Life and the written word have a way of going their separate ways at times, as well as the occasional computer virus, which wiped out my original chapter. I hope that this re-write will suffice instead. Though recent real life events have occurred that has made me wonder if anyone is still interested in this story, I've had enough requests that I will continue this story as I originally intended, as there's still more to tell. Please let me know what you think, as I value every reader's opinion. Chapter 65 is the next chapter in an ongoing story about Stephen Gately from Boyzone and Eloy de Jong, formerly of Caught in the Act. I have no contact, with either gentleman or group, so these chapters exist within the imagination of the author's mind, combined with public events that happened during the time. Cheers, Musicfan ### They both wryly admitted that while their spirits were willing, their flesh wasn't able to keep up with their desire. They had to content themselves with kisses and touches, as their weary bodies weren't up to much more. Neither seemed too bothered by it, knowing that they had the whole weekend together. "Mmm, nice." Stephen murmured as he responded to Eloy's touch. They had wiled away the evening in a much quieter fashion than they had started their day. "Danke, honing," Eloy whispered into his lover's ear. They listened to the sounds of the hotel patrons waking up around them. Neither had been able to sleep, and had been happy to lay in one another's arms. Though Stephen's eyes were feeling gritty, he hadn't wanted to sleep at all. "You know what this reminds me of?" He murmured, watching the daylight creeping around the edge of the drapes, brightening the room around them. He felt Eloy's cheek brush against the top of his head in a mute response to his question. "In a way, it reminds me of being together in Amsterdam and watching the sun rise." Eloy closed his eyes in response to the wistful tone in Stephen's voice. The time of which Stephen spoke felt like ages ago, and his heart tugged as he thought of how much time had passed since then. Sometimes he felt like so much time was wasted as the time in between they were together. He squeezed Stephen lightly in response to the comment. "There'll be other times, zusje," he promised. The more time they spent together, the more determined he was that they not be separated again in the future. He knew that the road Stephen suggested was not going to be an easy one, but he felt that they had more than deserved the right to be together. He lightly dismissed the consequences, knowing it wouldn't do any good to worry about them now. "I can see a time where we'll be doing this every morning. Well, at least those mornings where we don't sleep in!" Stephen chuckled at his comment, amused by Eloy's qualification. There was no question that they weren't ready to commit to one another, and he knew that in time Eloy's comment would be true. He longed for the day where they could just spend time together without having to make plans to do so. "Having a lie in occasionally is a good idea," he admitted. Even as the sun was rising, he was growing sleepier. He rubbed his cheek against Eloy's chest, content. "We did put out a do not disturb sign, did we not?" "Ja, when you put the dishes out." Eloy murmured. He was feeling rather cozy and didn't want to move, even if it were to make sure that a maid didn't walk in on them. He glanced at the door and saw that the chain was on, so he wasn't too worried about anyone seeing them. He knew the moment when Stephen finally drifted into sleep by the way his breathing deepened. He enjoyed lying quietly and stroking Stephen's back. The feeling of his fingers against Stephen's skin was soothing as he traced a path along the other man's spine. Though just as tired, especially after the long day he had, he wasn't ready for sleep just yet. He listened to the sounds of people moving about and smiled to himself. A lot had happened since that first time they met, and the last year in particular has been pretty tumultuous. When he looked back to the ending of his relationship with Carlo, it seemed that it had been a natural thing to fall in love with Stephen. Since the first time they had met, they had just clicked together. He couldn't envision a time when they wouldn't be together and he was surprised by that thought. He never thought himself the type to have a permanent, life long relationship, yet his last one had been almost five years. He asked himself whether he could see himself still with Stephen five years down the road and he smiled to himself when he felt his heart skip a beat at the thought. He moved his cheek against the top of Stephen's head, breathing in the younger man's unique scent, and he tried to imagine them ten, or even twenty years later, still together. The thought warmed him, and he closed his eyes, finally ready to sleep at last. . . . It was mid afternoon before either of them stirred. Stephen reluctantly crawled out of Eloy's arms to use the toilet and he fumbled around the dim room trying to make as little noise as possible. When he returned, he was amused to see that he was only marginally successful. Though still fast asleep, Eloy's hand was hunting across the mattress looking for him. He eased onto the edge of the bed and lifted Eloy's hand so that he could crawl back under. Eloy immediately held onto him and he had to stifle a chuckle at the sigh that the other man emitted. A glance at the clock told him how late in the day it was, and he rolled over to wake Eloy. He began with feather kisses around Eloy's lips and heard a murmur in response. After brushing his lips against Eloy's, he pulled back to see if it garnered any reaction from his slumbering lover. Eloy's lips curved into a smile and Stephen grinned at the expression on his face. He traced his fingers lightly over Eloy's chest, amusing himself by watching Eloy's reaction. A glance upwards let him know that Eloy was finally awake when he saw the other man watching him with half opened eyes. "Why hello there," he said softly as he made his way back up Eloy's chest to give him a kiss. "Mmmmm," was the only response he received. He chuckled softly and enjoyed the feeling of Eloy's arms moving to wrap themselves around him in a hug. They kissed and Eloy allowed Stephen to pull back slightly. "Morning." "Try adding a few hours to that estimate," Stephen said lightly. "We've missed morning by quite a few hours." "Ja?" Eloy asked lazily as he stretched against Stephen's body. "Considering the sun was up when we finally went to sleep, I still consider anytime I wake up morning." Stephen laughed and he gave the younger man a reproving glance. "Are you telling me I should think differently?" "Oh, never that, darling," Stephen said with a grin. He enjoyed it when they teased one another like this. "So morning it is!" "Goed," Eloy declared, pulling Stephen back into his arms. "Let's go back to sleep then so we can have another morning again." He ignored Stephen's chuckle as he burrowed down against Stephen's neck. "I'm hungry," Stephen declared pitifully. Eloy wasn't falling for the sad tone in his voice. "You're always hungry," came his muffled reply. Stephen whimpered. "Shush, and go back to sleep." "I don't want to," Stephen replied, sounding petulant. When that didn't garner any response, he started nibbling on Eloy's shoulder. "Hmmmm, this part is tasty! I'll just eat you." "If you're going to start biting me, I have other parts that would rather have that attention," Eloy said, finally raising his face to look up at his troublesome lover. Stephen laughed, delighted with his quip. "Is that a fact," he enquired. "Tell me which parts, because I'm awfully hungry!" Eloy grinned and slipped his arms around his lover. He pulled Stephen even closer, entwining Stephen's legs with his own. "I think you'll just have to explore and find out which ones," he replied. They kissed, each enjoying their teasing. Eloy successfully distracted Stephen from thoughts of food for several minutes until a grumbling interrupted them. Stephen laughed at the expression on Eloy's face. "See, I told you I was hungry. But you didn't believe me." "Oh, I did," Eloy replied. "That's why I offered those other parts for you to gnaw on." Stephen laughed at him. "You do that, mister, and you might not have anything left over!" He chuckled again. "All right, so let's get food. Shall we sneak out and see what we can find?" "Ja, we could do that. Or we could have some more of that Indian food we had last time, and have it delivered," Eloy replied. He was loath to go outside and skulk around where they might be recognised. Stephen appeared interested in that suggestion and he knew that Stephen hadn't really wanted to leave the safety of their room. "Yeah, let's do that. I can ring it in and then we can go get a shower." Stephen reluctantly pulled out of Eloy's embrace and padded over to the desk in the corner of the room. Looking through the phone directory, he found the number and started to dial. "Anything in particular, or just what we had the last time?" "What we had before was fine," Eloy said. Stephen nodded and gave their order to the restaurant. When he rang off, he made his way to the bathroom, Eloy trailing behind him. They didn't linger too long, knowing that the restaurant would be delivering the food soon. They got dressed and set down to watch the television for a while in companionable silence. Stephen leaned against Eloy's shoulder as they watched, enjoying the feel of Eloy's arm around his shoulder as they waited for their food to arrive. He wasn't really paying attention to what was on the television as he was thinking too much about everything else. A knock on the door announced the arrival of their take away delivery and Eloy went into the bathroom while Stephen dealt with the delivery boy. By the time he came out, Stephen had the sack mostly unpacked. "Smells goed," he commented as he wrapped his arms around Stephen's waist and rested his chin on the other man's shoulder. Stephen laughed at he glanced at Eloy and saw his nose twitching. "You look like a rabbit!" He said with a chuckle, reaching up to tweak Eloy's nose. "You know, if you helped, you'd be able to eat that much faster." "What would you like me to help with?" Eloy breathed into his ear, nibbling on part of Stephen's lobe. Stephen shuddered in reaction, unprepared for Eloy's amorous assault. "Mmmm, that's good, but won't go far in terms of filling your belly. How about you go to the icebox and get us something to drink?" Stephen's hands slowed in the unwrapping of their food as Eloy further distracted him. "All the way over there?" Eloy enquired, rubbing his cheek against Stephen's in the direction of the icebox. Stephen nodded, trying to resist Eloy's attempts at seduction. If he gave in, they'd end up back in bed with cold Indian food afterwards. "Yes, all the way over there," Stephen repeated, a note of exasperation in his voice as he stopped Eloy's hand from slipping into his waistband. "Go! You brat!" Eloy let out a pathetic whimper as Stephen slapped his wandering hand and he finally moved off in the direction of the icebox. He grinned to himself as he heard Stephen chuckle behind him. After a quick glance inside, he grabbed a couple of sodas and brought them back to the table. Stephen already had everything else ready, so they sat down to eat. "I love this stuff," Stephen said as he put the food on his plate. Eloy agreed and dug into his portion with great enthusiasm. They talked about what to do the rest of the day and agreed it would be nice to just sit and watch some television. Though neither mentioned it, Michelle's impending arrival made them both nervous. For Stephen, he wasn't sure what to expect the next day when she arrived. She was so unpredictable that she could do anything. For Eloy, his thoughts were on Stephen's sister as well. Though they had gotten on famously over the phone, there was still the chance that once they met face to face that something would go wrong. He also knew his lover well enough to know how much Stephen relied on his older sister, and how much her opinion counted. After a while, however, he shrugged philosophically to himself, because there was nothing he was going to be able to do about it, and it didn't makes sense to worry over what might or might not happen. They had just enough food for the two of them so they didn't have much to clean up once they were finished. Stephen led Eloy back over to the sofa where they sat and watched television. For most of the evening, they just talked, going over all the possible scenarios of Eloy going on the Boyzone tour, and how careful they would have to be. The more they discussed it, the more Stephen wanted to make it happen. He wanted what his friends had, which were to have their partners on tour with group. He wanted to have someone to hold him at the end of the night when he was dead tired from a long performance and needed to be held. He wanted to be able to look out into the audience and see a beloved face watching him perform. He wanted all those things and knew that whatever Michelle suggested, he'd be going back to Mark and asking him to find a way to make it work. "I'm just so sick and tired of having to hide," he moaned to Eloy at one point. "Here we are, holed up in a hotel room when we could have gone out to dinner and enjoyed ourselves, rather than eating off paper plates here. Why shouldn't we have what everyone else has?" Eloy nodded sympathetically. He knew exactly what Stephen was talking about. In fact, even in his own home country where different relationships were more tolerated, he had had to hide his relationship with Carlo, sneaking over to one another's house when the fans weren't looking, maintaining another residence because it wouldn't have looked good to move in together with his ex. At the time it was a decision he had to make for the good of his group and his record company, telling himself that as long as they were together, it didn't matter what hoops he had to jump through. But with Stephen it felt different. For one thing, he was tired of having to do that sort of skulking about just to meet up with his lover. For another, he thought to himself that it shouldn't really matter who saw them together and they should just live their lives the way they wanted and to hell with the consequences. Privately, he acknowledged to himself that he now had far less to lose than Stephen did, and perhaps that was what made the difference in his change in attitude. But in another way, he wanted to be on tour with Stephen in any way he could, because to be separated for months at a time again wasn't something he thought he could tolerate again. Eventually, they had talked themselves out and they just sat together on the sofa watching whatever was on. When Eloy felt Stephen stifle a yawn against his shoulder he turned the television off and suggested that it was time for bed. Both were strangely reluctant to Do so, as that would bring the coming day, and Michelle's arrival, that much closer. It also meant that half the time they had together had already been spent, and to Eloy, it was moving way too fast. He desperately wanted to be able to slow it down and hold onto these few days together. Especially if it ended up that they weren't able to work out the possibility of the tour. The idea of months where Stephen would be on tour without him was unbearable, and he locked onto the negative possibility rather than the positive as they got ready for bed. Stephen felt that there was some change in Eloy as they got ready for bed, and he worried about what he might have said to cause it. The growing silence became increasingly awkward until he finally paced out of the bathroom to ask Eloy what he had done. "Alright, what did I do?" He asked nervously, unable to bear the silence anymore. "Wot?" Eloy asked distractedly from where he had just been straightening up the table where they had eaten earlier. "What'd I do?" Stephen repeated, shifting from one foot to another. "Something's wrong, and I don't know what I did." Eloy looked at him blankly for a minute until it dawned on him that Stephen had misinterpreted his introspection. "Ah, no, zusje, nothing you've done," he assured his insecure lover, moving quickly to wrap his arms around the smaller man. Stephen still watched him anxiously, looking for an explanation. "It's just that... already two days have passed, and with your sister arriving tomorrow, the weekend will go that much faster. And if for some reason, we can't work out the tour, then you'll be gone for months without me being able to see you..." his voice caught in his throat as he articulated that fear. Stephen felt his heart melting in response to Eloy's thoughts and he reached up gently to cradle Eloy's face with his hands. "Oh, baby, don't think that. We'll find a way. We always find a way, don't we?" He drew Eloy's face down for a kiss as he felt the other man's arms wrap around him like a lifeline. "You know that if we spent all our time worrying about the future, we'd never get to enjoy today now, would we?" He stared up into Eloy's eyes, momentarily lost in their depths before he continued. "And even if for some reason Mark changed his mind and wouldn't help us, we'd find a way. After all, there are plenty of hotels, and plenty of rooms. There's nothing to stop you from booking a room at the same hotel that the group is touring in. Lord knows fans do it all the time, so why should you be any different?" Eloy chuckled ruefully at Stephen's comment. "I'm being silly, I know," he said softly, his arms still wrapped around Stephen. "But I get to thinking about it and...." "Well, stop thinking then!" Stephen laughed, giving him a buss on the nose. "Shite, I thought I had done something wrong and I didn't know what!" Eloy laughed at the look of exasperation on Stephen's face. "Sorry, honing," he apologized contritely. Stephen gave him a little squeeze in acknowledgement before letting him go. "That's better. Now go get ready for bed," he commanded, swatting Eloy on the butt and pushing him in the direction of the bathroom. "If you hurry, I predict that you'll find something to distract you when you come back." Eloy moved slowly in the direction of the bathroom to wash up, intrigued by Stephen's comment. "Oh, and what's that?" Stephen waited until he passed beyond the doorframe before telling him the answer. "Oh, well, you'll just have to hurry up and find out, won't you," he teased, listening to Eloy turn on the water. "But how does a naked man in your bed sound?" Eloy popped his head out of the door, grinning around the toothbrush in his mouth. Stephen laughed at the look of expectation on his face. "Go on, you keep on taking your time and the naked man might wander off because he got lonely." He chuckled to see Eloy quickly move back to finish up in the bathroom. He puttered around, straightening the bedclothes before turning off all the lights but the lamp nearest the bed and shucking his clothes off in preparation for bed. The sound of the toilet flushing indicated that Eloy was almost done, so he slipped into bed and lay back in what he hoped was an enticing pose. He grinned to himself, feeling silly; amazed that Eloy could bring out such a feeling of anticipation, even after spending several days together. Stephen told himself that the man had only gone to the bathroom for a few minutes, but he eagerly awaited Eloy's return to the bed for the night. It was worth the wait to see Eloy's expression as he left the bathroom and looked around the dim bedroom, finally catching site of Stephen lying in bed. He paused for a moment before shutting off the bathroom light, padding his way towards the bed. Stephen lay on the side closest to the bathroom, and he stood at that side of the bed, his gaze wandering over Stephen in admiration. Stephen patted the mattress beside him in invitation, amused at the way Eloy was taking his time. Eloy slowly moved to the other side of the bed, disrobing as he went. He let each article of clothing fall to the floor until he was only left with his briefs. Eloy posed for a moment, silhouetted by the lamplight behind him, letting Stephen wait before he slowly slid his underwear down his long legs, kicking them off to a corner of the room. He shut the light off as he slid into the bed, laying close to Stephen, but not touching just yet. "Hey, handsome," Stephen's voice said softly. "Whatcha doing way over there?" Eloy walked his fingers across the bed, finally touching the warm flesh of Stephen's thigh. He worked his way up Stephen's chest to his chin where he turned Stephen's face away and moved in to kiss him on the neck, nibbling up to his ear. "What am I doing?" He breathed into Stephen's ear, pausing to lick the curves. He felt Stephen shudder in response. "Exploring the sexy naked man I just found in my bed." "Oh?" Stephen asked, breathless from Eloy's assault. "And what do your," he gasped as Eloy moved his hand back down to the region of his groin, exploring his body, "...explorations tell you?" He felt Eloy move in the darkness and a moment later warm lips encircled his penis, sucking lightly. He felt himself harden in response and he reached down to run his fingers through Eloy's hair. He sighed when Eloy pulled back to respond. "I find that not only do I have a sexy naked man in my bed, but a tasty one, as well." Eloy murmured before moving back down to incase Stephen with his mouth. He made sure he was undemanding, not wanting to push Stephen into completion so easily. He moved off of Stephen's penis and nibbled the skin around it, moving his way slowly up the other man's ribcage until he found a nipple. That he tongued, rolling the nub around in his mouth, enjoying the sound of Stephen's sharp exhalation. Stephen tugged on his arm, urging him up for a kiss. Finally, he acquiesced and they enjoyed a long, slow kiss together as Eloy settled his weight on top of Stephen. Stephen let his hands wander across his lover's back, stroking the skin enticingly. "Don't stop," Stephen begged softly, enjoying the feeling of their bodies touching one another. He could feel Eloy's erection pressing against him and he moved so that they could stroke their penises together. Eloy held himself up, angling his leg so they could enjoy the friction of the skin rubbing against skin, amazed that the action caused him to leak in response. "Ah," he gasped as he moved, feeling the wetness between them grow. He shifted to his knees, straddling Stephen. He leaned down to kiss Stephen and let the other man rub against his anus. Eloy could feel himself puckering in anticipation at the thought of making love to Stephen this way. "Make love to me, honing," he breathed into Stephen's mouth with a kiss. "I want to feel you inside me." "Oh, baby," Stephen replied, stroking his fingers through Eloy's hair. He reached down to stroke Eloy's penis lightly before moving his hands to Eloy's waist. "I want to do that so much. C'mon now, yeah. Just like that. Almost, baby. Ah...." He gasped as he felt himself slide inside Eloy. Eloy moaned softly as felt Stephen entering him, filling him. It felt so damned good to him that he pulled completely off of Stephen and pushed back down again. He liked the feel of Stephen entering him better than the feeling of his length sliding inside. He did it again, raising his weight up and back down. Stephen gasped each time he did it, and he knew that Stephen was enjoying it as much as he was. He paused to give his lover another kiss before moving back down again. Stephen wanted their lovemaking to last, though Eloy was making it hard by moving the way he did. Each time he pushed past Eloy's barrier, he felt tight muscles clench around him and it brought him closer to the edge of ejaculation. He stroked Eloy wherever he could reach him, one hand on the slick penis that was steadily leaking fluid onto his stomach and another on Eloy's neck, urging him to repeat their stroking again and again. "I love you," he gasped, feeling Eloy suck his fingers into his mouth as they inevitably increased the speed of their movements. Eloy let him go so he could reply, gasping out his love just as Stephen ejaculated inside him. Stephen's involuntary hard grasp on him pushed his over the edge as well and he shuddered as he came as well. Stephen accommodated Eloy's weight gladly as the other man collapsed on top of him, shaking in response. He wrapped his arms around Eloy, murmuring words of love in the other man's ear as he held him tight. Finally, Eloy moved his weight off to the mattress and they cuddled together, neither one wanting to break the moment by speaking. Stephen moved to rub his cheek against Eloy's and felt something wet brush against his face. It took him a moment to realize that Eloy was weeping. "Baby, what's wrong?" He asked in dismay, reaching up to cradle Eloy's face. "Why are you crying?" "Because I love you so much, kindje," Eloy said softly. "Nothing is wrong. I'm just so happy." Stephen felt tears coming to his own eyes at Eloy's simple response, moved by his words. "Oh, baby, you make me so happy. I love you so much." He moved to kiss Eloy's tears away, his own mingling with Eloy's as he did so. They clung to one another, at a loss for words as they soothed one another with loving touches. Eloy eventually was tired enough that he drifted off to sleep, Stephen's declaration that he would love him forever sending him into dreamland. As his breathing slowed down, Stephen lay with his head against Eloy's shoulder, listening to his steady breathing. "I love you, baby," he repeated softly, even knowing that his lover could no longer hear him. "I'll love you forever." A small sigh answered him and he smiled, imagining that Eloy could still hear him. He let the cadence of Eloy's breathing lull him into sleep, to his own dreams of their future together.
