Note From Author: I know that Nick and Jess are still married and i wish

Were we left off....

"The guys told me that they started talk to you earlier, and they said that
i owed you details. Now, i feel like i can trust you and so do the
guys. So.. if i tell you this you have to promise me that this is not going
to get it."

"I promise" I said with a smile. Nick smiled back.

"As you heard.. Jessica and i have been on the rocks lately. Well, this
morning i received a letter from her. A very heartfelt letter, and i
received a letter from her lawyer too."

"Her lawyer???"

"Ya.. Jess wants a Divorce"

--------------------- Shut Up - Scene 4 ---------------------

"Nick.....i....i'm so sorry!!" I didn't know what to say. I was
speechless. I hadn't known Nick for all that long but i did know that he
had loved Jessica. Or so we thought he did. We had all seen him on TV, but
i had no idea that things were so rough.

"Dont be be!!" Nick was blowing it off like it was nothing.

"What do you mean??"

"I'm not going to worry about it. Things weren't working for me, so if she
wouldn't have broken it off.... i would have" Nick cracked a small smile.

"Why ... i mean .. what went wrong?"

"Something just wasn't clicking for me i guess. I love jess and i always
will.. as a friend. I'm not going to say that it was a mistake because we
did have some great times. But after awhile i realized that Jessica wasn't
the one that i wanted."

"Is there someone else??" I was kind of astonished. I didn't beleive what i
was hearing! Nick Lachey might have been haveing feelings for someone else
besides his wife.

"No.. well.. not yet anyway. I just felt that it wasn't right. The guys are
worried and i know that they are. Jessica and i are going to meet when her
she gets a few days off to discuss everything. I signed all the papers and
had them sent in today. We are agreeing for an anulment b/c i want whats
mine and she feels the same way. Its going to be like it never happened."

"Nick, i hate to be the one to say but you have been with her for almost
four years. I mean.. she gave you a gift that she can't give any other
man. if you know what i mean."

"Since when have you been sooo sappy? I know this.. and so does she. She
filed for divorece remember.. not me. She's the bad guy not more. There is
also a little more on her part that she's not telling me. I'm not going to
worry about it until we talk. For now i just want to live my life as a
single man.. well.. for now anyway"

Nick gave me one of his great smiles that just made me smile. I stood up
and so did Nick. He then pulled me in to a hug. I ran my hands up and down
his smooth back. I didn't mean anything sexual by it, but when i realized
that other body parts thought that was what i meant i quickly released and
stepped back.

"Is something wrong?" Nick said with a funny look on his face.

"No.. nothing. I just kinda have to use the restroom. You'd better getting
changeing boy so we dont' miss all the fun!" I said laughing.

Nick smiled and walked into the bathroom untieing his sweatpants along the
way... he stepped into the restroom and then stuck his head out.

"Your more than welcome to share the bathroom with me if you'd like...." He
just stared at me.

I was speechless. I'm sure it was just a friendly act but it was really
looking like something else.

"No thanx nick. I can hold it."

"If you say so.. Give me 2 minutes." Nick smiled as he closed the door. I
quickly grabbed my bag and changed into my trunks before Nick came back
out. I had on swim trunks that went about to my knees. They are all black
with yellow hawaiian flowers on them. I had a white hawaiann shirt that
matched. I just left it hanging open to show off my well developed chest.

A few minutes later Nick came out wearing Trunks and his muscle tee. He
looked at me and then looked away to the phone. He called the guys to see
if they were ready and they were already downstairs waiting.

"We'd better get going before they leave without us" Nick said

"Ya.."

Nick put his arm around my neck, but this time it felt a little different.

Nick and i had arrived downstairs. We all piled into my car. Jeff and I up
front and the other 3 in the back. I looked over to Jeff and nodded my
head. He smiled and i smiled back. We drove for almost an hour. Probably
more because Drew had to stop at every rest stop. We eventually got to the
beach. There was only a few people out so we pracctially had the whole
beach to ourselves. We set up a volleyball net. We played a few quick
games, but decided that it quickly bored us. Justin decided that he wanted
to go for a walk down the beach looking for seashells. Drew decided that He
wanted to go also. The two of them walked off leaving Me, Jeff, and
Nick. Jeff was half asleep laying on a beach towel. He had only his
speedo's on that he had chosed to wear. He looked great and well
defined. Nick had jumped into the water about 20 minutes ago and looked
awesome when he was wet.

Nick and I started talking.

"Can i ask you something personal?" Nick said.

"Sure."

"Do you have anybody back home?"

"What do you mean?"

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"O.. of course not. I wouldn't be clubbing looking for people if i did."

"Do you ever feel lonely?"

"Sometimes.. but i know that right person is there for me .. somewhere."

I looked out to the water. After a minute or so i had noticed that Nick
didn't say anything. I looked over and he was just stareing out as i was.

After a little while of sitting that it was time to go swimming. I stood up
and asked Jeff to hand me a bottle of sun tan lotion. I started to do my
arms and legs, but then realized that i couldnt' get my back. I think that
Nick had noticed.

"You need a little help?"

"If your not buisy.."

"Naw... i need some more on my back anyway. U do me and i'll do you" He
smiled and let out a little laugh.

Nick walked over to me and i handed him the bottle. He squrted a little
into his hand and handed it back. He started to rub the lotion around in
his hands and then put his hands at my shoulders and started to rub in
small circles. He then put his hands on my shoulders and started to slowly
massage them. He moved from my shoulders to the middle of my back. Rubbing
in the lotion in small circles. And massageing a little. He slowed down a
little when he got to the small of my back and he just rubbed sowly from
one hip to the other. He then looked at me and said...

"My Turn!"

I laughed because he sound like a little kid. I took the lotion and skirted
it onto his back. I then began to rub my hands all around his muscualar
back. I could tell that he had worked hard to make his body what it
currently was today. I let my hands explore every inch of his back. I then
stopped at his shoulders after giveing him a small massage like he had done
to me.

Just then Jeff propped himself up. I quickly removed my hands. Nick looked
at me.

"Why'd you stop?"

"Sorry...Um..i just didnt wan to put to much on."

Nick shrugged it off.

"So whens my turn?" Jeff said with a smile as he stood up brushing off some
sand.

Nick squirted some of the lotion in his hand and directed Jeff to come to
him. Nick began to put lotion on his back.. but in a different
way. More.. more... 'basic'.

They stopped and Jeff yelled. "I'll race ya!!!" as he sped off to the
water. Nick ran after him and i followed after Nick. We all three hit the
water in that same order.

We spend the next half hour or so just swimming around and dunking one
another. I was the first to step out of the water and walk up grabbing a
towel. Jeff followed shortly after while Nick stayed in the water. Jeff
rand up to where i was and started to chat.

"So.. i'm assumeing thing went well this morning?"

"If your hinting about Nick.. ya.. he told me."

"Drew and I told him that he basically owed it to you. I mean.. he hasn't
known you long, but we basically didn't want leave ya hangin. We all trust
you to."

"Nick seems to be in a really good mood."

"Ya.. any other time Nick would down and out for awhile. We've seen it
happen. But something has been different about him. I just can't put my
finger on it."

I smiled just as Nick came up.

"We haven't seen Drew or Justin in awhile... i wonder if the're ok?!"

"I'm sure they are Nick.. u know Drew.. AND justin!" The two of them
laughed.

"I don't know about you guys but i have to let loose if you know what i
mean. I'll catch up with you guys in ab out ten minutes" Jeff said as he
hurried off to the bathroom. Nick laughed as he looked at me with a grin.

"So... are you haveing fun?"

"Heck ya, this is way better than anything else i could have done by
myself. Thanx for the invite."

"Your always welcome.. So you go back tomorrow hunh?" Nick said that with a
little dissapointment.

"Dont' seem so excited i said with a laugh. Ya.. i think i'm just going to
head back to LA and take my VK there. I'm not into all the excitement if
you know what i mean."

"I know exactly what you mean. So what do you have planned for your last
big night in Florida?"

"Not sure yet... i thought of just relaxing. The hot tub's down so thats
out for the count...."

"You don't have a hot tub in your room?"

That comment made me laugh a bit.

"No Nick.. i'm not working for the record label in the same way you are."

"Well.. the other three are going out tonight. I don't really feel like the
club scene. I mean.. i still have two weeks to party. Would you mind a
little company?"

Nick kind of surprised me with that question. "No.. not at all. I've gotten
kinda used to hangin out with you guys"

"Well.. the public tub is out, but mine isn't. There is complimentary
cristal in the fridge. We could just have a good relaxing night"

"I didn't realize you were the champagne type."

"Its free.. who cares what is" Nick said with a laugh. "I also have beer if
you'd prefer that"

"I'm easy to please."

That day when pretty much like clock work. We spent another hour or so at
the beach and waited for Drew & Justin to get back. They came back. We all
piled into my vehicle and went back to the hotel. I told Nick that i would
see him later. I went up to my room. At that point it was probably around
7. I was going to meet Nick at 8.

I showered and put on a semi suit. It had the black dress pants. the black
shoes. The black suit jacket. And then it had a yellow button up shirt
except you weren't supposed to buy it.

I had bought the suit a few years ago. I always bring it on trips but i
never wear it. Tonight i figured it would look good.

I went to the top floor and just as as i was stepping off the elevator i
saw Drew. He whistled.

"Lookin good" He said holding out his hand as usual.

"Thanx man."

"You comin out with us?"

"Nope.. i'm here to see Nick"

There was a slight pause as his look suddenly went from very happy to a
little blank. "Nick?"

"Ya, is there a problem with that?"

"Look, i like you Jason. But i got weird vibes from the first time that i
met you. I noticed at the club that you weren't checking out anybody. But
when you went to the next club the people seemed to get you going. The
shirtless guys that is." I looked away. "I'm not trying to say that there
is anything wrong with that. My wifes best friend and my hair stylist are
both gay. I'm not trying to offend you. Im asking for your help"

I was a bit surprised by that.

"You see.. Justin and I were talking about Nick while we were on our little
walk today. We came across the opinion that Nick might just be sexually
frustrated. A few weeks ago Nick called me saying that he couldn't get
excited about sex with Jessica." That caught my attention. "I'm sure you
know were all this could lead. He's not affected by brakeing up with
Jessica he's just not even sad at all wich is not him at all."

I nodded and tryed to look sympathetic towards Drew. He really cared for
his brother and i could tell that he only wanted the best. No matter what
the best was.

"We were hopeing that you could talk to him..."

"Why Me?!?!?"

"Well.. i know that when i have troubles with Lea i like to talk to Justin
or Jeff. Its nice to talk to someone that is feeling the same way you
are. Or you might be..."

"I see, Drew... i just came up here to spend some time with a newly aquired
buddy. I'm not going to mess up our friendship by asking him if he has
feelings for guys!! I'm sorry but i just can't do that."

Drews expression kinda dissapeared. "I see.. well, i was just asking. If it
comes up. Dont' be afraid" He patted me on the back as he pushed the
elevator button and got in.

I was a little surprise about what i had just heard. But was i going to
just come out and ask Nick if he was gay?? Heck No!

I started to walk down the hall again. I knocked on the door and almost
instantly the door opened.

I saw Nick standing there in Jeans.. not just any. They jeans were ripped
everywhere. Even in the crotch i could see he had on some black boxers. I
looked up. He had on a 'wife beater'. It was also torn. I assumed that it
was to match the jeans. If he wasn't rich and famous i would say that he
looked like a bum. But i knew that wasn't his goal because his hair was
styled and he had shaved. He also smelled really good.

"Hey!" Nick greeted me with a HUGE smile and a qick hug.

"Hey.." I was a little surprised but i walked in.

"Hungry?"

"A little i guess. I haven't" Nick cut me off.

"Good. I ordered some dinner. I really wasn't sure what you liked so i just
ordered a little of this and a little of that follow me. "

Nick had me by surprise. He realy goes out of his way or his
friends. Especailly ones that he just met! I would love to see how he
treats his current friends.

Nick walked through the bathroom to the bedroom. I could see the hotub. It
was covered but i could here it running. Nick opened a set of slideing
glass doors. The porched was iluminated by the city around us. You could
see the ocean in the distance. I smiled. The only light besides the city
ligts were two small candles on the table that was FULL of food!

"Nick, we were just supposed be relaxing. You didn't have to order all of
this. Especially just for me."

"I know.. i just didn't want you to forget me..."

"Forget you? Nick..i'll see you constantly over the next month!"

"I sure hope so. Well, have a seat and lets get eatin. We don't want to
have to let all of this food go to waste now do we?!" He said that with a
grin as we dug in.

We had some good conversation about the direction of his career and the
diretion of the band as a whole. He also surpriseingly asked about
Jessica's career. They had planned to do some songs together on an upcoming
joint cd. I told him that i thought it would be a good idea to keep that
going b/c we don't want the public to be mad at them for brakeing up. He
agreed and said that Jessica wouldn't care. About 45 minutes after we had
started eating.. we were done.

"Wow Nick.. that was awesome. I have to congradulate you on that."

"Its not like i cooked it. I do know what to order though!" He said that
with a grin. "So.. whats next?"

Laughing... " I dunno Nick.. this is your room. How about that glass of
champagne your were talking back."

"O.. yes. I have an idea.. you get your trunks on and i'll change and grab
some of the bubbly"

"Its a deal"

He walked in and so did i. He went passed the bathroom and i stayed. I
slipped on the trunks that i had brought with me and slipped a robe around
me. I opened the door and went into the bedroom. A few seconds later Nick
came in, in his suit. He pushed a button and the cover rolled itself up and
went under the tub. Nick stepped in and set the glasses beside the tub. He
then got comftorable and leaned back. I dropped the robe and walked in. He
then looked up and smiled.

Nick handed me a glass of champagne and we did a small toast. Not to
anything in particular. Just a small toast. I took a drink and set my glass
down. Nick did the same thing.

"You know.. i don't bite" Nick said after a minute brakeing the aqward
silence.

"Hunh?" I had no idea what he was talking about.

"The heat and jets are over here.. there is room for two on my side ya
know."

"I know.. its just that..."

"Don't be shy.. we are all friends. Aren't we?!?"

I nodded and gave in. I moved over only about 3 inches from his. He again
broke the silence.

"I'm glad that i had a chance to get to know you. Its not everyday you meet
someone from the label that is as kewl and down to earth as everyone around
you."

"Ya.. i try to be. Its not like i ever talk to the owner anyway.. i just do
my thing and he does his if you know what i mean."

"So tell me a little about yourself."

"What do you want to know?" I said this smileing at Nick.

"Where did you grow up.. What do you do in your free time.. When was your
first kiss.. Are you haveing fun?"

I smiled.. trying not to laugh. "I grew up in NYC. It was rough growing
up. Especially being different from a lot of people."

"What do you mean?"

"O, its nothing really."

"You dont' have to be embarrased or anything. You can trust me."

"Nick, its not that. I do want to tell you. Its just that I don't want you
to get the wrong idea or anything."

"The wrong idea?"

Nick gave me a funny look as i moved back to the other side of the tub. I
leaned back and took a deap breath.

"I'm not like most guys, Nick. Its hard for a lot of people to tell.. but
i'm gay. I don't act girly because thats not me. I just like being me, and
i'm sorry if i offend you. Its just that i didn't want to just come out
with that because someone people get offended" Nick didn't say a word. He
just set his glass down and scooted over to me. "You don't have to act any
different. If you a problem with me just say. I'm used to being rejected
by.."

Nick cutting me off by putting his fingers on my lips and makeing a little
shooshing noise. He then leaned in and kissed me. At first it was innocent
and then i could feel his tongue splitting my lips and glideing in. I lost
it and my tongue followed his lead by exploreing every place in his
mouth. I felt his feet go by mine and his left arm was place on my leg. His
right arm moved to my face. It was then that i realized what was happening
and i kind of jumped back a little. Startling Nick.

"What did i do????" Nick looked a bit scared.

I was speechless and just looked at him.

"I'm sorry, i shouldnt' have done that." Nick started to stand up and he
stood up stepping out of the tub.

I then came to my senses for the second time that night and jumped up after
him. I put my hand on his shoulder and spun him around a little bit. I
smiled at him and then Kissed him lightly on the lips. He puts his arms
around my waist and i put my hands on his arms.

"You did nothing wrong Nick. Its just that.. i wasn't expecting it. Thats
all."

"I figured you would be.. i've been trying to drop you little hints for a
long time."

"Am i the reason you and Jess broke up because if i am then please don't
let that be."

"No, Jess and i have been haveing problems lately. Well, i have
anyway. I've come to the realization after being with Jessica for so long,
that she's not really what i want. And then yesterday you came along. I
didn't know if you were gay or not at first but i figured if you were you'd
be the one i'd wanna 'hang' with if you know what i mean."

"Does anybody else know?"

"Not that i know of."

"I .. um .. think that Drew might."

"Drew?? How would he know? I haven't told anybody!"

"I saw him in the hallway on my way up here. He and i kind of argued and he
found out i was gay. He already knew i guess. Wich i'm sure you thought you
knew to. He said something about 'sexual frustration'. He wanted me to talk
to you about it and see if i could get anything out of you.

Nick kind of get tense. "Don't be mad at him. He just wants the best and i
think his brother batting for the other team might scare him a little if
you know what i mean."

"Ya, your right. Can i kiss you again?"

"You don't have to ask"

With that i leaned up and kissed Nick passionatly like the first time. He
let his hands slide up and down my back. It felt good. He broke the kiss.

" I hate to ask this but i think that i have to. I also want to tell you
that i have never been with a guy. I've never even kissed a guy before. So
i might not be all that experienced if you know what i mean."

"Nick... thats ok. I've only kissed one guy and we never went any farther
than that."

"I feel a little better now."

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news..but i think a lot of people aren't
going to be takeing this the same way that i did."

"I've thought of that already and i don't want to have to worry about that
right now. What do you say we get back in the tub?" Nick said this with his
usual sly grin..

He hopped in the tub splashing warm water all over the place. I started to
step in but he grabbed my arm and pulled me into him. I feel back and i
fell almost on top of him. I put my lips on him as he moved his hands
around my back again. This time they stopped right on the small of my back,
and craped to my but. I still had my shorts on but it still felt good. I
hands were on the bottom of the tub so that i wasn't completly smashing
him.

I could feel Nick's dick growing underneath of mine. I knew that was going
to lead to the growth of my own. Nick started to massage my ass a little as
i made a soft moaning sound.

"OH MY GOD!"

Ahh.. the ever hated cliffhanger! I kinda hate writing them myself.
Haha. Well... i didn't want this story to start with sex like so many of
them do. So i'm giveing it time. I want to give thanks to the following two
