "Then there's the Maya ruins, I arranged for us to go and have a look at them, whenever we felt like going." Jared smiled slightly, that seemed to interest him. "There's a resort about three or four miles up the beach from where our villa is, and we can go and eat there whenever we want to, there's about three or four different restaurants there, and we can go for a pleasure cruise there." I paused, running out of things to say. "Oh yeah, and we can work on your tan. You're even paler than me, and I thought I was pretty pale!" Jared smiled and shook his head. "What's the matter? You run out of things for us to do?" He smirked, and unbuckled his seat belt. The plane had come to a stop. He leant forward, and found his carry-on. Then he stood up and stretched, banging his hand on the overhead compartment above the seats next to ours. "Ow!" He pulled his hand back and shook it with a hurt look on his face. "Ha! That's for laughing when I ran out of things to tell you!" I smirked, and picked up my carry-on, and headed for the front of the plane. About ten steps on, I turned around and found him five steps or so behind me. I held out my hand, and he took it, and we headed towards the exit together, hand in hand. The flight attendant's told us how much they hoped we would fly with the same company again, and what great passengers we were, and Jared thanked them. I did a really good job of ignoring them. Then we walked towards the airport exit, and there was a black man in a grey suit holding a sign that read 'Healey'. I headed straight for it. I turned to look at Jared, and he was frowning. "Mr. Richardson?" The man asked in a Caribbean accent. "Yes, Kevin please. This is Jared, you must be Jake?" "Yessir." He said with a grin to both of us. "Do you have any more bags sirs?" "Err... no, we had the rest shipped." I answered. "Please call me Kevin though, and this is Jared." "Oh no sirs. I couldn't. Please follow me." His accent was very thick, and he even carried our carry-ons for us. Jake was supposed to be with us all summer, dealing with our needs, that sort of thing, so that we didn't have to run to town if we just wanted bread, or milk or something in the villa. I just hoped he would stop calling us 'sir'. We headed out, and a limo was waiting for us. Turns out Jake doubled as a limo driver, and we jumped in the back as he held the door open. "I feel like I could do with another ten hours sleep." Jared said as we got into the back. "It's only a half hour drive to the villa." I told him. "Oh, well, I guess I can wait." Jared said, though I had the feeling he wasn't going to last the half hour back. *** "Jared? Jared?" Feeling of deja vu - I'd just woken him up on the plane half an hour ago, and now I was doing it again. The door swung open, and Jared quickly sat up. "We here?" "Yeah, come on." Jared climbed out the limo, and looked up. "Whoa! You sure you couldn't get a bigger villa Kev?" Jared laughed. The villa was, well, huge. "Shut up! It was the nicest one in the brochure, besides, we've got to have enough room so that every time we feel like getting... intimate, we can always do it in a different place!" I grinned at him. Jake passed us the carry-ons which we'd left on the back seat, and escorted us to the front door, and held the door open for us. "The kitchen is to the left here. It is fully stocked. There is a heated pool just out those doors." He pointed to some glass doors in the opposite wall. "There is a game room to your right, and there is an entertainment room over there. The music room is in the far wing of the house. Upstairs, there is eight bedrooms, and eight bathrooms, all en suite. There is also the balcony, the office and another entertainment room. There is a gym and another game room down in the basement. The roof of the house is flat and can be accessed by the spiral staircase in the master bedroom. It is excellent for sunbathing." We both listened to the description of the house, and couldn't wait till tomorrow, so that we could see it in the light. "Are you staying in one of the bedrooms?" Jared asked. "No. I will be using de guest house, on the other side of the pool." He pointed his finger through the glass doors, though we couldn't see more than five feet out of them. "Do you need me to do anything for you tonight. Your beds have been folded down, and the temperature controls and water heater have been turned on." "Err... no thanks, thank you Jake." I answered quickly. "Ok... good night sirs, see you in the morning." We both nodded, and Jake walked out through the glass doors, locking it behind himself with a key. "Well, let's get upstairs then shall we?" Jared asked. I nodded, and we headed up together. The bedroom was done in a pale peach colour, with a vine pattern drawn all over the walls. The headboard and bedlinen were also decorated with the vine motif, and it was even in the carpet. The spiral staircase was to our left as we walked in, and led to a door in a sloped section of the ceiling, which obviously went out onto the roof. The ceiling in here was very high, maybe twelve feet or so. Jared threw his carry on behind the door after it shut, and stretched. "Time for bed." Jared said with a grin as he started pulling off his clothes. "I couldn't agree more." I was aching a bit from exhaustion, and needed a good night's sleep. *** Jared and I woke up at about 11 the following morning. "Hey." Jared said, his head still resting against the pillow. "Hey." I replied. He was lying on his side and I was on my front. I reached out and took his hand in mine, and ran my finger over his wedding ring. "I love you." Jared smiled slightly. "I love you too." Jared replied, before shutting his eyes again. "I don't wanna get up today." Jared said with a grin. "We don't have to." I grinned at him, and leant over again for another kiss. "This feels so good." I said to him. The air conditioning had obviously come on sometime this morning, and the room was cool, but not excessively, and the sheets on the bed were just warm enough to prevent us from feeling the cold. We snuggled closer together. "It feels amazing." Jared said. "I can't remember the last time I felt this good without having had sex just before." Jared said with a smile on his lips. "Well we could remedy that..." I said with a smirk. I reached down and gently rubbed the back of my hand against Jared's semi-hard cock. "Mmm... only if you can be bothered to do all the work. I'm too comfortable." I grinned at Jared's heavy-lidded expression, before going down on him. He returned the favour a few minutes later, and we decided to check out the bathroom. The bathroom was large, but not as big as our one at home. It had a sunken bathtub, and a multi-nozzle shower. We decided to settle on the shower for now, and we might try out the bath, which looked very comfortable tonight if we felt like it. "So what do you actually feel like doing today?" I shouted to Jared over the rush of water from the showerheads. "I don't know. I need to do something active. I feel like I haven't been in a gym in a week... oh wait, I haven't. But I wouldn't mind getting some sunbathing in. Maybe if we just relax and sunbathe a bit, and if I get the urge I can go for a run or something." "I'll join you. I could do with a workout. Look at this." I held a pinch of skin around my waist between my thumb and forefinger. Jared smirked and shook his head, before joining me under my nozzle and kissing me. "You're perfect and you know it." He kissed me again and again. I loved the way he knew that his body was so much better than mine, but he still complimented mine every chance he got. Then he turned off both the taps. "Come on, I'm hungry." He said as he headed out the bathroom. I was thinking about suggesting eating each other, but by the time I caught up to Jared in the bedroom, he'd pulled on shorts and a t-shirt, so he was obviously in the mood for some real food. We went downstairs, and found the kitchen to not only be fully stocked, but if anything to be overstocked, there were stacks of every type of food conceivable in every cupboard. After breakfast, we decided to just go and relax on the beach. Jared looked really good after he took his shirt off, though he was a little pale, I was glad he was getting some sun, he spent too much time in that studio back home, so he was never really outside. "I'm just gonna run down the beach a bit, I'll be back soon." Jared said as we were lying down together on the beach. We hadn't seen Jake yet that morning. "Wait up! I'll come with you." So we started just jogging down the beach, talking occasionally, pointing things out. The beach led into a heavily wooded area which I guess used to be part of a rainforest, but large parts of it had been cut down. We probably only ran out for about twenty minutes, and then Jared wanted to head back, so we did. He was getting happier, I could see it - I'd never seen him this happy, and I guess it made me feel better. I think he felt like he fitted in here, with so few people and we could just do whatever we wanted. It suited him, the position and the happiness. The towels we had been laying on were in sight, and Jared turned to me. "Race you." He said with a grin, and sprinted off. "Hey! Cheater!" I shouted as I tried to catch up. Jared was faster than me anyway, and by the time I got back to the towels, he was lying on his front, pretending to be asleep. "Cheater." I grumbled, and a smile appeared on his face, but he didn't open his eyes. I knelt over him with one knee on either side of his hips, and then laid down full length on top of him. "You know..." I kissed his shoulder. "We could have some 'sex on the beach'." I said softly. Jared smirked again. He then quickly rolled over, and somehow ended up him on top with me on my back. He was holding my hands just above my head. He leant down and kissed me gently on the lips. He kissed me softly at first, just touching our lips together, then gradually he got harder, his tongue entered into my mouth, and ran along the side of mine. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" Jared suddenly broke the kiss, and looked up and there was Jake about twenty yards away with his hands over his eyes. He walked away quickly, and Jared and I watched him leave. He looked down at me, and broke into a smirk, then started laughing. He rolled off me to one side, then released a sharp, hissing sound, and sat up. He looked behind him, but couldn't see anything. When he turned slightly, I saw his back, he'd got sunburnt. "Come on, let's get you inside, you're getting burnt." "But we put on loads of sun tan lotion!" Jared whined. "I don't care! You're burnt, your back is all red. We'd better keep you covered up for a bit." Jared started pouting, and I grinned, but I was going to get him inside, so I reached over and put my hand on his back. He jumped up and we headed inside, though the pout never left Jared's face. *** (Day 2) The following day, we woke up together again (I was beginning to love this!) and we lay there together for a minute in the semi-darkness of the room. "What do you want to do today?" Jared asked me. "Nothing, just lie here with you." Jared leant forward and kissed me on the cheek, I took it that he agreed with me. About an hour later, the phone by my side of the bed rung. I swung my arm over and picked up the receiver. "Hello?" "Good Morning Sir." It was Jake. "Would you like breakfast brought up to you this morning?" "Oh. Err... hold on." I turned to Jared. "Do you want breakfast in bed?" "Sure." Jared said, and I could just about see his grin in the semi-darkness, as he started to lower himself down. "I meant literally! Jake is asking if we want breakfast in bed." Jared's pout was practically audible. "Oh. Ok, sure, are you sure it's ok?" Jared asked. "Yeah, well, he offered." I brought the receiver back to my ear. "Um, yes please Jake, that sounds great." "Ok, then, I will be up shortly." He hung up. As I hung up the phone, I turned on the bedside light, it blinded me for a second, and when I turned back to Jared, he was still covering his eyes. He eventually removed his hands, and I saw his face - it was dark brown! He had gone from a pale, milky colour to a deep tan in one day! "Jared, um, you need to look in a mirror." I said, still shocked by the change. "Why? What's wrong?" "Nothing's wrong... but, have you ever like sunbathed a lot before?" "I guess when I've been on holiday." "Just go look in the mirror." I told him. He stood up and walked over to the mirror that was fitted inside the wardrobe door. "Yeah, I got a tan, so what?" Jared asked. "Jared, you were pale yesterday, now you look latino! People aren't supposed to tan that quickly!" I stared at him. "Look at me - I was in the sun for as long as you yesterday, and I haven't changed that much!" "But you're in the sun at home more than I am, you already had some colour in your skin." I didn't want to point out that it was almost freakish how quickly he had gained a dark, tan colour - he was almost as dark as Jake for God's sake! When Jake finally arrived, Jared who was just climbing back into bed got out again and opened the door for him. Jake stood staring at Jared for a few seconds before realising what he was doing and pushing the cart into the room. Jake placed the tray on the middle of the bed, and with another quick glance at Jared, left the room. "See?" "What?" Jared asked, picking up some toast. "The looks Jake was giving you! You've gone too tan too quickly, I think we'd better put more lotion on you today." Jared chuckled and shook his head, obviously still thinking that I was kidding. *** Jared's Point of View - May 7th (Day 3) The following day, Kevin was still going on about my tan, what was his problem? So I turned a bit brown. I was looking forward to today - Jake was going to show us through the rainforest, and take us along an old Maya road. Kevin and I were up early, so basically we fucked like rabbits for about an hour, before getting up and taking a bath together. We'd discovered the pleasures of the large, sunken bathtub the night before when the jacuzzi jets had come on, and relaxed us completely. As I was looking for something to wear, Kevin got dressed, and then came up behind me, as I reached for a high cupboard which had a couple of pairs of my shorts in. He grabbed me around the waist, and spun me around. He was wearing a pair of black shorts, a dark red t-shirt, and... oh my, probably the ugliest, worst fitting hat I've ever seen. It was an almost white, Panama-style hat which sat atop his head, and didn't quite come down far enough. An idea struck me - I leant forward to kiss him and as I did, I ran my hands through his hair, slowly pushing his hat off. I caught it behind his back, and put it on the table behind me. I kissed him harder, and harder, and he took a couple of steps back, finally he was almost at the door to the bedroom. I released him, and pushed him out the bedroom. "Now let me get ready!" I said with a grin on my lips. I shut the door. I had to find somewhere to put that hat before he came back and found it. I threw it under the bed. I threw on a pair of shorts, and a wifebeater, and picked up a pair of thick socks and boots - we were apparently gonna be walking a lot today. Just then, Kevin came back in. "Where's my hat?" "I dunno." I lied, unfortunately a little too quickly. He didn't seem to notice. He searched around for it, and then got down on his knees and looked under the bed. But he froze, just as he was looking under the bed, he didn't reach under or anything, then he stood up. "Guess I'll just have to get another one." He reached up to another cupboard, and pulled out a much nicer bucket hat. He walked out, after telling me to hurry up. I frowned, then looked under the bed. His hat was right there - why hadn't he got it? I finished getting ready and left the room. *** Later, that evening, we arrived back. We'd trekked about fifteen miles, through rainforest and over foothills. Kevin collapsed onto the couch in the main living room, and pretended to fall asleep. I sat down next to him, and he snuggled up to me. "Will you be needing me to get supper tonight sirs?" Jake asked from the patio door. "No thanks Jake, I've got something sorted out." Kevin answered. Jake said goodbye and left. "So what are we doing?" "Well, first we're going up to get showered and changed, and then we're going to a little restaurant in town, and maybe a bar afterwards?" Kevin said with a smile. "Sure." I leant down and kissed him on the lips. "You go up and get ready - I've got to make a couple of calls." Kevin said. I frowned slightly. "Don't worry, nothing's wrong, I just have to finalise a couple of things." I nodded, and stood. Finally, Kevin came up and started to get showered and ready - he was being a bit distant, but I didn't ask him about it. I went and sat on the couch while I waited for him. As I was pulling on my shoes, Kevin came down again in some smarter clothes. He was wearing a pair of black slacks and the ugliest, turquoise shirt I've ever seen - what is he doing? Wearing the ugliest clothes he can all in one day? Kevin was looking straight at me when I finally tore my eyes from the garment. I knew I was being kinda stereotypical, but still, that shirt was really ugly. "What do you think?" Kevin asked with a straight face - he had to be kidding. "You look..." What if he wasn't kidding, oh fuck, what if he was serious and I really insulted him? "Great. Shall we get going." Kevin paused and looked at me. "What do you think of this shirt?" Kevin asked with squinted eyes. Now was he kidding? Or had he noticed the look I'd given it, and realised I didn't like it, and was now testing me to see if I lied or something? "It looks fine." I said, my voice getting slightly tighter. "Don't lie Jared." Kevin looked straight at me - I felt shivers go down my spine, he sounded pissed off. Oh crap - he must have seen me looking at the shirt. "This morning you knocked off my hat, and I have to admit it wasn't a very nice hat, just so that I wouldn't wear it, and now you won't even tell me that you don't like my shirt. Jared, why won't you tell me the truth?" "Cos I didn't know how you'd take it." I said quietly. This kinda hurt - Kevin just... I don't know - he had been testing me, and I didn't want to have an argument about this. "Jared..." Kevin didn't carry on, he just came over and hugged me. I didn't know what to do, so I just hugged him back. "Jared, you don't need to worry about telling me something like that - as long as you say it reasonably nicely, I won't care - if you want to tell me something like that, do." I nodded slightly against his shoulder. I had to will myself not to cry, Kevin carried on reinforcing the idea that we were equals, and I wouldn't accept it. "Kevin." "Yeah Jared?" "Your shirt is ugly." Kevin pulled back and saw the smirk on my face and broke out into a grin. "I'll go change." He turned and bounded up the stairs. I felt really happy. Kevin came down five minutes later, in a burgundy shirt which looked a lot better. He spun around on the spot for me, and I smiled and nodded. He grabbed my hand, and we walked outside. A cab pulled up just as we did. I looked at Kevin. "Those things I had to finalise." He answered. That's what he had to make some calls about - getting us transport for the evening without making Jake come back, or sit around waiting for us all evening. We drove in silence to the restaurant in the middle of a busy high street. People were walking up and down, and there were bars where the tables spilt out onto the streets, and performers were pouring up and down the road, getting pennies for their acrobatic or musical feats. We walked into the nicest looking restaurant on the street, and were shown our seats. My Spanish was nowhere near as good as Kevin's, so he did all the talking, and we were soon tucking into a highly spiced meat dish with what looked lentils in it. I had to drink a lot to prevent my tongue from burning. At the end of the course, Kevin smirked at me. "Hot isn't it?" "Just a bit." I had to loosed my collar another button, and I could feel my brow sweating. "Don't worry you'll like dessert." Kevin smiled and two big bowls of ice cream came out. I just held each spoonful on my mouth, soothing the scalded taste buds there. Finally, we sat back, both of our stomachs full. After ten minutes, Kevin sat up and we were on the move again. "Which bar do you want to go into?" He asked, as we started down the main street. "I don't mind, whichever." I said, feeling a bit of a buzz from the wine in the restaurant. Kevin jerked on my arm, and we turned into a bar which was just bordering on 'dive'. It was hotter in the bar than on the street, and I started sweating again. My slacks felt really uncomfortable now, and I carried on 'adjusting' myself. Kevin pulled me over to a booth and sat me down, before going over to the bar and ordering. I looked over and saw him coming back a moment later, but before he got there, three guys sat opposite and on each side of me. They started talking in Spanish. I looked to Kevin for help - I couldn't speak Spanish in any state, and in my current one, my knowledge of Spanish was somewhere less than nil. Kevin finally got to my side, and put the drinks down on the table. He spoke to them in Spanish some, and they started arguing. I didn't realise that Kevin knew the language so well. Finally, Kevin sat down in the booth, next to me. "They want to see who can drink more, Americans or Mexicans." Kevin said with a sigh. I didn't understand, I'm not sure why now, it was pretty self explanatory. "I'm not American." Kevin put his hand over my mouth. "Ok, then they want a drinking contest - of tequila." I felt my stomach sink - the alcohol in my stomach, wasn't lying very well. "What if we don't?" I looked across at them - they weren't small, but Kevin and I probably could've handled them - if I was sober. "I don't think we want to know." The guy holding the bottle was already pouring into five shot glasses which sat on the table. My forehead was sweating like mad now, and I really wanted to wipe it, but I didn't think it would look very good that I was sweating. Kevin ran the back of his hand along my thigh, wary of touching me too much in front of them. We reached out and took our first shots. As the Mexicans downed them, so did we. And they were lined up again. And again. And again. And again. And I lost count after four or five. The bottle didn't seem to be getting any closer to the end though. Finally, I looked over and saw the bar was almost empty, and it was well past 1 o'clock. I knew we'd slowed down considerably, particularly as the guy who was pouring got more and more inebriated, but I didn't realise it had been that long. I felt my stomach start to churn though. My body convulsed, but I held it in my mouth, the acid burning the inside of my mouth. One of the Mexicans jumped out the way, and pointed me in the direction of the toilets. I collided with the doorframe, but just about made my way there. Just as I hit the toilet, my bowels came up and hit the water. I heard the Mexicans shouting something to Kevin, and then Kevin was beside me, and gently resting his hand on my back. "It's ok Jared." Kevin said softly. "My stomach..." I groaned, and released another torrent of milky, brown liquid into the toilet bowl. Kevin made soft noises and rubbed my back gently. Finally, it stopped. I stood up on shaky legs, and Kevin and I left the bar. I'm not entirely sure how we got home, but I was very impressed that Kevin managed it, considering he'd drunk exactly the amount I had. I was to find out later that he'd only drunk water in the restaurant, but still, pretty impressive. *** RING-RING "Ow!" Kevin moaned and hid his head under the pillow quickly. Sensing his discomfort, I reached across and grabbed the phone. "Hello?" "Good morning sir, would you and Mr. Richardson like breakfast in bed again?" "Err... I don't think so, we both drunk a bit too much last night, I think we're just going to lie in." "Oh ok sir, I'll speak to you later then." "Bye Jake." "Goodbye Sir." He hung up, and I lay back down on the bed. "Are you ok Kevin?" I whispered to the other side of the bed. A groan came in response. "I wish I'd thrown up last night too - my head is killing me." He turned slowly to look at me. "Do you want me to get you something?" Kevin paused, and rested his head deeper into the pillow. "There are some painkillers in the bathroom cabinet." He said softly, I stood up and went to get them. That was basically how Kevin was for the rest of the day. Jake rung again about lunchtime, once again attacking Kevin's delicate senses. By suppertime, Kevin was ready for some food, so we headed downstairs, and had something small. I was worried about him, and I was also worried that I didn't know what to do - I'd never really had to look after him or for that matter anyone before. About 11 that night, Kevin and I were settled on the couch, and Kevin was moving closer, not very subtly. Eventually, he just rested his head down onto my stomach, and wrapped his arms around my waist. He twisted his legs around so that he was closer to me, and he gradually drifted off to sleep, my hand running through his hair. I fell asleep half an hour later, Kevin's warm body acting as my blanket. End of Chapter 11 TBC... It's been a while hasn't it? I think this was my longest break ever, but don't worry! I'm still here! I started university on October 1st, and for anyone who's interested, I'm doing fine... I thought people were kidding when they said the first year of uni is easy! I'm bored out my mind most of the time! Hopefully I'm gonna be increasing the amount I write soon and the chapters will come out a bit more regularly - I'm hoping not to have another month long break before the next one. Anyway, hope to hear from all you readers out there - I hope it hasn't been too long and everyone's forgotten about me!
