Subject: Tales of the New Phoenix - Update

Update Yo!

So I'm almost done with the back list of Chapters I need for the new
storyline. When I have it done, expect chapters once every two weeks. I
know it's a big space between posts, but I want to ensure that I have
stories posted even when my writing is on block, or I'm crazed from study.

I will give a little away about what to expect from the story. The Batman,
Superhero Band, Marvel Knights, and Young Mutant series are all based back
in 2001... well my series will be based now, in 2003. This was a decision
on my part, I just don't remember the specifics of what happened that year
in the way of culture. The only thing I remember vividly was coming out,
and 9/11.

The characters will face a new type of threat. Something that has been
touched on here and there in the series, but not something that you all
will expect so much. Also, they will be fighting something that is there
but not. I know that hint will be blatant to some, and baffling to some, I
just needed to say it.

I left off the last storyline with the death of a main char, and made some
of you mad. Well, please, keep reading. There will be something big going
down. A change in my series.

One thing I will tell you all is you should read Laurell K. Hamilton's
series "Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter". I will be incorporating her writings
and universe into my new storyline. I can't help it. She is the best writer
I've ever read. Her writing is just... it's addictive. So, read it.

And to wrap this up, the song that JC sings in Chapter 14 is from a band I
love. I seem to have forgotten to give them credit, and I am so deeply
sorry about that. The title of the song is "My Immortal", and it is from
the band Evanescence. They rock. So much so that my last hint for the new
storyline is it's title.

The new storyline will be called "My Immortal".

The next post from me will be the first chapter, with the disclaimer.
Rather than posting a disclaimer with each chapter, I will only be doing it
once. The opening of the chapters will still have notes from me, and any
additions to the disclaimer that are needed, so... I guess that's it.

Good luck on finals, and stay tuned. First chapter will be up within a
couple weeks.
