It was a seedy club where a lot of bikers seemed to be hanging out. And I didn't really fit the part of a biker. 'Eric, you're going to have to be careful on this one,' I told myself as I climbed out of the car. Slowly I made my way to the door. Loud music penetrated the walls and doorway and I took a deep breath. 'Here goes into heterosexual territory.' Too often bikers had the stereotype of being so macho that anything that would appear to deflate their testosterone would be considered a threat. The fact that I'm gay would put me in that category as well. I decided I'd have to be real careful, and I entered the bar. The song came to an end as I looked around for a table. Finding none, I decided to sit on the bar stool and I sat down. "Can I get you something to drink?" the bartender asked. "Give me a Pepsi," I replied. The bartender looked at me, smiled slightly, and proceeded to dispense the liquid into a glass. She handed me the glass, I paid her, and then turned my attention to the musicians. The lead singer was a goofy looking guy, very lanky and just plain weird to look at. He had one of those obnoxious personalities that people either enjoyed or despised. "Hello, patrons," he said with a surfer dude accent. "For our last number, we're going to introduce you to the act you've all been waiting for. Hit it!" The guitar started out followed by another guitar and drums. It was definitely rock and roll music. Not that I minded, really. And then the words came: 8 o'clock, Monday night and I'm waitin' To finally talk to a girl a little cooler than me. Her name is Dinah, she's a rocker with a nose ring, She wears a two way, but I'm not quite sure what that means. And when she walks, All the wind blows and the angels sing. She doesn't notice me! Cause she is watchin' wrestling Creamin' over tough guys Listenin' to rap metal Turntables in her eyes It's like a bad movie She is lookin' through me If you were me, then you'd be Screamin' "Someone shoot me!" As I fail miserably, Tryin' to get the girl all the bad guys want. She's the girl all the bad guys want! She likes the godsmack and I like agent orange Her cd changer's full of singers that are mad at their dad She says she'd like to score some reefer and a forty She'll never know that I'm the best that she'll never have And when she walks, All the wind blows and the angels sing. She'll never notice me! Cause she is watchin' wrestling Creamin' over tough guys Listenin' to rap metal Turntables in her eyes She likes 'em with a mustache Racetrack season pass Drivin' in a Trans-Am Does a mullet make a man? It's like a bad movie She is lookin' through me If you were me, then you'd be Screamin' "Someone shoot me!" As I fail miserably, Tryin' to get the girl all the bad guys want. She's the girl all the bad guys want! She's the girl all the bad guys want! She's the girl all the bad guys want! A blonde girl that looked no older than Sarah came out of a door to the side of the stage and walked passed the band. The lead singer looked at her and started singing. It was quite humorous because she was wearing exactly what he sang. There she goes again With fishnets on, and dreadlocks in her hair She broke my heart, I wanna be sedated All I wanted was to see her naked! The blonde girl, Dinah by name if the song was any indication, chuckled at the singer's line and approached the bartender. They whispered something but it was too hard for me to understand. Instead I listened to the band finish out the song, though I never let her leave my site. I was pretty sure she was the new Slayer. Now I am watchin' wrestling Tryin' to be a tough guy Listenin' to rap metal Turntables in my eyes I can't grow a mustache And I ain't got no season pass All I got's a moped...moped....moped..... She's the girl all the bad guys want! (There she goes again) She's the girl all the bad guys want! She's the girl all the bad guys want! (There she goes again) She's the girl all the bad guys want! She's the girl all the bad guys want! The crowd cheered the song. "Thank you," the singer said as he left the mike. Dinah came up on stage the crowd went wild. After a short while, Dinah calmed them and asked them to relax. "Thanks, Gabe," she said. "Whew, that was a good one, huh?" Everyone cheered and whistled at the girl. I couldn't believe these grown men were treating her as nothing more than a sex object. "Let's get this party going!" she screamed and the band started playing. I sat for the next two hours listening to her sing and waiting for the music to end. She had a talent for singing and I enjoyed her voice tremendously. But the men in the room were being so obnoxious that it was getting on my nerves. Finally, she did her last number and I got up, moving toward the stage. "Dinah!" I called as she stepped off the stage. "Get out of the way, pansy," one guy said to me. "Let her sit with a real man!" "I don't want her to sit with me," I replied. "Well, you'll have to wait your turn! She can't sleep with more than four guys at a time! At least, that's what my buddies and I are thinking!" He laughed along with his friends. I just rolled my eyes. Dinah moved close by me and I grabbed her arm. She stopped in her tracks and looked up at me. Then she went into action, spinning my arm around and flipping me over onto my back. I landed on the floor with a thud. The crowd laughed harder at seeing this "pansy"get his butt whipped by a teenage girl. But Dinah wasn't laughing. She looked at where her hand still held my wrist. Then her eyes met mine. "We need to talk," I said to her. A moment later she and I were outside in the back alley away from her fans. "Who are you?" she asked. "I'm a friend who knows what you are going through." "What does that mean?" "You saw what you did back there, the way you flipped me." "That's just because you're a faggot." "Oh, no," I said. "That's hardly the case. If it were any of those bikers, you could have done the same to them. You've become stronger, haven't you? You've felt it, sensed it deep within." "So, what's your point? It could just be hormones." "It could. Or it could be something you would never believe possible." "Hey, I gave you your minute to talk. I'm heading back in." Dinah turned to see the four bikers who were talking rudely about her standing a few feet away. "Hey, pretty thing," their leader said as he moved closer. "This pansy ass trying to be straight or something?" The country as a whole had become lenient concerning gay rights. But you will always find your ignorant assholes that don't change with the times. This guy was one of them. "Hey, Earl, it's fine." "Sure it is. Just like you. He probably realized he couldn't get it up with you. Even if he could, it probably nearly isn't as big as mine." With that, Earl opened his fly and let his six-inch flaccid cock hang out. "That's a nice one, isn't it?" I stepped between him and Dinah. "You are a sick bastard," I replied. "She isn't even eighteen yet and you treat her like this!" "Just wait till you see how I treat you after her." An idea came to my mind, a little test to be sure that the Watchers were right. "Maybe I should let her kick your ass," I replied and turned around to face Dinah. I whispered, "Here's where I prove to you I know what's going on." I walked behind her to watch her do her thing. If she wasn't the Slayer, I could easily step in and stop the guys. If she was the Slayer, she was going to kick the asses of these guys. And I would enjoy it. The guys stepped close to her and Earl put his hand on the back of her head. "Just ease on down there and give it a lick," he replied. "No," she said. "What?" "I said no." Earl chuckled and put pressure on the back of her head. I watched as his hand strained and his face turned red with the strain he was putting on her. Finally two of his friends moved around to grab her and help. Dinah didn't let that happen, though. She swung her leg out sideways and kicked the biker to her right. He flew up against the wall and some of the brick cracked and crumbled with the impact. Then her right fist swung around and she punched the guy to her left, launching him against the dumpster. Her left hand went up and grabbed Earl's wrist and she pried it off of her head. Then she let her right fist fly and hit him square in the chest knocking him backwards. The fourth guy ran back to their motorcycles which were sitting a few feet away. He pulled out a shotgun and took aim at her. Dinah just stood there not doing anything. Then she opened her mouth and this loud screech poured forth. I clutched my ears, as did the other guys, and watched as the sound not only hurt ears but the buildings nearby. The sound vibrations were causing the mortar to crack. The shotgun shattered in the biker's hand and the gas tanks on the motorcycle erupted. Then the sound died down and Dinah stood there. Slowly she turned and looked at me wide-eyed with shock. I pulled my hands away from my ringing ears and walked up to her. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she fell forward. I caught her before she could hit the ground. Wrapping my arms behind her head and under her legs, I lifted her up and carried her down the alley. I walked past the armed biker who stared as we passed him. If my senses weren't mistaken, it smelled as if he soiled himself. I got her to my car and placed her in the passenger side. Then I climbed in and drove out of the parking lot heading toward the Center. This would be the most logical place to put her. I didn't want to raise any suspicions regarding why a strange girl was staying at my house. The Center gave me the perfect place to keep her safe as well as have contact with her without it seeming inappropriate. To Be Continued...
