Date: Sat, 04 May 2002 14:44:04 +0000 From: James Subject: Boy Bands - On The Streets - Part 36 I don't know the Backstreet Boys, or N'Sync, nor is this story meant to imply anything about their sexuality, their private lives or their life choices. Please don't take any of this seriously, it is just a story, nothing more. Nothing in this story is real, it is the product of the author's imagination. That's enough disclaimers I think... Now some suggestions, seeing as everyone else seems to be doing it. My favourite stories are: Forever (Kevin) My New Life (Lance) JC's Hitchhiker (JC) Get Another Boyfriend (Kevin) Whiplash (Kevin) Blind Date (Lance) My Surprise Romance (Lance) Josh and Just (Duh!) Lottery Winner (Joey) Jamie's Romance (Justin) Brian and Me (Brian) That's it, I know there are more I read that I haven't mentioned, but I can't remember them right now, sorry! Well, here's chapter 36, I hope everyone really enjoys it, it's pretty long, and if you like hot sex, flick to the end - great sex scene coming up! On The Streets - Part 36 Last Time: I slowed to a stop, and then practically fell off of him. "Wow." I mumbled. "Yeah, wow." Jared answered. When I looked over at him, he had glazed over eyes. "I love you Jared." "I love you too Kev, I'm so tired now." "Me too, good night Jared." I leant over and kissed him gently. Then we moved to our own pillows, we were too hot and sticky too sleep next to one another now. I passed out almost right away. Now on with the story: Jared and I woke up that morning to the sound of the beeping alarm. Thank God it was Friday at last. A whole weekend to ourselves. We'd even arranged our studio time so that we'd be done by lunchtime, and Jared only had a session with N'Sync this morning. I walked downstairs, and quickly turned on my computer to check my email. Jared walked down as well in just a pair of pyjama bottoms, and I smiled as I saw him stretch, his abs thinning out to just an etching over his taut body. His pecs resting like slabs on his ribcage, and his...hardness thrusting through the silk nightwear. I blushed when I realised he had been watching me leer at him. He walked over to me, put one arm around my waist and pulled me roughly towards him. He put his lips about two inches away from mine. "Kevin, last night..." He paused, and I was worried about what he would say next. "Was the most incredible night I think I've ever had. If I put you through anything even close to that when we have sex, while I'm surprised you're not fucking catatonic!" He grinned at me. I felt his hard cock grind into mine. "I'll let you in on a secret Jared..." I leant towards his ear and whispered. "When I'm around you, I normally am." He grinned as I pulled back, and we kissed hard, on the lips. His tongue swirled around my mouth, and I felt his hand grip the back of my head, further deepening the kiss. As we broke apart, he grinned at me once more, then pulled back and went into the kitchen, presumably to make breakfast. A minute or so later, I smelt bacon frying. I checked my mail box, and finding only two there, I left them, maybe there'd be more later, and I could actually be bothered to reply to them all. I turned on the music system from my computer and then joined Jared in the kitchen. The melody of Robbie Williams' "Angels" started to come through the speakers. "This is a bit of an old song isn't it?" Jared asked me as he turned around, wiping his hands on a dishcloth. The bacon sizzled in the pan. I just shrugged to Jared's question. "It's not that old - only, what 1999? I mean that's almost four years ago. I listen to music older than that." I answered. "It was late 1997." Jared answered back. "You didn't even listen to music then, how would you know?" "Go and check." He said in an exasperated tone. So I did. I got up, and went and looked at the back of the CD. Shit. He was right. "Ha you were wrong." I lied as I walked back into the kitchen. He turned around and looked me in the eyes. He walked closer, then a step closer. I backed up against the table. His crotch made contact with mine, and I inhaled sharply. "When was it released?" He asked me. "1997, you were right." I answered in a squeaky voice. "Good boy." He ran a hand down my jaw, and kissed me on the lips. "How did you know? I thought you said you didn't listen to pop music back then?" I was curious, wasn't he on the streets around then? "I may have been on the streets at that time, but I was in London. Do you remember why this song was released when it was?" I shook my head. "It was one of the songs released after Princess Diana's death, it was the same time Elton John re-released 'Candle in the Wind'." Oh, I remembered now. "I guess sad songs help people to deal with things like that." I nodded and put my hands around Jared's waist. He turned and got on with cooking. I never took my head off his shoulder while he was cooking, and he finally flipped out some bacon, and some eggs, and put them onto plates. We ate together, he stood at the sideboard eating, which I thought was unusual, and I sat just by him. Sometime during our meal, I started thinking about last night. Unconsciously, my foot started rubbing up and down Jared's leg. When I next looked up at him, he was smiling at me, and I realised what I was doing. He looked at the clock on the kitchen wall. "When do we have to leave?" He asked me. I turned and looked at the clock. "In about 45 minutes, why?" I asked as I carried on eating my breakfast. He stood quickly, and I looked up in surprise. He grabbed my hand. "Come with me." He said loudly. Then he dragged me from the kitchen, his grip on my wrist almost painful. Just at the door to the kitchen, I hesitated, and looked back, whimpering for my half eaten breakfast. "You can grab something on the way!" Jared shouted, and pulled me up the stairs. We were in the bathroom, and Jared turned and faced me, and pulled me into the most passionate kiss we've shared practically since we've met. "I want you to fuck me in the shower." I pulled back from him as he said that. I think he knew why. "Last night wasn't fucking, I know that, we were making love, and it was the most wonderful experience Kevin, but right now, I need you to fuck me, can you do that?" He said with a big grin on his face. He took a step back, and pulled some bodybuilding pose, and his abs caved into his stomach, and he locked his hands behind his head, and his pyjama bottoms slipped off his waist, over his hips, and to the floor, only catching temporarily on his hardening cock. I reached over and turned on the shower. He grinned at me, and pulled me close to him, locking his lips with mine. He pulled out the back of my pyjama bottoms, and slid his hands down the back, grabbing my ass hard. I moaned into the kiss. Finally, we stepped into the shower. Both of us were fully hard. He turned and faced the wall of the shower, and he turned to face me, his muscles in his back rippling wonderfully. "Fuck me Kevin." He grinned. I grabbed a bottle of body lotion off the shower shelf and poured some straight onto my cock. Neither of us were standing straight under the stream of water, but we had both got wet climbing in. The droplets clung to his silky smooth skin, and I longed to taste it. After a couple of rubs up and down my hard cock, it was completely coated with the gelatinous liquid, and I held it to his hole. The heat coming from that tight opening was like electricity shooting through me, and, grabbing onto his hips, I slowly pushed into him. "Harder!" Jared urged me on, and I started to pump, finally my full length was going in and out of him every time. I wrapped my arms around Jared's waist, and licked his back in the process, he moaned as I did, and arched his back, once again affording me a view of his straining muscles. He was groaning louder and louder as I pumped into him, his hole tensing each time to meet my strokes. I reached around and took him in my hand, and took a couple of pumps, and then he arched his back even more, and his buttocks tensed, and he exploded, over my hand, the wall opposite and onto the floor. The tight tensing, and the feel of Jared's abs as I ran my hand up them set me off, and I was soon emptying my load into him. I moaned in ecstasy, and I rested my lips on his shoulder, suckling gently. I heard him take a couple of deep breaths, and then sigh as I withdrew. "Fuck me, Kevin." "I thought I just did?" I asked not believing what I was hearing. "No, I was just saying 'Wow, fuck me, that was good'." He laughed. Then he just grinned, then he kissed me. As I pulled back, I was breathless. He was looking at me with those gorgeous eyes, and I felt myself staring back at him the same way he was staring at me. "Did you enjoy that?" I asked as we slipped into the wet stream, pouring down onto our bodies. "Kevin you're incredible, I've never felt so good with anyone as I have with you. You're the best I've ever been with." I kissed him again, enflamed by his flattery. Our arms wrapped around each other tightly, and our lips crushed together. Finally, we pulled back, and I could taste the bitter flavour of blood on my lips, but it went away as I licked, and we stood in the shower washing one another gently. "Come on, we need to get going." I at last said to him. I pulled him out the shower, and we dried one another. We left twenty minutes later, only about quarter of an hour behind schedule. *** >>>Jared's Point of View<<< Kevin and I climbed into his car and drove to the studios. It was a five minute drive or so, and once there, we kissed and parted, though we carried on looking over our shoulders as we walked away, and carried on grinning at each other. I'd never felt closer to anyone, and never felt happier. I had a session with N'Sync to get to, so I headed in that direction. It was while I was walking along the empty corridor that I realised that my legs were swinging out when I walked. I was actually walking bow-legged! I'd never been fucked so good in my life. Kevin felt so wonderful inside me, but now my legs and ass were aching quite a bit. I entered the studio, and could hear the sounds of the guys changing in the changing room. I swung open the door, and just stuck my head in far enough to see Joey's ass, unfortunately pointed in my direction. "You got two minutes, then I'm gonna come in here and drag you out!" I shouted in there. Then I let the door swing shut, and went to get warmed up. I was just stretching my quads when four of the guys started climbing over one another to get in the room, almost on the two minute mark. Lance calmly followed behind. "How things going man?" Joey hollered as he entered. "Good thanks, shall we get started." I said with a grin. "Hold on, why are you grinning like that?" Justin asked. "I'm not grinning, now come on get warmed up, jog around, um twenty laps." They started their laps, but they carried on casting glances at me. Could they tell I'd taken Kevin? Finally, they were done, and we got ready to start our basic routine. The guys spread out some mats on the floor (come on, didn't think I'd do that myself did you?) and they got into sit up position. Now, I've always believed in teaching by doing, so I got down with them, but no sooner had I got down on the floor, and started to curl up, than I got a burning sensation running up my spine. I jumped up quickly, and the other guys got up too, suddenly realising I was in pain. "What's wrong Jared?" Lance asked in concern. "Nothing, nothing." I said trying to calm myself down, but clutching at my lower half in pain. "Just get back to the workout, I'll join you soon." I said that, then started to walk away. "Hey JC, do you notice something funny about the way Jared's walking?" Chris said, loud enough for me to hear. I turned around, and looked at them and immediately started blushing as I realised they were all grinning at me. I have to admit, I'm not much good at talking about sex with anyone, British reserve and all that, so I was incredibly embarrassed as they broke into conversation about my nether regions. "If you don't get back to your workout right now, then I'm gonna come and kick your asses! Now get moving!" I shouted at them. "Kick our asses? But it looks like someone's already done that to you! Was it Kevin?" Joey asked with a smirk. I looked straight at him. "Right that's it! I always said you could stand to lose a few pounds Joe, come with me." I grabbed him before he could object and took him outside the front of the Jive building. The other guys followed us. "You guys, I want to complete your workout, and be done by the time Joe and I get back." I turned to Joe. "Run." I said quietly. "What?" He said in surprise. I held up a fist, and shook it as menacingly as I could. "Run." I reiterated. He started backing away from me, and I started jogging, fairly quickly, after him. "Whoa Jared! I was kidding!" He shouted over his shoulder. The other guys had started laughing. I turned and ran backwards for a few steps. "I want you guys done by the time we get back!" Then I turned, and started chasing Joey again. *** About an hour later, Joey and I ran in through the Jive main entrance, and ran straight to the studio, where Joey collapsed on one of the mats, while the guys started laughing. "Did you guys finish?" I asked them. "Yep." Justin replied. "And did you do it properly?" I asked them. "Yep." Justin answered again. "Really?" "Yes?" Justin answered edgily. "On the floor and give me 50!" I shouted at them. They complied, and repped out 50 push ups. I know for a fact that if they follow my training routine, they can't manage to do that, so I had to take them all through it again. Joe sat off to the side, red faced and wheezing. The other guys joined him about half an hour later, I was kinda pissed that they hadn't done as they'd been told, but I guess it's to be expected. After we finished, we all went to get changed. I was going home with Kevin at lunchtime, so I didn't want to stink, so we all showered as well. While we were getting showered in the cubicles, Joey shouted out to me from across the steam filled room. "I'm sorry Jared." He was still breathless from the running. "Joe it's ok, I wasn't really pissed, I've noticed that you guys, and the Boys too are both more open about talking about sex than I would ever have been before I met Kevin and all you guys. It's really ok." "Thanks man." Joe said again. "You'll come and get a bite to eat with us though won't you?" He finished. I was supposed to go home with Kev. "I'll have to speak to Kevin first, I was supposed to be going home with him at lunchtime." "Well invite him too." Joey shouted over the steamy room. The other guys all consented, and so I dried off quickly, got dressed, and went to find him. I couldn't actually remember where his studio was, so I had to go to reception to find him. The receptionist was very helpful (well, she wasn't until I flashed a few smiles at her, and allowed my arms to flex from the sleeveless t-shirt I was wearing. Then she was only too happy to oblige) and I found the boys' studio soon enough. I knocked on the door, and looked inside. It was a small, dark booth, and there was one guy sitting there. He motioned for me to come inside. "You're Jared right?" He asked me. I nodded to him. "Take a seat, the boys are almost done." I sat and looked through a glass opening in the booth into a bigger room that had several microphones hanging from the ceiling. The boys were standing together in one big group, and finishing the end of a song I didn't recognise. Finally, they sung one final note, and they cut off. "Great work guys." The sound guy said through a microphone on the desk in front of him. "Hey Kevin!" Kevin's head jerked up. "Someone here for you!" Kevin grinned through the glass, but I don't think he could see me as it was so dark in here. He walked towards the door into the booth, and it swung open, revealing him smiling happily at me. "Hey." He grinned at me. "Hey." I answered. "Oh for God's sake! He's gone too!" AJ muttered from behind Kevin. "Shut up!" Kevin snapped at him. "What does he mean I've gone too?" I asked Kevin. "He means that loverboy here has been walking around with this euphoric expression on his face all day, and he carries on day dreaming, then when we wake him up, he blushes this deep red colour. What did you guys do last night?" Brian finished, and I felt myself blushing before I could think to stop myself. "Oh for God's sake now he's at it too!" Brian said exasperatedly. The guys were all laughing, and they started to file out, as we said goodbye to them. "Shall we get going too?" Kevin asked. "Ummm...actually, Joey wanted to like apologise for something he did earlier, and he invited us two out with the rest of N'Sync." "Oh, ummm, ok, I guess that's ok, when does he want to go?" "I didn't really ask him. I guess sometime soon, as it's almost 1 now." "Ok, well let's go." He pushed me out the door, and said goodbye to the sound guy, and we headed down the hall. The N'Sync guys were all waiting in the lobby for us, and when we joined up with them, they said they wanted to go to lunch right away. They only wanted to get something light, so, after some hemming and hawing, we decided on sushi, and headed to a sushi bar. I love sushi. I thanked the Lord the moment they said a resounding yes to Chris' suggestion. As we were driving along, we were in Lance's mini-van, and there was Lance and Joey up front, me, Justin and Kevin in the middle, and Chris in the back, shouting to Joey in the front to get him to change the radio station. Justin leant over to me half way there. "Jared?" I turned towards him, and raised my eyebrows. "Um...Britney and I had a bit of a...a fight last night before she rejoined the tour." "What do you mean? What happened?" I asked him. "I'm not quite sure, but I think she was complaining about me being over-possessive, I guess I was being a bit over-bearing, I was going on a bit about how she should have less male dancers on her tour, and she thought I was just saying that she was automatically going to sleep with all the men on her tour with her. I wasn't, I swear. Look, ummm, I'm not sure how to ask this. I know that you know that I've been kind of jealous about how well you've got on with Britney and all, and I know she thinks you're good looking." He was still whispering, but I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks at his last comments. "But, would you mind, you know giving her a call? I could give you her number?" He asked softly. "I've got her number, it's ok. When do you want me to call her?" I asked him. "As soon as you can. Please? I miss her. We normally talk every morning when we wake up on the phone, but from what she said last night, I don't think she's gonna call me for a while. I really do miss her though." Justin's voice was becoming ragged. "Hey, it's ok, ummm, I'll call her later. I promise ok?" Justin nodded, and after taking a couple of deep breaths, smiled at me thankfully. The rest of the ride was peaceful, apart from Chris shouting in our ears every time Joey changed the radio station. Finally Kevin turned around. "If you don't shut up, you're gonna be listening to that radio at really close quarters, got it?" Chris shut up quickly enough. I knew Kevin was joking, even if Chris didn't. I'd got control of Kevin's temper, and I think he was a lot happier because of it. We sat in peace until we got there, and then piled into the restaurant/bar and the hostess led us to a table quickly. Justin picked up a salt shaker that was on the table, and started pouring it out onto the table, making patterns. JC Lance slapped him on the back of the head and told him to stop behaving like a big kid. We all had a good laugh as Justin blushed. Kevin turned to me. "Why are we out with these morons again?" He asked with a smirk. "Cos Joey doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut." I said in a similar tone of voice. "Oh, ok." Kevin answered without question, the other guys on the table sniggered. "Hey! Haven't you already punished me enough? I feel like my legs are gonna fall off!" Joey whined. "Huh? What did you do to him Jared?" Kevin asked. "I made him run a few miles. No biggie." "How'd you make him run a few miles?" Kevin asked. "I chased him." I said with a grin. Kevin chuckled, and the other guys joined in. Joey just looked at me with a pout on his lips. Our order arrived, and we all tucked in. I couldn't remember the last time I'd had sushi. Just as we were finishing off our meal, Kevin's phone rang in his pocket, and, quick as a flash, he answered it. "Hello Nick." He spoke into the phone, having first looked at the call display. >>>Nick's Point of View<<< "Hey Kev, listen I know it's short notice and everything but Berg offered to cook me dinner tonight, but I really want you and Jared to meet him now we're a couple, I know you've met him before and everything, but I really want Jared to meet him too. Do you mind if we come over this afternoon? We could just hang for a while?" I asked Kevin. He pondered for a moment. "Are you eating?" "Yeah, we're out at this sushi place with the N'Sync guys." He answered. "Oh, well either way, do you mind if we come over?" "No, I guess not, what time?" "Ummm, about 3:30?" I asked him. "Ok. See you then." Kevin replied, and he hung up. I was supposed to pick up Berg about 3. I got myself ready, and by the time I'd had a shower, got dressed and everything, it was almost time to get going. I drove over slowly, as I had left a little early, and when I arrived, I went straight up to Berg's apartment, I'm not sure I liked him living in a place that didn't even have a front door on the building. Maybe I could help him out with rent on a nice place if we got closer. Ok, so I'm thinking too far ahead, but it would be nice. I knocked on the door, and Berg answered and smiled when he saw me. "Hey Nick!" He smiled, and I pulled him into a hug and kissed him. He smiled again as we pulled apart, and I could feel a grin playing on my lips. "Hey you. Shall we get going?" I asked him. "Actually, I can't yet. Anna hasn't arrived to look after Laura yet. Just come on in, she hopefully won't be long." We went into the sitting room of the small apartment, and sat down. Laura's crib was a few feet away, and she was snoozing peacefully. Just then, the phone rang loudly. Laura woke up, crying, and Berg's eyes flicked between the phone and the baby before deciding to get the baby first. I put an arm in his way and told him to get the phone, and I'd get Laura. He thanked me and answered it on about the fourth or fifth ring. "Hello?" He said into the phone. "Hello?" He said a little more loudly. "Anna? Is that you? What's all that noise in the background?" He paused. "Oh. I see. Do you need any help? Right, ok. It's ok Anna, I understand. I'll speak to you soon. Ok, Bye Anna!" He turned around, and saw Laura resting peacefully in my arms. As I said, I love kids, mostly cos they love me too. "Ummm... I'm sorry Nick, but Anna says she can't make it. She and some of her friends broke down on the freeway. They've called Triple A, but they said it might be a while before they get up and running again." I nodded. "Do you have a baby seat for the car?" I asked him. He nodded. "Well, why don't we take her with us?" "Are you sure that's such a good idea, I mean, some people don't want a little baby around, and I don't want to impose on your friends. Why don't we just do this another time?" He seemed genuinely concerned, but I smiled at him and told him it would be alright, after all, Kevin loves kids. We picked up the baby seat, and fitted it into the back of my car, and we were on our way to Kev's house in no time. Berg was nervous, really nervous. He was fidgeting in his seat a lot, and even tried convincing me that this wasn't such a good idea. I just smiled, and drove calmly to Kevin's house. I really wanted Jared to meet Berg, and Kevin to meet him now that we were a couple. We arrived at Kevin's house about twenty minutes early, and despite Berg's protests that it was rude to come so early, I knocked, and a moment later, Kevin answered the door. I love Kevin's house, it was always feels so wide open and airy, and as we walked into the hallway, it was cool enough to be nice for the time of the year, considering it was still January. "Nice to meet you again Berg." Kevin shook his hand, while Berg juggled with Laura in his arm. "And who's this?" Kevin had a grin on his face. "This is Laura, my daughter." He said with a smile. "Well, she's just gorgeous, do you mind?" Kevin held out his hands, and Berg tentatively passed her over. Kevin held her to his shoulder, and smiled as her little hand gripped the collar of his t-shirt even though she slept on peacefully. Kevin would make a great dad someday. "Nick, umm, Jared's upstairs in our bedroom, would you run up and fetch him?" I nodded, and jogged up the stairs. I knocked on their bedroom door, and stuck my head around the opening. "Jared?" I asked out loud. "Hey Nick." Jared said as he put down some thick tome he was reading. "Jared, Berg's here with me, do you want to come down meet him?" I asked him. He nodded and smiled, and climbed off their big bed. I grinned as he followed me out the room. Once we got downstairs, we followed the sound of Kevin and Berg's voices to the living room. "So how old is she?" Kevin was asking as we walked in. "Just over 9 months." Berg smiled proudly at Kevin as he continued holding Laura. She was an adorable baby with fine blonde hair, I'm guessing from her mother's side. "Hey Nick." He said as I walked in through the room, then he froze when he saw Jared. "Berg, I'd like you to meet Jared." I introduced him. "Nice to meet you Berg." Jared started. Berg got a confused expression on his face, for just a second, then he returned the gesture. "Nice to meet you too Jared." Jared looked him over for a second. "You know, you look really familiar." Jared had a confused expression on his face. "Well, I don't think we've met before." Berg said quietly. Jared shook his head. "No, I don't suppose we have. Well, would you like anything to drink or eat you two?" Jared asked us. We both got something to drink, and we all sat down in Kevin's living room, talking about everything. They had a lot of questions for Berg, and he answered them, and Berg found out some more stuff about me and about Kevin and Jared from them. We had a really great time. Jared went into the kitchen a few times to grab snacks or drinks, but Kevin hardly moved from his position holding Laura. He was in heaven, a baby on his arm, and his lover by his side. I smiled at Kevin, and every time he looked up at me he grinned and blushed, confirming my suspicions. At around 6, Laura woke up, and she was cranky, so Berg decided we'd better be getting home, or to his home at least. He was still gonna cook dinner for me tonight. *** Berg fed Laura once we got home, and put her down in her crib. God! To be a baby again and sleep like 20 hours a day, I wish! When Berg came back into the kitchen, I stood up and kissed him. "I've been dying to do that for so long." I told him. "Well then, you should have done it sooner." He grinned. We embraced for a few more minutes, his arms felt really good around me. I loved his smell, it wasn't cologne. He'd told me that he didn't wear cologne, but it was him, the real him. It smelt slightly tangy, like a t-shirt you'd worn all day, but also very manly, I loved it. I was falling for Berg, and I couldn't help myself, and I didn't want to. "Nick, why don't you go and get comfortable in the sitting room? I'll put something in the oven, and I'll join you in a couple of minutes?" I nodded, smiled and kissed him again, and then went into the sitting room. The couch was a bit too soft, like the springs had gone, but it had a worn in feel to it, not like the furniture at my house which always felt like new. I hated it there, I even preferred Kevin's house, I'd spent all my time there if it didn't feel like I was intruding. The coffee table was too low for the sofa, and it was then I noticed that none of the furniture in the room matched, and although the colours that made up the furniture, and the wallpaper around the room seemed to match, on close inspection, it was because they were all pretty dirty. I guess Berg was worse off than I thought. The wallpaper was peeling in the top corner. I looked around a bit more, and noticed a folder, a big folder, leaning down the side of the couch It had a plastic front to it, but there was a big white sheet of paper in the way, I could feel there was something else inside. Call me nosey, I don't know, I was just curious. Berg was a reporter right? But he had no evidence of that around his home, no pictures, no newspapers or magazines, not even a computer to type the stuff up on. What was he doing? So I reached into the folder, and pulled out a small stack of papers, and photos. I started to flick through them. The photos were in three clips the first was of various people, sitting in their homes, or standing outside buildings, these looked more like family photos than anything, there was nothing particularly important here. The second clip was Laura. Nothing but. There was one of her on all fours, looking straight at the camera, her eyes gleaming bright, and a big toothless grin. Her hair was even thinner than it is now, the photo must have been quite old. Then there was another picture of Anna, Berg's baby sitter holding Laura. Laura's head was resting on Anna's shoulder, and she looked so peaceful. Another picture showed Laura sat bolt upright, on some kind of blanket or other, her blue eyes shimmering in the flash light. She looked so adorable. I was going to call Berg and tell him so when I realised there was another set of pictures. This was the biggest stack. The first was of The Houses of Parliament in England. Then there was one of the Tower of London, then the Eiffel Tower, the Arc D'Triomphe. The Brandenburg Gate, The Vatican, the Kremlin, the list went on, but they were all places we'd been to on our last tour. I was about to call Berg, when the last few pictures caught my eye. It was a picture of our hotel in London. It was late at night, but it was still clearly our hotel, the camera focused almost entirely on our floor. And, in the darkness, I could just make out the figure of...Kevin! There he stood, in his robe, looking over the edge of the balcony down towards the sidewalk below. I flicked over to the next one, and it looked to be the same night, the same time, but it was of the person standing on the sidewalk, it was Jared. He was looking up at Kevin, and he looked depressed, though I could only see half of his face, and even that was distorted, it was so dark. The next picture showed all of us at the Eiffel Tower, getting out of the limo, another one showed us outside the back of one of our concert venues, and we were obviously arguing, Kevin had that vein popping out on his forehead. I only had two pictures left now, but this was all making sense. Berg was a reporter. He had followed us around on our world tour hoping to get a story. Then I turned to the next picture and realised he had got a story. It was the picture from the newspaper, when Kevin had been outed. Berg had taken that? How could I have been so stupid. Berg was trying to out me too, but I wasn't sure of that until the next picture. It was me, and Berg, and we were kissing. How had he got this? It must have been a remote camera, but still. I could feel my breathing getting short. How could anyone be so cruel? And I'd fallen for him! Oh god, I was so stupid! I buried my face in my hands, but then I remembered where I was. I gathered up the photos again and put them back into the clips, at least the ones of Laura. I ran my hand affectionately over the pictures of her, I was gonna miss her. But I was gonna miss Berg too. I had to leave, to get out of here. I picked up the third lot of photos, without the clip on them, and walked through to the kitchen. "Berg!" I shouted at him, once I was in the kitchen. He turned. "Shhh! You'll wake up Laura!" He said in a loud whisper. "I don't give a fuck! How could you do this to me?" I questioned him, holding up the wad of photographs. He looked at them for a second, then looked back at me. "Hey! Those are my...photos...oh. I guess you've looked through them by now?" "You're damn right I have, and it's a good job too. How the hell could you be so fucking cruel? You're a sick bastard. I hope you crawl under a rock somewhere and die!" I shouted the last bit, and I flung the wad of photos in his direction, except for the one of me and Berg kissing, which I kept in my pocket. I stormed out the apartment, and slammed the front door. I heard Laura's scream break the silence which greeted me once I left the apartment, and I felt the urge to turn and get Laura, and hold her in my arms until she was quieted down, but I couldn't. I took off at a run, and once I was down on the ground floor, I jumped into my car, and drove as fast as I could to Kevin's house. >>>Berg's Point of View<<< "I guess I was right, huh?" I asked Laura, not expecting an answer. She was lying back in her crib now, fast asleep, and I ran my hand gently over her tummy, I knew my touch, no matter how light would help her sleep. "I can't believe I was so stupid, or I thought he was stupid. You had a nice day today didn't you? Being held by all those new people, or rather, all those good-looking guys huh? You're so beautiful, one day you're gonna be the most beautiful girl there is. You'll have guys who are even better looking than Kevin, or Nick, or Jared. I wish I knew how to afford all that for you. I don't know what to do Laura, I feel like I'm going insane." I put my hand on her forehead, and ran it down to her cheek, checking she was warm enough, then I went to get ready for bed myself. My head ached, and my stomach cramped, but I couldn't let it get the better of me, not while I had Laura. >>>Nick's Point of View<<< I almost crashed into Kevin's car as I pulled in beside him on his driveway, and jumped out my car and ran to the door. It was only about 8 o'clock, so I knew they'd still be up and everything. "Nick? Hey, um, what's wrong?" Jared said as he answered the door. "Jared, I was so stupid." I fell forward onto him, and wrapped my arms around him. I could feel tears running down onto my cheeks. "Nick don't be like that. What's wrong, what happened?" He led me through to the living room, where Kevin was sitting. Seeing the state I was in, he was at my side, and Jared was at the other. I proceeded to tell them everything about what had happened, Berg's pictures, how he'd followed us, the pictures of Kevin and Jared, how Berg was the one who had outed Kevin to the tabloids, and finally the one of me and Berg together, which just caused me to start crying again. Kevin sat down, he was angry, I could see it. Jared was sitting back, with a confused expression on his face. "That's it!" Jared exclaimed. "What? What's it?" Kevin asked. "Berg isn't called Berg. Berg is Leo Schemp. I met him in Rome, do you remember Kevin? When I had to go down to get a drink to get to sleep that night at the hotel, and I met that reporter? It was him, I knew he looked familiar!" "That would explain why he was so nervous about meeting you, and why he seemed so relieved when you just said hello to him." I said to him. I fell back to crying again. I knew there was nothing we could do, and when I realised that Berg still had the negatives to these pictures, it just made the situation even worse. I didn't know what to do. I stayed at Jared and Kevin's that night, I was so tired after crying for several hours that I just fell asleep on their couch, and I think Jared probably carried me upstairs. I would have to speak to Berg again, to try to get those negatives off him, or at least persuade him not to do anything with them. But for now, I just needed to sleep, pray not to dream. End of Chapter 36 TBC... I hope everyone liked this chapter, I know it's got a bit more drama than some of the previous ones, but I want to bring a bit more of that in now. I want to thank all the people who wrote to me after the last chapter, that was really nice, so please don't stop now!!! I want to know what you think! So I just want to say thank you to: Jimmy, Writer Boy, Ry, Rdr, HalfPint, Angel, Aeoros, Chris L, Jezebel, Tamara, and anyone else I might have forgotten! I'm really sorry if I've forgotten anyone. Oh yeah, and if anyone's at all annoyed that I spend so long getting out each chapter, then you can blame it one the fact that I read quite a few of the other stories on the archive, (see list above for particulars), so send emails to them to tell them off if you want me to get out my story quicker! Particularly to MidWestJames, author of 'My New Life' who seems to think it is a good idea to get his readers to do this to get him to write his work quicker, thanks a lot James! lol. Hope to hear from a lot of you soon! James
