None of this ever happened. I made it up. Got it? ::grin:: If you are too young to be reading this, please leave, or at least make sure you don't get caught. If you are homophobic (in which case I really don't know what you are doing here) I suggest you leave. Author's Note: Here is chapter 15. Finally! I know that it's been quite some time, and apologize for making you guys wait so long. But, there's also bad news. I have decided to end this story. Yes, I know, it was supposed to become a saga and go on for ever and ever, but I got so wrapped up in trying to keep it interesting, that I completely lost the feeling for the characters, especially Nick and Justin. I mentioned last time that I'd try and get the characters back, but I didn't succeed. So, as soon as they are married, this story is over. I hope you enjoy the last couple of chapters! And don't get too sad, I'm already tossing around ideas for a new story, so I won't be gone from the board for too long. Lance woke up and glanced at his alarm clock. It was only 5am, but he wasn't really tired anymore. He felt Kevin stirring next to him, but he only turned onto his stomach and fell back asleep. Seeing Kevin brought back the memories from last night. It had been wonderful Just wild, passionate sex. Lance knew that he didn't have any romantic feelings for Kevin, and he wanted it to stay that way. Last night had been a one-time thing, and he wasn't going to let it change things between them. The realization hit him all of a sudden. What if Kevin had seen more in it? What if Kevin wanted more, expected a relationship? Lance was sitting upright now, staring at the sleeping form next to him. His mind was reeling at the thought of hurting Kevin's feelings by rejecting him. "Kevin, we have to talk." Lance said, while gently shaking the sleeping Backstreet Boy. Kevin sat up, glancing at the alarm clock, then at Lance. "You do know what time it is, don't you?" He asked. His voice still had that scratchy 'I-just-woke-up' sound to it. "I'm sorry, but I just want to talk to you about last night. I don't know what happened, exactly. I--I guess I just wanted to make sure that we are on the same page." Lance whispered. Kevin nodded, he understood. "Yeah, you're right. We should make sure that we know exactly where we stand." Kevin didn't know what to say. He knew that last night had been a one-time thing. He had never had anything with another guy and considered himself to be perfectly straight. He had enjoyed the sex, but it wasn't something he ever wanted to do again, especially not with Lance. They were just friends, and Kevin didn't want to change that. But neither did he want to hurt the other man's feelings. What if Lance had read more into this little episode? "Kevin, look..." "Lance, I..." They started speaking at the same time, then both broke off. Lance smiled slightly. "You go first." He offered. "Lance, I don't know how you feel, but for me, what happened last night was...it was only sex. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't have any deeper feelings for you. You're a friend, a very good friend, but just a friend. I hope I am not hurting your feelings." Kevin looked over at Lance to see his reaction. To his surprise and relief, Lance seemed okay. "That's exactly how I feel. I'm so glad that we feel the same way. I would have hated to have to reject you But I do have one question: are you gay? You don't have to answer, I was just wondering." Lance grinned kind of sheepishly. Kevin just shook his head. "Nope, straight. What about you?" he asked in return. "I'm bi. But don't tell anyone. They don't know and I'd like it to stay that way." Lance replied. "Okay, now that that's out of the way, do you think you could let me go back to sleep?" Kevin asked. Lance laughed, then nodded. "Yeah, let's get some more sleep. We'll get our wake-up call in exactly two and a half hours." "I wonder what that big announcement it." Joey said as he was standing in front of his closet, trying to pick out a shirt. It was 6pm, and they were supposed to meet in the lobby in twenty minutes. Justin and Nick had invited the other guys out to dinner, promising a 'big announcement'. Howie sat down on the bed and began tying his shoes. "Maybe one of them is pregnant." He guessed. Joey grinned and turned around. "I wouldn't put it past them, but I do think it is rather unlikely. Does this shirt go with my pants?" Howie looked up, then pretended to faint. "I don't know why they haven't already hired a personal fashion consultant for you." He finally got out between fits of laughter. "Does that mean it doesn't match?" Joey asked, pouting. "No, the shirt goes with the pants. But it doesn't go with the shoes, and it definitely clashes with your hair." Howie said, still laughing. But he did get up and picked out a shirt that matched. Joey put it on and together they left the room. Everyone else was already in the lobby. They climbed into the waiting limousine and drove off. Justin and Nick were sitting next to each other, they hands interlocked. Nick looked like he was glowing, and Justin was smiling a smug little smile. "You know what?" Joey whispered to Howie. "I think you were right." "Right about what?" Brian asked, who had overheard Joey. "Howie suggested that one of them is pregnant." Joey explained. Brian grinned. "You do know that that's physically impossible, right?" "You never know." Howie said in an ominous kind of voice. Brian rolled his eyes and looked away. His eyes wandered over to the other couple. He had always though that Nick and Justin could get really sickening when they started making out with the guys around. But AJ and JC were even worse. As soon the as the doors of the limo had closed, they had started kissing and hadn't even come up for air since. Brian was about to make a comment, when the limo came to a halt and the driver opened the doors. The guys got out and entered the restaurant. They were seated right away and the table was a secluded booth in a corner of the room. Justin had made sure to request a table with some privacy when he made the reservations. The guys sat down and began reading the menus. The waiter showed up rather quick, and soon they all had their drinks. After the waiter left again, Nick started speaking. "There something Justin and I wanted to tell you guys. And no, Howie, we are not pregnant." Nick said, glaring at Howie who was blushing. "Well, what is it then?" Chris asked impatiently. "Nick and I got engaged." Justin announced. ---------------- Well, that's it for now. I'll be out of town for a week, and I don't know yet if I'll have access to a computer. If I do, I'll post the next chapter within that week, but if I don't I'm gonna have to make you wait yet again. I'm really sorry. As always, feedback is appreciated. Take care j
