By the way: Hi, I'm Willow.
A million words and thoughts flew out of Justin's mind, allowing only one thought to make its way through his befuddled brain.
Justin stared at Chris's prone body. He poked it once, absently, half-expecting Chris to grab his arm on the way there and flip him over.
Nothing. Chris didn't flinch away, didn't move... he didn't even make
that annoying *Pop-N-Fresh* giggle as Justin's finger pressed against his
"Chris? Hello? Chris?" Justin called softly, unsure of and unable to comprehend what had happened. "Um dude? If you're trying to make me feel better about being gay? It's not working."
Justin's eyes widened as the reality of the situation settled in. "Fuck!" 'Okay,' he reasoned, 'I told him. He didn't kick my ass. He didn't call me a fag. That's good.'
'He passed out cold on the bed.'
"Oh Fuck!" Justin sprang back from the bed to his feet, adrenaline suddenly rushing through his veins.
"What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?" He cried, his normally calm and suave voice in a panic. "Okay, Calm down," he told himself. "Calm down. Think. What should I do?"
"The Heimlich Maneuver? No! Moron he's not choking. He's just not awake."
'Why don't you try mouth to mouth?' a sordid little part of Justin's mind suggested. He seriously considered it for a long second... okay, seconds, then shook his head firmly, his breathing starting to accelerate as he lost control of his fear.
"What did I do to him? I'm such a moron. I made him pass out. THINK JUSTIN!!! What do you do for people who faint?!"
'That's it!' Justin turned and raced into the bathroom, fumbling clumsily for the cup that perched on the hotel sink. He filled it with cold water and ice from the bucket and ran back into the room.
"Okay," he assured himself. "All you have to do is splash some of this on Chris's face and he'll wake up. All you have to do is splash some of this on Chris's face and he'll wake up. All you have to do is splash some of this on Chris'sFUCK!"
Justin cried out in pain as his foot hit one of Chris's shoes tossed carelessly on the floor. He tripped and propelled forward, the cup flying out of his hand as he crashed to the ground.
Chris's head shot upwards as cold water landed on a *very* sensitive part of his body. He yelped in shock and surprise and jumped up off of the bed.
"Cold!" he screeched, bouncing around fanning his crotch with his hands. "Cold!"
Justin looked up from the floor. "You're okay!" he sighed in relief.
"Okay!?" Chris asked skeptically. "I'm Okay? First of all, I just came out to my best fucking friend. Second? I have FREEZING cold water soaking into my pants, which I'm sure is causing *Mini me* to shrivel to about the size of swizzle stick, and third-" Chris stopped suddenly to take a breath and Justin opened his mouth to speak, but Chris cut him off.
Chris growled and put his hands on his hips, standing over Justin. "Wait a fucking minute Justin. You're gay? *YOU'RE* gay? Where the hell do you get off being gay? It's *MY* big secret and you just have to steal it?" Chris snapped. Justin looked at him in shock.
"What? Why are you-" Justin tried to say, but Chris cut him off again.
"Oh no! You tricked it out of me and I'll be *damned* if you are going to steal my spotlight. *I* am the one making major life revelations here- NOT YOU!"
Justin squinted and looked up at Chris with amazed eyes, trying to figure out if the older man was serious. He couldn't actually be -mad- that Justin was in the same boat as he was?
And yet, Justin knew Chris's facial expressions and body language, and Chris was definitely angry. Justin scrambled backwards and got to his feet, trying to keep a few feet of distance between him and the enraged Chris.
"Um... Chris?" Justin said softly, trying not to challenge the older man.
Chris suddenly shook his head and looked around as if he was lost. He cocked his head to the side and Justin couldn't help but think he looked like a little bird.
Chris started to laugh and Justin scrunched up his face in confusion. "Um are you okay man?"
"Did I really just yell at you for being gay too?" Chris asked incredulously. "What the hell?"
Justin let out a nervous giggle. "Yeah," he said, running his hands through his hair. "Kind of."
"I'm an idiot," Chris said, laughing. Justin joined in, feeling a little more comfortable- laughter was something he was used to around Chris.
Still, when Chris didn't *stop* laughing, that was a little weird.
"Um," Justin said. "Are you, um, okay Chris?"
Chris laughed harder at Justin's confused tone. "You're gay," he giggled.
"Yes," Justin's affirmed tentatively. He had just told Chris on of his most intimate secrets, and he didn't see what was so funny.
"I'm gay," Chris chuckled.
"Um, so you said."
"Boybands Suck," Chris said, doubling over in laughter.
"Um- what?" Justin stuttered.
"We do. We suck. Or- I'd like to. I dunno about you."
Justin shook his head. "What sucked, is that joke."
Chris just laughed harder. "Why is this funny?" he asked suddenly.
"Um, actually Chris," Justin said, a bit annoyed, "it's *not* all that funny. I was really worried about what you'd say. I mean you passed out man."
"I did?" Chris asked. "I don't remember it. Oh, maybe because I was unconscious." He started to laugh again and then stopped himself. "Oh geez Justin, I'm sorry. I don't know what I'm on right now."
'Yes you do.'
"Shut Up," Chris said.
"I didn't say anything," Justin insisted.
"Wasn't talking to you," Chris said.
"Look Justin, It's just a relief okay? I was so worried about how you'd take it and I wasn't even going to tell you- and all it does is make one more thing we have in common."
"I guess so," Justin said, letting a small laugh of pure nerves escape.
"Can I get a hug?" Chris asked, trying to ignore the little fantasies appearing in his head.
"Sure," Justin agreed, stepping forward as he fought his own demons. The two men grasped each other in a familiar hug and stood there, trying to hold onto their other *dirty little secret.*
'Just because he's gay doesn't mean he'd fuck you,' they both though simultaneously.
"So," Chris said, still in the hug. "We tell the other guys or no?"
"I think we'll have to," Justin sighed. "And just hope that they understand."
"Who knows- they could be family."
"Chris?" Justin asked tentatively.
"Please never say that again."
Chris grinned. "Okay."
"You're getting me wet."
