If you're too young or offended hit the road. Justin and I walked out the door and towards my bike and climbed on when I turned to see Justin. "What?" Justin asked. "Wrap your arms around my waist and hold on tight." I said to him as I started the bike. Justin sat right up close to me and wrapped him arms around my waist and squeezed. We took off towards Dale and JC's house. We drove up their driveway and right to the front door. Justin climbed off and hit the doorbell. When they answered the door, they looked rather shocked. "What?" I asked following Justin into the house. "You own a motorcycle?" JC asked. "Nice bike," Dale commented. "Thanks," I said taking in the view of JC's house. It had a darker atmosphere than Justin's house. "We would have been here sooner, but some freak called my house. I think is was the same guy that gave me a present this morning." Justin commented like it was no big deal. "Man you are taking this very well. Some guy calls you and even hands you a bomb and you aren't scared." Dale said looking at Justin impressed. "Well, I thought this out. If he were a professional, he wouldn't walk right up to the gate. I figure he would have tried to break in or something." Justin said sitting down on the couch. "Jason, you an expert. Explain to us what a good way to kill someone is." Dale said looking at me with amusement on his face. "Just what is that supposed to mean," I asked surprise at his comment. I didn't say in anger, but more with a half-smile. "What, you're a bad guy, mobster, contract killer. A enforcer, a hitman, whatever you call it." Dale said bluntly. I just looked at him in shock. "You aren't one for beating around the bush, are you." I said to Dale. "Waist of time. Answer the question." He said sitting down to listen to me. "Well, if I were gonna kill someone the first thing I would do is familiarize myself him. His habits, schedule, friends, everything I can. I would learn everything I could about him. Will you excuse me for a second," I said getting up and walking out the front door. I soon walked in with the three folders I had grabbed at my house. I handed one to each of the three guys. They were labeled with their names. JC's and Dale's where still sealed, but Justin's was open. "The reason yours is open, Justin, is because I needed your address. Now, if you look, you will notice that these files contain information about each and everyone of you. Your likes, dislikes, everything. I didn't open them because I had gotten to know Justin and I couldn't, in good consciousness open them. When I am introduced to a new individual, I make it a point to know all there is to know about this person." I said sitting back and watching them look through their personal live on paper. "I can't believe, where did you get this?" JC asked. "I have a friend that does little shit like this for me." I said looking at them. I was more interested in the reaction I was gonna get. "I through out Lance's and Joey's and Chris's." "This is cool," Justin said. That stuck me as rather odd. "Justin, you like that I can get all that information about you?" I asked dumbfounded. "Well, not really. What I like is that you didn't look, except to get my address." He said looking at me. "I think it says something that you gave these to us and told us, instead of going through them." Dale said. "Jason, since you're being honest and everything. I have to tell you that I really didn't like you at first." JC said. "Not many do JC, but what I want to know is why you added 'at first'" I said looking at him. "Well getting to know you better, and the fact that you came from across the country to see Justin after the bomb scare this morning. If I didn't know better, I'd say you too were going together." JC said chuckling. There was a sudden silence among the room. "The truth is, guys, that were are." Justin said facing the guys. JC just looked at Justin in complete shock. Dale didn't at surprised at all. "So Dale, how long did it take you to figure it out?" I asked. "Well when you first arrived, the way Justin embraced you. The way you two kept making eye contact. It all added to one thing, but I didn't want to say anything," Dale said sitting next to JC, who know looked shock at Dale. "You knew and you didn't tell me. Well, you aren't getting' any tonight," JC said looking at his soul mate. I envied JC and Dale for what they had together. It made my heart warm to watch them show each other affection. I only hoped that Justin and I would someday have that. "Well, let's get some supper." I said standing up and helping Justin up. We walked out to Dale's car and headed towards the restaurant. "Justin what kind of table did you get us?" I asked with my arm around him in the back seat. "A table in the back against the wall and out of the way." Justin said grabbing my hand that was draped over his shoulder. We arrived at the restaurant and headed inside. We got a lot of stares, so there was no handholding. We walked to the podium and gave asked about our reservation. The guy looked at Justin and scanned his list. "Sorry sir, there is no reservation." He said to Justin. I was behind JC and Dale looking at a painting on the wall when I heard him say that. I walked around and looked at the guy as he looked up and took notice of me. "Mr. McLintock it is so good to see you." He said. "Hey Antonio, how have you been. You're looking good." I said shaking his hand. "Thank you sir. You're looking well yourself. What can I do for you tonight?" he asked. "Antonio, my friends and I would like a table. Something out of the way, nothing totally secluded, but where we won't be looked upon and be bothered." I said to him. He checked his sheets and called for a waiter. He whispered something in his ear. "Mark here will show you the table you desire. Have a good meal Sir." Antonio said smiling. "Thank you, we will." I said shaking his hand again as we followed the waiter to a table that was in a different room, but had a two-way mirror so we could see everyone else and they couldn't see us. "This is cool. I have eaten here before, but never at this table." Justin said watching people eat and fix their hair in the mirror. Mark seated us and asked for our drinks. "Give us all something easy to start. Water or lemonade, just surprise us." Dale said. "This table is for special guests that want to eat out, but not be noticed. What that, JC, is that you can finally kiss Dale and not check the area first." I said to JC and he gave Dale a great big kiss. Justin and I laughed and held each other's hands on top of the table. We enjoyed our meal, talking and joking around. We would look at people watching others eat and look back at their plates when the person they were watching looked their way. We would start laughing at husbands watching other guys asses, and vice versa. We had finished our meal and were enjoying brandy and scotch. All for Justin, he ordered a huge Oreo cookie, hot fudge sundae. I reached over to grab a piece of Oreo cookie and he hit my hand with the spoon. "Hey," I said rubbing my hand. I think he growled at me, but I wasn't sure. He took a spoonful of ice cream and moved the spoon towards me. I opened my mouth and he fed me the spoonful of ice cream. "There, happy." Justin said getting a spoonful for himself. "Well I'd rather have the person eating the ice cream instead, but this will do for now." I said to him smiling. I looked over at JC and Dale, who were by now in each other's arms. "Dale, have you ever heard of The Stone?" Justin asked between mouthfuls of ice cream. This immediately caught my attention. "Yeah. He makes Jason here look like a choir boy." Dale said holding JC hand. "Why?" "Jason was telling me about him," Justin said. This automatically diverted all attention to me. "It's nothing. We met a few times, that's all." I said sipping my bourbon. "That's not what you told me," Justin replied. "Can we just drop it," I said bluntly. "Dale in your line of work, you carry gun, right?" "Yeah, I'd be stupid not to," he said. "Well discuss you IQ later, what I want to know is what type of gun do you carry? What is you gun of choice?" I said filling my glass with more bourbon. "I like the Glock 9mm." Dale said grabbing his drink. "Glock is a good gun, very durable." I said. "I favor the colt .45" "Any backup piece?" Dale asked. "I carry two colts, but I also have a .38 revolver." I said to him "Damn, I'm gonna start calling you Rambo." Justin said finishing his ice cream. "You ate the whole damn thing," I interjected surprisingly. "Anyway, what backup do you have?" "It's also a 38, but a semi-auto, not a revolver." He answered. "Now, back to The Stone, what do you know about him?" Justin asked eagerly. Dale looked at me and noticed me rolling my eyes. "Justin, I don't think this is the right place to talk about him. We are all having a good time, so why bring it up?" Dale asked. "Because I want to know," Justin said sounding offended. "Justin I will tell you later, but for now will you please dropped it." I demanded. "All I want to do is sit here and enjoy the company, with out having to talk about my business." Soon after I looked through the two-way mirror and noticed some men sitting at a table looking around. "Guys, will you excuse me." I said getting up and walking through the door we came in. Soon after Justin noticed me walking up to these gentlemen and sitting down with them. "Dale, do you knows those guys." Justin asked pointing to the men I was sitting with. "Not off hand, but they are federal agents of some sort." He said looking at them. "How do you know that?" JC asked observing this turn of events. "Well, you see those pins on their lapels? Those are worn by feds. That and the way they are dressed. That fits federal agent dress codes." He said putting him empty glass down on the table. Soon after I came back to our table and grabbed my coat. "Where you goin'?" Justin asked. "We are all leaving, I think we spent enough time here. Let's go home or to a movie." I said looking at the guys. They looked at each other and got up and we started to leave. We walked out of the restaurant and towards the street to Dale's car. I noticed a car speeding down the street and saw Dale grab JC and drop to the ground. I pushed Justin to the ground and he hit with a thud. Justin landed face down and heard gunfire. He rolled to his side behind Dale's car and looked for me. He looked up and watched and I stood there, bullets ripping through me like I was just air and not even there. Justin screamed my name as I hit the ground in a bloody heap. Justin crawled over to me as the car speed away. "JASON, JASON SPEEK TO ME!" Justin demanded. There was already a puddle of blood around me. "SOME ONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!" JC and Dale hurried over to see how bad I was. Dale looked me over and looked at Justin, "Justin, it isn't good. I don't think he is gonna make it." Dale said softly. "He's gonna be ok. He's gotta be." Justin said in tears. Justin fell back and sat there crying. A crowd had gathered and watched. JC went to his friend and held him, hugging him to try to console his friend. Justin grabbed JC and cried uncontrollably into his shoulder. TBC....... I only received two emails on my last chapter. I figure there are more than two people reading this, al least I hope. I am not sure if this is that last chapter or not. It's not that I love getting email, who doesn't. I like it that people tell me what they think of the story. I don't mean to sound like an asshole or anything, if I come across that way, I am sorry. But if you want to take two seconds and me what you think I would really appreciate it. You can reach me at roczilla@hotmail.com thanks for reading, later
